Maybe they were having an off night, but I would like the owner / manager to contact me. I am a 700+ loyalty member with over 350 coming from CLERMONT. It is the tale of two bars here: either the service is SPECTACULAR here or the service is the WORST. Sunday, June 21, 2015 Went in, sat at the bar, bartender (red head, didn't look familiar and I did not know her) took a few minutes to get to me - she wasn't busy - but I can get over this. She finally gave me a few samples: one if them had a fly in it. Upon informing her, she did not apologize but said, "...protein group." I ordered a beer and went to the end of the bar where I began working on my computer. After about 30 minutes, the WiFi began going in and out. I asked them to reset it if they could. (If they couldn't, no big deal: still would have been happy) About 25 minutes later (over an hour being there total), another drink was ordered, and 10 wings split (buffalo and rubbed). At 20 minutes the red-headed bartender offered me some napkins and said it wouldn't be much longer. At 30 minutes I tried to wave down the manager (tattooed white guy) and cancel the order. But he was busy with a customer: understandable. At 35 minutes the wings came out delivered by the red head, I let her know that it has been 35 minutes and I was trying to cancel the order. She said ok, took the wings and put them in front of the manager and asked, "do you want some wings?" Five minutes later, the manager came to me with my tab and said, "I don't care what you have to say. Pay your tab and get the fuck out, we don't want you here. You are a Fucking princess.... It didn't take 35 minutes, it took 25 minutes for your wings to come out." I tried to respond twice but that didn't go anywhere. I finally said, "speaking to you isn't going anywhere and you continue to attack me. I will pay the tab and leave." I wanted to ask for the owner and managers contact info; however, I had the feeling it would have led to more of him cursing and rudeness. Either way, 35 or 25 minutes for wings is way too long for a 7 minute appetizer (some communication at 14 minutes would have been nice). The manager on duty, should have been on top of that. This is inexcusable. The manager on duties comments at the end were ridiculous and uncalled for: extremely unprofessional. The red headed bartender could use some more training: the fly could have been solved with a simple "my bad" or "oops," not joking about it after getting to me slowly. On the bright side, she was nice once she got into her groove. I have been here many times, typically with a medium sized group on Fridays. This is the second major customer service issue I have been involved in within this WOB, both are under the same management: the other issue was solved and taken care of. It involved a few people. This night, I was by myself and just wanted to do some work.

This is a really great WOB in Clermont, right off of Highway 27. It is a bit smaller than others that I have been to, but they have a nice outdoor seating area. The food is pretty good and equivalent to other locations I have tried. Just like other WOB's, they have tap takeovers and member specials. Not the closest to me, but definitely worth the trip.

Great beer selection. Too bad the bartenders are tools that wouldn't speak to you in high school because they were the "cool" jocks. Tonight the two bartenders were too concerned with talking to each other and a friend, than actually talking to their patrons. Wouldn't recommend this place for product knowledge or service.

How can you go wrong with 50 on tap and 500 bottle/cans. It's a Hop Heads Heaven. It's Yeasty Nirvana. It's Malt Mecca. It's Beer! It's BEER. IT'S BEER!!!!!!!

I had read about World of Beer and I decided the next time I had a chance to go to one I would do it since we don't have them in Iowa. So since I was staying with family in Winter Garden (about 10 minutes away) I took a chance and stopped by. I really like the location here. The inside is actually pretty small but since it's in Florida where they have nice weather year round the windows to the patio area slide away thus you have one large indoor/outdoor area. Really cool. Plenty of TVs to look at for those who need distractions. They have a food menu but we had just came from the Disney area that day and had already eaten. The beer selection though... That's where this place stands out (duh it's called World of Beer). They had about 30 or so taps on the wall and probably eight or more coolers all packed full of different bottles. Personally I am a draft guy so I wish they would have had more on tap but oh well. I believe they have some kind of loyalty program where you get prizes and such by drinking certain amounts of beer over time. I didn't sign up since I don't have regular access to WoB but if I did I would do it in a heart beat. Seriously, this looks like a great place to hit up if you are a craft beer guy like myself and you are in the eastern Orlando area. When I come back down in a year or two to visit family again I know this will be a spot I hit up.

Being quite the beer enthusiast I was fairly disappointed when I moved to Central Florida from Metro Detroit. The lack of really great beer bars was quite shocking to me. However, after running into a fellow ex-Michigander I was told I HAD to try World of Beer. I'm so incredibly happy that I did. First of all, they have Bell's Two Hearted AND Oberon so big plus in my book. And now that it's fall they've been getting a lot of really great seasonal beers as well that are always worth trying. I always ask what new seasonal beers they have because most of the time they're really good. My boyfriend and I also joined their loyalty club, which is totally worth the $15 you have to pay to join. One of the bartenders there told us everything we needed to know and more about the program so we were instantly sold. You earn points every time you go and I especially like the fact that the app keeps a list of all the beers you have tried. You can also write tasting notes if you like. The only thing I wish I could change about this place is the fact that they don't have any beers from my favorite brewery, which is Short's. If they carried Short's Soft Parade I would be at World of Beer everyday!

The staff is pretty good as long as their isn't an event for the beer club. You seem to be forgotten at times during those events. The selection is pretty good. Sadly due to the horrible FL laws the choice of beers is semi limited. Nice place for a quick drink. As far as going to watch a game go else where. The tvs are to high up for a comfortable viewing position and the DJ or bands come first even durning finals of some sports.

This place is pretty cool if you are looking to just chill. They have a huge selection of beer and ciders. The bar area was nice and clean, but it was kinda chilly inside. If the weather is nice, you can also enjoy sitting outside in their covered patio area. They don't have a food menu yet, but it should be coming soon.

When you think World of Beer, what comes to mind? Tons of beers in one place? Or beers from all over the world? Tons of different types from light to dark to craft? Surprise, how about all of the above?! That's right, I went there. They've got about 40-40 taps including root beer, straight up non alcoholic root beer draught. It's amazing. They also have 7 coolers full of bottles and cans. In the cases they have country specific beer, such as Germany, Austria, the UK. They also have light bites if you need food while sampling. Typical bar food that can be thrown in a deep fryer. There not a whole lot of room inside but they have an expansive patio. What I love here is that they do mixed draught pints. Believe it or not they have delicious combinations! I recommend the wheat/pear cider/raspberry lambic combo. This is a great place to pretty much try anything and everything. The bartenders aren't too bad if you have their attention. They'll help you pick out something you might like, and let you try a few things. But getting their attention after the fact is a little hit or miss, especially if the regulars drop by. There's a few Tvs inside and out, but not always at the best angles. But this is a great stop outside Orlando if you're out and about in the area. Especially if you're interested in trying to find a certain beer or a new beer!

Lots of beers, and they swap their tap selection regularly. Cool wall in the back with all their unused tap pulls! I've been here a couple of times and gotten flights or beers with friends. I've never had stellar service, but I suppose it is about as good as most bars. Prices are a little on the steep side ($6 for a pint is on the cheap side).

As Amber M. pointed out, Central Florida is severely deprived of good beer bars! We're from Michigan, which has EXPLODED with craft beers and beer bars in the last ten years, and it is a great shock to not see anything like that down here. Enter World Of Beer! This place, while not quite on par with my faves back home, certainly does fill a void when looking for great selection, knowledgable staff, and friendly conversation. The rumor(I haven't seen it yet!) that they're getting a kitchen with small bites will certainly raise it's status in my book. We've gone here a handful of times in the last few weeks, and we've only had 1 bartender( I wish they wore name tags) that seemed a little pushy when it came to ordering. I get it that you want to sell me beer, but I will come to you when I want another one! However, that one experience is not enough to keep me away. Everyone else there I've talked to is super friendly, very knowledgable, and just a good time to hang out with. Monday night trivia is a blast, and having the iphone app is great too. I can imagine being a fan of this place for a long time!

This is absolutely one of my favorite bars in the Orlando area. They have an excellent selection of beers and ciders. They also serve wine if you are going with a non beer drinker. The servers and wonderful and nice. Seats (at the bar especially) are very comfortable. There was a time not long ago, that I was not a huge beer fan. I would drink a Bud Light every now and then, but nothing too adventurous. After a few months of visiting WOB I am on my way to being a connoisseur. If you think this is a place you will visit multiple times, drop the little bit of money for the loyalty club. There are T-shirts, mugs, Polo's, placks and parties to be earned. Lastly, download the app. It is a great way to explore all of the different beers that they have.

Beer lovers unite! They have a vast selection of craft and import brews along with the American standards. Their loyalty program is great too. They don't serve food but have a great option. They have made arrangements with all of the restaurants in the shopping center to deliver. Just ask your server for the book of menus to check your options. They had live music but it was not that great. They also had a bean bag game for anyone to enjoy just outside the patio area. The staff is very friendly and very knowledgable on all of the beers.

I'm going to tell you all you need to know about WOB. 1) They serve beer. Nothing but beer. You want a shot? Guess what, it's a shot of beer. And as the name suggests, they have beer from ALL over the world. The German beer will kick your ass. 2) They do not serve food. But you can order delivery from a list of local restaurants. Save yourself the money and awkward glances and just eat before you come. This place is meant for drankin, not eatin. 3) It is expensive. This is no poor mans dive. This is an upscale beer drinking shit show. It is the Macy's Beer Parade. Drink your fancy beer, don't complain about the prices, and feel classy almost immediately.

Outstanding beers and ciders. Wished they served food. I also wished that they were a little speedier than they are. But the variety and quality of the beer is incredible. Well worth waiting for! Try something new!
