This the best place to have a cheesesteak in the spring hill florida area!! The sandwich is large and loaded with meat!! They fix it your way which is a plus!! The owner is awesome and always ask for your input on the food!

There are two types of people who name themselves The Boss of something -- those who think it's true and those who know it's true. On one hand, you've got the schleps in New York City who sell a crappy cup of coffee but have the audacity to advertise it as the world's best. One taste gives it away and the secret is out. They're liars. On the other hand, you've got places like Steak Boss whose name implies not just excellency, but superiority when it comes to steak. And luckily for us, they've got the goods to back it up. Holy crap, do they have the goods. My wife and I drove over an hour based on the reviews, and they did not disappoint. Shaved ribeye so tender it'll bring a tear to your eye. Fresh vegetables so fresh you can almost taste the dirt on the hands of the guy who picked them --okay, that's actually going too far. You don't taste dirt or dirty hands. But hopefully you get my point. The bread -- authentic Amoroso rolls -- was fresh and perfect. The cheese perfectly melted. The peppers, mushrooms, and onions sautéed so well, you'd think God himself made them. Long story short: when this guy calls himself the Steak Boss, he's legit.

You ever had your eyes roll back in your head after tasting something? You ever hear angels singing with every subsequent bite??? Well, I have and it was the day I tried the STEAK ROLL at Steak Boss. I seriously can't tell you how good this thing is. The Steak Sandwich and Fish Tacos are good too but that Steak Roll was special!!! They should call it the CPR roll or the Defibrillator because it gave me life!!! My family loves them too!

Man this place is a gem in Brooksville. I ordered the philly cheesesteak with onions and peppers and an order of garlic fries. My mouth is watering thinking about it. So delicious! The bread was fresh, the meat was abundant, and the cheese blended w the meat just right. The flavors were heaven. I will definitely go back tomorrow to try the tacos and paninis. I dont like comparing businesses but this gem reminds me of the Pat's place in Philly.

Cheese steak was awesome. I could tell the rolls were really from philly. The chicken pita was amazing too. I just wish it was bigger!! I've eaten there three times on this vacay. Who knew brooksville fl could rock a food truck like we do in Portland Oregon!

Had a quick bite here and I was surprised. The original cheese steak sandwich was probably one if the best I've ever had. My wife had a chicken philly but to her it was just ok. Garlic fries are a must and overall we were satisfied with everything.

Not a great experience. We arrived 10 minutes before closing time and were met with eye rolls and a bad attitude. I was able to order my food but my husband and mother were not because they said they had run out of everything. When I finally did receive my food my order was incorrect. If the service had been better I would probably return but after today's experience I do not think we will be back.

HHHHHMMMMMM I was shocked to find this very very good cheesesteak/taco place off the Veterans Expressway in Brooksville. I would venture to say that this place makes a better cheesesteak than what can be found in the central parts of Tampa Bay. They also make really good tacos that are very fresh. If you are in the Brooksville area, or driving on the Veterans, this place is worth a stop. By the way, the fries dusted with "garlic dust" are really good too!!!!!!!!!!!! Seems to me like this place, based on the menu, was dreamed up by someone from Philly (cheesesteaks) and someone from California (tacos). NOTE: There is no indoor seating. In fact, I don't think I saw outdoor seating either. This is strictly a drive-through kind of place.

Ej's review was right on!! I was so hungry and remembered seeing Steak Boss. I'm glad I tried it!!! It was the best cheese steak I've had in FL! Great staff!! Great food!!!!

Disappointed in this place. This was my first visit so I only had prior reviews to go by. I had high hopes. Sigh. I will say, the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately, the only thing I would order again is the fries. And they are nothing special. Just the frozen ones you could buy at any grocery with some garlic salt on them. The fish tacos were made of a previously frozen glorified fish stick. I ate half of one of the two included in the order and threw the rest away. It was that bad. For those who think these are GOOD, you are SO missing out on what a good fish taco is. The steak sandwich was tasty. However I decided to add mushrooms to it. Bad move. They were canned mushrooms. I HATE canned mushrooms. IMO they shouldn't be included in any pre-apocalyptic restaurant's kitchen. There is a sign that says to be patient while they cook everything to order. However, they don't let you know that nothing is actually fresh that they are cooking fresh for you. With some improvements in the food quality I would be happy to come back. You could actually save on food costs by buying fresh while items and prepping them yourselves. Buy some fresh tilapia (super cheap AND tasty) and make your fish tacos with fish that actually has the taste and texture of fish. Then you could use the same fish to make a fried and a grilled or blackened fish taco. Use FRESH mushrooms. Cut your own vegetables instead of using all of the pre sliced, processed and frozen stuff. I would pay more for good quality tasty food. Such a disappointment. Sorry guys. I won't be back.

Come for the fish tacos! The steaks are ok. Good fries. Friendly staff. The price is a little high, especially for a place that is drive thru, and kind of annoying to get into - they could have picked a better location. The fish tacos though are fresh and delicious.

Outstanding. Cheesesteak sandwich and french fries both very good. Great flavors and a ton of meat on the sandwich. The double drive-through was super efficient we were in and out of there in just a few minutes. Highly recommended.
