Great place to grab a beer or a meal. Very comfortable setting, great variety of beer, and friendly service every time. Recommended for locals and tourists alike.

Awesome staff, great beer, nice live music....real authentic Irish pub!! Great night out with anyone. The regulars here are friendly and are welcoming! It's a must see!

We went for the live music, specifically to see Brendan Nolan. Sooooo happy. Full disclosure - I love Irish music and classic pubs (comfy and unpretentious) so I went with a good attitude. The menu is simple, straight forward, good prices ($7-10 sandwiches/wraps which come with chips and a pickle). We both had the Reuben and it was really good. When they said it comes with bagged potato chips I was disappointed, but honestly, those were good chips. Irish cream cheesecake for dessert was a pleasant surprise. The house sound was just the right mix and the energy level was pub-tastic. Singing and clapping along with the rest of the bar. There was ample parking and it is located near to the cruise port!

As a suggestion I took some friends from up north. I can't believe that this place was as empty as it was. This is a hidden gem. True Irish pub, loved the look and feel. Had the bangers and mash, and I thought I'd retuned to the old country. Great portions and the kids meals were on point. Everyone had such an enjoyable time. Hard to believe we're in Florida with this experience. Beers are cold and great, ordered Black and Tans, Guinness and more. Great selections and wonderful staff. Don't let this pass you by, stop into a true Irish pub.

100% authentic. It really does have the best pints of Guinness. I'll be back many times.
(5)Derek E.
Decent food but limited menu. Very Irish feel inside a strip mall (sounds odd but it's true). Best of all they have a REAL Irish pub ale Kilkenny!!!! Mostly non traditional menu and locale makes it only a three for me.

Just went by for drinks, but it was wonderful Met the owner who was friendly and fun. This is a traditional irish pub. Service is very good, ambiance as well. And it is a beautiful place, complete with rich culture.

good selection of drafts. $7 for a 12 oz. bottle of craft beer....RIP OFF!!!!!! i was waiting for the topless dancers to come out.

Best pint of Guinness outside of Ireland. Cute place getting even better. Great for lunch or dinner. I've had bangers and mash today - excellent! Good shepherd's pie before. Plenty of sandwiches. Changing from older to mixed crowd with younger Johnny Nolan in charge. Johnny is an Irishman who only arrived recently to run this. We love it!

This pub is AWESOME!!! Johnny Nolan was our server and not only is he handsome, he will knock you over with his accent. He made a Frappaccino with Irish Cream on the fly to my daughter happy I had the Swiss and ham- delish! The kids had Shepherds Pie and licked the bowls clean wishing they'd ordered the full size portions. I've been to Ireland and this pub is very authentic- tight down to the mismatched Queen Anne's chairs. As a SUPER picky gal, I can assure you, I'll be back!!

Tasty Turkey Club Sandwiches on fresh bread and beer sampler. Clean, well lit bathrooms and family friendly ambiance.

Time for a Guinness.Great food, and a great staff. Was in with a group of eight people. I had some great shepherds pie, another had the Reuben, everyone has enjoyed what they had. JJ was the entertainment that night, we came specifically to see him. He is Scottish, sings Irish, Scottish and 80/90's songs, and is just hilarious as a one man show. He plays guitar, harmonica, the thin drum ( I don't know the name), and tambourine. All of the beers are properly served, Guinness has to be done just right, and they do it perfectly, every time. Driving toward the beach yesterday evening with a couple hours o kill, my wife and I spotted this place and thought to give it a try. So very glad we did. We walked in, and you could instantly feel a really nice vibe in there. It was clear the place was full of regulars. We made our way to a little back room with old, comfy chairs and sofas, and sat down. Within a minute, and extremely friendly waitress came over, welcomed us and gave us some menus. We were not there for a meal, so I grabbed a Guinness and my wife some other beer. We also decided to grab some cheddar & bacon flatbread to snack on. Everything was fantastic, but we didn't have enough there to review the place on food quality. It was the atmosphere that really grabbed us. A few minutes into our stay, a very nice Irish man walked up to welcome us. he was clearly the owner, especially considering his name was Nolan. We spoke for a few moments, and he was genuinely happy to have us. You know the difference between the forced "Welcome" smile and someone that is really loving what they do. It was an absolute pleasure. After he left, we continued to nosh on our food and drink our beer as a conversation sparked up with a man sitting near us. He was clearly a regular here, and again... so very friendly. He even told us a little about the owner that we had just met, who was a retired priest! Go figure, I never would have expected a priest to retire and open a pub. We kept chatting for a solid hour before we unfortunately had to leave. But we left happy, both commenting that we found our go-to place when we want to hit up a pub in the area. Just an all around great little place! Highly recommended.

The music here is always awesome for us boomers, from classic folk to Irish folk Beer is Irish and creamy and yummy and they had a great white wine blend choice. Just wish they would upgrade the menu; would bring in the dinner crowd to stay later for music . Some potato skins, fried pickles, and more heavily stacked sandwiches for starters.

Stopped in for a bit with the family. Beautiful place that looks new inside. You would not believe it had been they're for over 7 years. Fantastic Irish atmosphere. Had perfect pour on the two beers I had. Ordered the bangers and mash that had great flavor. But the sides could do better. The mash tasted good but did not taste like fresh potatoes were used. Wife had artichoke dip and said she could have that add her main meal it was that good. She ordered the tomato basil flat bread, but was surprised that cheddar cheese was used and not mozzarella. Kids had chicken tenders and Mac n cheese. Chicken was very good, but Mac was Kraft Mac n cheese out of the box, just put in a bowl. The kids said it did not taste good. Was hoping for some home crock style Mac n cheese. Something rustic but simple. Owner was there working our table and other guests. It says a lot when the owner is there engaging customers. While not from the area, we'll definitely try to stop by again and try a few more dishes. It's locally owned and had a true Irish spirit. Worth visiting and having a few bites and pints.

Went to Nolan's tonight. Very friendly pub with excellent music. I cannot comment on the food as we were there for the music and beers. Servers were very friendly. Owner out there meeting and helping with the service. We are from Mass. So we know Irish pubs. This one is excellent. Met some really nice people there.

I love this place! I happen to be a local...but, whether you're just passing through or live in the area this is definitely a place you have to check out! All of the staff is awesome and always makes you feel welcome. Joshua, one of the bartenders, is great....he keeps your glass filled and the conversation going...he makes sure you always have a great time!

We went to Nolan's for the first time expecting a wonderful meal after reading the reviews on Yelp. Unfortunately, that wasn't what we received. My husband ordered the Reuban & it was sad. It was lacking in ingredients. I could have made a much better sandwich at home. I ordered the stew but it was more like a soup. The stew wasn't thick at all & didn't have much flavor. I gave it to my husband but he didn't like it either. If you want great Irish food, head to downtown Melbourne. The high notes for Nolan's was the entertainment & their beer. If you are going out for the evening & want to have a few beers & listen to some great entertainment, by all means go to Nolan's. The waitress was really nice also. I wish I could give Nolan's a higher mark but it just didn't rate for us. :(

Nolans Irish Pub is the exemplary pub for all public houses to take a cue from. A friendly staff, great chatty patrons, hearty beer selection and nightly themes made Nolans a hidden gem in an others wise bustling, crowded Cocoa night life. Join others for trivia, weekly Father Ted viewings, Writers night, and a very popular Open mic night, and im sure you will not be let down by Nolans for a place, where, even in Florida, a step inside will somehow turn a balmy day snug.

We really loved this place. Great Irish beer, atmosphere, fun people. I had the stew and my husband had the corned beef sandwich. Both were yummy. Good music. A locals place. We will go back for sure!

I stopped in for lunch and asked the bartender if he would recommend the rueben or the shepards pie and he said the rueben. What I expected was fresh corned beef brisket as I have had in many authentic Irish establishments like Fitzgeralds on Bonita Beach florida and what I got was a nasty deli cold cut sandwich like you would expect from from one of the chains like Denny's or Mel's on their $5.99 lunch special. At least their you would probably get fries and a drink. With tip and a glass of water my tab was $15.00 I then made the mistake of buying two tickets to the evenings entertainment for fifty bucks it sounded like it would be good. I asked the bartender if I would get shot for ordering miller light in the Irish pub he said no it wouldn't be an issue they sell a lot of it. He also told me they were only selling 100 tickets so everyone could have a seat. We showed up about fifteen minutes before the music started and had to struggle to get a seat we ended up finding two empty stools and stuffed them in the corner by the walk thru for the bar. The bartender came over and offered us a drink. I asked for a miller light and I was told they were out of it. I said I even asked the afternoon bartender and he made it sound as though they would have plenty. If I would have known I would not of bought the tickets. They must be used to customers being unhappy because there was no effort to correct the problem the woman just looked at me like owe well that's your problem we could care less what you want or what you were promised we have your fifty bucks. So I took the nasty alternative and tried to enjoy the music. After an hour of moving out of the way because people kept going behind the bar mostly for no reason just to stand and look at the singer. On top of that I couldn't see the singers without rubbernecking around other patrons we left. Besides terrible seats being pushed out of the way twenty five times the acoustics were so bad I could rarely understand what the singer was singing. They did smile as they took my money I will give them credit for that and they did sell you what they wanted to sell you promptly.

1. Magner's Irish cider on tap. 2. Irish Pub which has an authentic true Irish feel. Snooks, Irish beers, bartender, and owners. 3. LOVE the vintage chairs + fireplace seating are so comfy and cozy. 4. Entertainment: From Trivia Tuesdays, to live music on Fridays + Saturdays they definitely take time in hiring + the selection of talented individuals! 5. The owners: John + Mary, Manager- Gerry, and bartender Eddie make every visit a lovely one! My absolute favorite bar in Cocoa Beach!

Had lunch here today for the first time. My first four-star review will stand, mostly because of the atmosphere and the service. My wife said her turkey sandwich was great, but I was disappointed that my reuben wasn't better. I expected to see some fresh cut brisket in an Irish pub, but the sandwich was made from deli meat. It was made with red cabbage instead of sauerkraut, and the bread was great, so that was it's saving grace.

Whenever we travel, we like to seek out Irish pubs & taverns but also approach them with skepticism. On the one hand, I generally know that I might get a tolerable beer at one but on the other hand, there are just too many mediocre dive bars that call themselves "Irish" by picking an Irishy name and plastering the walls with St. Patrick's Day decorations from the local party supply store and the obligatory Guinness mirror. With that said, Nolan's ranks among the better establishments I've frequented. The menu was, to put it bluntly, not all too impressive. Just a typical smattering of sandwiches and quick-prep bar food for the most part, so nothing unique or revolutionary. But that's not why I rate Nolan's so highly. It's the atmosphere. In our travels locally and all around, we've found that there is a certain unidentifiable vibe among the patrons of an establishment depending on what there is to drink. Liquor tends to seemingly bring out either the worst in people or the less friendly elements to an establishment, so it was with interest that we noted that Nolan's serves only beer & wine. Nolan's is part of the local community, of course (in that they're not primarily trying to reel in the tourists). But that doesn't mean that tourists aren't welcome because our dollars are the same color as the dollars of the locals, right? We took at a seat at the bar and felt at home right away. The entertainment that night consisted of an Irish troubadour from Georgia, accompanying himself with the acoustic guitar or the bodhrain, singing the traditional Irish bar tunes that most of us know and love and can sing along to, as well as those that we didn't know. But either way, it contributed to that "Irish pub" atmosphere that so many Shamrock Bars tend to miss when they focus too much on the deli corned beef and cabbage along with the techno/hip-hop (????). It would have been very easy to spend a lot more time there than we did. Between watching and observing the family-like atmosphere between the staff and the regulars, as well as casually being chatted up by the regulars seated next to us, to being greeted by the performer of the evening, Nolan's definitely qualifies as a Good Place to Go. The distinct lack of TVs means that entertainment consists of good conversation with the people around you. Pull up a seat, relax, have a beer, and enjoy the company. The way any good Irish pub SHOULD be.

Perfect pints!

This is authentic as it gets! Had a great time tonight! Staff is great and keep on top of things, food was fresh and tasty. Couldn't ask for anything else in an Irish bar! Will come back to visi.

I'm sorry but I just wasn't impressed by the whole experience. Once someone opens the side door and the light comes shining in you see how fast their "authentic" atmosphere disappears. The menu was a joke even for a bar, skimpy sandwiches and extremely limited choices. And $32 for a tee shirt is bit much even for a bar. The entertainment the night we visited was dude named Dave Birks, where did they dig him up from?

I want to echo the last reviewer - this pub is excellent. My only regret is that I was only visiting the area, or else I'd be here every week! Food is delicious!!! I got the shepards pie and it was really good and authentic. My bf got the beef, bacon, and cheddar sandwich. The bread it came on was so addictive. I could've ordered the bread alone. We also ordered a Guinness and the perfect berry cider (not too sweet!). What I really love about this place are the owners and staff. They're such nice people. Theyll make you feel like family instantly. So please visit! P.s. a previous review said they didn't have a tv. When I went they had set up a projector do you could watch the eurocup.

The food at this place is amazing. My husband and I spent our honeymoon in the area and this was by far some of the best food we had. The menu is small but we were led here by the good reviews and my husband and I just love good Irish food. We shared Shepards pie, Guinness beef stew and a Reuben. All 3 meals were amazing but the Reuben was probably our favorite. One of the BEST reubens either of us have ever had. The Shepards pie was done very well and the Guinness stew was hearty, not soupy, like a real stew should be! I also love the atmosphere of this place, it has great character. Although I have never been to Ireland I really felt like I was in an authentic Irish pub. Our waiter, who was also bartender this night, and I'm guessing the owner as well, was really nice and hospitable. This place is a must try if you are in the area. I will definitely be back!

Guiness was great in an authentic pub atmosphere. Good local music and a good mix of locals and travelers. Food was very reasonably priced but they were out of Irish beef stew and Shepard's Pie, both of which I ordered. Since the menu is a one pager with about a dozen options, a was a little disappointed. At least they still had Reuben, which was an 8 out of 10. This is a good pub for the area but I live in the Northeast were pubs are a plenty so I consider this a so so place. I didn't return.
(3)Kelly S.
I didn't feel extremely welcome when I went in. It was about thirty minutes before they closed the kitchen, but about and hour and a half before they closed. The food was okay. I really expected better from an Irish Pub, however, the restaurant itself was very nice. It is a small, intimate setting, but still able to hold alot of people. They have live music, sometimes, and I feel that the owner(s) take alot of pride in their heritage. Good for a little snack, but not ideal for a hang out spot, in my opinion.
(2)M P.
Our book club meet in the cozy living room. Yes you read it right, they have a beautiful bar with a variety of seating choices. Staff was great. Fun Irish bar. More parking in the back, so don't drive away. And put this place on your St Patty's Day things to do. They throw a P_A_R_T_Y!!!
(5)J. A.
Nolan's is a great traditional Irish Pub. You will not find any televisions in this establishment. However, they have live music on a regular basis and the owner's and staff are just great down to earth people. If you are looking for a great place to have a pint and great conversation, Nolan's is the spot.
(5)Heather D.
My new favorite pub in Cocoa Beach! I'll start off by saying that I stopped into Nolans based on fellow Yelper's recommendations and I was not led astray! I'd like to echo the sentiment of another reviewer who mentioned that this is not an obligatory "Irish" pub that is really just a sports bar with a bunch of shamrocks on the wall. Nolans stands out as an exemplary example of what a pub is supposed to look and feel like. Once you walk in you would have no idea that you're in a strip mall - the window's are appropriately covered to give the right atmosphere, there's beautiful dark wood everywhere and there's even a sitting room with chairs surrounding a small fireplace. How cozy! There are thankfully no TV's and on the weekends they have live Irish music - it was amazing ton see so many people laughing and having a good time while not gathered around the boob tube! If I could give extra stars for the friendliness of the staff, owners and patrons - I would in a heartbeat. Everyone was welcoming and ready to chat or share recommendations around anything from local eateries, to working at NASA or upcoming trips to Ireland that are organized by the owners of the pub - talk about authenticity!!! Nolans is on my must go list every time I'm in the area, so stop in - I promise, you will NOT be disappointed!
(5)Ryan K.
After traveling I need a solid tasty meal. I've been here before and it never disappoints. I love the Shepherd's Pie (with Guinness of course)!
(5)David H.
Excellent pints! Wait staff is very attentive. They have trivia night on Tuesday and it is standing room only. Friday and Saturday nights they have live bands and Sunday night is jam night for some excellent local musicians. The food is also great. Try the french dip. It comes on a kind of pretzel dough bun, very tasty. If you are looking for an authentic Irish Pub, here is the place.
(5)Jake W.
Great pub. A+++++ food and great locals very friendly I would highly recommend Nolan's
(5)Byron E.
A great pub with great service and great food.
(4)Ginger W.
Wow. It takes a lot for me to find a new favorite sandwich, but this has officially accomplished the task. The french dip served on pretzel bread is incredible, and the bread perfectly holds up to the drippings. Eaten with a delicious Hoegaarden or perfect Guinness (The Guinness here has a very clean, fresh finish due to the pouring mechanism and technique), it is absolutely wonderful for dinner. For dessert, the chocolate mousse is delicious and airy and the O'Reilly's Irish Cream coffee or hot cocoa is just over the top. We will definitely be back again and again. The whole environment at Nolan's is relaxed and friendly. The owners are usually on-site, which I think adds to a genuine warmth and accountability for every beer poured. This isn't a trendy tourist place, its a place for old and new locals to relax and feel at home.
