Great custard and amazing service. I have no idea how they get so many people's orders done so quickly. We tried Culver's and we're sticking with Ritter's.

This place has some yummy frozen custard. The shop is kinda small and so there is not much seating to enjoy your treat in the AC. There is some outdoor seating, but it's hard to eat your frozen custard fast enough in July outside. They scoop the custard out of bins - ice cream style. So I'm not sure if it's made fresh in the store or shipped in. But until recently it has been the only place in town to find some of this delicious midwest treat. It's yummy, but since Culver's opened I'll likely opt for their fresh flavor of the day and enjoy their full menu instead.

My boyfriend was apparently a closet Ritter's fan from his Indiana living days. The second he found out that Ritter's had a location within driving distance we were there. I'm not a huge sweets girl but the frozen custard is pretty great. My boyfriend got a glacier, and although upset because they didn't serve it to him upside down, it was quite tasty. I'm sure I'll be back, his craving was barely satisfied... He will drag me back time and time again and I'm ok with that.

I hope heaven smells like the inside of Ritters. (If it doesn't then I will file a complaint with the main office.) I come here usually once a month or more depending on whether someone is having a birthday... or graduation... or anniversary... or half-birthday (you get the idea). The custard flavors vary with the regular chocolate, vanilla, SF vanilla being the constants. The prices are reasonable and if you sign up for their email club you receive coupons, offers and notifications of new flavors. The service is always super friendly and very efficient. It's always a treat to come here!

Our kids steered us to this place, located at one end of a small strip mall. Awesome homemade frozen custard! I had a scoop of Key lime cheesecake and a scoop of coconut, and they were both absolutely delicious. You can see how creamy and smooth the ice cream is just by looking at it in the case. Ritter's also offers Italian ice, sundaes, ice cream cakes and various other ice cream treats. The interior is a little snug, but there's outdoor seating available. The cost was very reasonable for premium frozen treats.

I tried a special flavor which a local cuban woman had asked the owners of they made. They did not and she provided them with the recipe and they created it and it was DELICIOUS! I've ordered it a few times. You can also special order flavors that they have had in the past and can order them to be sugar-free!! Must try if you have not yet!

Yum. I tried this cool flavor Spicy chocolate, very good. The service is always cheerful. This is the go to place for ice cream. The shakes are amazing too. They serve them upside down because they are so thick.

OK, it's more than a bit of a drive to get here, but, really, it's mos def worth it. They also serve Italian ice which the owner most graciously gave our party a generous sample of. It's just as dreamy!
