This place is amazing! Everything here is really good and, by the way, all home cooked. Every dish here is completely homemade and is excellent with reasonable prices. The pies look amazing and taste amazing. That's the really good part of the meal. The service is exceptional and fast as well. Overall, this is a great place that I recommend going to!

I've been "grilled" to perfection! If your hankering for a belly pleasing meal and you'd like to get it for a steal...French cakes, pot pie, Turkey Ruebens it's all there for your choosins! Pitchers of beer, carafes of wine followed by desserts that get you feeling oh so fine...so pack yourself up and jump in the car for the greatest food and service both near or far!

I went there on Father's Day for brunch and I was really impressed. Usually on Father's Day, the restaurants are noisy and overcrowded but not Sunset Grill. My wife made a reservation and when we arrived, not only was our table ready but we had a choice to sit by the window so we did. The buffet had the usual brunch fare like scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and potatoes. They also served crepes, honey salmon, eggs Benedict, and risotto. There was hardly any wait for the omelet station and the chef was really friendly. He told me he had something special for me and then offered me sliced prime rib. I also had the smoked salmon, which was prepared Scottish style with capers and cream cheese. There was plenty of cubed cheese, sliced fruit and fruit kabobs, danish, a salad bar, a chocolate fountain with plenty of things to dip in it, cheese cake, and more. To top it off, they gave each adult in the party two mimosas or glasses of champagne, and coffee or hot tea. All this for $17.99 (or $8.99 for kids). The window overlooked the beach. While I was looking out the window, I spotted a pod of porpoises. Really cool. The place is very friendly and the bathrooms are clean. I gave it 4 stars because it could have been a little more cleaner but as for food and value, definitely two thumbs up. I will be going back.

Great waitress service and great owners. if you like the typical diner experience you will love Sunset Grill. they keep the refills of iced tea, or coffie coming you don't have to beg and they are very attentive to your needs. ALL the girls there are fabulous! my only pet peeve is I wish some of the dishes were tuned a little bit more to the American breakfast/lunch taste. the french toast for instance is done with the great Texas toast, but a little bland to me? I would like them to use more egg and Cinamon in the batter and dunk the toast a little harder before grilling, but again that is just me? as noted by others the portions can be large on many items, I would like to see maybe a menu with small portions for those lite eaters, but other than the above I love visiting the girls at Sunset. the owner makes many of her own pies and cakes in house and they are pretty darn nice. she is really a hoot as well. will return to this place often!!!

This place is delicious! It is very reasonably priced but has high quality food. It has the home-y feel of a diner but an upscale presentation when the food comes out. Buffalo chicken wrap, gyro, greek sala, stuffed tilapia and prime rib have all been absolutely delicious.

Great place for breakfast. It's served until 2pm. Went here on vacation and woke up late. We were able to still eat breakfast! Chicken fried steak is great!

I was pleasantly surprised when a friend suggested we stop here for lunch. I have driven past it many times and it looks like it got an exterior face lift recently. Sunset Grill is a homey diner and the food is quite good. My gyro was large and stuffed full of meat. It was sliced a little thicker than normal, but the taste was good. Their fries were super crispy which is how I like them. My friend goes just for the salad which was a huge portion for the price and did look delicious. Our waitress was very friendly. Most of the people who frequent it are from the near by On Top of the World so expect an older crowd. Sunset Grill is far better than other nearby diner types though and I look forward to returning for another casual lunch. But as a warning I would stay away from the Key Lime Pie. They have some displayed in the case by the cashier and it was grey. Not exactly how I like my pie.
