Save your money! Go to guppys on the beach. The food was bland and generic. None of the food had any flavor. Our utensils and glasses were dirty with dried food on them. Red lobster is kinda pricey for really cheap tasting food. For the price ,you could go somewhere nice. It tasted like Golden Corral, but instead of going through the line, they bring you the food. Save your money!

Service sucked we walked in and the hostesses were ignoring us to carry on with their conversation. It took over 5 minutes for the waitress to come take our drink orders and it took again over 5 minutes for me to get a water with lemon and my bf a beer. Biscuits were good but not fresh. The waitress was not very tentative. She did not ask if my bf wanted another drink when he was finished with his . and the salmon was not cooked right when we received our dinner my shrimp was also warm like it was sitting for a while. It took the waitress 10 minutes to realize the salmon plate was at the end of the table and wen the manager came to confront us about the dinner he kept making excuses. I will not be returning back to this location....

I am rating red lobster in clearwater based on the service. The poor service started with the greeter making many people wait when there were empty tables everywhere. Then when you are waiting at the bar they can't transfer your bar bill to the table?.. Then I get a glass with a big crack and the waitress wouldn't touch it. We waited and waited then took it to the bar to get a replacement then had to wait for the manager to come over, not with replacement just to check my story.?.. The place has a funky smell but the food is ok. Too many other good resturants to go to a place with bad service.

Best part about red lobster anymore are the biscuits.. For some reason all red lobster seem to be kind of going downhill I remember back in the day where that was one of the best places to eat at this location is nice and clean friendly staff but it just seems like the food is so so

I have been dreaming about eating at Red Lobster since I heard about the Endless Shrimp promotion. I was looking forward to tasting hand breaded Shrimp and the new Habanero shrimp bites. And my wife was ready to try the Shrimp Scampi. We arrived at 4:54 pm on Sunday the 13th of September. We were promptly seated by Bob a 33 year employee at Red Lobster. At 5:22 pm, we had no interaction or acknowledgement from the wait staff. At this point, I declared this experience ruined by ENDLESS STUPIDITY!!!!!!! we attempted to find someone to help, but were completely ignored. We decided to go to Cody's (located in the same parking lot). WOW! What a great experience. We were seated and had drinks in less than five minutes. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable dinner. I will never know if Red Lobster has good food, because I will not be coming back.

We stopped by for lunch. By 11:30, it was rather busy. We were instantly seated and asked for our drink order. We didn't want anything too fancy so we both ordered the Fish and Chips with the up-charge for a side salad. It is the same portion size as dinner but the salad is extra. The total was still below the dinner price. Speaking of portion size, it was huge, crispy, perfectly cooked and piping hot. The service was friendly and speedy. Our waiter (Bill) kept the biscuits coming and our iced teas replenished. The manager stopped by to asked about our meal. Overall, we had a better than expected luncheon. If you're over by Countryside Mall, don't forget that they're located just on the other side of US 19 and stop by.

The food I can't complain and nevertheless the waiters service. We were a group of 12 people w/ kids, meaning we were the ones waiters avoided lol. Seating was pretty fast for a Saturday evening and the appetizer came rather quickly. I didn't like the fried calamari (salty the most). On the other hand, me and wifey got the lobster and shrimp and they were excellent. In summary, expect really nice people and really good food for a nice price.

To start with, our servers says "you will never have to wait on me". The nutshell, over 10 minutes just for the the check. Then forgot about their foods. I have they call shrimp fest. I ordered coconut shrimp, tampura and shrimp pasta. Have you ever eat shrimp taste like been dead for 3 weeks before you cook it? That is what you can get from here. This will be the last time I am here

Gotta love that bread!!! It'd be 5 starts but there's always a wait. Maybe crappy of me to dock a star for that but it is what it is. I only ever have the soups but I love the clam chowder. :)

Always great customer service at this location! The waiter/waitress brings out their biscuits quickly and keeps our drinks full. They have awesome shrimp and salmon dishes. Can't say I'm a lobster fan for someone who is going to Red "Lobster", but all the dishes I've had from here have been pretty good.

This is a typical Red Lobster chain restaurant -- maybe a bit better than some. The decor is the typical cheesy faux New England fisherman style... Nothing worth discussing. The food, however, always seems to be pretty good. The Cheddar Bake biscuits are amazing. The soups are good, and the salads are... well, salads. The seafood entrees are pretty good, and generous in size. Service is always on the better side of average. I would have gone 3 stars except for the new 4 course for $14.99 menu. You get soup, salad, entree and dessert. The choices are limited, but it makes for a very good value. I always leave stuffed and satisfied.

We enjoyed dinner out with our friends. But there's nothing much you can say about this chain that would surprise anyone. It's Red Lobster, they have the absolute best cheddar bay biscuits, but other than that, it's "sea food". It really is nothing special. I had one of their Hurricane drinks and it didn't even taste like it had any alcohol at all. They do tend to run some decent specials, like their 2 for $25 or their 4 courses for $15.99.

1/27/13 Stopped by with family for a meal for 5. I had the Cajun chicken linguini Alfredo which just sounds like the strangest mashup of cuisines one could cook up, but it turned pretty well. Normally I find Alfredo sauce a bit too rich and bland for my taste, but the cajun spiced chicken provided just the amount of kick required. The others had tilapia w roasted veggies and rice in a white wine sauce and pork chops with a peach compote. Still ok meals with no complaints. 1/4/12 Two words: cheddar biscuits. You know what I'm talking about. When they come out hot they can redeem almost any meal at a Red Lobster. I've eaten at this Red Lobster twice in the past 4 months. Some family members love it and drag me here, I've got mixed feelings about it. With so many excellent seafood restaurants in the area serving a large variety of fresh fish daily, it's hard to get excited about a menu that has only a few fresh offerings. That said, Red Lobster has the national seafood chain execution down, and I doubt anyone could do a better job of consistency in so many locations. And that's no small thing if you're living in the midwest or other locations far away from the coasts with few other fresh options. But since we have those options here, that's what I'm comparing it to. Atmosphere here is standard Red Lobster, and this location's interior looks fairly new and well-cared for. Service both times was good to excellent, with consistent visits from the waitstaff to see if they could get us anything. My first visit was during the Endless Shrimp special, and I had a chance to try all 4 types of shrimp offered. Two were good, the other two were average. On my second visit I had the flounder stuffed with crab/seafood, and it was ok, but not exceptional as it wasn't fresh. I also had the lobster bisque on one visit and it was very good. Value for both meals was ok, but again, for a comparable price I'd rather eat fresh seafood at a locally owned restaurant. And that leaves only the cheddar biscuits, which if they arrive hot straight from the oven must come from heaven's own bakery. On my first visit they arrived hot, and on the second visit were barely warm. All in all, both were ok meals. Nothing to get too excited about, but no great disappointments or failures either. On my local seafood restaurant scale, I score it: Atmosphere: 4 Service: 4 Food: 3 Value: 3

Went there for dinner on Sat, the service was slow and impersonal. Did not get our bread until our food came. Ordered the 4 course meal, but he brought out the soup and salad at the same time. The clam chowder didn't have clams. Had to wait on getting drink refills, and more bread.

Terrible on every level. Food was mediocre at best, service was terrible. Had to get up 4 times to fetch the waitress (I was nice about it, not bitchy) because she never brought out drinks, appetizers, silverware, I actually had to tap her on the shoulder while she was in the server's station adjacent to the kitchen. Every time we go there it's bad service, loud, filthy surroundings and I feel like they don't care at all. The one that was in Largo was just as bad.

I have to admit, but I am a Red Lobster junkie! I always seek out Red Lobster when I travel and went to dinner at this location on May 3rd. The menu is always plentiful, but I asked for them to create a Ceasar with lobster meat which was not on the menu and they DID. We also ordered the shrimp nachos which took close to 30 minutes. The restaurant manager jumped all over it and took the 8.99 off the bill. I thought it was a nice touch for a night where the service was a little below average.

I remember going to Red Lobster, an upscale franchaised restaurant in Japan when I was a child. Quite the contrary, I found out Red Lobster here is just another chain restaurant. Everything on their menu sounds so tempting but they turn out to be empty boxes. Yes this is a seafood restaurant but you don't see much seafood going on your plate unfortunately. I ordered Lobeter Nacho, Shrimp Alfredo pasta...nothing special about them. The service was just okay too. Yes chain restaurants are usually mediocre but seeing how Bonefish Grill is, Red Lobster really needs to step up and make a difference to survive.
