I go to Pho restaurants wherever I can find them when I travel as Lexington only has one and it is across the city from me. I really like my experience at this restaurant in Brandon, FL. The staff is warm and welcoming. When they found out I was from KY, they chatted me up about their experiences driving through the state. The decor is a little dated, but clean. The pho was YUM! My only comment was that the noodles were slightly undercooked, but overall very good. The egg rolls were perfect- crispy, hot and flavorful. And the sticky rice dessert is my new favorite.

I was stoked to see this place open and I am not disappointed. I am a regular. My biggest problem is how to decide what to order, because everything is amazing. Good service, too, which is unusual. My current rave is the dish including marinated pork covered by a delectable fried pork skin and a fried egg with rice and those little pickled carrots/radish. !!!!!!! A flavor explosion. The fried rice. Yes. OH yes. Noodle bowl, which my son devours. But mostly the pho, which I love with tendon, velvety and rich.

Beautifully flavored Pho with generous and well chosen ingredients. Polite and attentive service makes it easy to get in and out of for lunch. The interior is spotlessly clean. A hidden jewel.

Been anticipating a full-menu Vietnamese restaurant in Brandon for while, so naturally, I was there on opening day! Been back many times since then cause the food reminded me of how my parents would've prepare it: awesome. Try the bo luc lac! (shaken beef).

We ate here tonight for the first time. It was absoutely perfect and we will be back as often as we can. The Bun Thit Nuong was some of the best I've had and the Pho' was fantastic. The location is in the old Brandon Pizza Hut building which has been many establishments since Pizza Hut, but I really hope Pho Viet is here to stay!! Try the Vietnamese ice coffee and the rice custard for dessert! The service was fabulous and we will definitely be back!

Got the pho deluxe (#1) and it was really good- broth was flavorful and loaded with tendon, brisket, and tripe.

This afternoon was my first visit here. Ever since I visited HCMC a few years ago, I got hooked on Vietnamese food. So today I had the" regular" pho with shrimp. Who's kidding whom? There was nothing regular about it. How about "awesome?" Delicious! Flavorful piping hot broth loaded with such wonderful fresh greens, peppers, mint, sprouts and shrimp. The service was excellent, too, and the decor was simple but inviting. I look forward to my next visit and I'm getting hungry again as I write this!

My husband and I love this place and go there often. The food is very fresh and the service is outstanding! I don't eat meat, just seafood occasionally. They have several vegetarian dishes to choose from. If I want something on the menu that normally has meat in it, they are most accommodating to replace the meat with extra veggies, seafood or tofu. My most favorite dish is the veggie pho bowl...nom...nom...nom.. If you know Brandon...it's where the old Pizza Hut restaurant used to be. Every restaurant that has been there since Pizza Hut has went out of business. So if you like Vietnamese food...check them out. :-) I promise that you will not be disappointed. I sure hope they will continue to stay in business here in Brandon... Oh...and don't forget to try the Thai iced tea...they also have take out and the food is piping hot when you pick it up, Fresh & delicious...Viet Pho...Yes Please!

So this place is the bees-knees!!!! I haven't been able to find a vietnamese place that makes the pho right since I tried one in Hawaii (Pho #1). But This place.....they did it right!!! The seafood pho is out of this world; the fish balls are done right, and the most important part...the broth...it is SO tasty and delicious. Despite the outside of the restaurant, don't let that discourage you from dining in. You won't regret it! Oh and the thai-tea is the bomb!

Good but let's be clear it's no Saigon if you looking for a replacement. I enjoyed the chicken pho however, the chicken was over cooked. Almost as if they boiled the chicken prior to adding to the hot broth which really over did it. Extra star goes to the waitstaff. Each one was very pleasant and helpful. Service was prompt so I like knowing I can dine in on my lunch hour. All and all when I get the hankering for some pho I will return.

So good! Don't let the looks deceive you. I was crazing Pho soup and I have been afraid to try any since having it back home in Seattle. The soup base was so good with just the right amount cilantro, bean spouts, and other goodies! I had the brisket and my daughter had the chicken. She said it was the best meal she had had in 8 days! (We had eaten out a lot). Can't wait to go back.

Just had Sunday lunch here and it was even better than the last 2 times I was there...I must confess ,I never get much beyond the soups because they are phenomenal...Ive had Pho at 5 or 6 other places but this is the BEST Ive had by far...Since I was there last they have changed and simplified the menu which helps...They also offer an extra large bowl of soup and it is HUGE...its the size of a family salad bowl!! "I cant believe I ate the whole thing!!" We also had the combo appetizer platter which is huge and delicious...The place was busy and there were lots of Vietnamese in there eating and that has to be a good sign...I cant wait to try more things on the menu. The staff is very helpful and they are the same people Ive seen there since the place opened and that's a good sign too..

This restaurant has the best pho soup in Tampa Bay and Orlando. They also have an XL size for those with a large appetite. For me the regular size is more than enough. The only reason I did not give this restaurant 5 starts is because the decor is average/plain. Then again most Vietnamese restaurants are not known for their decor. Definitely worth a visit.

Was in the mood for some pho. Drove around my area and ended up here. Busy place which was a good sign. Ordered plain and simple beef pho to go. I love that they put everything separate. The broth, the noodles so at least when i arrived home i didnt have to eat pho oatmeal. All the ingredients were so fresh! The broth was perfect. The beef came in big long slices and tasted so fresh. Im pretty sure it came right off the cow and into the soup! Next time i will sit in and enjoy other things on the menu. They seem to take pride in their food and I like that. Definitly will be returning.

I had the Pork over rice vermicelli. The service was excellent however the meal left something to be desired. Plenty of pork and noodles but very small offering of the veggies and herbs. I will definitely give them another try after they have been open for a while.

3 of us ate here, and all of the dishes were delicious. We also had some soup, and specialty beverages . Service was absolutely excellent. Weird that out dishes all came out at separate times, but it was close enough and worth the wait . Not too big of a deal. Reasonably priced for amount of food. Hidden gem of Brandon.

I've never had the opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine before, but I'm certainly glad I tried Pho Viet. Binh was my server, and she was very helpful in sharing her knowledge of the menu. I decide on a full Vietnamese experience and went for an Export 33 for a tasty libation, the fried egg rolls as a starter, and the Pork w/ Lemon Grass and Chili sauce for an entreè. Export 33 was the first Vietnamese beer I've tried, so with no comparison, it was crisp with a light flavor and easy finish that paired well with the spicy main course. The egg rolls were ok, more like a spring roll in my humble opinion, and the filling was less than exemplary. The accompanying sauce was thin but flavorful, a welcome addition and the saving grace of the dish. The Pork with Lemon grass and chili sauce was outstanding! Great flavor profile, well rounded with plenty of spice, crisp and fresh onions and peppers, a refreshing addition of fresh cilantro, and a slightly sweet aftertaste. Served with a side of perfectly steamed white rice, and this was a fantastic and filling midday meal without being too heavy to drag me down. Not too many customers in the building, so a busy weekend evening visit might bring different experience, but until then, two thumbs up!

My family and I love to eat food of different diversity, particularly Asian food. Among them, Vietnamese food is one of best kinds. However, expectations fell short with a visit to this restaurant. No one greeted us as we walked in, and we had to wait for a while. One girl was nice, but the others hardly smiled. Therefore, I would say service was unfriendly, however efficient. The prices were surprisingly low in some dishes! I had the pho, and it came with lots of noodles. However, the broth fell short as it was too sweet for me. There was hardly any vegetables on the side, and absolutely no culantro. Which was a disappointment, as it seems that this area has few vietnamese restaurants that actually serve this type of vegetable. (Which is traditional and a necessity for pho) There were hardly any meat too. But like I said, the price was low and there were lots of noodles. However, I prefer quality over quantity, so I will not get the pho here again.

Shocked! No other way to put it. My wife and I had seen this restaurant coming and were anxious to check it out when it opened. It took a few weeks for the parking lot to get busier. So, we finally got our chance today. My wife is Filipino and I am prior service (been all over Asia). We are very picky when it comes to Thai and Vietnamese food. We started with the Viet veggie and shrimp roll, it was full, big and tightly wrapped; very fresh! Delicious. The best part of all was when our food arrived. I had the Ca Kho To and my wife had the chef special spare ribs. It did take a little while for our food to come out but I would like to believe it is because of the care put into it. The first bite I had almost made me fall out of my seat!! WOW! That was the best caramelized catfish I have ever, ever had in my life! My wife couldn't keep her spoon out of my clay pot. The ribs were near perfect, needed a little more sauce. But, all-in-all the food plainly rocks. It's great to have a Vietnamese restaurant nearby that is better than just average or good. This place has GREAT food. We can't wait to get back. The staff were friendly, very attentive and prompt. They could use a few more condiments on the table to choose from. Don't let the outside appearance fool you. I've been to some of the dumpy (dangerous) parts of Asia and found some of the best food in the world in back alley hole-in-the-walls.
