This is our second time back. Both times we've had great fresh food and great service. We're not German, but we've been there, and this food takes us back. Very clean and comfortable.

I had to try this place being that it was taste of Berlin, and I wasn't let down. I'm a big fan of German food, obviously because I'm German, and it's just great food. Having lived in Berlin, I have had some staple Berliner dishes. While I didn't see any of those staples here, I did have some really great food. I tried the Königsberger Klopse (meatballs with a bitter cream sauce), which were served with a bed of mashed potatoes and rot kohl. The gravy was perfectly balanced between creamy and bitter, and the meat balls were excellent. The rot kohl was a little sweet for me, but still was tantalizing, but it would have been better home made. The mashed potatoes were excellent and fresh made. The owners are hospitable, and greeted us, they actually are from Berlin, so that made it a nice touch. They have a German beer selection that was pretty much on par with any average restaurant you would eat at in Berlin. The decorum is pictures of Berlin with signs and other knick knacks hanging around, think Fridays but german focused. Over all it was some great food, traditional German dishes, that were prepared well, and allowed me to feel like I was back in Germany if only for a short time.

Let me start by saying I love German food! I worked for a German company and spent some time in Munich and have had the real deal. The food here was ok but everything kind of tasted the same. They seem to use a lot of nutmeg. When I taste nutmeg in almost anything I know it has no flavor and they are trying to give it flavor.

I started with a nice German Beer, and the Potato soup with vegetables and German Sausage, a nice starting point of what was yet to come. My father had a German classic, Jäger Schnitzel, and I had the daily special, a Trio Platter consisting of Berliner Kohlroulade which was meat stuffed inside cabbage with bacon gravy, Bratwurst Sausage with homemade sauerkraut, and the Schweinebraten which was a Bavarian pork roast with bread dumplings and red cabbage with mashed potatoes. I honestly cannot remember what my stepmother had to eat, but I did taste it, and it was very good. For dessert, I had some German coffee, and the Berliner Apfelstrudel with whipped cream and Vanilla Ice Cream. Enjoy folks

This is what you would eat in Germany. Food is good tasty and well presented . Decor is slightly kitschy, German flags road signs and German flag aprons. All that said it is a place that I would go again.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. The food is authentically German. They also have a very good selection of German beers. I had the sauerbraten which came with sour red cabbage and I also ordered some spaetzel on the side. The food was perfectly prepared and the service was excellent from some very authentically German waitresses. I recommend it highly.

Having read some previous reviews I was really expecting an outstanding meal and a good value. We arrived early and were greeted warmly for our reserved table. The owner showed us to our table and told us to put our cakes and presents on an adjacent counter. I'm not an expert on german cuisine, but as far as I'm concerned, if you've eaten one brat, schnitzel, wurst, or stuffed cabbage or red cabbage you've had them all. I guess that German food just doesn't impress me. A seven dollar Octoberfest beer was simply a rip off. Service was great food was ok. We are a group that's meets monthly for dinner and drinks, and often bring cakes for birthday celebrations. Until today, we have never had an issue in the past twenty five years when asking for plates and utensils for our homemade cakes. In these cases the servers are always happy to provide, and are amply tipped. This was the only time ever that when we asked the waitress for some forks to eat our homemade cake we were advised by the waitress that they had deserts on the menu and they did not usually accommodate , but she would ask the owner. The owner, who had told us earlier where to put our gifts and cake, came to tell us they would not provide us forks since they had deserts on the menu. Needless to say that put a damper on our otherwise enjoyable experience, and we were forced to leave. Apparently in Germany bringing cakes is not acceptable. Great start , poor finish.

Food was great and so was the service! We both ordered different types of schnitzel and they were both cooked perfectly. Mine came with the homemade spaetzle and his with some potatoes. Both of the sides were delicious and cooked and seasoned perfectly. We also ordered a side of the red cabbage. That is a must try when you go there. It was tangy and sweet and just delicious. Our server was very nice and from Germany as well so we had a great time chatting. You won't be disappointed!

Service was great, very attentive. Love that the chef comes out to talk to you. I had the beef goulash and she had the pork schnitzel special. Both were very good.

I have eaten at Taste of Berlin several times, the service is good, but the food the last two times has been hit and miss. The pork schinitzel was tough and chewie. Also if you happen to get seated by the window while the sun is setting it will be HOT. They must skimp on the A/C, we were sweating finishing our dinner. Update: Went back one more time this time the lady with the brite ORANGE hair was rude while seating us,so we left. I will drive to the other German restaurants in the bay area rather then to return to this place. Cafe Vienna in ST Pete, the German Restaurant in holiday or the german restaurant in s Tampa on Mc dill, any of these place treat you better and the food is better at all of these places. What so funny is that the first time I visited this restaurant they made sure to tell me how Mike from the now closed Schnitzel house treated his guest's horribly and people were so glad they had a new place to go,well go somewhere else if you want to be treated like a customer don't go to the Taste of Berlin.

I meant to type this weeks ago, but I now have time since the holidays are over. Here it is! I like this place a lot. I went for dinner a few weeks back and I liked that they served baguette slices when we were looking at the menu. I also really enjoyed the spread they serve with it (I don't know what it's called, but it's delicious). HOWEVER, I did NOT like that I was told that if I wanted more bread I would have to pay for it (they only served me 3 slices of the baguette, so think 2 inches in diameter, but in their defense they also had two tiny triangular pieces of a darker kind of bread. So five total isn't all that bad--sarcasm). I understand having to pay extra for bread, but for such a tiny quantity more, I don't think it's worth $1.50. There weren't many people in there to begin with, so try as I did, I definitely couldn't find a reason they would have to charge. I ordered the kohl roulade and it was exquisite. I even told the chef when he came to greet the consumers (excellent etiquette, by the way) that it was outstanding. It tasted as good as the way I used to have it when I lived in Germany. My husband ordered the Konigsberger klopse, which he agreed was just as excellent. The food there is amazing, and because the menu items are gourmet, the prices are reasonable. However, I went back to eat there one day during the lunch hour and brought my child with me. The waitress accommodated us very well-- she brought a styrofoam cup with a straw for my daughter to prevent breaking a glass, and it was easier for her to sip on because she could hold a glass with two hands. She smiled and made light, friendly conversation, and was very quick with our orders and made sure to check on us to see if we needed anything (I think she was our favourite one. I don't remember her name, but she had blonde hair). Our waitress was a very nice woman. With that being said, I am a native German, so of course I'm fluent in the language. When I went to the restroom (I left my husband with our daughter), I could hear the woman with the orange hair talking to a waitress about her disdain for children and some of the other customers. I also heard another cook (he wasn't the chef that came to ask how the food was cooked-- it was someone I had never seen before) ask why someone would order a hamburger at a German restaurant. He seemed very angry when he said "if you want a burger go someplace like MacDonald's or something. This isn't fast food!" I very much understand this logic, but I have some advice for the people who work/own this business: ***Please do NOT forget that if you are working at a German restaurant, chances are there will be German-speaking customers. If you are going to talk about the people who are paying to eat there, try to do it in the back where we can't hear you. It is really rude to talk about how much you hate children or make snide comments about what people order. ***If it's on your menu, expect it to be ordered sometimes. If you're aware that you're not running a fast food restaurant and have an issue with people ordering the burger, don't put a common fast food item on your menu. ***Three slices of bread is not enough. I'm not complaining about the bread, I just have an issue with having to pay extra for another set of tiny pieces of bread. It isn't fancy bread or even breadsticks, it is just a plain baguette that you could get at Publix. I suggest that if we have to pay for more bread, either have larger portions of bread as an appetizer (with that delicious spread-- DEFINITELY worth paying for!), or just don't serve the tiny bread pieces at all. I'm rating this as 3 stars. I would like to rate it as 5 because the food is so delicious, but the staff assuming that talking about the customers in German is a safe way to say mean things about them is just plain uncouth. I recommend the food because it's incredibly delicious, but some of the staff should really learn some manners, or talk about what they don't like about their customers in the back where we can't hear you. Being rude translates into any language. Be more careful what you say and especially WHERE you say it.

Excellent food. Schnitzel was great, goulash, red cabbage, and spaetzel was great. Hot mulled Christmas wine was great

I hope this place lasts longer in this location than the previous occupant. They have the classics of saurbraten, Wienerschnitzel, and sausages. They listed an apple strudel with vanilla sauce and some optional whipped cream and ice cream which sounds great. I liked the saurbraten. I will be going back to try the Wienerschitzel.

Went their yesterday for my Birthday! Had really not planned to go there, but the German flag in front attracted us. Perfect and very friendly service....but the food and the beer was outstanding. Even my wife who is not a meat girl, was overwhelmed. Just PERFECT. Coming back soon!

Food and service was great. They've only been open about a month and don't have a liquor license yet. The owners make sure to personally check with you. The spatzle was very good and of course the pork schnitzel was tasty. Will definitely be going back.

Ran in for a menu and returned as soon as we were able. The aromas draw you back. The hints of spices and herbs that waft from the kitchen are enough to make you want to set up a tent. Came back for a dinner that was enjoyed thoroughly I had the pork tidbits with mushrooms and gravy that were perfectly seasoned with pepper. My husband had the goulash and we spent dinner tasting each others veg. My dish was accompanied with bread dumplings and his with red cabbage and sauerkraut. We enjoyed a side of potato salad (Berlin style - meaning cold) not the usual Bavarian Hot Potato Salad. Choice of three desserts rounded out our meal. Both owners make a point of greeting and checking in with all customers and the other staff was most helpful. Already planning our next visit, which will be soon. If you like good food, well prepared, then you'll want to spend an evening here.

Great for a quick, hearty, authentic German meal. We've been twice now and will continue to go back. Love the schnitzels, and the desserts. Good specials, and a good price. And they do serve beer and wine now.

Ausgezeichnet! We have been looking for a good German restaurant to open in Brandon and here it is. The dining area seats about 40 or so with a few tables for outdoor seating/smoking area. We were greeted warmly even with a baby in tow. The owner/chef (?) is from Berlin and moved to Florida within the past few months. He came over, greeted us, and thanked us for coming. We ordered sweet tea and water to drink. No beer or wine, but you can bring your own! The water tasted great -- unlike many other restaurants in Brandon. We were given bread with two types of spreads -- one was a sour cream-chive type spread and the other a tomato butter spread. Both were quite good. We ordered Rindergulasch (beef goulash) which came with red cabbage and homemade spaetzle and Berliner Kohlroulade (stuffed cabbage rolls) which came with bacon gravy and mashed potatoes. The little one ate schnitzel (pan-fried pork) with homemade ketchup and we ordered vegetables instead of french fries. It was all amazing. The roast in the goulash was tender, the red cabbage was tart and sweet, and the spaetzle was buttery. The cabbage rolls were enormous and two of them were served. The gravy on them was savory and perfect for the heartiness of the meat inside. We polished off the meal with fresh dessert consisting of a thickened berry compote and vanilla cream sauce. Light, refreshing and like the rest of the meal, excellent. The food rivaled what we had when we visited Germany -- it was authentic, well-portioned, and all-in-all fantastic. We visited on the second night they were open and it ran really smoothly. One point I'd recommend is moving the smoking tables further away from the front door. We sat close to the door and the smoke wafted in fairly often. Other than that, we will be back very soon -- probably this coming week.

Very tasty German specialties. Quite pricey and the atmosphere is a little hokey but the schnitzel is top drawer. My wife and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Such a cute little restaurant with a lot of personality! Decided to go here on a Friday early evening, the restaurant had 2 other tables of people, they ask everyone if they have a reservation and as we were there and the place filled up I could see why, it was getting busy! Very nice and helpful staff greeted us and led us in the right direction on the menu, food was great, I'm just glad we got there early. I will make a reservation when we return if it's during peak time again, it is a small restaurant. The dessert is great too, all made on site not frozen and thawed out-yay!

I went there with my family after we checked into Walk Thru Bethlehem and we had about two hours to kill until our number came up. We already ate dinner somewhere previously, so we figured we would get an appetizer and share it among our family (me my wife and two boys). So it came time to order and when I tried to order the Kuriwurst meal ($13) for us to split, I was asked "is that all?" I said no, we might get desert and we are going to get some beverages. She then informed me that there is a "sharing fee" of $3 if I share my meal with my wife and kids! This of course bothered me, so I decided not to get the meal, and we only ordered drinks and a desert. The entire time we were there the owner (at least I thought she was) gave us dirty looks, it seemed she didn't like kids. Our kids are very well behaved, and one of the waitresses even said so. Regardless, when one of their favorite customers were leaving (the people they smiled at and talked with), they turned off the music. So we were kind of left there with no music, as a hint to leave. Which we did. I personally think a sharing fee is ridiculous. If there is a business problem where a restaurant feels it had to punish customers for sharing with kids, then there is a bigger issue. Besides, annoying customers isn't exactly thr best business model. They also have a cash only policy for anything under $20. I am sure the food is great, but people don't always eat for the food. They want a good German experience as well. I used to live in Heidelberg and Stuttgart, and I didn't feel this place was as friendly as the places I am used to. That is my two cents. Kind of disappointed, would like to have enjoyed some Kuriwurst.

I lived in Germany for 1.5 years and the food at Taste of Berlin was the most authentic I've come across in years. The service was awesome, friendly and the experience was very warm. I will go back every time I crave great German food.

This one of our favorite places to eat in Brandon! To say the food is delicious is an understatement. Their schnitzel and brats are great. I also enjoyed the pork stuffed with cabbage. The owners are the cool and one of the servers; a true family restaurant. Their kids menu is also very good. Both of our kids (7 and 4) like coming here as much as we do. It is a small place and can get busy during peak times. So if you do have kids, coming early is a good idea. Whether you live here or are visiting, and enjoy true German food, this should definitely be on your list.

  • Mike H.

Wonderful German food. I love the schnitzel, the stuffed cabbage; my wife is crazy about the rindergoulash. Haven't had a bad meal there yet. And if you're lucky enough to go when the Black Forest cake is on the menu, order it!!

  • Vaska R.

What such a great German restaurant is doing in the middle of nowhere-sprawl but it's a welcome sight. The wienershnitzel is crisp without being dry or greasy, the sausages are the real thing, and the sauce for the sauerbraten is spot on. Avoid the fries, which will ruin the taste of everything else, and get the spaetzel instead along all the beer you can manage unless you're driving. The place becomes crowded quickly so reservations on most nights is a must.

Hubby suggested trying German food for our usual Friday night out. I must admit I was a bit afraid. Having has German food only once before (At Epcot), I was not jumping for joy to give it another try. What a pleasant little place this was. Owned and run by real German people who were a complete delight. They explained their menu with enthusiasm and pride. I was loving this place before I even ordered my dinner. I ordered The Berlin Kohlroulade with mashed potatoes and bacon gravy. This is a stuffed cabbage dish (similar to Polish Golumpkis) consisting of a mixture of ground pork & beef with German spices. No fillers like rice or bread, all meat. Mashed potatoes were smooth and piping hot and the Kohlroulade was covered with a bacon gravy. OMG,, it was awesome. I loved it. I also ordered a side of the red cabbage since all the reviews on Yelp were raving about it. They weren't lying. Hubby says every time I took a bite I went mmmmm !!! Hubby enjoyed his Schnitzel (chicken fried pork!!) and Spaetzle (a kind of pasta dumpling that I believe they fried. I did not care for this!), but he was very happy with it. A nice assortment of German beer was on hand,, and yes, Dear Yelpers, they serve Coke products !!! Yeah ! Needless to say we will definitely return for another taste of Germany!!! I did not feel like I was in a restaurant, but rather having dinner in a friend's dining room. Wonderful !

There is no better German food in Brandon or the Tampa Bay area... although there are few German cuisine options so that doesn't mean much. So the food is excellent, but it is a little pricey for the portions and lackluster ambiance. I would also prefer to see the beer menu expanded. I can't say that any of that stops me from savoring the food here over and over again. Sausage, spaetzle, and Warsteiner is always a solid choice!

Good food and good beers. I could've given this place a five star but the place really needs a better parking lot. But other than, this place is awesome.

I love that the minute I walked in the door I was greeted by a mid-40's woman with apple red hair and a thick German accent. She was so quintessentially German that I knew I was going to get the real deal here. I ended up getting a schnitzel sandwich that was amazing! Fried lightly with a ton of flavor that wasn't too heavy. I was seriously eye-balling the German chocolate cake with ice cream that floated past me but resisted the urge since I was going back to work and didn't want to enter a food coma. I can't wait to take my hubby here who lived in Germany for a few years during his military career. I am positive he would love it.

A PLEASANT SURPRISE !! After seeing their SUV (wrapped in advertisement) in a parking lot by accident, we wrote down the name and address for a later visit. A few days later while in the area, we decided to have dinner there about 8 PM. It was very, very good and FAST..... 10 minutes after the order was placed. Excellent service. Slightly above average but quite worthwhile. We'll be back.

A new favorite German restaurant we finally got to in Brandon. Not easy to find a few blocks off of Brandon Blvd/Autobahn. Worth the diversion. Seemingly all the staff were family and German. All the beer and wine options were imported, and the menu had all the standard schnitzels and wursts and several other fine offerings, including sauerbraten, currywurst, meatloaf, meatballs with savory sauce, spaetzele, etc. I loved the goulash soup with knockwrost and potato salad, and my wife enjoyed the meatballs. Several great looking desserts we could not handle at lunchtime. Servide was prompt, friendly and help with some nice German photography/art to set the tone. Some specials planned for 2nd week of Oktoberfest.

We went here for Valentine's dinner after reading so many good reviews, & my boyfriend often talks about how much he loves German food. What an overpriced disappointment. There is no ambiance to this place...a brightly lit cafe style hole in the wall. If they at least dimmed the lights it would have been something. We started with the bratwurst appetizer at $11 for what amounted to 4 end pieces of sausage that was 'flowered' at the end to look pretty but resulted in a dry overcooked sausage. We didn't understand for $11 why we didn't at least have the equivalent of 2 whole sausages. My boyfriend ordered a side salad for $4 which came out on a small saucer and was nothing but a little iceberg lettuce with a couple slices of cucumber and some shredded carrot. For the entrées I had the Sauerbraten (roasted beef with gravy), dumplings and red cabbage. The dumplings was sliced grossness of almost like a bread pudding except denser. My boyfriend had the Jager Schnitzel which was nice and tender, but the spaetzle was made like 'worms' of potato that was fried and tasteless. We decided to give the apple strudel a try since it looked so good, but again highly disappointed. The crust was too thin and very doughy, the apples under seasoned. We had a total of 3 beers with the meal. We about went into shock when the check came out....a total of $79! For that price we certainly would have expected to have had a much better meal!! We will not be going back. My boyfriend, who has had much better German food, made by Germans as well, agreed with my impression. Sorry to say, overpriced, underwhelming food.

Great place! I went with a group of friends, everyone was happy with what they ordered. I am a vegetarian and boy I felt like I'll be having the house salad since everything had meat. However the waitress easily recommend their vegetarian/vegan dish which is basically a combination of veggies. Wow! It was amazing! I'll be back for the veggies.

As someone that lived in Germany for a few years this place is authentic. The owners moved from Germany a few years ago and make amazing food. I ordered the Jäger Schnitzel which has gravy with mushrooms. Their salads are fresh and it love that they have great German beer. If you're looking for authentic German place this is definitely the place to go!

What a great place! Thus is a must in Brandon! Food is very authentic, makes you really feel like you're in Germany. When my favorite things is how the food comes out extremely hot, just a tremendous job on the presentation and food quality. If you're looking for a good meal and a fair price equally extremely good value this is the spot to go.

Excellent! The rundergulasch is amazing, spaetzle is traditional German, and the German chocolate cake is to die for! It's a little pricey but worth it!

This place is ridiculously good. We needed a new place to try out for dinner the other night, so we tried out Taste of Berlin and weren't disappointed. My fiancee got the Schnitzel Jaeger Art, and I got the Hackbraten, both were insanely delicious. I also got a cup of the potato soup, which was fantastic. So many restaurants load their soup up with salt, but this one let the ingredients do all the talking. To top it all off, we got a slice of warm German chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream that was to die for! They also have a solid selection of great German beers, as well. We'll definitely be coming back.

This place is the most authentic German food I've had since I was stationed there. The staff was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. I had the cordon blue schnitzel with fried potatoes (which was amazing) and my husband had the Jager schnitzel with fries. Our daughter, who is a picky eater, even loved her regular schnitzel. I would recommend getting a reservation, especially on the weekend, because it is a very small place and they fill up quickly.

  • Thomas D.

We went early on a Saturday evening and were promptly greeted and seated. This place is lacking a lot of the clutter I've seen at other German restaurants. They have a small but good beer selection. Everything we ordered appeared to be made in house, sausages, sauerkraut and bread dumplings. The sauerkraut was sublime, the best I've ever had. The dishes came out individually as the kitchen finished them. The food wasn't overly heavy feeling like I've experienced at other German restaurants. We finished with a warm plum crumble cake that was delightful.

I was hesitant to try this place for the first time when suggested by my friend but I must say I am glad I did! I haven't had genuine German food but this was delicious. We both had the Jägerschnitzel mit spätzle as recommended by the waitress. I ate the entire plate of food ... and not just because I was hungry. The pork was fried and crispy. The spatzle and mushroom sauce was the perfect accompaniment. We tried the apple strudel for dessert and were not impressed. In fact we only ate one half of it and would not order it again. It was not sweet and seemed to be pre-made and reheated. The staff was amazing. They were very friendly and explanatory, making our first experience easy. The owner/chef even came out to visit our table and chat with us while we ate. I am anxious to get back to try more authentic German food. If this visit characteristic of what to expect, I will quickly become a regular at this establishment. Note: They are open for lunch and dinner most days but they do close for a few hours in between.

Wunderbar! This place is a gem. It's an oasis of really great food and killer beer. I wish it was in Lakeland, but its worth the drive. The kids will like it too! Enjoy.

Had dinner last night at Taste of Berlin for the first time. Nice greeting from Stella who was very helpful with the dishes and beer selections. Potato soup and schnitzel appetizers were excellent. Wife had schnitzel and I had the brats and mashed potatoes. Large portions and great taste. Highly recommend for good comfort German food.

Our food was excellent. I was a little disappointed with the no substitutions policy. I don't think there should be an issue subbing one starch for another. I think our waitress was new so hopefully the service will be better next time. I definitely plan to go back.

A great find for the Brandon area. I had the veal special and my guests each choose a different entree. Everything was delicious. We all agreed that the red cabbage was the best we ever had.

I love German food and I was definitely not disappointed when my fiance's family and I came here. We all ordered something different off the menu and no one had anything left! Usually a good sign. I ordered the schnitzel with spaetzle. Both were cooked perfectly. The bite of sauerbrauten I tried was flavorful and hearty. The red cabbage is a must try! The chef came and said hello and our server (family member?) was very attentive. Prices were moderate- about the same as other German restaurants in the area, but a more cozy homestyle feel and less busy/social drinking related. Nice to have this close to home!

The beer and food are overpriced. Decent beer selection but not much to rave about. The atmosphere as well as the food seemed rather authentic but it did not warrant the high prices. Would not go back again.

Mr. Dunderbak's who? Found this place via Yelp a month or so ago. The boyfriend works near this place, so he and some co-workers tried it out a few weeks ago and he brought home leftovers. Loved it. Jaeger schnitzel win. Tonight we decided to do some takeout from this establishment and I was excited to try out my own order from the menu. My dish? The Hackbraten. I love meatloaf. I almost got the cordon bleu until I read that the Hackbracken comes with bacon gravy. BACON GRAVY, you guys! Verdict? I'm so full and I want to go put more on my plate just for the taste. So delicious. My ONLY complaint is that their Black Forest cake has coconut; which I am allergic to. I had one bite of it and it is absolutely delicious. I'd love to try out one of their soups and sausages next round.

I give such a low score because this restaurant was a favorite of ours but we (a party of 2) were just turned away with no explanation. Seemed a bit busy but there were three empty tables! We have had repeated "rude" service but always overlooked it because the food was good. We won't be returning.

Potato soup is very good! schnitzel & spaetzle very good & filling, the fries & fresh red cabbage is very good too... Service was friendly & patient since we didn't make a reservation & didn't know what to get at 1st... I would recommend trying this place & if your not driving order the MAS size beer of your choice ! Gut Apetite !

Authentic, well-prepared food, served at proper temp and without a long wait. Decor is not impressive, but the food is worth it.

Wonderful service, authentic German cuisine, a gem within the Brandon Area. The portions are generous and makes it worth the money. The schnitzel is tender and the potatoes are flavorful. We will be back.

The food is excellent! If your looking for Great German food this is the place, recommend the Jäger Schnitzel and Currywurst. The location is off the beaten path; however, the food is authentic and worth the trip!

This place is absolutly amazing. I grew up in Stuttgart, Germany and this food is better than the food when I lived in Germany. The wait staff is very friendly and will go out of your way to help you decide what you want to eat. The Mass Bier (liter beer) was a little pricy but I would pay good money for a great German beer.

This was not what I expected. It was even better than I expected! I ordered the Sauerbrauten ( my first time to have that). The roast beef was so tender, and the gravy was to die for. I highly recommend this place!
