Wanted to try someplace different other than the usual fast food places so I looked up the Cocoa Cafe. Their prices looked very reasonable so we gave them a shot and placed a carry out order. The young woman who took our order over the phone and assumably the same person who got our order together was very nice and pleasant. Everything was packaged neatly. I got the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans while my daughter got the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and corn. I also got a side of Mac and cheese and fried pickles. Everything was very tasty and you get a good amount of food for the price. I wasn't a big fan of the mashed potatoes as they were on thick side and had skins in them which I've never liked. My daughter polished most of hers off and gave a thumbs up as well. The food isn't going to necessarily blow you away but it's a solid homestyle meal and I'm glad we finally tried it. I'll definitely go back to try more of their menu.
