If you are craving an authentic NY style pizza then this is the place to go. As well as the pizza being great, the service is fast & friendly & the prices are reasonable. We started with the garlic rolls which had the perfect crispy exterior and were drenched in garlic, herbs & olive oil. The pizza came out piping hot & the slices are huge! It had the perfect amount of sauce & gooey cheese with an adequate amount of toppings. The crust was the perfect thickness, not too thin & not too thick with a chewy interior & crisp bottom. For dessert we split a cannoli. The cream was creamy & thick with the perfect amount of sweetness. A delicious ending to a truly satisfying meal.

Awesome pizza at reasonable prices. This is generally my go-to for a Friday night pie on my way home from the office. Though I have always ordered early in the evening, they are always quick. The staff has always been very friendly and I have not had a bad pizza from here. They also have a small dining room with about 10 booths. They offer a 2 slice with a drink lunch combo for $5.00 or so which is great if your craving pizza during the lunch hour. New York pizza is highly recommended... reasonable prices, friendly staff, and great pizza.

We have been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years. It is hands down our favorite pizzeria around. The employees are always nice and friendly (a few of them always take the time to have a conversation with us). When we lived in the area, we wouldn't even have to place the order. They'd see our number or our faces and they would start making our food without questions (18" cheese pizza and garlic bread with cheese). It was awesome. The food is delicious. The pizza is fantastic, a light sauce and thin crust, and the perfect cheese. The garlic bread with cheese is also phenomenal. Aside from those two things, we have also tried their chicken parmesan (both sub and pasta meal), the calzones, and their salads. Everything amazing. The location itself is a bit small, but I've never had an issue getting a table, and I've never had to wait very long. Whether I'm living 5 minutes away (as I used to), or living 30 minutes away (as I do now), I make sure to come here as often as possible.

Love love love this place! We have been going since they opened. Their chicken Palermo is amazing! I thoroughly enjoy their red sauce pizzas and their garlic knots. Now I do enjoy a white pizza but not a fan of theirs.

I've been here 7 or 8 times since my first review, and I have to say that first time must have been an unlucky fluke. Every time I've come in since the first time, the food's been hot and fresh, and to our table within 5 to 6 minutes, tops. And there has never been even the slightest bit of smoke other than that one day, so again, it must've just been something that burned on that one particular visit. It was definitely a bad first impression, but they've totally redeemed themselves since. Oh and I'm sure someone else has mentioned this in one of their reviews somewhere, but they have an amazing deal- two slices and a drink for $4.99. Can't beat that.

This is our neighborhood pizza place and we have been very happy customers for over a year now. Great prices and the pizzas are always fresh. We have to move soon but will be back if we are on this side of town. Thank you for all the great meals!

One of the best pizza places around!! If you're looking for a greasy, cheesey pizza this is the place for you! They are a little pricey so we don't order from here often. But we have tried them 3-4 times and a few of their different specialty pizzas and it has always been good! Friendly service too!

In a world littered with chain pizza and tasteless ingredients, New York Pizza Restaurant is a hidden gem! There is nothing fancy or over the top, just good food. The pizza is just the right consistency of crispy and soft, the wings are done right and have never disappointed, these guys just get it. The prices are fair and hands down is the best alternative to the disgusting chain pizza from papa johns. Every time I've been here the same gentleman is always making the pizza, which for some reason just feels right to me. Maybe it's because I appreciate hard work or just the familiarity of a friendly face. The location is a little cramped, and the heat from the ovens could be a little much in the Florida heat, but they are so worth a try. I prefer pick up, but dine in has always been quick and exact. I wish more restaurants were as consistent as New York pizza. For such an ordinary looking place they do extraordinary food.

Came here on a whim after grocery shopping next door. I'm a transplant from NY and I have to say this is the best NY style pizza I've had in Central Florida. I would have liked the crust to have a little more substance to it, it was still good. They had some legitimate knots and the marinara was on point. Slices folded up easily and wasn't overly greasy. Service was friendly and attentive which is always a plus. I will be back for more for sure.

We tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday. My mom just moved to the area and after helping her unpack all day we were starving. We got take out and went home to eat our two pizzas. We were blown away! Fabulous! Perfetto! The taste and texture were superb. Pizza was fresh out of the oven when we picked them up. No one could talk because we were all just eating and saying "MMMMMmmmmm". My kids will normally eat 1 to 2 slices of pizza but with these they each devoured four slices. Highly recommend! We will be back.

Haven't been here in a long time. i had to find a place to meet a friend and remembered this place. Very small, they have about 10 small tables, so don't go with a crowd. I got the two slice and drink for $4.99 and the pizza was very good, really very good. My friend had the steak sub and he said it was very good as well. It was $6.99 included fries and was a good size. If you eat in they have better prices I think. I was here probably over 10 years ago, and they are still around. If your in the area give them a shot. Just be aware seating is limited. Regular price on an 18 inch is $13.99, ask about deals.

We were just in last night and picked up a large Mushroom Pizza extra crispy. It was awesome - crispy, nice sauce, cheese and mushrooms. It was cooked through with no "skunk line". And you could fold it and it stood up. We always like their pizza but this was the best yet. Also had a Chicken Parm Sub and had them put green peppers in it. It was great, next time I'll get one with peppers and mushrooms added.

I have odd requirements for what I deem as actual NY style pizza, of course mine is dependent on the Brooklyn style pizza I grew up eating almost daily. Does said pizza slice size match my hand span? Yes, although I have child size hands that freakishly have a 9 piano span, blame the long fingers. Is it foldable but firm (floppy fold is a sign it's just a generic pizza, like papa johns)? Yup. This was good pizza, albeit cheesier than the normal NY style pizza. Which isnt always the worst thing in the world, but in trying to walk and eat the pizza the weight of the excess cheese made my slice flop and break in half which ensued into a burning of my hand while I tried to salvage said half. Flavor wise I was pleased and if anything this reminded me of suburban NYC pizza (LI or Westchester up to Orange counties). So maybe if you're a transplanted NYer from those areas, this pizza joint might just be up to your tastings :) This location does carry other food items and has a small sitting area with some booths and tables.

Loved it! We ordered pick-up and got a large pepperoni and garlic pizza and a large greek salad, which came with free garlic knots. Everything was delicious and the salad had quality ingredients. This will definitely be my go-to pizza place while I'm living in the Altamonte area.

The best pizza place we've found in Florida. We moved from NJ, and we don't order pizza anymore unless in is from NY Pizza. We figure there is no point to buy a fast food $10 pizza when you can get the best for $8 more dollars. Great place! Wish they had more weekly specials and were open on Sundays.

This is some great, greasy fresh Italian food. We got baked ziti for lunch, then came back the very next day for pizza and spaghetti. The portions are huge and the pizza was just fantastic. This place is now in our restaurant rotation.

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
