My friends live down the road from this place and I've driven by it navy times on my way to their house. And they've asked every time if I've eaten there yet. Up until today I've had to deal with their head shakes and "you GOTTA go" comments every time I said no. Not any more. The fish sandwich my husband got was MASSIVE!!! My burger was delicious, so much so that next time (SOON) I'll get a double. If you've driven by and not eaten here YOU ARE MISSING OUT! Definitely up high on my list now.

Great food for a fantastic price. Everyone stuffed.

Lived in the south end of PC next to Bunnell for over 10 yrs. It's a food shack outdoors with only outdoor picnic tables next to the court house with greasy fried foods and southern hospitality in a low-income part of town. If you want extra greasy, all you can eat, frozen fried fish squeezed between two, pathetically fall-apart buns smothered with so-called mayo, lard-laden tartar sauce, then this is your place. Yes, the infamous "fish sandwich" is big as they say, but if you want quantity over quality, then that's what you'll definitely get. Enjoy the flies and the mosquitoes while you wait (or god-forbid sit and eat there) and enjoy the soggy, fried oily goodness when you order your deep fried bucket of lard to-go. Ask for extra napkins to sop up the extra, dripping grease or your dignity whichever drops first.

My mom and dad used to bring us here when we were kid, and I STILL remember the great tasting food- I live in Daytona and have dreams about their delicious fish sandwich with all the fixings- it is SO HUGE for the price, and SO GOOD- Load it up with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and extra tartar sauce - I love that I can have enough for 2 meals with this sandwich- The next thing I LOVE on the menu is their breaded oysters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I always order them to go to eat when I get home, but they have NEVER made it home yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only thing I wish is after being open all these years is that they will redo the outdoor seating area with new tables and seating- But that does NOT keep me away from the delicious food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Burgers are great also

I ordered the fish sandwich yesterday afternoon and it kept me full for 24 hours it was so large! Very casual, outdoor seating only, but the picnic tables were in the shade and protected from rain.

Home of the "Big Fish Sandwich". If you're having a fish sandwich kick this is the place to come. It can easily feed two, unless you're dinning with me. : ) It's causal outdoor limited covered seating. You place your order at the window and wait since its cooked to order. FYI-Burgers are pretty good too. Bang for the buck one of the best deals in town.

Just down the street from the courthouse. This is THE place for a fish sandwich. Forget about everything on the menu and just order the fish sandwich. It's big, it's beautiful and very, very tasty. Order with cheese and extra tartar sauce. Wearing of a bib is optional.

Came here on a day trip through Bunnell and boy were we pleased. When you first pull up it kind of seems run down but I always seem to find them as being the best places to eat. Well I ordered the fish sandwich based on the recommendations and I am so glad I did. The sandwich was huge and amazing! Enough to feed two people for sure! That and a BBQ sandwich and fries and drink was only 18 bucks you simply can't beat that! I will def be back here for this greatness.

Saw what great reviews this little place had and knew we had to give it a try on our way to blueberry picking in Bunnell! The fish sandwich is ENORMOUS and delicious and the sliced bbq pork sandwich was yummy too! Outdoor covered picnic table dining only, so plan accordingly! The rain came in as we finished our meal so it ended up coming in sideways cutting our meal a little short! Simply great food...must try if you're in the area!

Delicious, GIANT fish sandwich--perfect to split with someone. I cut mine in half and still couldn't finish! The sweet tea is perfect and the fries are very good as well. My kids raved over the BBQ pork sandwich and my husband loved his philly steak. Great little place with outdoor seating, which was perfect since we had our dog with us. Only bad thing was finding a small bug in my drink when I went to ask for a refill. :( It's possible it got in there somehow after they gave my drink to me, but it's iffy, so I had to take a star away for that. Still good and I'd still go again.

This is the place to get a HUGE BANG for your buck. The fish sandwich is amazing!!! It can be split in half and it will still fill you up. They are now open on Sundays!!! Get to this place...you will be SO GRATEFUL.

Best fish sandwich around. Huge sandwich filled with delicious fried fish. Also great cheddar tots, tater tots filled with cheese!

Yeah, I agree with Edward about the fish sandwich. It was quite huge, lean guy that I am; I ended up splitting it into two meals. But you gotta get a side of something to make that work. Don't let the size of the place scare you; sometimes the best food comes from the smallest kitchens:) Ever had food from a taco truck in CA? This is almost like that for southern food.

If you want a awesome flounder sandwich, It doesn't get any better than the Bantam Chef !

This place is awesome. The fish sandwich is huge and tasty. Its worth the drive just for the fish sandwich. You might want to consider taking it home or somewhere to eat, the flies, and the heat can be annoying if you are uptight. They have an assortment of deep fried stuff and a Philly Cheesesteak, but I didn't try anything except for the fish, which was recommended to us by some natives. The best fish sandwich I have ever eaten. Get it cut in half, don't unwrap it unless you want it to fall apart.

The giant fried fish sandwich here is a thing of beauty and earns this place 5 stars all by itself. Bring a friend and split one, or plan on having leftovers. Not for the fussy.

My parents live in St. Augustine, and whenever I visit, I make the drive to Bunnell for the fish sandwich. Side of cole slaw is all i need with it and sweet tea to worsh it down!
