Took almost 2 hours to get our food out. The waitstaff hasn't heard of the concept of touching tables or even giving you an acknowledging look from across the restaurant. Nothing. Anytime we wanted to even order another one of their "famous" Sangria's, we had to wait 30 minutes for the waitress to come by. No excuses, we were the only other table there, and it wasn't even busy.

Came on Memorial Day while waiting for the event to start and the food and service was great.

Amazing food and Sangrias! Such a great place to relax, enjoy a delicious drink, and have some wonderful food. The Bartender Lauren was so sweet, attentive, and accommodating. I cannot wait to go back. My favorites were the peach sangria, the blue wave martini, and the poblano stuffed pepper. Sooooo yummy!

The place is nice, they seem to have a lot of seating, we sat outside and there were about 5 tables. They have a lot of sangria choices and the one I tried was good. I think it was summer something. We went on tues and the tapas were $5. The juicy Lucy burger was good, could have used more stuffing:) the staff were pleasant and friendly. It is Prob a great place to come with friends. Great place and decent food

I only gave a low star rating because I can't put a 5 star because I did not go there. The photos look amazing and the atmosphere seems great -only problem - IT'S UP FOR RENT! NOT OPEN AT ALL! I hope it opens soon me and my best friend can try this place! It looks awesome.

4 stars namely for the amazing sangria variety and the restaurant space. I tasted 8 (yes, 8) different types of sangria and they were all delicious. The restaurant itself is a very cool space with options to eat outside, inside, and upstairs. Upstairs also had little semi-private alcoves, almost like theatre balcony seating. Live jazz while we ate also contributed to the low-key vibe. Unfortunately the least impressive part of the experience was the food. It was good, just not memorable at all. The items that people raved about in the reviews (eggrolls, bad a** hash, etc) were just ok. I was definitely expecting more. If they reworked the menu they could be a force to be reckoned with. The standout from the menu was definitely the peanut butter bomb---worth every calorie.

They have a very unusual menu. Lots of yummy choices. They had live music playing while we were there on a Friday night, which was nice. They were slow bringing out the entrees, and the server told us it was because they were trying to get the food out for the big group. Really?! Interesting... The flight of homemade sangria was fun (choice of 3 types of sangria from the 7 possibilities). The fried green tomatoes were exceptionally good, as well as the mac and cheese. Overall, a nice alternative. A little pricey, but good.

30 minutes no drinks, asked servers stated not her table...she took our order. Had to walk out

A delightful trestaurant that we stumbled upon.Drawn in by the menu, and the cleanliness of the interior I pulled up the YELP app and there it was! YELP has never let me down yet! Grab the sangria sampler! Taste them all because each one is delicious! We also had the pork sliders and the trio nachos. Sliders were awesome, avoid the nachos! The service is friendly, not rushed and casual and very helpful Give it a try, we loved it!

Great place - substantial tapas selection. We tried five or six dishes and everything rated really good. Especially the six layer parfait!!! Ooh, and don't forget to try the sangria flight - I had summertime, very berry and mango blood orange, yum yum :-)

I've been to Sublime a couple of times - once as a solo diner, once with a group. The service was atmosphere was friendly, as was the service. As a solo diner they were quick and efficient. With a group (we had made a reservation), they were a bit slow, but we were busy enjoying the atmosphere and one another's company, so we didn't mind. They have a varied menu with lots of tapas, entrees, and drinks. The Pineapple Mango Salsa was fresh and delicious, although for the price I wouldn't have minded a bit more. The Pulled Pork Sliders were absolutely delicious and filling. I had both a beef and a chicken Papa Relleno - couldn't taste much difference between them. They were quite heavy. The outside was crispy and delicious. The inside was also good, but may have been a bit bland if it weren't for the spicy sauce they say on top off. The Grilled Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich was delicious - the chicken was moist and perfectly seasoned, the ham was thick and well cured, the Swiss cheese was pretty standard, the bread was good, and the lettuce and tomato were fresh.

Service with a smile! Executive waitress whom handles indoor and outdoor service and Head-Chef serve drinks and hot tapas respectively. Everything is made to order, Fast and Fresh! Drinks are refreshing and just right! Will be back next time I'm around. Free glass of sangria with check-in and purchase as well!

Stopped here for lunch while visiting Cocoa. Menu is very unique and I had a tough time deciding. I chose the Navajo salad. Excellent choice. Very fresh served a top of fried bread. hubby had the stuffed poblano pepper. Also delicious but did get a lot of heat. Not sure if it was the pepper seeds or the sauce but he really enjoyed it. They also have flights of sangria that might be fun for a future visit. If I return to Cocoa I would definitely return here for dinner. Very attentive wait staff

Dined here with my Uncle and had a fabulous experience. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and and the menu variety was solid. I'd recommend it to anyone in the area looking for good food and drink.

My wife and I have passed by Sublime in the past and never really paid much attention until today. My wife, my mother in law and I went to Cocoa arts festival and decided to eat mother's day dinner in Cocoa Village so based on the excellent review in Yelp we decided to try it and boy was I surprised as how good the food is here. We had 6 different types of tapas and they were all delicious. Food = The tapas were all delicious and perfectly proportioned so you can share the experience of eating excellent appetizers. 5 stars Customer service = Our server Scott was very knowledgeable of the different types of food that they serve and was very friendly and attentive. Made the whole experience of eating there even more pleasurable. 5.0 Overall experience = we really had a good time eating outside having sangria and excellent tapas. I definitely recommend this place for casual dining and a fun experience. 5.0 5 x 3 = 15 15/3 = 5 stars.

Great Server. The menu is solid. The kitchen can not deliver on the menu.... and the town must know it. It was 8pm on a Saturday night and the place was empty. We are world travelers and have learned to rate every establishment with a coefficient of locality. This place is subpar.

  • Nacho M.

We stopped by here on a Saturday night. When we got there, a jazz band was playing some really good music. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of our experience. The place does not have an area for bands to play, so the band was sandwiched in between some tables by the entrance. This makes is almost impossible to hear anyone, including the waiter. The service was terrible. It took 20 minutes for the waiter to come by and get our drink order, another 15 minutes to get our drinks, and 35 minutes to get our food even though the place was only 1/3rd full with plenty of wait staff hanging around. For drinks, we ordered the traditional sangria and the Arnold Palmer sangria. Both tasted like watered down wine. For tapas, we tried the empanadas and deconstructed BLT. The empanadas were tasty and not greasy at all. The decontructed BLT turned out to be a piece of pork belly that was so overcooked it tasted like jerky on top of a piece of bibb lettuce, slice of roma tomato and slice of baguette. I was really disappointed after reading all the great reviews to have such a lousy experience. Unfortunately, I can't justify giving the place another shot, even if the music was good.

    (2)
  • Karen W.

If you're coming for the sangria, this is the place. However, we were also there for the tapas - what a disappointment. Limited selection of tapas and poorly prepared. The empanadas seemed to be fried in old grease. The shrimp had so much batter (fried in the same old grease) on them you couldn't find the shrimp. The venue is an old bank which is really cool, except the high ceilings negatively impacted the acoustics. There were not that many people there and yet the volume was very loud. It was difficult to hold a conversation at our table.

  • Lauren J.

After reading reviews I'm really surprised how many people seem to enjoy this place! Went for a birthday dinner and right off the bat was disappointed. The staff goofed on our reservation, their fault, and rolled eyes about it in our faces. All 5 of us got sangria flights and they were great! Buuut, we have no idea what we were drinking since they aren't marked and the server was literally guessing. The best thing about the place was the sangria and the music. We all ordered tapas and they were frozen and fried. Empanadas were awful, plain meat, frozen garbage. Atomic shrimp weren't spicy at all and were heavily breaded. Egg rolls tasted frozen, fried green tomatoes, over breaded and the chipotle aioli is a bad pairing choice. Flatbread isn't flat, it's thick like pizza crust. The ribeye was hidden under garlic butter..... It really just wasn't a good place for food. I heard that the drinks were good but food was disappointing.....found out for myself that it's true. The server Lauren tried her best but I think she was over worked. We did get coupons for a free sangria and one tapas item. Might redeem the sangria but definitely not the food. Sad sad sad

  • Lori H.

We went with another couple. The food was good and everyone enjoyed the sangrias. My only complaint is the music is to loud for anyone to carry on a conversation. I'm only 50ish so it's not my hearing but I couldn't wait for the check to come to get out of there. I might come back but only if it's not band night...

Stopped by for a late lunch while passing through on a road trip. Definitely worth the stop. The ambience is very relaxed with Sinatra and other classics playing in the background. Service was friendly and food was decently priced. I started out with fried green tomatoes and my husband opted for the cojonudos. Both were delicious, although kosher and vegetarian diners beware: the fried green tomatoes have bacon in the batter which is not listed on the menu. For dinner I had the Navajo salad and my husband had the grilled catfish. I loved the avocado ranch dressing on the salad. The salad in and of itself isn't very filling, so I would recommend adding chicken or shrimp to it. Since we were about to get back in the car, we didn't try any of the drinks, but the drink menu looked impressive. Overall this place is a great stop if you are in the area!

The food doesn't measure up to the wonderful decor of this quaint restaurant. I had the Grilled Chicken with Chimichurri and Veggies. The chickens was dry and charred on the edges. The chimichurri sauce was so thick and pasty that it made the chicken even worse. Portion was very small for $13.95. And it only came with one side. I was charged $2.75 extra for a very small side salad that was nothing but a little lettuce, a couple slices of tomato, and a slice of cucumber. Had to ask the waiter several times for a glass of water. For such a nice place the silverware was cafeteria grade wrapped in a very cheap napkin. For their prices, they should at least offer some bread and butter to whet your appetite while you drink your wine or sangria and wait for your mediocre food.

Loved this place. Came for dinner while visiting in town and tried the flight sangria special. I'm not a big sangria fan but I loved the Georgia peach sangria and the strawberry sangria. We had a large assortment of tapas which were delicious especially the empanadas and egg rolls. Great place to hang with friends

My fiancé and I came here tonight for date night. It was wonderful! The food was delicious! We had the empanadas, atomic shrimp, and the pulled pork sliders. All were great. We both got sangria flights (samples of 3 different flavors) for $12 each. It was a great deal! Our service was wonderful. The server was very attentive and helpful. The owner (I believe) came over to make sure everything was good, and another server helped us as well. Everyone was very helpful and nice! I would recommend this restaurant.

The atmosphere was really nice and it was a pretty laid-back place, but I was just not impressed by the portions and to some extent, the food. Most of us know that the dirty little secret to "tapas" is that you get charged a regular sized appetizer (shareable) price but with smaller portions, because they slap the word 'tapas" on it. Yes, I know that this is the norm with a tapas restaurant, but the ones that I have been to that actually gave you portions that match what the price is have been the ones that stand out to me. It's kind of like the whole thing where on The Simpsons Homer's brother, Herb, basically says "put a flashy name on a crappy car and some dumb American will buy it". You can't fool me Tapas, you're a dick, Tapas. As for the food, it was kind of mediocre. The goat cheese and bacon quesadilla was okay, and not too crispy for the shell. Actually kind of limp and soggy. The drinks were watered down (margarita), and the tortilla chips for the Santa Fe sampler were pretty stale. The Atomic Shrimp was really good, and the portion was meh. I don't know....it seems like every time I go to a tapas place I get all excited because everything looks so good, but the size isn't fulfilling. Give us the whole thing, not just the tip.

Ate here for lunch one afternoon. We walked right in and were seated immediately on a Saturday afternoon. We were pretty surprised with their menu selections. They were unique, diverse and enticing. We couldn't decide on just one item so we shared a few different things. We started with the poblano stuffed pepper and it was good. We both thought it was tasty but not at all spicy. Next we tried the Sublime egg rolls, they had a light taste to them, but were surprisingly a bit bland for our taste. My favorite part of the meal came last. The GQ burger. I loved it. This burger packed a lot of flavor. The meat was juicy, the bun was nicely toasted, and the flavor from the goat cheese and quail egg were an amazing compliment. Good service and food! Friendly staff! We would eat here again. It wasn't out of this world food, but it was really good and reasonably priced.

This place is awesome! Food was excellent and so was the Sangria!! Traditional and Peach was the best flavors for the sangrias! As for entrees, the Bad Ass Hash and the Five cheese surf and turf mac n cheese was the top choices! Last but definitely not least, our server Carly Flowers was soooo great!! She made the experience even better! Thanks for making the beginning of our vacay great!! If we are ever back in town we will definitely be back to this place!! Loved it!

Go for the drinks not the food, atmosphere or the service. My husband and I went for date night and we were sat right next to the door where we could see our server (J'aime) go outside to take her break and smell the smoke from the outside smokers. We ordered three things off the tapas menu (shrimp, salsa, and a flatbread) all very bland and presentation was awful. My husband ordered the Mac and cheese entree. He took one bite and determined that he would have to doctor it at home in order to finish eating it. He said it tasted like Alfredo sauce from a jar. The chocolate martini was pretty good and so was my husbands rum runner. But wait! There's more! We were overcharged after we left the restaurant. So now we have to deal with Sublime and our credit card company to get that resolved. We should have stuck to Cafe Margaux. Live and learn and never return.

Great burgers with a twist of goat cheese and even a quail egg. Well presented and tasty. Drinks were good. Naturally they are known for Sangria. Come in and enjoy. Even sitting at bar was cool.

Sangria is a must. I had the blood orange sangria, but one of my companions had the Summertime. I would get the Summertime next time. Mine delicious, but I preferred the light taste of her drink. We went with a table of six colleagues for lunch. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I had the pork sliders (bbq & buffalo) -- so good. The bbq was sweet and the buffalo sauce was just a little spicy. I also had beef empanadas which had thin flaky dough and well flavored beef. Over all this place is an amazing success; I will definitely be back.

Could not tell you about their food! Never got served...water, nothing! After 20 minutes, we called over the young man from the hostess stand and asked if they forgot to assign a waiter. He was a little apologetic and asked if we wanted water. Yes, that would be a start. Then he returned to the hostess stand. We left.

Couldn't eat indoors as they were having a bachelor auction and the noise level was crazy. Bit cool for eating outside, but, oh well. The Sangria was great, but my first two choices for food were out, and the waiter didn't know when I ordered it, so that caused a delay. Almost an hour wait for food. What we got was good, temperatures right, but not exceptional. I may well go back, but more for the Sangria and location than the food.

Enjoyed our dinner at Sublime and the sangria 3 flight is a must. Katie was our server very friendly and informative. The atomic shrimp was dynamite and the greens on the salads were the freshest we have had in restaurants in years. The peanut butter bomb was so good and rich plus huge and enough for two people. Will go back to this unique restaurant.

  • Bill B.

More like Subpar, not Sublime. If you are going to name a dish "Atomic Shrimp" and then have a description "Crispy fried shrimp tossed in a fiery volcano sauce. " Make it spicy!!! The aioli with the fried green tomatoes had more kick. Talked to the waitress and she said the cooks had toned it down because of some complaints, Well either rename it or tell people that if you don't like hot then don't order it. If you have issues with the following words describing a dish with words such as Atomic, Fiery and volcano...DON'T ORDER IT. You wussies ruin it for us that like some heat... Disappointed nonetheless on my first visit there...I'll give it one more go.

We had reservations and were seated immediately. They had a live band and female singer who was good. The music was not too loud and it was enjoyable. We sat upstairs and had a nice view to people watch and see the band. We ordered 3 Empanadas and tried each of the 3 choices offered. My least favorite was the chicken and my most was the cheese (go figure). They were tasty but a bit over cooked. Still I would order them again! My entree was the Surf n Turf Mac N' Cheese. It was AWESOME!!! It had shrimp and bacon and a yummy cheese sauce. I'm a mac n' cheese snob and this one was one of my favorites ever tasted! Such a huge portion so be sure to ask for a to-go box! My boyfriend had the steak. He never got his side salad but the medium rare angus slab of beef was incredible. I'm not a huge red meat eater but it was really tasty! Cooked to perfection! Now here is why the 3 STARS were given. And I do not like to give mediocre reviews but Sublime, you did it this time. :( Our waitress was new and she warned us she was. She also told us there was a huge party downstairs and thats why the service was extremely slow. She asked us what we wanted to drink and before we could answer she said she would be right back with some waters and a drink menu. OK! Great! Bring on the SANGRIA!!! Unfortunately, she dropped our waters off and ran, then dashed by our table 2 more times. Luckily the table next to us had a drink menu that I had been eyeballing. I finally meandered over and asked if we could borrow it. Drinks ordered and they came pretty quickly. Food ordered and that all came pretty quickly, too. The sucky part was that we saw 4 or 5 different wait staff throughout the evening. We got our food but had no silverware. Then we "needed" more drinks. We WAITED, We WAITED....waited. There was a lot of wait time in between. A gentleman delivered our check and when my boyfriend told him he never got his salad the guy said he would take it off the check. He gave him his credit card and when he went to sign there was no reduction on the check. When he asked the guy he stated, "Oh that's because it came with the meal." OKKKK - well then maybe you should give us the salad to go? At that point, however, we just wanted to take our food and go home. Would I go there again? YES, but under different circumstances. Not on a Friday night, not when a Play is going on around the corner, and not during spring break. Sublime - your food was great! Very good! But you need to get your wait staff in sync! OHHH and your SANGRIA, I ordered the Traditional. Not too shabby!

I had the pleasure of enjoying a date night to Sublime with my special lady friend. We had a wonderful appetizer of Buffalo Wontons. They came very fresh and hot, and were served with a nummy ranch dipping sauce. For our main coarse we decided to go with Juicy Lucy Burger. I'm a Minneapolis native, where the burger originated in, and I have to give this wonderful burger 5 stars. The bun was toasted but not so much to take away from the freshness of the bread. The bacon was also great. For dessert, I had a piece of Cheese Cake and she had the Key Lime pie. Both were top notch. If you are looking for a great place to get quality food and service, check out Sublime.

The staff was wonderful, the food was perfect--so good ----my husband had a second hamburger! The chef came out to check on us--very good service. The Sangria is perfect--second pitcher on this also--great sangria! I liked everything about it except the decor. They need to do some decorating to dress it up a bit! Details are so important in creating great experience.

My parents and I ate lunch at Sublime when they came to visit. We all had a nice meal and the service was excellent. I had the French onion soup and it was excellent.

The sangria is great! If you want to some different ones, go for the flight which is 3 different sangrias for $12. The setting is intimate and but plentiful. The menu is not very extensive but there's just enough to choose from. This is a great place to stop in for Happy Hour with the girls.

  • Cami B.

The summertime sangria was fabulous. I ordered the chicken empanadas, stuffed Poblano pepper and cheddar and poblano soup, all were very good and tasty. My companion ordered the atomic shrimp and spinach almond cranny berry salad and it was excellent. The raspberry vinegarette tasted homemade and was awesome. The service in the beginning was a little slow but got better and he was very at tentative by the end.

Tried this new Cocoa Village restaurant in the old bank building. Food was great, excellent assortment of Tapas, both hot an cold. We ordered a number of dishes for the table I ordered the Santa Fe Sampler (chips with 4 different dips) and Cheese Empanadas both were excellent. All portions were good sized with plenty to share. They also clearly mark their Gluten Free options on the menu so you don't have to spend time searching them out. Everyone at our table enjoyed what they ordered, only regret is we didn't try the Sangria on this trip. Review would have been 5 stars except they were out of a couple of menu items (fried green tomatoes and deconstructed BLT) and salt for the Margarita glasses (?) Also, the service was a bit disjointed, hopefully they will work that out.

Best meal we've had in the week we've been in the area! We've been to some pretty nice places this past week and very disappointed...... but Sublime was the bright spot in our culinary week. The poblano pepper and cheddar soup was excellent. Well balanced flavors pleasing to the palette. The Classic Burger was surprisingly good. Cleary flame cooked and to specifications. Ice tea was newly brewed (not sitting like so many, yak!) and refreshing. Even the Steak fries had a an slightly different taste to the seasoned salt applied. When enjoying the historic district of Cocoa, FL this is a great stop for your meal of the day.

Oh how badly i want to like this restaurant! I've been here twice now, and both times the service has been unbelievably slow. Like, theres only 4 tables seated and two of them leave because no one ever came up to them, slow. Luckily, my friend and i were in no rush, so it didn't really matter to us, but it did take us 30 minutes to get our sangria flights and over an hour to get our food. And at that point, there were only two tables sat in the whole place! What is going on in that kitchen? Or behind the bar? And the bartender/waitress was not knowledgable at all about the liquor being served or what the specials were that day. It seemed like every question we asked, she had to go ask someone else to find out the answer. On the plus side, the sangria is fantastic, and the food is decent. So if you have alot of time to kill and want some good sangria, this is your place. Otherwise, i'd advise you to pick any of the other wonderful restaurants in the village.

Sangrias are amazing here. Not like any other sangria I have had anywhere. The tapas are executed perfectly, the fried green tomatoes and atomic shrimp are a must try! The service is inviting and friendly. They have live music every Friday and Saturday night, I love jazz so I'm in there quite often. If you are a jazz person like myself you have to go in and see Tony Wynn. I believe he plays on the 23rd of this month, make sure you make a reservation because he fills the place up.

I visit Cocoa Beach often and have been to Sublime three times, the food here is always great, I always start with their Trio of Sangria. What I really like about the place they seem to hire friendly people, from the hostesses, to the waitstaff, to the management, never have I encountered anyone who didn't seem to like their job. I don't write a ton of reviews but dediced to write one for here because during my last visit I met the manager JC. We chit chatted and once he discovered it was someone's birthday at the table he made my group feel like we were getting the VIP treatment.

After trying every other restaurant in the Cocoa Village area, all of which are spectacular, I had plans to make it over to Sublime which by the historical looking building I had imagined the food would be quite a treat. Unfortunately I never got to try the food due to the horrible first impression. Waitress/Bartender with short black hair, day shift, Friday 11/7, walks over with the worst attitude I have experienced ever at a restaurant. Obviously seemed extremely unhappy to be there or to have speak to customers at all. This caught me off guard to the degree that I wouldn't have felt right eating there. This is unfortunate I certainly looked forward to putting this place on my list of favorites that I frequent in the area. Dear Sublime, make sure you know who is working for you, weed out the bad employees and perhaps you may have a chance to succeed. I wish to give no stars at all, unfortunately yelp requires you give at least one before you can post. Again it's based only on service since we were made so uncomfortable that we left.

Love the jazz, building, table service, and sangrias! I've been here three times. I highly recommend going on the 3rd Saturday of the month when Tony Wynn and Cameron Brown play jazz. They are amazing talents, and engage the crowd by circulating the restaurant and playing solos by each table. The food, however, can definitely improve. Chicken empanadas and fried green tomatoes average at best. Atomic shrimp hit or miss. Would like to see larger servings for entrees, with side items included instead of additional charges. Prices for tacos, etc. are high for what you get. Two regular-sized soft tacos for $12.95 with a small servings of chips, for example, is too much. In general the menu sounds great, but in execution not so much. I haven't tried the burgers yet...next time! I hope Sublime steps up on the menu delivery so they make it; this building has been several other restaurants already and it's a great location!

Great sangria and decent bar food. Don't come expecting traditional Spanish tapas. This is an American take on small plates. The selection is a bit heavy on deep fried items, and presentation could use some work (e.g. serve bread with the olives). Overall this was a welcome respite from the usual tourist fare. I had a sangria flight sampling three sangria-style cocktails, and they were all fantastic--not too sweet and made with quality wine as the base. Also, we arrived before 7 and got the happy hour price on our drinks and tapas.

I'd seen Sublime advertise their "Sunday Fun-Day" on Facebook, which I mistakenly thought was Sunday brunch. I had my 11 month old son with me & while there was only one person sitting inside the restaurant when we arrived (11:30 Sunday morning), it didn't seem like a place for kids so we decided to eat outside. When I asked the hostess, who was sitting down, out of site, behind the hostess station about brunch she told me that they only have their regular menu available. Okay. We were seated and I asked the waiter for recommendations. He suggested the Fried Green Tomatoes so I ordered those. A couple minutes later the same hostess brought out a sandwich board that said , "$5 tapas & bottomless Mimosas or Bloody Mary's". Would've been nice to know before I ordered. When my waiter came back I asked what the $5 tapas were. He said he didn't know anything about it but would ask. Several of their tapas were on special for $5 so I also ordered the empanadas in addition to the fried green tomatoes. When the tomatoes arrived I was very disappointed. They were completely void of seasoning and only tasted like oil. The aioli sauce they came with was very spicy but not very flavorful. The empanadas were better. I ordered one chicken and one beef. I preferred the beef. They were crispy & flaky and came with a nice dipping sauce. The waiter was nice enough and was very accommodating when I asked for some bread for my son but he and the hostess could've been more informed or forthcoming with the specials. This may be a better place for dinner & drinks but their "Sunday Fun-Day" wasn't all that great.

We had lunch at Sublime on a slow monday. We ordered the wrap & salad specials. Both were good. The house salad was small, but especially good, with good lettuce, small tomato slices, some grated cheese, and dressing on the side. The wraps were a bit different with peppers, and a mushroom or two in there. All fresh, tasty ingredients. The staff was pleasant and attentive. We had soft drinks -- their fountain drinks were not so good. She sent hers back. Few places get their soda fountains set up just right, IMO. Soft drinks aren't their specialty. Sublime is more of a sangria or mixed-drink lunch place. $18 for two specials with beverages.

My first experience at Sublime was superb. We were seated, served, and cooked for by the same guy (Mikey) who was just great. Our drinks (a cocktail and sangria flight) were really good (better than most bars serve) and the food was delicious. Our burgers were mouth-watering, perfectly cooked, and had us eating with eyes closed! We've been searching around and are so delighted to have found a go-to burger joint in the area. Very impressed!

Just opened. We popped in for the mini sangria flight and an appetizer. The flight was delicious. The empanadas were okay. The chicken empanadas were delicious and the beef and cheese were average. Great service. We will be back.

My boyfriend and I ventured to Cocoa Village when our plans fell through from our port day (on a cruise). Shopping wasn't great, but we decide to give the tapas a try because I eat Spanish food any time I can. Not only did they have my favorite tapa (potatoes bravas), the empanadas were great, and the sangrias were DELICIOUS (not to mention nice and strong). Service was fantastic on a Monday afternoon-Scott1 (because he's #1) was an attentive and funny server, as was the hostess pulling double duty. The atmosphere was great; I loved feeling the history around us while we ate. Would absolutely go back if we were ever in the area!

We were walking by and headed for a different restaurant and decided to take a chance. We were pleasantly surprised with a wonderful meal and a delightful waitress. We had fried green tomatoes and mediterranean flat bread. Both were excellent. I had catfish cajun style and my wife had a caeser salad with chicken. They were excellent. She wants me to add that the lights in the booths should be a foot or two lower so they do not shine in your eyes and each table should have a candle or some sort of light to make the restaurant more inviting. She is an interior designer and notices the things that I am oblivious to. Basically great food and service and we hope to go back before we head home

Stopped in for lunch their first week open. A bit disorganized but very gracious and helpful. First weeks are always tough. The food was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Only problems we had were the lights were so low it was hard to read the menu. They turned more lights on. The waiter put in the order for the wrong sandwich for one person at our table. He apologized and got the correct sandwich right away. He also left the wrong sandwich with so the rest of us could enjoy it. Thank you. Great restaurant, great food and great music.

Unbelievable!! What started out as a "second chance" of a local restaurant that was just ok, ended as a definite NO GO AGAIN place for us! Lauren, the manager, needs to learn a little bit about customer service and how to not disrespect her staff. We started with some happy hour specials and a couple bottles of Chandon splits (all reasonably priced). We inquired about what other Champagne they had, as they didn't list any on the menu. Our server didn't know, went and checked and said they had a Belair Rosé and asked us if that would that be okay. The four of us ladies said sure! No prices were mentioned, but it's a $30 bottle in the store, so our expectation would be a double markup in price. Fast forward, the bill arrives and we are charged $100 for the bottle! We request a price list (more than once) that we never received. We were told that this particular bottle is usually $130 but since it was leftover from a VIP party we were getting it at a discounted rate. We explained to Lauren that we would be comfortable paying $75, not $100, and certainly not $130! We were told that our server had told us the price (which she didn't and admitted that she didn't even know the price, as Lauren had put it on the bill) but that she'd call the general manager to see if anything could be done. The price was dropped to $90, still outrageous. Oh, Sublime, you need to rethink how you treat your customers, especially since 3 of the 4 ladies in our group are successful small business owners in the Cocoa Village/Rockledge area! BAD BAD BUSINESS!

Biggest rip-off ever! Hosted a GNO here with 3 other ladies. We asked if they had champagne, our waiter told us she would have to check. She returned saying 'we only have the little bottles, and they are $7'. So we order 2 splits. Waiter then returns saying 'my manager said we have a belair rosé if you guys would like'. We agreed to all 4 split the bottle while trying some if the hot and cold tapas (bruschetta was decent and deviled eggs had too much seasoning on them). We ask for our bill and see that the 'rosay' as it has been manually put onto our bill is $100. We expected to pay $75 (it's a $30 bottle in stores). We asked for the price list for the champagne since we were beginning to feel taken advantage of. We were never given any price list. Lauren, the manager, came out and said 'well we keep that for our VIP clients and it's usually $135 per bottle, I already discounted it to $100 for you.' I again ask to please see their printed price list, which was again ingnored. Lauren tells us our waiter Moe had given us the price verbally. We ask Moe when she gave us the price and apologized for not hearing it. Moe says 'I never gave you a price because I dont even know how much it costs. I kept asking lauren for the price and she wouldnt give it to me.' That confirmed for us that lauren just entered a price she saw fit for this rosé and took advantage of us :( As a local business owner in Cocoa Village, shame on you Sublime Restaurant for taking advantage of fellow small business supporters. We will not go back, and we will advise our clients the same.

This is typical bar food. Greasy, heavy, but flavorful. It's a fun atmosphere in the making. But they have some details they should consider making to complete the facelift of the old bank. Service was good, but a bit scattered. Their trio of sangria was very good. We enjoyed their shrimp the most. Go for a good time, they do have live music some nights, and happy hour is $1 off any appetizer plus drink specials between 4-7pm. Go in those hours to have better service and get a better deal for the food.

I discovered this restaurant tucked away in the heart of Cocoa Village. The sangria flights and the food were amazing! We will definitely be back :)

My husband and I found it walking around the Coco Village shops and I'm glad we did. We went the tapas route, ordering from a large variety of hot and cold tapas . We ordered the fried green tomatoes, Goat cheese quesadilla, pulled pork sliders, 3 empanadas chicken, beef and cheese. The portions were on the larger side and delicious. Courteous and unpretentious staff. The only bad thing I could say is the decor could use some updating. Yummy :)
