My wife and I ate here for lunch today. I ordered a BLT... Nothing too fancy but it's what I wanted. She ordered a Strawberry Spring Salad... She loved it! As we were leaving I noticed a lot of people ordered breakfast... I think we will be back to try that out. It's a assoc joint with lots of options from comfort food to options that are unique. Solid restaurant!

We have been past here time and time again. We decided to stop in for a late breakfast today. Great value. We got a lot of food for a little change. Quality? Just ok. We still enjoyed our brunch. We will give them another try!

Up one star because their breakfast was bangin. At least the house omelette with sliced tomatoes was and I will be going back to try more items. The omelette was perfectly cooked and fluffy and the tomatoes were deep ruby red and delicious. He had a Gyro and said it was good. The best part? It's cheap as all hell! Two iced teas and two meals for 19 bucks? Yeah, I'm bout that

I went for lunch and tried a chicken cordon panini which isn't something I would normally try, but it was one of their specials. I found it to be delicious. I went back for breakfast a few days later and tried a variety of things, all very good. The atmosphere is pretty typical low budget restaurant style. It seems like a good place to eat with the family, especially if you're on a budget. The wait staff was fast and efficient. This is good food for the price.

Having the garden omelette this time- the pumpkin pancakes last week I don't like at all- more like a cake and way to sweet. Hope the garden omelette is good.

I've never tried their breakfast menu, but since I work close by I stop in for lunch occasionally. The service is fast and friendly, but I usually just get take out and bring it back to the office. The sandwiches are really good, especially the burgers and patty melt! Mostly every lunch item comes with a cup of homemade soup and a pickle spear, which are a great touch to the tasty sandwiches. The food is very reasonably priced, generally around $5-$7 for sandwich, soup and pickle. I highly recommend stopping by this family owned dinner for breakfast or lunch

Well the breakfast was really good but the server Jeanette was awful. Sausage links great quality which is hard to find. Hashbrowns perfect. No one ever makes them crispy even if I ask. Now the server on the other hand... my food comes with hair in it. I tell her, she whips out her glasses like I'm lying then sighs "uhhhh do you need me to get another one?" That should be principle. No questions asked. My friend who was a hair dresser said hair is so nasty and never trust it. And I work at a hospital so I know not everyone is clean. But I actually just ate it because clearly it was such a hassle. I mean really, I gotta eat it and pay for it but the server can't even have the decency to give me a new plate because it's inconvenience to her?? I knew she wouldn't check on us after and then dropped the check. And you know how most places when you go to the counter and pay, and u know it's the owners checking you out.. you expect a how was it?? I thought they should know the service but They didn't ask. So I kept my mouth shut and saved it for yelp. Food was good, might go back but steer clear of Jeanette she only cares about herself. Oh and clean out your order pad too you look a little disorganized and cluttered. Nothing like a stack of beat up old papers falling out

I had an omelet and thought it was kinda heavy instead of fluffy like an omelet should be. My guest had pancakes and she said that they were the corn based kind which neither one of us like or expected. It wasn't terrible fare, just not good enough for me to want to come back and try anything else.
of course the breakfast and lunch are terrific, but you should make it a point to go on Friday's for the Seafood Pot Pie. Huge scallops and shrimp, crabmeat and a yummy sauce with the tastiest crust, and a good portion. It's shaped kinda like a football, and the flavor is a real touchdown. The homemade soups are fantastic. The staff are very pleasant and professional. You'll want for nothing, they are very prompt helpful and courteous. Prices are great also.

I've drove and ridden by this place dozens of times. I've eaten everywhere in walking and bike riding distance except for Georgie Boy, and figured I'd give it a try. First things first, you walk into a very clean dining room with clean, mustard-painted walls and brown tiled floors. Frankly the place looked like a General contractor worked the place over with a Home Depot gift card, the decor was kinda generic. I looked over the menu and saw they serve breakfast all day. That's good, damn good. However I was riding my bike and really didn't want to be super stuffed on my ride back home - I ordered the "Cuban Panini", I didn't opt for fries or slaw at a dollar more, meaning I got a cup of soup and I chose the chicken noodle. The Chicken Noodle soup was ok, it tasted like a doctored-up condensed soup frankly but it was tasty. The "Cuban Panini" is soooo wrong, but it tastes sooo good. Instead of Cuban style bread, it's served on hard square chibatta bread that's grilled super crunchy. The roast pork is not shredded or flavored like cuban style roast pork but is good regardless, as well the ham tastes like traditional American sugar/salt cured ham. I don't care, this sandwich stood up on it's own without being the "perfect cuban". It was also big enough that I didn't feel underfed just having a sandwich and soup. All in all, I'm a little disappointed I haven't been there since living in the neighborhood for two years. I'll revise my review if anything changes but my first meal there was very good. My only con, well this place was far from busy having about 5 tables occupied out of maybe 30-odd tables in the place, 5-6 servers, and service still seemed to take awhile. Small price to pay though. Speaking of price, my sandwich with soup (included) and a water to drink was $7.70 including tax.

We've been going to Georgie Boy from their inception. Out of all of the local diners, they are the best value and have most consistant food quality and quantity. With almost every dish you have the option of getting one of their wonderful homemade soups..chicken and dumplings on Saturdays is one of our favs! Try to find a dish on their specials list because with dinner you get soup or salad, entree with starch and veggies along with dessert for one great price. A friendly consistant wait staff and owner make it a joy to eat there.

This is the worse food I've had since I moved to Florida 15 years ago. I had the chicken parm w/linguini. The bread taste like cardboard. The chicken was bland and tasteless. The linguini had something red on it which could have been watered down catsup. My wife had fish & chips. The fish should have been used for bait - not for feeding the public. Don't waste your time or money on this place. I had to give this place 1 star to write the review.

We have been to Georgie Boy for breakfast after church on many a Sunday. Have always had good food and terrific service here. We've also been coming here for dinner occasionally of late with good results too. Very tasty American and Greek entrées with a slightly higher price than some of the other family owned restaurants in the Largo/Clearwater area. I think what stands out here at Georgie Boy's other than the good food, is the great service. The owners don't tolerate unfriendly and or slow wait staff, they just don't last here, which is a good thing IMO. They also have a covered outside area for dinning.
