It took almost 6 years to find decent Chinese since moving from Massachusetts but the search is close to over. Everything was very good, Teriyaki Sesame wings, chicken fried rice, beef with snow peas, veggie lo mein, chicken fingers. Egg rolls were ok so still looking for a good egg roll down here. Never got to try the crab rangoon as it was left out of the order and not discovered until I got home. Over all good experience, we'll go back.

Please read before eating there! I went there to pick up lunch today. I had eaten there once recently and hated the meat (it was tough and rubbery and a bit questionable) but I liked the egg rolls. As I sat in my car out front waiting for my egg rolls, an employee who was sitting inside eating lunch walked outside coughing (she had a greasy apron on so I assume she is a cook). Just as I was thinking, "I hope she doesn't have TB" she hocked up something large and green, and half caught it before it landed on the ground. Just a few feet away I sat in horror, as she then placed a finger on one nostril and blew a snot rocket that would have made any cowboy envious, straight into the parking lot. In my line of profession I deal with some pretty gross stuff, but this, this was bad! I instantly felt sick and should have just driven off at that point. But I waited, expecting to watch her go into the bathroom and hopefully wash her hands but instead she sat back down to eat. I went inside and I was going to say something but I was in such shock. I grabbed my bag of food and as I walked out she walked behind the counter back into the kitchen. She never washed her hands!! My food went immediately into the trash as soon as I got home. I can honestly say I have lost my appetite for any Chinese food, forever! There is ignorance, then there is just down-right dirty stuff. There is no excuse for not washing your hands after catching sputum from your mouth, then blowing snot out of your nose like a blowhole. The fact that she did this outside, in daylight with people sitting on the porch next to her raises serious concerns for what she does when no one is looking. Infectious diseases are easily spread through blatant carelessness like hers, and I will definitely be reporting this to the health department. So, now you have been forewarned. Eat there at your own risk.

Ever since I had a late Chinese food craving a few months ago I've been back to this place at least a dozen times. No I've never gotten food poisoning and yes I can barely understand the cashier, but that's what adds to the authenticity of this place. The only thing that's missing is a roasted duck hanging from a hook and the proverbial Chinese Zodiac calendars on the table. At this point I should go ahead and pull the race card and say I'm part Chinese. That being said I'm a pretty big connoisseur of fast Chinese food and this place comes close to the top. The Crab Rangoons are huge and completely filled. The free egg rolls I usually throw away, I actually enjoy. Everything I've ordered has had great flavor and has never disappointed. The price for a dinner combo is reasonable and I always have enough leftover to take to work for lunch and can even use the same take out container to heat it up in. If you're actually lucky enough to hear the front lady answer the phone while you're there you'll miss hearing those sweet sounds after a few days.. thanks Chinaninnin!

The best Chinese food in Clearwater. Though that may not be a huge compliment, they do have a number of things going for them. 1. Their hot and sour soup is off the chain. 2. They deliver to my apartment 3. They are consistent (We order from here at least once a month because we are lazy, lazy people who can barely lift a spatula) So while it may not blow your socks off, it's definitely better than Wok Out or New China Beach, though still an average Chinese place.

I have ordered from here 3-4x now, everything is really fresh and I love the plastic to go containers that make it really easy to reheat leftovers the next day. Vegetable Lo mein was great and so are the terriyaki sesame wings.

I would say this is the best Chinese take-out place in Clearwater. I have tried a couple in the area but this place is much better than others. I was not feeling well and wanted take out and I sure was surprised and happy that I ordered it.

Please please please only order from here if you are interested in getting food poisoning. We ordered from here Thursday night and I'm finally able to leave the toilet. Highly not recommended. I just tried to call them and I don't think anyone understood. I'm so sorry if anyone ordered from there last night before I was able to post this. Tried to call dept if public health but it's Saturday and they're not open-- have to wait until Monday. Good luck to anyone still planning on ordering.

From out of town and had a taste for Chinese. What a mistake. The food was horrible to say the least. I would have been better off buying frozen microwave store bought. The chop suey was God awful, same w/the fried rice and eggroll. Mom and I ended up dumping the whole meal. Do not recommend!! Not sure what we ate, but never again.

I would say this is the best Chinese take-out place in Clearwater. I have tried a couple in the area but this place is much better than others. We had lunch combination plates delivered. A little bit of trouble ordering over the phone but we got what we wanted. The portion is gigantic!! One lunch plate is like for 2 people. If you order a plate with meat in it, they will put meat in your plate. Not like the place across the street. They don't give you fried chicken with no chicken and just batter and sauce. Their food taste decent for a Chinese take-out. I would say this place is the bet in the area. p.s The second time I ordered from this place, I walked in and ordered. It was a nice gentleman who took my order and my food came out very quickly!

It's your standard American Chinese storefront restaurant. Cut ever corner you can to make a dime. There are 2 filthy tables to eat in if you want. We had the Mongolian Chicken which was a pint of onion slices in brown sauce. I counted one piece of chicken it in. They forgot our egg rolls but loaded us down with fortune cookies. With a Chinese take out on every corner, I don't know how you can serve food like this and stay in business.

I had the curry chicken and it was good - great flavor, juicy chicken. It's your standard American Chinese food, but as such, the quality of it always depends on 1) the ingredients and 2) the skill of the cook. You can peer back in the kitchen and see the owner cooking in his giant wok and he knows how to use it. It's worth checking out if you want some comfortable Chinese food. Be prepared though if you want to eat in: there is no air conditioning.

Great food, I love the General Tso's chicken and Sesame chicken. They have lunch combos with rice, meat of your choice and an egg roll for five bucks. Great portion size, great food.

Blondie was in a mood for Chinese and I read Andrew's review so I decided, "Why not?" I had the sweet and sour pork and Blondie ate the moo goo gai pan. I called for pick up. We were both happy with our meals but we were not given any soy sauce or duck sauce, which disappointed Blondie. All in all a tasty meal for not a lot of money, just not significant. But I'll probably eat here again.

It's an average Chinese take-out place. There's better, there's worse. We used to order for delivery all the time and it was always very hot and fresh. If you need Chinese take out this is a good option.

Quality food and good sized portions on the combo meals. Highly recommended for delivery/takeout Chinese.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
