I admit I stayed away from this place because of the reviews, however it is very good. Our waitress was extremely nice, the food was also fantastic. I had a perfect cowboy ribeye, and my wife had the petite fillet which was also exactly how she wanted it. I have nothing bad to say.

I've been to Stonewood a number of times and always enjoyed my meal and service. The atmosphere is very nice (like an upscale Tavern) and they have a nice bar area where it always seems filled with people. I recommend their steaks and usually the specials are very good. I recently even got a bacon burger and that was good. This is an upscale restaurant and the food reflects that. When you have good chefs who work their magic then the experience is fabulous. They recently re-worked their menu with the favorites still present.

I was invited to Stonewood tonight; Googled it because i've never heard of it. I was worried because the reviews were all negative, but I had a very positive experience. Our waiter was friendly and appropriately attentive. The food was delicious, and I wasn't able to eat everything on my plate. (I had a small steak, garlic mashed potatoes, and creamed spinach.) I also tried the clam chowder as an appetizer, and it was good as well. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was pleasant; will definitely be eating there again!

We recently moved to Lithia from New Tampa & figured that the food & service in the Stonewood on Bruce B. Downs was exceptional, it would be the same here..WRONG! My in-laws live in NY & only visit for the holidays, so we see them ONCE a year. We've been DYING to take them here and figured it would be the perfect place for my birthday dinner. We get there & are seated right away. The waiter was great, no complaints about him. We look over the menu, he comes back takes our order. Now I usually get the shrimp & scallop SKEWERS but replace the shrimp with another scallop skewer, it's a small extra charge but i don't like their shrimp & the wait explains that he will give me one skewer of all scallops. I explain that it says "skewers" and that the other one gives me two. He says he's never heard it done that way, so I say fine & drop the issue.... We order our apps (I got the Blue Cheese Potato chips.. AMAZING!!) & 15 mins later he comes out with them. They are great. He comes back when we are done & clears our plates, and here's where the meal goes downhill.. We waited about 35 minutes before the waiter came over to explain there was a mix up in the kitchen & they are working on getting our food out ASAP. Why did it take him 35 minutes to come and tell us this?? Granted, we kept ourselves busy, but come on! He finally comes back out 15 minutes later (now it's been almost an hour since our apps) with our food. I dig into my corn risotto and it's crunchY & I only have one skewer of scallops on my plate... I try my mother in-laws risotto.. it's semi crunchy. My father in-law got the chicken pot pie which is basically creamy chicken soup with a puff pastry placed in the center. My husband gets the lamb chops, eats 2, they are fine, last three are raw (he ordered medium rare) & really bad cuts. My husband tracked down the waiter (couldn't find him for like 20 minutes) and basically says "Worst meal I've EVER had.", my husband is not one to complain, but not only was the food horrible, but my birthday dinner was ruined and this upset him. The manager comes over asking what was wrong, we explain that the risotto is undercooked on both meals, I only got the one skewer when I clearly asked for two (you get two (shrimp & scallop) with the meal in the Tampa Palms Location) & my husband showed him the lamb chops.. The manager could not believe how under cooked & how bad of a cut they were. He apologized over and over again & asked if he could get us new meals. At this point it was late, the restaurant started to get loud to the point we couldn't hear each other talk at audible levels (they sat a very large party of drinkers next to us, so as the night went on & more drinks were consumed, they got louder..) . We were just disgusted with everything. We politely declined & he offered us free dessert of our choice (I have to admit, the chocolate bread pudding is AMAZING!!), we again politely declined & asked for our check. The manager brought the check back himself & comped our meals, only charging us for our apps & drinks. Sadly, my in-laws will NOT go to another Stonewood (we're willing to drive up to Tampa Palms..) and my husband & I have stayed away from this one. I've also warned friends who want to eat at this one to stay away.. Funny moment out of all this?? My father in-law questioned why we just couldn't go to Macaroni Grill.. the service at the one we took them to was amazing on top of amazing food..

I just walked out of this place today . I have not been here in a few years because the first time I went, there was nothing spectacular about it . Today was no different . An app led me to this place today due to advertised specials . Of course the app had the wrong information and of course the manager on shift today could not ? Would not honor the advertised offer on the Go Time App for happy hours on the I-phone . I thought this kind of situation is what managers are for ? Anyways , with soooooo many other wonderful restaurants in the Brandon area , I guess it will be another few years before we give this place another chance to get it right . Maybe the third time will be the charm ?

I was absolutely surprised by the mediocrity of this restaurant. After reading some of the reviews, I guess my expectations were too great. We found the food to be very average, if not below average in some ways. My steak tasted very grilled to the point of having the taste of the meat overwhelmed by the grilling itself. It had a charred, almost burnt taste, even though it was prepared medium as I had requested. My wife's salmon had an orange glaze, but came very spicy and this was not indicated anywhere on the menu. Add to this slow service and a largely non-personable wait person, and you get a largely forgettable dining experience.

Delicious and fresh! We go here for date night and are never disappointed! They actually cook our steaks to order, they way they should be, and the fish specials are usually outstanding with great flavor! We love the blue cheese stuffed olives from the bar, too. Service is prompt and pleasant. Its a great place for a nice, quiet, date night.

Wow I'm really surprised at the bad reviews. My husbands and I ate at Stonewood last Saturday night and it couldn't have been better we were both impressed. The food was great, we had flatbread, wine, grouper, pork chops and the orange cake. And our server was also great, he even gave us his card to ask for him next time. The staff was extremely cordial also, even on the phone when I called for the reservation.

My wife and I went here for our Anniversary, and enjoyed it very much. On the downside, there was too much noise coming in from the bar area - but other than that - the food was excellent, the staff was friendly and the owner came by to check on us. I would go there again in a heartbeat.

Great date night. Arrived to find 1 hour wait -- no problem, grabbed a table in the bar. Wife and i shared two apps -- homemade potato chips covered in blue cheese -- VERY good. Also had a steak flatbread thing with more blue cheese. Also very good. With drinks, that was enought to eat so we finished with a lemon cake desert (seasonal I think). was great. Service was good (for the bar area -- don't expect great service in a bar, too busy). The manager stopped by to check on us but not in the fake "how is everything folks" (why do they always say folks??). He was warm and sincere and we appreciated it. Great place!

I just went to this restaurant with my mother. I have to say, I am definitely a fan! The mood is of the restaurant is a little upscale but not too fancy. The service was excellent and the manager came by to ensure that we had a good experience. That, to me, is a detail that is really important. My mom and I both had the Mahi Mahi and it was excellent. It was cooked to perfection and the fish was flavorful and moist (that's the worst word ever). All in all, I'm definitely a fan and will recommend this place to my friends. It's also reasonably priced.

Definitely one of my favorite Steak houses/ Restaurants in Brandon, HANDS DOWN! The Buffalo Shrimp is a mix of perfectly/lightly coated fried shrimp with a mild buffalo glaze blue cheese sauce and blue cheese crumbles. The filet is always perfect great flavor. The new shrimp and lobster ravioli is a palette pleasing blend of nice sized chucks of lobster and shrimp stuffed ravioli in a delicious cream sauce accented with sun dried tomatoes. Make sure you end your meal with the orange sunshine cake too!!!

Incredible!!!! The wasabi crusted salmon was excellent! The lobster and shrimp ravioli was excellent! Both are Part of the special. We may need to come back again soon to partake of this special again. Their salads are great as we'll - very big with real nutritious greens. This is the best meal I've had in Brandon/Bloomingdales in months. Very good!

Awesome experience! Went there for the first time this past Father's Day and I had to write a review. My steak was perfectly cooked and flavor was amazing! Calamari was delicious! Salads were perfect and service was first class! Will absolutely be back! Thanks again to Mark for taking great care of us!

really thought, upon walking in, that this was going to be another one of those typical "concept chain" restaurants.....i was wrong. the menu, although simplistic, offers up great offerings of grilled seafood, steaks and other options. the smoked salmon appetizer was AMAZING! i really expected thinly sliced pieces of lox style salmon, instead it was a thick piece of a chilled, smoked salmon fillet - simply delicious!! so were the buffalo shrimp. NOT a basket of deep fried popcorn style shrimp, but 7 large shrimp served tails up, with buffalo sauce and bleu cheese crumbles.....my grilled n.y. strip was delicious, perfectly cooked and served with creamed spinach and mashed potatoes - i've paid more for steaks in other restaurants and this one was worth twice the price! buttery, well seasoned and juicy! the martinis are so cheap - $8 - $9! i'm used to paying upwards of $14! our server ANDREA was a pleasure. so endearing, attentive and super friendly! overall i have to say we were totally surprised by this restaurant and plan to keep this on our roster of favorites!!

Martinis. Need I say more? Fantastic, delicious, safiaticated, real martinis. Real blue cheese stuffed olives. And the food is great too. The best filets, wood grilled salmon, whipped potatoes, and much more. Try the Mediterranean grilled veggie mix with goat cheese on top of your meal. The service is excellent. A little pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. First class all the way.

This was the second time I've eaten at this Stonewood (the brandon location). My first experience was several years ago when they first opened and was not good. Service was bad, food was overpriced and really nothing special. Based on several recommendations we decided to try it again tonight. Once again, our service was terrible, the food wasn't good and the bill was very high. 3 of us ordered salads as starters and I ordered the clam chowder. The salads all came, but my chowder didn't. Unfortunately, the food was delivered by someone other than our waiter and our waiter never came to check on us. I tried flagging her down twice and finally had to shout out to get her attention to come over but by this everyone was done with their salads and the main course was being delivered. So the soup was delivered after our main course arrived. I ordered the Steak Salad which was a huge disappointment! The steak that was on the salad appeared to be scraps and most of it was un-edible due to the tough grizzle. I've had much better steak salads at Longhorn and Outback, even Beef O'Brady's (for half the price). The couple we were with had the grouper and their comment was, "it was ok". After all of this I get the bill and they actually charged me for the soup! We were with friends so I didn't complaint to the manager (but did write a note on my bill). The bill was @ $100 for a side salad, chowder, Steak Salad, chicken entree, 2 beers and one mixed drink. I won't ever go back.

I was just at this Brandon location for a company function. Service was awful, we had to ask multiple times for drinks and refills. I asked to see a manager, I told the server I wanted to discuss holding another larger event for 35-45 people. After 20-25 minutes I was told "THE MANAGER SAID THEY ARE TOO BUSY TO SEE YOU, COULD YOU RETURN ANOTHER DAY" ANOTHER DAY?????? The restaurant was not nearly halfway full!! The hour I was in the bar area, near the entrance I saw 6 -8 people walk in!!! It is a Tuesday.?? Wow. Taken aback, I came straight home and needed to post this on Yelp. I hope it was an isolated incident, we usually get good service but I could think of NO excuse for being treated this way. I do not like writing bad reviews but I am still shaking my head. Robert M.

Usually a great place. Tonight had Ahi Tuna - worst ever. Server told us she would have a manager visit us. Manager never showed up. Paid up and left - not sure when we will be back. Ahi had no sear at all and quality of Tuna was mediocre.

It's been a few years since my last visit to Stonewood and I'm happy to say that it has improved. The service was excellent tonight for my cousin's birthday and the waitress did whatever she could for our party, very personable and quick to fix and mishaps. The clam chowder was excellent, just like it was back in 2008. My burger was a fail of sorts, mainly because it came out well-down and charred. The Manager offered me something else on the menu, but I honestly didn't see anything in the same price range so they compensated us for the burger. Although the burger wasn't that great, everything else was and they give you pretzels with your bread...pretty neat. Their menu seems to have shrunk a bit over the years as well. I'm happy to say they now serve soft drinks in bigger cups, one of my main complaints during our last visits because it forced the waitress to constantly be nearby for refills and sometimes that doesn't happen. The waitress was great with the kids in our party and happily sang happy birthday with us to my cousin. The service really made this meal and so did the soup. Overall, Stonewood is now A-OK in my book.

We enjoy the bar for drinks and appetizers. Great atmosphere and attentive but relaxed service. For Bloomingdale area there is nothing to compare it to. The Caprese salad is a favorite.

We went on a Saturday night around 8pm to avoid children and enjoy a nice quiet steak dinner. We were seated immediately although it took the server quite a while to even come to the table to introduce herself. We ordered a drink from the bar (single-liquor on rocks), which took a bit to be delivered to the table. Crab Cake appetizer is delicious, and is the same thing as the Crab Oscar that can be put on the steak. I ordered a Filet Medium/Well and it came to the table quite rare. I chose not to send it back because I would rather not do that and just take it home to heat it. The server knew the steak wasn't cooked correctly and did what she could to make up for it. I think the back-end (kitchen) needs a little training on the "doneness" of steaks. The flavor of the steaks is great. The Prime Rib was also ordered and I was told it was really enjoyable. The Key Lime Cheesecake is also delicious. I will go back to this restaurant as well as recommend it, maybe the person cooking was having an off day.

My husband and I went there last night which was a Sunday night. Were seated immediately. We ordered lemon Chardonnay chicken and shrimp scampi with spinach and pasta. We shared both dishes. The food was excellent. Also had the stonewood grill salad - again awesome. The service was excellent as well. Ordered red sangria each - did not like it at all - because we cannot stomach cherry flavor and sangria was too sweet. The waitress immediate brought us replacement sangrias without the cherry flavoring! Truly appreciated that. On the whole a very enjoyable evening out and will definitely be going back.

Comfortable setting and interesting menu. I had the Tuscan Chicken one night and their filet mignon the next. Food was quite good and well presented. The chicken came with a thin slab of goat cheese on it, My one complaint is that the filet was not as tender as it should be. There was bit of stringy fat in the cut, when a good filet will cut almost like butter. Our waitress was awesome and very accommodating, and the staff all around is really great. Also on the upside, they do try to have interesting specials and the menu overall has something for everyone. The ambiance is also great.

Probably one of the best restaurants I have ever been...The ambience is very nice and food is just amazing. We ordered buffalo shrimp for appetizer..presentation was elegant and taste was perfect. Lamb shank came with generous portion...it's very tender and gravy was yummy..we also tried black grouper which was seasoned very well.. Finally finished our dinner with dessert..the magnificent chocolate indulgence...it's served with scoop of vanilla ice cream...very delicious..perfect way to end the dinner..!! We will definitely come back and try all other dishes.

I had the calamari and bleu cheese chips as appetizers. And for my main course I struggled between choosing between the chicken pot pie or the chop steak. In the end, beef won. The calamari are basically tenders, meaning thicker strips, versus the traditional rings. Calamari in tender form are usually more chewy so it depends on ones personal palate. It comes with a tasty sauce which is pretty much all you taste; the same with all calamari usually. The bleu cheese chips were a mountain of soggy texture chips because of the brown drizzle (balsamic?) and bleu cheese drizzle. There are also chunks of bleu cheese. It was pretty good but the chips could use a better texture. Finally, the chop steak was average for me. However, being topped with fried onion strips and mushrooms, the steak made it's way into my belly. It was also served with steamed broccoli and a scoop of mashed potatoes. The steak itself was dry but there was some sauce that helped. All in all, a great place to eat, although pricey. Friendly ambiance and great service.

My girlfriends took me here for my birthday. I have been here a couple of times and have never been disappointed, so why 4 stars because i think there food and drinks are a bit overpriced. The Bleu Chips are there House-Made Chips, Fresh Herbs, Bleu Cheese Crumbles, Balsamic vinergarett it is delicious I get that appetizer every time I go. It is done just right and taste so fresh each time. It is sinfully delicious. I have had the cedar plank salmon and filet mignon. The customer service is great and the atmosphere is relaxing and elegant
When here in the evening time and enjoyed every moment of it. The decour and dimly-lit, pleasant atmosphere is very reminiscent of a "High-end" style very good quality wood and stone style in the architecture. It almost reminds me of a Seasons 52 in a way, but with their own personality and charm. There is a full wine display behind a glass wall for customers to look at ahead of time before being seated at their table. The food is amazing and done to a high standard. The waitstaff is very knowledgeable and friendly. All in all, in the rain experience.

My husband and I really enjoy coming to this restaurant. We always order the bruschetta and ahi tuna. With the bruschetta we have always asked for them to melt mozzarella cheese on too of it. And an amazing vinaigrette comes along with it. The vinaigrette is so good that I've tried to duplicate it myself from home. :) The blue cheese is so good! I actually order that along with the bread. How many times we've has to ask for things is always dependent on the server. Sometimes we've been there going "umm seriously you just gave me 4 fries when I asked for a side of fries?" Other times the service is wonderful. Hit or miss with the service. I do like that they make the extra effort and write down your mean and date on the leftover boxes. I wish they had stonewoods in pinellas county. It's a far drive for us, so we only get to come here 1-3 times a year.

There isn't a better choice in the Brandon/Valrico area that offers better service, quality and most importantly CONSISTENCY then Stone Wood does. The manager Mark takes the time to greet his customers and always ensures high quality service and satisfaction. Some can't miss favorites are: the Buffalo Shrimp with a slightly sweet Buffalo Drizzle is lightly flour dipped and fried for a wonderful "less heavy" choice. Tavern Wings are perfectly cooked the wing sauce is just the perfect combination of sweet and spicy. Simply put.... The Burgers are AMAZING! As you would expect from a Steakhouse the Filet is well made and seasoned as well. In the mood for seafood? Try the Salmon with Lemon Beur Blanc. You absolute MUST try the Florida Sunshine Orange Cake for dessert but it is very rich so expect to share. Enjoy!!

Server was very friendly and helpful. Was my first time there, so I had plenty of questions. Ended up piecing a meal together. I decided on grilled chicken, rice pilaf, a house salad and pretzel bread. Food is a little pricey, so I wouldn't go there often.

So I was invited to my daughter best half and his family Master Degree Graduation!! Little that I knew we would be having a dinner here to celebrate!!! I'm very proficient cook since I have the best teacher as a hubby :). No only that I have a vast experience in cooking and serving in a ***** star restaurants. With that said. I was so very impressed with all staff. So professionally dressed, manner, efficiency, dedication, friendly, just to say a few... The drinks and food was coming in time manner, can't describe how taste was everything from starters to grand finally. I have to congratulate the chef for the delicious dishes and the management for such a cozy ambient to be. A long time, I mean loooog time, I don't enjoy a place and people that much, like I did today!!! I want to thank you all in behalf of Lucio's and Brooks family for being there for us making this day extra special!!!! Cheers!!! ;).

Love Stonewood Grill and Tavern! The ambiance is great, especially for a special occasion. If you want to just hang out in the bar area, that has a great atmosphere also. The dining area and bar are separated nicely no matter what you are there for. The food is very good and presentation wonderful. The service was impeccable. I would highly recommend.

I came here recently for a work dinner. This place definitely has the warm, dimly lit steakhouse feel. They have a wide variety of wine, beer and cocktails. I tried the sangria (of course) and unfortunately was a little sweet for my taste. For appetizers we had the smoked salmon, bruschetta and the blue cheese chips. I personally loved the smoked salmon and thought it was a massive appetizer and great for sharing. The bruschetta was perfect and not soggy at all. For my main course I choose the steak which was cooked and seasoned perfectly. All and all this was a great meal and a perfect place to take a group.

A hidden gem of the Brandon area that often gets overlooked based on its Bloomingdale location away from the main restaurant drag. This place has a great bar area and seating in the dining area is plentiful. The bruschetta on the appetizer menu is amazing and a must try. They are able to accommodate large groups and the staff is very accommodating and attentive.

Visited this location for my nephew's birthday. It was on a Sunday and we decided to meet there at 4pm, the time they open. My nephew and his girlfriend got there right at 4pm. When they went in the manager was the hostess stand and when asked "how many" my nephew said "8". The manager asked if he made a reservation (no we had not) and got a little nasty and said we should have so he could have enough staff. REALLY!!! There were maybe 3 other tables in the entire restaurant. If I had been there we would have left and given our money to a restaurant that would have appreciated. The food was good and our server, Bri, was very good.
I just don't get it, it was good food but not great. The prices where so high for what was offered, I just don't understand why there are so many wonderful reviews. Our waitress was not attentive and seemed annoyed that we didn't purchase an alcoholic beverage. For the money I'll go to Bern's or Ruths Chris. Very nice atmosphere, lacking on customer service from the moment you walk in.

Some great specials right now going on at Stonewood Grill of Brandon! Wasabi salmon and prime rib. Both offer salad or chowder with key lime pie for only $22 each. Along with the great service we always get here, what a deal!

We were seated immediately on a Friday evening. I am not generally someone who enjoys chain restaurants, but decided to give it a whirl. The ambiance is lovely with low lighting and dark wood. They feature their steaks primarily which according to our waiter are the "upper level of choice". Is there an upper level of choice? Anyhoo, I started with a caesar salad. Pretty average, not overloaded with dressing, and garnished with shredded parm. There were about 5 croutons, that were relatively tasty. Again, an average caesar salad, but thankfully not overdone with dressing or croutons. Disposable salt and pepper grinders are on the tables. I prefer a waiter to bring fresh ground pepper, but do it yourself is ok to. The bread basket that comes to the table is full of a delicious variety of seemingly fresh baked bread. I asked and was told that the bread comes in "partially baked" and is finished in the ovens onsite. I ordered the 12oz Prime Rib , end cut with buttermilk whipped potatoes and asparagus. My partner ordered the wood plank Salmon with rice pilaf and green beans. The prime rib arrived plated alone in au jus, and on separate plates 5 asparagus and a scoop of potatoes. The meat was a bit tough, but I expected it not to be medium as it is an end cut, and Joey, our server) had warned me that it would be as medium as possible the problem was that it arrived barely warm accompanied by horseradish cream (which I do not use) . Joey was on the spot, sent the manager even though I asked him not too, manager came and took care of business...scored big points!!! It came back wonderfully warm after an au jus bath! The flavor was great. The whipped potatoes had a hint of rosemary and though a bit dry, were nicely flavored. The asparagus was cooked perfectly and I added a bit of lemon juice for good measure. I sampled the salmon as well. It was a bit overcooked, but flavorful none the less and my partner enjoyed it so...it was a hit. I give the restaurant 4 stars because the service was amazing and responsive, not because the food was outstanding; the food was a 3 1/2.

This restaurant is very clean with a nice & romantic atmosphere. We've gone alone & with other couples & their large booths accommodate us perfectly for a great dinner with friends. The breadsticks & blue cheese potato chips are my favorite appetizers-different but delicious. The chicken, steak & lamb chops are all great & worth a try.

I've had dinner here 3 times now. With every visit our group was very pleased with every item we ordered off the menu. The cedar plank salmon is wonderful and a very generous portion. We also thought the calamari was very appealing. Don't skip the creme brulee, it is to die for!

This place is LAME!!! I took my wife here for her birthday and was severely disappointed. First of all the drinks are terrible, if you are going to put drinks like Cosmo and others on your menu, you better be able to deliver. The bartenders should be ashamed. The bruschetta with the balsamic dressing was very good, but it goes off a cliff here. The waiter service did not know what waters the fish came from on the menu, it is a big problem when certain kinds of fish are only safe to eat when they come from certain waters. The waiter tried to do a good job, but the remainder of the staff let her down. The dinner salads were very good as well. My wife had some breaded grouper with some insanely sweet sauce on it. It was inedible because of the contrast to the savoriness of the fish, very disappointing. I had the pork chops, they were kind of dry, but palatable. My problem was with the sides, I had the "creamed" spinach and green beans. The problem with the creamed spinach it was more like reheated creamed spinach that had all of the cream heated out of the spinach (it was the most vile thing I had in a long time) The green beans were raw, they were dressed, but someone forgot to put some heat on the beans. I just told them to get me some fries instead. For dessert I had the chocolate bread pudding, do yourself and pass on this, this is a overcooked chocolate muffin with a lame butter sauce. Go with the orange cake instead. This place is lame, overpriced, not worth the money (even if it was one third the price). I will never ever go here again.

Went to Stonewood, Brandon Sunday Jan 5th. We had taken my wife's father there a few months ago and he never stopped talking about how perfect the sirloin steak was. We arrived Sunday as a foursome. Damon was our server and he was very good. Drinks, and all courses arrived in timely order. All of our meals were reported as very good to super-off--the-chart-superb for Dad's sirloin. I had short ribs and thought that it was excellent. The manager did stop by our table to tell us he appreciated our patronage and asked if everything met our expectations. We go there fairly often and certainly will return.

Since the "recent" reviews are so old, thought I may add my own. We ate here about 2 months ago, and were very impressed. Prices are HIGH, but the food was exceptional and our waiter was very good also. Great place for that special date night!

(5)Marianne M.
(5)Bruce R.
My wife and I went here for our Anniversary, and enjoyed it very much. On the downside, there was too much noise coming in from the bar area - but other than that - the food was excellent, the staff was friendly and the owner came by to check on us. I would go there again in a heartbeat.
(4)Adam W.
(4)Aleema A.

(5)HR M.
Very good!
(5)Michael C.

(4)Maurya B.

Amazing food with great service! Celebrated an anniversary and enjoyed the ambiance. Thanks for the complimentary chocolate cake. Small gestures go a long way in today's world.

(3)Garth J.

(3)Jeana S.
Great place for a birthday dinner. Food was great and service (server, Sonya) was the icing on the cake.
(5)Charu J.
(5)Yarrum R.
Food was very good. Service was excellent. Definitely better than Carrabba's. It is not cheap to eat here but for special occasions, it is the place to go.
(5)Krysia K.
Reservation made on a Saturday evening. Sat immediately upon arriving. Service was fast and friendly. The decor is very well done. Food was very tasty and fresh. Priced higher.Nice atmosphere as well. We really enjoy this place.
(4)Michael F.
(3)Mahesh K.
(5)Justin D.
(3)Barbara C.
(4)Shuné D.
(5)Lex A.
(4)Robert D.
Slightly pretentious but still a pretty good date night destination. They have a nice appetizer happy hour and the service is always good. Worth the occasional visit.
(4)Charlene W.
Enjoy!!
(5)Tammy S.
Server was very friendly and helpful. Was my first time there, so I had plenty of questions. Ended up piecing a meal together. I decided on grilled chicken, rice pilaf, a house salad and pretzel bread. Food is a little pricey, so I wouldn't go there often.
(4)Michael C.
Excellent grill trout and the glazed cedar plank salmon was the best I've tasted in Tampa. Excellent supper place that's not slammed by route 60 traffic.
(4)Mike S.
Always consistent, awesome food and great service. I can't find anything on the menu that is bad so pick anything and you'll love it.
(5)Marilene D.
Cheers!!! ;).
(5)Bonnie C.
(5)Sarah B.
(4)Ameesh P.
(4)L M.
(3)Mike M.
Oh yeah. Visiting the area for gymnastics competition and decided to stop here before our 4 hour journey home. Unfortunately the wait was supposed 90 minutes....FORTUNATELY, we scoped out a table that was getting ready to leave at the bar. I'm so glad we didn't turn around and leave at first glance of the long wait. This place has amazing service and very good food. Oh yeah and since we don't normally eat dessert; we had dessert. Crème brûlée was excellent. We had the smoked salmon appetizer.. Very good. I had the prime rib, I asked for it as rare as you can get it and it came out a more than medium; I have to deduct a star for that. I had the sweet potato fries which were also good. This place is what I would consider a very rare place in a place where you wouldn't expect anything better than a chain restaurant (I have nothing against chain restaurants). The bar was hopping the place was packed the food was very very very good.
(4)Karen P.
(2)Robin M.
Some great specials right now going on at Stonewood Grill of Brandon! Wasabi salmon and prime rib. Both offer salad or chowder with key lime pie for only $22 each. Along with the great service we always get here, what a deal!
(5)Brian F.
(4)Adam J.
This is a nice place. We've been here several times and the food is always top notch. The waitstaff is great as well. I always use online reservations and never have to wait.
(5)Alejandra A.
(4)Cindi H.
I've had dinner here 3 times now. With every visit our group was very pleased with every item we ordered off the menu. The cedar plank salmon is wonderful and a very generous portion. We also thought the calamari was very appealing. Don't skip the creme brulee, it is to die for!
(5)Debbie B.
Always have an excellent meal here! Hubby had oak grilled salmon and I had crab stuffed Mahi. Absolutely out if this world. Atmosphere wonderfully relaxed after a hard day.
(5)Jeremy T.
(1)Andrea S.
Very good filet mignon. Good apps. Not a fan of their bread. Service was great. Dessert could be kicked up a notch.

(5)Patti F.
Since the "recent" reviews are so old, thought I may add my own. We ate here about 2 months ago, and were very impressed. Prices are HIGH, but the food was exceptional and our waiter was very good also. Great place for that special date night!
