Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

The pizza was crisp and flavorful. The cheese was a little greasy. The large pizza was $9.99 but was a 14" size. Back home or anywhere else we call that a small or medium. Large is always 16". The owner is very personable and delivers the food himself. I recommend this spot for NY style pizza.

This was so convenient to my hotel--and so tasty--that I went more than once during my trip. I had a few different salads, falafel, the eggplant Parmesan sub, and of course their delicious pizza! As several other reviewers mentioned, the owners and staff are very nice. They do get busy sometimes, but if I called in an order, it was ready on time. I've eaten falafel everywhere and I absolutely loved the way they prepared it. There were other places nearby but I kept coming back here.

We went here last night and the food was great and very reasonably priced (especially for the beach)! We got a large pizza and the sauce was fantastic (a little sweet and the perfect amount) and the ingredients were fresh. The service was friendly and quick. The only recommendation would be to clean it up a bit and get a high chair for the little ones :-) We will definitely go again!

I don't often like to write "needs improvement" reviews, but this place needs it. My wife and I wanted a simple pizza and wing dinner on a Saturday night. Thankfully, we went in for takeout, because they often don't answer their phone. Takeout took more than an hour and I got to watch how ineffective the kitchen was. On the positive note, the son had the most potential to run this kitchen as seemed like he cared the most. The mother needs help up front and can't go storming off when it gets too busy. Getting the pizzas fired took a really long time, but that could just be the capacity of their double pizza oven. Pizza was pretty good and wings were fairly big and tasty. They just need to work on a few kitchen improvements to get this to a 4-4.5.

It was late, we've already had a few and we were on vacation! My husband and I found this place a few blocks behind our hotel and I was drawn in by the sign for New York style pizza. It was already 11:30pm on a weds night and they were still open! We stopped in for a pepperoni pizza and it was absolutely scrumptious. It might have been the booze talking, but I still give this seemingly sketchy place a two thumbs up!

Spent a night in at the hotel & wanted pizza. We saw ads in the room & after checking yelp reviews, decided to try. Pizza was delicious!!!! Got pep & mush, well done. It was delivered right to my room door. I give it 2 thumbs up!!!!!

This is the absolute best pizza! Little Caesars is up home and nostalgic, but this pizza beat the pants off that crap! 10 days later, were watching, " O is the new Black" reminiscing about King's delicious 9.5 out of 10 pepperoni pizza. lt was a privilege to taste this little diamond amongst the coals!! Service quick, and servers handsome.mmmmm mmmm mmm

This place is pretty divey. It is very small with two tables. When multiple people are waiting to order, you have to stand outside and then shuffle around people just to order, and good luck finding a place to sit down. Fortunately it was late so there was a table outside. I can say without hesitation that the place was dirty as you can see ever inch of the kitchen from the cash register. My guess is that these people make their living off of hotel deliveries. I can't imagine that locals would eat at a place like this. My advice would be to skip this place and find a pizza joint where the locals go. So far I haven't found a good spot yet in Clearwater as I'm only here for a week. As far as the pizza was concerned, it was greasy and just ok. It tasted quite a bit like a frozen pizza. It was edible but by no means was it a good pie.

To be fair, we are from the NY/PA area, so our pizza tastes follow. We had a plain cheese pie, mozzarella sticks, and a fried chicken sandwich. The pizza was mediocre. Crust and cheese good but it was very dry, definitely needed some more sauce. Mozz n sandwich good for late night delivery.

I came in here for some quick late night food. Very cozy inside. A few small tables and chairs, which is all you need for this kind of place. I saw that they have free delivery, which is real nice as well. Used a coupon for an extra large pizza with two toppings & large salad for $22. Perfect for a group of four. The pizza was satisfying, ordered bacon & mushroom. The bacon was different than what I was expecting, but still tasted like bacon. The mushrooms appeared to be fresh, not canned, which was really nice. The salad was basic iceburg lettuce. Came with sliced tomatoes and onions, which was a change for me to see. The onions were in quite large pieces. Also came with dressing. I think my favorite thing about this place is it's somewhere to come in fairly quick and get food that isn't McDonald's or a packed restaurant.

This place was right across the street from the hotel we were staying at so we decided to give it a shot. We got a large Veggie to go and we were very pleasantly surprised. The crust and tomatoes were especially tasty. We will definitely be back next time we are nearby. There aren't too many tables if you dine in.

I really enjoyed my visit to King's. The staff was friendly and the food was perfect. We chose the place because it was open late and within walking distance of our motel. Make the most of the place and sit outside on the patio. Yes, it's a dive, but my family made some great memories over a pizza. I'd put it on my list if I were to visit the Tampa Bay Area again.

We were staying in the area and my kids wanted pizza...this place was nearby, so we tried it out! We walked in and ordered right away, the staff was very friendly! Less than 20min. later our order was ready and we carried it back to our hotel. When we got to our room it was still fresh and hot...we ordered 3 pizzas and garlic bread with cheese...they were yummy. The place is small and kind of off the main beach strip, but worth going to if you are in the mood for pizza!

Seriously delicious! These guys are Sicilian and they aren't messing around. They use high quality ingredients and you can tell they care about what they are putting out, this isn't crappy beach pizza for drunks. I just got back from Italy a few months ago and this was better than a lot of pizza I had there, husband said it was possibly the best pizza he ever had. Totally lucked out this place was right across the street from the Hyatt (also amazing) only bummed we didn't eat it until the last night! Do yourself a favor and eat some if you are in the area, highly recommend the Toscana!
