We visited at lunch and arrived about noon. We had no wait to be seated and Sherry served us lunch. She was excellent and the wait times for our meal and refills was reasonable. The prime rib used in the sandwich was fatty and had gristle. The barbecue chichen was good, although the thigh parts seemed undercooked. The garlic bread tasted as if it had no garlic. The restaurant was clean and very nicely decorated for a barbecue restaurant.

The BBQ pork and BBQ chicken was delicioso. The coleslaw and BBQ beans were better than my husband's beans. The waitress was friendly and perfect with everything we ordered. We will return next year.

Four in my party ate here and all of us got sick. We all had different menu items. Won't go back.

I'd give a 5 star if the waitress Sherri was no longer serving in the county! She is rude, does not care about service, brings the wrong food, or it has a hair in it. She snaps at other workers in front of customers. I cringe that I'll be seated in her section.

I would have given this place a 3.5 (are you listening Yelp?) but I couldn't, so I erred on the side of being gracious due to the great service we got. Foodwise, it was alright. Nothing overly spectacular, but solid nonetheless. I had their Caroline Pulled Pork which was substantial and delicious, but was left wanting from the overly dry BBQ Chicken. Everyone else's dinner was good and more than serviceable, just not memorable. However, the service was top notch. From the greeter to the waiter to the kitchen staff, who came out to check on their makings, everyone was really wanting to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and their food. Honestly, the place is not a true 4-star, but the service made up for some of the rest. I'm guessing over time they will get it right.

Very good ribs good fries and excellent beans. Great service. Me and the wife loved it. And we will definitely be going back.

We had a great time. Megan was our waitress she was so happy, and laughed with my husband's jokes even when he wasnt funny. The pricing is great, for a family of four we got fed for under 40 with drinks and dessert. Loved it and recommend it to anyone

Awesome place to eat!! Great service and great food. Fair prices and a wide selection of menu items. The baby back ribs are awesome!! We eat here on a regular basis and never had a bad experience! Must eat place in Cocoa!!

I was passing through the area for work and the lunch options on this stretch of US 1 were extremely limited - it was either McDonald's, Burger King, or Woody's. I had never been to a Woody's location before and this location looked new and wasn't fast food, so we opted for that - but ultimately, based on the price and the food quality, I wish I had just hit a drive-thru down the street for a $1 spicy chicken sandwich and been on my way. The location looks newly built, both inside and outside. When you walk in, there is a pretty nice looking bar - and the whole place had that country homestyle look with lots of wood and little metal signs. The booths were comfortable and had really high walls, so it was probably one of the more "intimate" experiences I've had at a BBQ joint. The service was actually really good - sweet teas stayed full, and she was friendly and smiled a lot. But, the food...this was basically what you would get on "BBQ Day" at a school cafeteria. The fries were decent - but who cares, this should be all about the meat. The beef brisket was chewy, and hard to cut even with a knife - say whaaa? The Carolina pork had a nice tangy-ness to it from marinating in their vinegar-based sauce, but ultimately seemed like leftovers from the weekend that had been reheated, and saturated in liquid smoke. The coleslaw...well, I ate it (I'll eat anything) - but it was basically these tiny dots of macerated cabbage and carrots with a slaw dressing from a gallon jug. The sauces on the table were actually pretty good - and the spicy BBQ sauce helped the experience. The prices are on-par with some of the best BBQ spots you have ever been to - so I was definitely disappointed that I had to trade my $14 for the above experience. If you end up here, you should probably just get a burger.

Well not my first pick for "BBQ" the best thing on the menu was the corn nuggets, the brisket was bland, the baked beans were just ok and the service was "strange" our server asked us to take her home with us (ok that's creepy) And on one of the TV'S in the bar was "the surgery chanel" and they was performing a cleft surgical procedure...ummmm OMGOSH GROSS?? This was our first and LAST trip to old Woodys!

We drove by and noticed a new looking Woody's and decided to give it a go. It was Friday night and the place was busy and abuzz. We were sat after an easy 15 min wait and were greeted by a smiling and knowledgeable Sharley who was quick to greet us, tell about their beer selections while smiling all along. My son had what he described as an "awesome" angus burger and my daughter asked me to write that their mac n cheese was "to die for". I had the full rack of ribs ($16.99) and this is where Woody's fell short. They were itty, bitty minuscule with more bone than meat. What meat was there was delicious but the look and amount of meat on this slab of ribs left something to be desired. Thought maybe it was just mine but noticed that the poor chap next to us at a party table of 11 was equally disappointed with his half rack which looked as frail as mine. The accompanying sides were great and plentiful. Give them a try but beware of being hungry and ordering the full rack of ribs. All other items ordered were great The server was very pleasant and the service was above average.

If you like BBQ, don't shy away from Woody's because of a few crappy reviews. It's a new location, so, naturally, they will have some problems. Give them time to work out any problems. We were a party of 6 and we each split the Woody's Signature BBQ Baby Back Ribs. The ribs were delicious, but small. Not really enough to split. Also, at $16.99 for the full rack, way too much $$$ for what you get. We all agreed that we would return, but I would try something different. The service was good. Waitresses were attentive, and our meals were served hot and timely. Overall, I gave it 3 stars only because I thought the portions were small for the price. The restaurant and surrounding grounds were clean and neat! Recommendation: don't go there hungry, or, order more than you think you can eat! Of course, you can always save room for dessert. They looked pretty appetizing! We did not order dessert, since nobody wanted it. Give Woody's a try and decide for yourself. We read the reviews and still decided to try it and were not disappointed!

This parking lot was empty when I pulled up and after reading the reviews, I was nervous to try it out. Well, let me tell you: The baby back ribs were to die for! They fell right off the bone, were moist and just oh so tasty. The beans were descent, I have had better but they weren't bad at all. The service was great too. I went on a Monday night, so maybe the service and food were good because there was no crowd. Not sure, but I would definitely go back.

My family and I had an awful experience at this restaurant. The service was good; however, the food was terrible. Two family members became ill after eating the pulled pork. My husband ordered the three meat plate and had to send back two items due to their taste and improper cooking. This is just the beginning of our troubles with the food...I will not be returning, and I advise others against this location for BBQ food.

Terrible!! Great location in which they have a lot of traffic and ease of access. Clean inside and looks like a BBQ place. Those are the only good things about this place. My wife and I came there hungry and left hungry. We ordered the fried mushrooms, which were very small, looked like they came out of a freezer bag and tasted like it too. I ordered the Southern Trio, thinking this would be one of the biggest dishes on the menu. I ordered the Texas Brisket, Pulled Pork, and Smoked Sausage. This is what is says on the menu for the pork and brisket: Texas Beef Brisket Moist and full of flavor. The best brisket You'll ever taste. Carolina Pulled Pork We perfected this North Carolina Original. A dinner sized portion of our tender, slow smoked Carolina pulled pork. So maybe my expectations were a little high. With the trio the brisket came with 5 small pieces. My wife measured the Pulled Pork and we received half a cup serving. The Smoked Sausage was essentially a hot dog cut in half. The sides, cole slaw and baked beans came in tiny serving cups. So this is how it looked and it looked incredibly small. Thinking that the small size would make up for in flavor but again disappointed. Pulled Pork tasted like plastic, brisket was overcooked and extremely chewy, and the sausage was like I said before, essentially a hot dog. I would definitely not recommend this place if you are hungry and want good tasting food. It is too bad because from the outside and inner décor you think this place would be decent. When you go to a BBQ place most of the time you expect big helpings. It is evident they are cutting to many corners with the helpings and food quality. This is unfortunate.

If you are from the Carolinas, you will not be impressed with the pulled pork. If you are local to Florida, well, ignorance is bliss; go for it. The coleslaw was okay, the fries were good. I gave three stars cause I'm a nice guy.

We made our third trip to this Woody's location since the opening a couple months ago hoping that they have gotten their act together. We were disappointed again. While the restaurant is clean and new, the service is stale and slow. On this trip we ordered one of the BBQ combos with choice of white or dark meat chicken. We ordered white meat, agreeing to pay the $1.00 up charge, and received dark meat. No big deal right? They'll fix it. Wrong! The waitress argued with me trying to convince me that a thigh was a breast. Because lots of breasts have legs attached to them huh? After waiting ten minutes to get the correct chicken we received a dried out breast to accompany the dried out brisket that was also on the platter. Needless to say, the service was less than accommodating after that.

Huge disappointment!! Tried twice because it's nearby and I really wanted to find a reason to like it. Unfortunately, the food is virtually inedible. Literally, the worst ribs I have ever tasted. An absolute disgrace to southern BBQ. Not many restaurants in this area, but you'd have to be really desperate to eat here. I really hope this place goes out of biz soon so maybe something decent will move in the spot. It won't be soon enough!

The pulled pork had a VERY off putting taste. I suspect it was old and should be thrown away. I was sick about 2 hours later and know exactly why. The server was obviously inexperienced and over her head. Good luck, but I'll take my business elsewhere and suggest you do the same.

We went to woodys last night with a party of eight. We did call ahead seating and were able to sit down pretty quick even though they looked busy. It took quite a while for us to finally place our order but you could tell the waitress was hustling. When the food arrived my full rack of baby back ribs were cold and so were my french fries. I never complain and send back food but I had to this time. When the second rack of ribs arrived they were also cold but the French fries were hot. The waitress apologized and sent over the manager who apologized profusely. When the third rack arrived they were finally hot on the edges but only lukewarm in the middle. What bothered me the most was a full rack of baby back ribs in this place is about half the size of every other BBQ restaurant you will go to. Both my parents got a half rack of baby back ribs and they were about the size of a deck of playing cards it was almost funny how small they were. It looks like they cut a full rack into four pieces and then claim its a half a rack. The ribs did taste good but I won't bother going back for the money there are so many other BBQ restaurants that are way better and when you order a rack of of ribs you should not walk away hungry. My wife had a sampler platter with sausage on it that was very good but the brisket was dry and flavorless. When we were leaving the manager apologized again and said they would try to do better. I do hope the place makes it I'm huge fan of BBQ and there is really nothing else in that area however I think they'll be closed in a year if they keep doing what they're doing. If you're looking for ribs skip this place go to mad jacks in Cape Canaveral or slow and low in Cocoa Beach. 6 out of our party of eight said they will not be back.
