Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Good food we eat here often and I have never had a problem. Food is good the staff is friendly. If you go on Mondays they have $.50 wings and $5 pitchers of beer. What a deal!

Moved to Groveland in 2001 and have been dining in and taking out ever since. Their signature salad is always fresh. Pizza is not New York style, it is their own style. Delicious, buttery crust with perfect sauce and toppings. Want Veal Parm w/spaghetti is to die for. And the gyro platter is amazing. All the appetizers are great ( Not greasy). Great service through the years. I don't even know the owners or staff over the years. That should speak for itself.

I had a the Deluxe Pizza and I think the dough was the same they use for the Windy City Pizza because it was very bready... What I mean is the dough tasted more like bread and lacked flavor. I also didn't care for the pizza cut into squares, thats only done for very thin crust pizza and this was anything but thin crust. Will give this another shot but probably going to stick with a Gyro. Somebody had one on their table that looked quite tasty.. The ambiance was like I was shot back to 85'. Just because your a Mom & Pop doesn't mean you just put tables, chairs and red checkered table clothes. It's 2015... BTW, the prices on your website differ from the menu prices you have at the location.

Windy City pizza tastes just like Chicago. Chicken parm was a little bland. But all in all I will be back. Cute little Italian spot. Friendly service.

My two kids had cheese pizza and I had the much bragged about Chicken Parm. We all shared a" greek" salad. The salad was good and really generous portion but I don't see why it's called "greek". Nothing greek about it except for some feta. The sauce for the Chicken Parm was flavorless and seemed overcooked The breaded chicken seemed from frozen not fresh. The portions are generous though. My kids liked the cheese pizza but I thought it lacked flavor. Same sauce as the chicken parm. If your gonna go, go for the "Greek" salad. That's it.

Plan to wait for your food. We waited more than a half an hour for 2 sandwiches and one sandwich was not prepared as ordered, and no, the place was not busy. It is also difficult to find your waitress when you need something. The food is ok, but not worth the wait.

Since we moved to Clermont in July we have gone to Spiros once a week and never had a bad meal.. The food is delicious.. The Eggplant Parm is amazing..their burgers are the best- hand packed burger with a great roll... salads are huge and delish and the best hand made desserts....Love this place!!!!

Went back to try it again....and the pizza was horrible. Really bad....almost like a pre-fab pizza crust and not enough toppings. They treat their regulars a lot better than the ones who come once in a while....sad. Don't understand why they are crowded all the time....I guess the regulars getting better service...

Not good. We ordered the mozzarella sticks and they were all hollow without any cheese in them! The outside was bland without any spices. Not good. The marinara sauce was flavorless. We also ordered a pizza that was again topped with the flavorless marinara and flavorless cheese. The crust was Greek style, my least favorite type of crust as it is also flavorless. The toppings were sparse and I am not a fan of pizza cut in rectangles. The only thing we ordered that tasted good was the soda. Wouldn't order from them again. The service was good though and delivery was prompt, even with a call before they left with the food.

On our first visit we were impressed with the food and service enough to go back for lunch a few days later. We were the only patrons, and had to listen to the owner in the back cussing out his staff, using the F word repeatedly. Nobody came back to refill our drinks. Eventually the owner came out, and I told him that if I took my wife to a bar, I might expect that kind of language, but not at a family restaurant. He apologiized, and then went into a lenhthy discussion about how good help is hard to find and how his employees don't appreciate him, and how he is working 6 days a week and how much it sucks.

First off, this isn't a fancy chain restaurant but it is a family-owned pizzeria in a tiny strip mall. You might say that it is a bit of a dive, until you try the food. The waiters and waitresses are always friendly and informative. My husband loved the Pasta Fagioli - he says it is the closest replacement to his late Grandmother's soup. The pizza is on a heavy crust with corn meal. They also have a gluten free crust and conversely a Windy City Deep Dish. Their meaty pizza is the bomb and they use way too much cheese which is a good thing. Their sauce is almost a little too sweet, but still very good. It is cut in small squares as opposed to triangles. They also have an ad for their flourless chocolate torte, but I ran out of space way before dessert. It's not super fancy, you'll find cuts in the Naugahyde bench seats and it's a little dingy, but they dump a lot of cheese on their pizza and that makes everything else okay. I see people rave over their gyros but I've never tried one.

This place has the worst food, you can not call this pizza, I feel sick when I eat here. The only reason they get a star is because there very cheap if your looking to save money

Surprising on how this place has reviews on both sides of the spectrum. So, I decided to see for myself how this place was for myself. It is your typical strip mall pizza place. Cuter than most on the inside. The service was a little slow. Took a while to get our drink and food order and the place was not really busy. The server was friendly though. I started with the garlic bread. Just Ok, nothing special, not enough garlic for me. We ordered the belly buster pizza. The pizza was so so, but the sauce had a bit too much sweetness to it. The crust was not crispy enough and the slices flopped over and dropped all the toppings. I had to eat it with a fork and knife. The toppings were good tasting except for the ground beef which had like a sweet Cinnamon taste to it. Over all, not very impressed. I will have to try again and not order the pizza and see how that goes.

This restaurant was a pain to get to but when we got there the atmosphere was ok. The staff was nice and friendly. To me it was more of a Greek Restaurant than a Pizza Place Me and my boyfriend ordered the Garlic Bread, it was ok but it could of had more garlic on it. It just tasted like toasted bread with butter. We ordered the Bell Buster Pizza. The toppings were great but I didn't like the crust. The bottom was too soggy, so soggy that, I can't believe I'm admitting it, I had to eat the pizza with a fork. I don't think I will go back for the pizza but I saw a couple of orders came out for lasagna and a Greek salad I wouldn't mind trying.

Been coming to Spiros for almost 20 years. Even though there has been different owners, the core menu has remained the same. That is good, because they've done it right. Good fresh portions. Reasonable prices. My fav is chicken parm and greek salad. Pizzas good too. Can be loud when full.

Ok, the Greek Salad was more then enough for 4 people. House dressing wasnt too tangy and just right. Ordered the Meat Lovers Pizza (large) and four of us couldnt eat it all...but, it was just right. Best Pizza I have had in a while....carry out. When I come back....it is Spiros, forget PAPA Johns and Dominos ( etc.), doesnt compare...pay the extra.

I've been here many times before whether with friend or family, and I always seem to get something hot, fresh and delicious. Their salads are amazing and there is always some left overs to take with you if you get the large. The gyro platter is very filling, and their pizza's are phenomenal! The only downside is sometimes it can be a little wait time, but as long as you plan ahead and have some time to kill, this place is where it's at!

After several disappointing visits, we gave up on this place for several months. Hoping for an improvement or at least a return to fairly decent offerings of the past, we tried it again this week. The single star says it all. Service and food delivery here is as slow as ever and our meals were truly terrible. But the worst thing was that my husband and I both became very ill right after eating here. We certainly won't be back to be tortured again.

We have only lived in Clermont for a short while and are still trying out different restaurants to see which will become our favorites. When we first tried Spiros we were out running errands and decided to stop in for lunch. It's just a little place and doesn't look like much from the outside but I am really glad that we stopped in! We had the baked lasagne served with some of the VERY BEST garlic toast I think I've ever had. Although the ambiance could use a little help the food is great and we have been regular patrons since that time and now call it "our favorite little Italian place".
