I lived in Clearwater for 10 years and frequently ate at Deeya Indian Restaurant However, I moved to Apollo Beach (Brandon) area about a year ago and couldn't find anything comparable until today The owner was great. He even brought me some spicy tandoori chicken he was cooking in the back that wasn't on the buffet. They had butter chicken, which I love. The naan was nice and not. The food, service and prices are excellent I've found my new favorite Indian buffet Yummy Yummy!!!

We have frequented this joint since last year . So far the best and most authentic Indopak food in Florida! Love the folks who run it. They personally make sure you get the best service possible. The best Soji Halwa ever!!! Nom, nom, nom. Highly recommend the Sunday buffet if you are new to the cuisine. All dishes are mildly spicy.

I tried several dishes today and they were just o.k. The butter chicken is very poor. I am surpised to see others recommend it. Still, it is so hard to find decent Indian that I will return to try some more dishes.

I'm sorry but YUCK! I know my Indian food and apparently every restaurant makes it differently. Indian food must be made with high quality spices and ingrediants or it doesn't taste right. You can tell they use cheap spices because the food is terrible! the place is a total hole in the wall, which would matter if they food was good, but it's not! Bad service, never refilled our water. overpriced for quality! very limited options on buffet. I will never be going back.

We ordered lamb byriani, tandoori chicken, naan, and some candied carrot dessert. The naan was just meh. The entrees were super salty. The byriani was even spicier the next day. I could barely eat it. They skimped on the sauces, too. The candied carrots were pretty good though. I have only had this type of food twice. Once recently front Taste of India, and now here. Taste of India may cost a little more, but you get a lot more food and the quality is better. I'll try anything once before I knock it. I probably won't be eating here again.

It's okay. I have definitely had better Pakistani food. My chicken tikka was floating in oil and my friend said her mango juice wasn't fresh. My naan was way too buttery, and my friend's butter chicken tasted like tomato soup with a few spices. The rice is sold separately which I thought was odd because most places include the rice. The waiter was great and I liked how the food was served but I have definitely had better.

I was wanting something different, some real food that I don't eat every day. After searching for some restaurants in Brandon we decided on this one. The interior is modest but that's not an issue for me. We came in around 7:30 and were the only ones dining in but there were quite a few take out orders while we were there. The food was great. We had the beef keema samosa appetizer and I had the chana masala and my husband had the beef haleem. All of it was very good! We paid about $30 for that and one order of rice. Even my husband who eats like a horse at dinner time had leftovers. I really like that the food is served in it's own individual bowls and you're given plates so you can share easily. The service was fine as well. I'll definitely be back!

Great food, fresh quality and great customer service! My family and I went to this restaurant when visiting Tampa. We were craving for some good Pakistani/Indian food. This place was above and beyond our expectations and everything tasted amazing!!! The Kebob rolls were out of this world. The nihari, biriyani, chicken tikka, sheesh kebobs and everything else we ordered tasted wonderful! Will definitely visit this restaurant again next time in Tampa area.

I eat here 3 times a week, the bone in goat biryani is addictive. Rice is perfectly cooked everytime and the flavor is amazing, not very spicy but flavorful. Very Friendly owners as well.

We had butter chicken and beef nihari, it was very good. We usually drove to Orlando to have good indian / pakistani food, this is very option for us to have indian / pakistani food in tampa area. I don't like the fact that they do not give you bread with entree, you have to pay for it. Desserts were good as well. Will be back to try other items. Its best indian / pakistani restaurant in Tampa area!

I'm a foodie and I'm a regular here. This is definitely the best Pakistani restaurant in Tampa Bay. There are some Pakistani and Indian restaurants much closer to where I live, but I prefer to drive 20+ miles because Silver Spoon not only has the best Pakistani food, but their customer service is phenomenal. If you've not tried Pakistani/Indian food before, I'd recommend that you try their lunch buffet, which has an awesome selection of appetizers, vegetables, chicken, rice, lamb/beef dishes. I recently tried their Dhuan Gosht and it was scrumptious. It is a beef dish cooked with all kinds of spices and served on a sizzling hot platter. Love this place.

It was very good food and the rice pudding which I don't care for at all, theirs is the bomb digity. The nan which is bread is so good. We went at night supp no buffet but afternoon there is one. Family owned and operated a must try. I gave it four because of the decor. Really good people and Food.

Silver Spoon is a great restaurant! They have a weekend buffet with halwa puri and varying Pakistani and Indian dishes, which are all very tasty and fresh. The boti rolls and chai were awesome as well. The husband and wife owners are affable and extremely friendly. If in the mood for Pakistani and Indian food and friendly service, definitely try Silver Spoon! :)

Excellent food. The best so far in the area. There chicken Karahi and chicken biryani is one of my favorite. Food is so flavorful. If you like the buffet style, I would highly recommend. Also ordered their Kebob and the best as compare to all the restaurants in the area.
Second time eating here and love the food. Limited buffet during the week but very good. The owners are very nice and welcoming. Both times they made a point to talk to me and make sure everything was ok. Will definitely go back for the weekend buffet.

My wife and arrived late on a Sunday afternoon in Brandon and were looking for an Indian buffet. All of the buffets were closed by the very pleasant people at Silver Spoon let us phone in our order as we drove there (I had a later appointment and so was time starved). I ordered the goat curry, while my wife had palak paneer. Our bread side was wheat parathas, and we had raite and pickle achar, with chai masala to drink. My wife later also ordered gujar ka halvah.for dessert- a delicious baked carrot based dessert, which I also sampled. Over all, the flavor was excellent, the food was timely and well flavored, and all was served hot. If you want it spicy, you have to say so, since this is northern style food. Price is mid-range--fifty dollars including tip for two. no alcohol, but the tea was first rate and there are soft drinks. Well worth a visit if you are in Brandon, about 10 miles south of Tampa on Route I-75. The restaurant is on Adamo Road about 4 miles east of the interstate exit.

first time here. They have a pretty extensive menu. I decided on the lunch buffet since I am not very familar with this type of food. Lunch buffet was very good but only had a few choices All of the buffet items were very tasty and all had a little bit of spice except the butter chicken. The oweners were very nice and even offered to let me sample something from the buffet before i ordered. They both suggested that I come back another time for the dinner buffet for a greater variety of dishes. I will be back.

I have been sitting here at this place for an hour and no food yet :( they are busy but the lack of service has gotten me very irritated and I just want to find out how long they will take, once the food comes, I will be leaving. I suggest coming here for buffet so you don't have to wait for an hour. Never coming here again. This is ridiculous!

I come here frequently when I crave desi food. The owners are so incredibly nice!! I went during lunch buffet hours and tried a few items: - white rice: plain, the way I expected - butter chicken: good, tasted more Pakistani than Indian (don't know if anyone else can taste a difference) - chicken korma: good, but a lil spicy - dal: they call it dal (lentils), but it's made of red kidney beans, which counts as "rajmah" to me.... very good - mango lassi: good, but really on the sweet side.... it comes with a dollop of whipped cream - suji halwa: good, but i wouldn't order it again b/c i only like carrot halwa - chicken tikka boti: the best!!! so flavorful and yummy! prolly the best thing here! i'm drooling as a i reminisce about it. - nihari: good, but spicy - beef kabob roll: yummy! - chicken kabob roll: also yummy! - gulab jamun: the BEST!!!! i normally do not like gulab jamuns, but these were AMAZING!! - achar chicken: good, but there was more oil than gravy, which made me unhappy; also i had to order rice separately since it didn't come with it (normally other indian restaurants give you rice for free) - bun kabob with fries: was good.... it's a kabob in a bun with sliced tomato and onions... kinda spicy; fries were good - falooda: sweet drink made of rose syrup, milk, crushed pistachios, and thin noodles.... it's better than the other falooda i had in tampa, but i've had better falooda elsewhere

I've had the buffet here on several occasions, and I've been pleased every time. The last time I went, the buffet was a bit limited. However, the restaurant more than makes up for it with the excellent quality of their food. The service is quite good as well. Make sure you try their kabab rolls, as they are to die for.

Based on the beef nihari I got today I LOVE THIS PLACE. I usually go the USF area Indian places on my days off, but today at work I had an itch for Indian and there are 3 places within spitting distance of each other out in Brandon. Based on the reviews on here I decided to give it a try. The buffet was still on when I got there, but I needed take out. I got the beed nihari and lamb korma curry (to try as leftovers the tomorrow), along with some galic naan and an order of basmati rice. First of all the owner insisted I try the beef nihari as a sample before I tried it because it was spicy (which I like). Very nice gesture and after that taste I knew I had to get it. Food was ready to roll in about 10 min and I quickly got back to my desk to drive in. The naan was perfectly garlicky, and the beef had plenty of sauce and just the right amount of heat, my sinuses definitely enjoyed it . The rice was cooked just right as well and almost fragrant enough to eat on its own. The restaurant itself looked very new and extremely clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly! I can easily recommend this to anyone who enjoys Indian food. I'll try to remember to update after I dig into the lamb!

Tried their morning buffet. Food delicious and hits the mark. A bit on the salty side, but that is what makes it delicious. Service is so amazing that I don't think you can get that level anywhere. Clean, nice place and I will definitely go again.
India is the birth place of Chicken Tikka Masala and Curries. Indian foods are prepared with a blend of finely mixed spices quite popular across the region. The spices develop the rich taste in Indian food enough to boggle your mind. The ever-increasing fan base of Indian food around the New York city is steadily increasing because of the large number of Indians who traveled to the land of dreams. The Indians also brought their very own vibrant, colorful, and aromatic authentic dishes for the people in the West. While most of the Indian population is Vegetarian, Indian food is great for people who are looking for vegan or vegetarian food option. If you are a Meat lover, don't get disappointed yet. Indian food also boasts of some popular non-vegetarian dishes too. Few examples are the famous Butter Chicken, Mutton Biryani and Tandoori Chicken are enough to satisfy your taste buds.
Indian food has gained reputation all over the world especially in the United States. You can find many places serving the appetizing Indian food across all major cities in the US. India is a diverse country with different food culture originated from different parts of the country. While the Northern region boasts tandoori dishes and korma offering royal taste, the Western Ghats offers sea foods that is made in naturally sweet tender coconut milk. The South Indian food servers a quality of different dishes made from rice accompanied with spicy chutneys, curries and famous sambhar. Also, the Indian sweets are a delight to relish. If you ever want to have a burst of sugar syrup in mouth, don't forget to try few Bengali Sweets. Be it spicy, tangy, or sweet flavor, you can find everything in the Indian cuisine. Be assured that the melody of spices will surely bring delight to you.

It wasn't just me that wasn't impressed on a recent visit and it's not because of the very nice family that runs the Cafe/Diner. I say Cafe/Diner because it felt that way. Perhaps it was the prominence of the buffet servers that made me think of standing in line at school, perhaps it was the same level of napkins and plastic flatware that I'm used to at a café, perhaps it was the lack of beverages reserved for over 21s in this country but not what I call a restaurant. Perhaps I need to try the buffet but after several visits across the street at a competitor I doubt I will get to do that. Someone also might need to check the surfaces of the bathroom doors. Chicken Tikka was tasty, did not like the untrimmed lamb though.
