Everything was great! The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. Very clean restaurant. We had the Hong Kong wonton soup (really good), crab rangoon (a little coconut milk mixed inside maybe?), char siu, chicken with mixed vegetable (asparagus mushroom onions and carrots) on X.O. sauce (Awesome recommendation from the waiter), Mongolian beef (onions, green bean, and carrots) and the char siu fried rice (needed a little soy sauce). We will definitely be back!

If you enjoy Authentic Chinese food, and like Yummy house, you'll LOVE Asian Pearl. The food is delicious and the service is both quick and very polite. They are locate behind the former Tilted kilt in a small strip mall, which is mostly empty, but their store was full that night. We ordered the salt & pepper calamari - which was absolutely delicious, the husband had the General Tso's and I had the beef and broccoli. The portions were so large that the husbeast had plenty for left overs for the weekend.

Fantastic! Delicious food, great service. We love to dine in. Our favorite dishes are Salt & Pepper Shrimp, Clams with Black Beans, Mongolian Beef. The flavors are wonderful and each dish has its own individual flavor. Highly recommend, you won't be sorry.

The fish maw soup that everyone raves about in the reviews was good but a little on the salty side. The beef chow fun was very good. The live red snapper that we had steamed was also decent but way pricey for a Chinese restaurant. Service was also good compared to many other Chinese restaurants. I took away one star for price and another star for the food. I didn't expect to pay $50 for two people with no drinks and no desserts.

Not much of an update if I'm sticking with the 5 stars! This is just an update on the dishes I had recently. My goal is to try something new each time and it's working because I've sound some more dishes to love. The Sea Clam in X.O. sauce (on the board) was amazing. It's not your regular clams, these are light tender, crunchy clam piled with chives that which brings earthiness to the plate. I really enjoyed it! The house crispy noodles, which we've had many of times is my boyfriends favorite. He just loves it so much he could eat two of them at a time. It's a nice twist to noodles, I call it the "junk food" noodles because it's that addicting. Crispy noodles for the win. READ THIS IF YOU GO. You have to get the crispy coconut balls. These balls are like no other balls you'll ever encounter. They have a smooth, light and crisp shell, but once you get to the center you're going to explode in happiness. The coconut milk pudding/custard is slightly firm enough so it doesn't ooze, but it's so smooth going down. I want it everyday.. all day.

I notice this restaurant when one of the yelper comments she went to her family dinner. I saw some of the some of the picture she post is delicious. I have book mark it for next visit. It is sad to see the plaza is empty. However the restaurant is the likely attraction in the plaza has most of the cars in front of the store. We have order two dishes of the menu. The waitress is friendly to take our order. We have the fried pig intestine and the mixed mushroom with round eye beef. The intestine is deep fried then slice into pieces and come with sweet chili sauce. The outside is crispy and the inside is soft. This is a plain fried intestine. I prefer the marinated then fry because is more flavor. Mixed mushroom include straw mushroom and the Russian mushroom with slice round beef in strip. The beef did have a process to tenderize the meat to soften. This dish is cook with sweet soy base sauce. In this area, it uses to have good Chinese restaurant. Lately many of the restaurants either is go backward to serve American style Chinese food or the main chef left. As a result it is consider this restaurant is decent among the Chinese restaurants.

A friend and I decided to venture out for Asian food one evening and chose Asian Pearl. A relatively new restaurant in a strip mall, the decor is typical with ample seating. We were led to a side room away from the main dining area to be seated which made me sad as they weren't busy. Our server was efficient but not overly friendly. I ordered a forgettable dish of a sizzling beef skillet with asparagus. The best thing about the dish was the asparagus as the beef had tiny bones in it. The dish overall lacked flavor and I was unimpressed. I do appreciate that the white rice that accompanied the meal was a perfect 1/2-1cup portion. I'm sure I could have asked for more but that amount was more than enough.

The restaurant is large and open and very clean. They have live seafood along the wall in front of the kitchen. Plenty of booths, and tables available for larger parties. The service is extremely friendly and prompt. I don't think our drinks got below half full at any point. The food portions are huge! The general tso's chicken was a little lacking in flavor and spice, but the sesame chicken was delicious. We had so much left over, and our server gave us 2 more servings of rice to go home.

Asian Pearl is a sparkly new Cantonese restaurant, with a nice, new location near Countryside Mall and right off of US 19. I love their hours, open from 5:00PM to midnight everyday, but closed on Tuesday. The late night hours and clean, casual atmosphere may lure me back again soon. The servers are really sweet and great at explaining dishes and their specialties. Luckily, the specials menu is often updated on the white board by the entrance. It is always best to try one or more dishes from the specials. When ordering, I recommend ordering one entree per person. You MUST share! Push all of the dishes into the center of the table and eat straight from the dish. Hoarding dishes to yourself is just rude and odd. If you are dining by yourself, I recommend ordering two entrees and bringing home the leftovers. When you eat rice, eat it in a small bowl, lift the bowl to eat from it with one hand. When I say Cantonese food, you know that there will be many; seafood dishes, XO sauce dishes, Chow Fun, and Salt Pepper Fried dishes. All of those are true at Asian Pearl. However, don't leave out their duck, because people are raving about that as well. We had the Honey Roast Pork, which was chewy and reheated. I will not be ordered that again. But, all of the other dishes I have eaten here are interesting in their own way. For example: There are a least 10 different kinds of Salt & Pepper dishes to choose from, and not just your typical seafood options. We wanted to try the Salt Pepper Eggplant and Mushrooms, but opted instead for the Salt Pepper Shrimp and Asparagus. The shrimp were massive and snappy, so awesome. Their Salt Pepper topping is a cross between the Tampa Bay kind, which has cilantro and fried garlic--- and the traditional Cantonese batter that is a very light, crispy wash. I love the addition of seedless jalapeno slices. Could that be the Mexican cuisine influence in the kitchen? Either way, it is delicious and unique! XO sauce is house-made with large chunks of dried red chili skins and more of the seedless jalapeno. The globe onions used are also cut into the perfect small size. Very fresh vegetables are used on any of the stir-fried vegetable dishes. The food is also not too salty or overcooked. I like the addition of unique produce like enoki mushrooms and the seasonal produce like the asparagus. The homemade wet chili oil on the table appeared to be very old. It would be great if this was changed out more frequently. It was so awesome to be served complimentary tong sui at the end of the meal. Do you know the term? Tong Sui has become very popular in large cities within the United States, and I am hoping will eventually become as popular as bubble tea over time. Last time I was in Manhattan, trendy tong sui shops have moved all the way from Flushing into the city and opening specialty stores. I recommend trying them out. Asian Pearl is trendy and they do not even know! The tong sui served here during our last visit was coconut milk, with white tapioca, and cantaloupe melon. So refreshing!

Me and the hubs had been craving authentic Chinese food since moving from Boston. This place is fantastic and was exactly what we were looking for. I had been craving crispy noodles and Beef Chow fun.... Amazing. I wish I had more of an appetite so that we could have ordered the congee and the coconut balls that everyone has been raving about. But that will be for our next visit. It was a Monday night, so the restaurant was pretty quiet and the staff were attentive and polite.

Really, really excellent experience with fantastic Peking Duck and Scallop and Egg Fried Rice. Our dinner was outstanding and the restaurant appeared to be about 90-95% full and was staffed with 3 servers. Our server was very attentive through out our dinner, however, both the other servers checked on us as well. All 3 were very friendly asking how we made our selections and then explained how they were prepared. A+++++ and we will return soon.

I'm new to Clearwater and came to Yelp to find the best Chinese food in the area. This restaurant really did live up to all of the rave reviews. This is not your typical Chinese takeout food, it's way more elevated and the food is so flavorful. They use a lot of fresh vegetables and white meat chicken. We haven't tried any other Chinese food since we've been here because the food here is just that good and I don't want to be disappointed.

It was nice going to a sit down chinese restaurant amd the other positive reviews made the decision to dine here an easy one. In NJ I dont think I have every seen a sot down chinese restaurant, all we have is takeout and sorry to say but its all trash... This restaurant though has the makings of something special. upon reading the reviews and finding that the menu has special items aside from the run of the mill chinese dishes means to me that someone running the business is into keeping customers coming back and they key to that for me at least is not only variety but also quality amd this restaurant had ample servings of both. I highly recommend you try it.

Simply the best Chinese I've found in Florida. I've tried every one in my area and found the Pearl on Yelp. If your going out to eat, give them a try. Everything we had was fantastic. This is the most authentic Chinese food I've found since being in NYC's China Town. having owned a pest control company in the past, I tend to check out Florida "Restaurant Inspections" before I eat somewhere. The Pearl did excellent. It is a foodie's dream since they serve items you can't find just anywhere. The fresh fish & shrimp are "really" fresh. Right out of the tank fresh. If your into Tofu, my favorite dish so far is the Ma Po and if you never had fried tofu you are really missing something special. Made in a spicy minced chicken sauce made it a very special dish for me since I am a fried tofu freak. When I want Chinese now, I go "only" to the Pearl!

Located a in a strip mall which doesn't seem to have a lot of business, but don't let that discourage you. The place is huge, clean but looks like it was an Italian restaurant before. The servers were friendly and prompt. Food was served fast. I liked the roasted pork shrimp fried rice, and the mixed veggies. The batter from the mixed seafood, not too crazy about it, but it was ok, the seafood were not tough. To sum up, good food, good service average priced. But if you're looking for great ambiance, look elsewhere.

Tina was our waitress. Terrific service and palate pleasing food. The Ala Carte menu equates to a large buffet, but each serving is freshly made to order. We love this place. If you want excellent flavorful Chinese Cuisine in Clearwater, look no further.

OUTSTANDING!! Read the reviews and decided to give this place a try and will definitely be going back soon!! Went for dinner with my daughter and just kept ordering food...it was all delicious! The Peking duck, crab pot and chicken and eggplant were my favorite tonight. Can't wait to go back and try the live seafood tank. This place is a hidden gem. You won't be disappointed!!

Right behind the Tilted Kilt on Drew St. is Chinese food heaven. This restaurant was started by the previous owners of ABC Seafood in St. Petersburg. They have only been open for a little over a week. They have a very similar menu as ABC's and it's quite extensive. We started off with the Hot & Sour Seafood soup for 2 ($4.99) and the Pan Fried Dumplings ($4.99)(see pics). The soup was chocked full of goodies and had a wonderful spicy flavor. The dumplings were plump and perfect. After mulling over the menu, we decided on the X.O. Seafood Fried Rice ($12.99) and the Grouper Filet with Spicy Broth (Szechuan Style) ($13.99). OMG! We love X.O. flavoring and the rice was full of shrimp and diced scallops that were very tender. The Grouper was plentiful and perfectly cooked. It was also a ton of food(just check out the pics). We are already talking about what we'll order on our next visit! North Pinellas County now has an awesome Chinese food destination. YAY!

I Yelped the closest Chinese restaurant to where we were in Clearwater, and found this hidden gem! My boyfriend was sick at the time and I decided to get him some soup. I have to say, this was the BEST Chinese restaurant I've had in the Tampa/Clearwater area! I don't even think I had it this good when I was in Chinatown in NYC (at least for this style of Chinese food). We ordered egg rolls, wonton soup, General Tso's chicken, and the preserved egg and pork congee. I know, I know General Tso's is NOT real Chinese food, but my boyfriend was craving it. I am so glad we ordered it because my god, it was AMAZING! It wasn't drowning in sauce, lightly breaded and had a nice kick. The best part was that it was made with white meat! Typically, this dish is made with dark chicken meat. When some restaurants do offer white meat, it would taste like an old sponge, completely dry and overcooked. However, the meat was juicy, tender, and just so flavorful! And another item to really try is their wonton soup. Inside each dumping is packed full with shrimp and pork. So flavorful and will give any sick person back their energy! I enjoyed everything I had today and would recommend those who are reading this to give it a try. :)

Been here about 10 times, now. This is one of our go to places. Coconut milk balls are a favorite. Mongolian beef another. Love the beef chow fun. Last night, the wife wanted chicken chow fun...no problem! That is customer service. On service, always outstanding. So happy they are in the area. Not to sound like a bigot, but when you go to a Chinese or Mexican place and most of the customers are Chinese Or Mexican, you know you are at the real deal! Asian Pearl is the real deal.

Let me just say - it's about darn time! We needed this restaurant. I'm so happy this place opened, and so is every other person that I've sent there. --- This review is based on a number (read, dozens - my coworkers go there literally EVER. SINGLE. DAY.) of visits and entrees. My reviews are based on FOOD. But for the record, inside you'll find an old renovated pizza place filled with Asian customers and amazing food. This is authentic Chinese food, with what I'm assuming is from the southern region as they use Cilantro in almost everything. Whether you're looking for 'fast food Chinese' for lunch, or an authentic dining experience, this place will meet your needs. Yes, you are paying for incredibly fresh ingredients and entrees literally loaded with seasonable vegetables, but the price difference is actually pretty nominal considering the quality of the food. You will also find that things do not taste precisely like you expected them to since our American palettes are accustomed to NY style Chinese food. The textures and ingredients are slightly different, but be brave and try some new things! Some things I especially recommend are the Duck, the X.O. Beef and the Stir-Fried Rice Noodles with Shrimp and Chicken. So delicious. Did I mention my coworkers are literally addicted to this place? They have gone there literally every single day in the past month.

Let me qualify this by saying... if it were in any other reasonably sized city I might have offered a 4 star rating. It's not, it's in Clearwater. A Real Cantonese restaurant! I live for Chow Fun, they pull live shrimp, live lobsters and live fish out of tanks on display in the dining area. You heard me right, a Chinese restaurant that your not nervous about ordering seafood. The service couldn't have been better without becoming annoying. I'm at a loss for words as I am stunned. Won Ton soup with actual broth not just hot water, oil and chives, for a change. I had stopped in during their first week and reserved comment until I tried it again. Don't know why it took me so long. Tip- save the delicious coconut milk balls for dessert but top them with fruit or honey or Cinnamon. Here's the bonus- Hungry late at night...Open till midnight! (except Tuesdays).

If you're looking for authentic cantonese-style chinese food, this is the place to go. In my honest opinion, it's the best chinese restaurant in all of Tampa. The only place that comes close is Lucky Star in Pinellas Park. As one of the other reviewers mentioned, the owners are the previous owners of ABC Seafood down on 54th Ave N. If you're overwhelmed by the menu, here's what I usually order: Salt and Pepper Tofu Clams in Black Bean Sauce (Spicy) Roast Duck Stir-Fried Snow Pea Tips with Garlic Snails in Spicy Sauce Sizzling Beef Ribs with Honey Black Pepper Sauce Shrimp with Creamy Glaze and Crispy Coconut Balls (basically honey walnut shrimp without the walnuts and those coconut balls are incredible!) Preserved Egg and Pork Congee

Not feeling this place at all. reading the reviews i was really tempted to hit this place up. maybe my expectations were too high. started with crab rangoons. they were a let down. barely filled with anything and if it was filled it was mainly cream cheese and not much c(k)rab.thats how little filling there was, i couldnt tell if it was crab or krab. Entree was the beef chow fun. the flavors were completely lacking. Didnt have much of a flavor at all. the bean sprouts and 3 strips of green onion contributed nothing to the dish. other pictures looked good but i dont think ill be back.

The shrimp fried rice was soo delicious and the orange chicken is awesome. The servers are friendly and engaging the Resturant is clean. I will love coming back here and I will bring my family and friends to try this place

Food was watered down. Orange chicken tasted like doughnuts. Sweet and sour chicken very bland. Expensive and not worth the price.

  • Elizabeth O.

This is easily the worst tasting Chinese food I've EVER had. The "chicken" is just not. I don't know what the hell it is but its soft and dense life fish. In fact when i took the first bite if my "general tso" i thought they had accidentally given me shrimp because it has a similar texture and taste. I actually called back to tell them they gave us he wrong thing and they just told me its chicken and didn't offer any other help or at least an apology. It was 9.99 for lo mein which is ridiculous because of how poorly everything tastes. For 30$ i am highly disappointed and will not return. Save your self the time and money of trying this dump. Order from china king in palm harbor.

  • Karen R.

This was my second time here. Loved the first time, had the eggplant - great, not so great second time, waiter I have a fly in my general tso chicken. No apology from staff! Nothing! Bye Asian Pearl ugh. There is now no decent chinese in Pinellas.

  • Scott B.

I'd rather go to a crappy Chinese buffet than eat here again. At least then I would expect to get crappy Chinese food. This place was way to expensive for what you get. None of the meals even come with white rice. They have no combo specials with soup and egg roll. My general tso chicken was tiny little pieces of chicken, each about the size of a nickel, and way way over cooked. The sesame chicken was the exact same. The chicken with black bean sauce had an odd flavor I can't describe. And I have never had fried rice with cilantro in it, ever. Maybe that's a thing at some Chinese restaurants, and in my 38 years I've somehow missed it. Could be possible, but I'm glad I have cause cilantro does not belong in fried rice. We had well over half of each meal left and did not take it home. You might think that would raise a red flag with the waiter, and they might check to see if we had enjoyed the food but no. For three people to each get one entree, an egg fried rice to share, and water to drink the total was $47.00 before tip. And the entree's and fried rice we ordered were pretty much the cheapest ones on the menu. This place is total rip off and probably won't be around much longer.

Oh wow is all I can say. One of thee best Chinese places in Pinellas ...HANDS DOWN! If you enjoy real Chinese food and not some take out stuff, this is it. We started off with the salt and pepper calamari. Yum! Then we had the mushroom chicken clay pot, beef chow fun and Chinese broccoli. ALL YUM! Just as good as the yummy house...if not better!!!!!!

    (5)
  • Jay G.

Their food is a little bit pricey compared to other Chinese restaurants in the area but it is absolutely worth it. Although I make the effort to try different dishes, I almost always just order the Kung pao chicken. I really enjoy how they include a lot of different veggies in their entrées as well as an adequate amount of meat. My only complaint is that I wish they were open on Tuesdays! I was really craving some XO chicken today.

    (5)
  • Aaron M.

The food is why you go here! Everything is delicious. Our favorite is the shrimp with coconut sauce. Like really enjoyed the mushroom and eggplant salt and pepper... Very ample servings and you will not go home hungry. Atmosphere is super casual as in bright lights, jeans and t shirt servers, and just feels like a strip mall. Definitely not pretentious or stuffy. Just decent casual environment... Ideally, when eating Mexican I want to feel a Mexican vibe. When I'm eating Chinese I want to feel Chinese vibe. There was no vibe. Maybe dim the lights, have some nice music, have nicer authentic outfits to serve, put decor to match.. And it will feel as I am immersed in culture and then the food will taste even better

My husband and I are so happy to finally have good Chinese food in Clearwater! We had the Chinese Broccoli with Oyster Sauce, Beef Chow Fun and the House Spare Ribs in a Clay Pot. Everything was delicious! We're happy Asian Pearl is here for the cuisine. My one complaint was that our waitress wasn't very attentive or pleasant. Waited 10 minutes after we sat to be greeted, the pork spare ribs came out 15 minutes after our other 2 dishes arrived (which is fine, just give us a heads up), had to ask another server for refills, to go boxes and our check.

There were french beans in my Schezwan! At first I was unhappy, how weird and wrong, how atypical, then I took a bite, sensational! Highly recommend it. A revolution in the making. The vegetable fried rice had kale in it . Another wonderful blend. I love this new joint already I hope they stay fresh and consistent on the unique flavor.

If you're looking for good Chinese in the Clearwater area, you can stop. This is it. Everything we had was amazing. I tried all of the following: crab rangoons, steamed rolls, steamed dumplings, creamy shrimp, coconut milk balls, General Tso's chicken, X.O. Duck with noodles, steamed snow pea with garlic, and last but definitely not least was the complimentary dessert: coconut milk tapioca with melon. Everything was fabulous, I will be going back as soon as possible to try everything I can on the menu. It is extensive and everything sounds delicious. From standard fare to frog, snail, seafood, etc... This place is not to be missed.

I came here for dinner last night after reading about Asian Pearl in the newspaper and the positive yelp reviews. Still, I honestly wasn't expecting much as I've never had stellar experiences at Chinese restaurants, but i was in the mood for a new place. Upon entering, the decor is less than impressive. Looks like they bought some random artwork from Ross and tacked it on the wall with weird placement arrangement. There's still some signs of the precious Mexican restaurant that was here before. Regardless, they were already busy even at 6 pm so we decided it must be a good sign. We started off with a pot of hot tea. Yuck. It had barely any flavor and there were loose tea leaves all throughout. is this supposed to be "authentic"? It wasn't appealing at all. Next we shared a bowl of wonton. It was average, nothing spectacular. Since I had heard such great things about the crispy coconut balls, we decided to give those a shot when we spotted them under the apps area of the menu. Although these may be better off as a dessert rather than an appetizer, they were still FABULOUS. So light, crispy and just the right amount of sweetness. They were piping hot when they were brought to the table & had to cool down a bit, otherwise we would have scarfed them down in no time. As far as the entree goes, we were having a hard time deciding. The menu is extensive and many of the items were foreign to me as I normally eat Thai food when I'm in the mood for Asian, so my knowledge of traditional Chinese is basically non-existent. May be helpful if they included a brief description of each item. After doing a google search of "singapore rice noodles" on my phone, we decided to split an order of that. The server notified us it came with pork & shrimp, but we opted to add chicken as well (for $2). It was a good call to add the extra chicken. If there was pork, it was so little I never saw it, and the shrimp was minimal, only about 4 in the whole meal. The chicken was plentiful and definitely did the job. The dish had a nice curry flavor, but wasn't overly spicy. However, we wished it had more vegetables. We asked the server and she made it seem like it had plenty of veggies, but really it was just chopped carrots and not much else. It could definitely use some broccoli or something else mixed in. As far as the service goes, it was decent overall. The server was very attentive throughout most of the experience, until towards the end when it got so busy there was not even 1 empty table. Only 2 servers were working at the time, so they were overwhelmed. Overall, I was not all that crazy about Asian Pearl unfortunately. I may go back again and give it another try, but not rushing in again anytime soon. Note: They are closed on Tuesdays, but will be open for lunch everyday except then starting very soon.

This place is great. I got the salt and pepper tofu. It was amazing. The tofu was perfect and had a fresh mix of onions, peppers cilantro and other ingredients as a garnish with it. We got the clay pot of chicken, sausage and mushrooms which was also amazing. Then got the grouper in a spicy Szechwan sauce. So much food and it was all wonderful.

This is the new location from the owners of ABC seafood in st Pete. The food is very very good. Probably the best Chinese food in the Tampa Bay Area. definitely hands down the best seafood and fishmaw soup anywhere I've had it and that's quite a few. Their service and friendliness is through the roof! I love this place because of its authentic Chinese food and cuisine. The place is spacious. Not really huge but pretty large enough. It's located at the corner of Drew in the plaza with the tilted kilt. I'm so glad there's a good Asian place close to me now I don't have to drive to st Pete every time I want Asian! The place is clean and the atmosphere is not too noisy. They are in the process of installing the fish tank for fresh seafood because they just open. Closing time is 930 right now but they intend to change the hours to later once they have the tank installed.

I live in NYC and happen to dine in China town quite often. Asian Pearl is fabulous. The food is very authentic and delicious. I am very pleased with the food variety and service. If you're in the Clearwater area....check them out. You won't regret it....

I want to like this place I really do. The food is alright, better then NY Chinese but not Yummy House good. The prices are high and every time we have gone they have a huge party and we were told wait time for food would be almost an hour. I'm glad North Pinellas is getting some Chinese cuisine worth even eating but lets hope these people get there legs and are able to pull off a great restaurant. I'm still waiting.

I picked this place based on the reviews and I'm glad I did. The other reviewers were spot on. The staff member who took my take out order over the phone was helpful and courteous. They couldn't fulfill a request I had to modify a menu item so they gave me a fee order of yummy coconut milk balls.

LOVED IT! Arrived to a full restaurant on a Sunday evening..which is a good sign. Ordered Crab Rangoons and Wonton soup for appetizer...it was delicious. Followed with beef and broccoli and chicken lo mein for our entrees. Both were fantastic...great flavor.

Way too much sodium and dish not as described by server. Had chicken with black bean sauce. Had abundant leftovers, which I left. Other diners around me seemed pleased with their dishes but mine was not good

Being Asian, I was a bit skeptical from all the glowing review so took the family there for dinner. The kids wanted Peking Duck and we have yet to find any good one yet in Tampa area. Sadly to say the search continues. Once again like other places, chopped up roast duck is not Peking Duck...especially if it's dripping wet with roasting juice. Also it's supposed to be served with sliced scallion and not pickled daikon and carrots. Salt and pepper calamari lacked the punch of salt and pepper. We figured our fall back dish of orange chicken would saved the meal but that fell flat too. Total disappointment. Hope others had better luck but we struck out.

Been looking for good chinese food aince we moves to Clearwater and we finally found it. The hong Kong wonton soup had fresh wonton in it and a broth that you could taste the spices. My wife had the sweet and sour pork which was phenomenal and i had the szechuan chicken with vegetables and xo sauce which was good, but lacking spice. One note, all the portions are huge so if you are not planning on leftovers, order one entree its more than enough. Would have give 5 stars but they messed up the order the first time, but did correct it. We will be back.

Wow, this is a new Chinese restaurant run by the former owner of ABC Seafood Restaurant in St Petersburg. The food is as good and the setting is more relaxing than the old ABC. The special for the night was deep fried pumpkin chips. It was so good!!

SO great...so glad we found the original owners of ABC Seafood. Salt and pepper tofu is great, as is vegetable chow fun. Ask for vegetarian hot and sour soup if you don't like seafood. This is as close to NYC Chinatown as we have found.

Was so excited to come to somewhere in Pinellas. Will NOT BE BACK. Doesn't hold a candle to YUMMY HOUSE! Rice was seamed....not "fried rice". Everything over salted. Not coming back!

First visit today for lunch and it was delicious! So happy that this lovely new restaurant has come to our neighborhood. Deep-fried prawns were crunchy and delicious, veggie spring rolls were also full of flavor. Spicy chicken and eggplant entree had a wonderful kick to it; braised tofu with veggies was mild yet flavorful. We will be returning soon!

Go for the sweet and sour soup - it is the best I've ever had period. Very friendly staff and extensive menu. Restaurant needs a little décor though.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city.
