The garlic outlaw steak was really good and tender. Chicken tortilla soup had huge chunks of chicken and a really good, spicy, flavor. I ordered the summer beefsteak tomato salad. Not a fan of vinaigrettes, so I subbed the dressing for blue cheese. It was really good and the tomatoes were awesome. Didn't care too much for the cornbread croutons it came with - too sweet for me. Nice experience considering it was Father's Day weekend. Very attentive waitress named Madison who we never had to ask for refills, clear the table, or correct an issue serving side. Star added for that. My only issue with the locale is the women's bathroom. The entire floor was so sticky that upon trying to back away from the sink, my flip-flop stuck dead flat to the floor as I tried to back away. My family could hear each step I was taking back to the table as I had to pry each shoe off the floor each step. Actually had to wash bottoms off with soap at home. Ick.

I am truly thankful for the incredible service provided to our party of 30 people. The servers went of of their way to please our teenagers( my daughter wanted a dinner with all her friends for her sweet 16) They were so thoughtful, helpful, patient, nice, well mannered, fast, overall amazing servers. I was not sure it would be the right place to celebrate my daughter's special day. Now that I look back to all details I could not be any happier, it was definitely THE right place. This review is dedicated to the three ladies that served our tables. They were so professional! I am truly impressed! One of them helped me set up the decorations for the main table. They took care of having the cake ready and they brought it in perfect time with all plates, spoons and the entire required service. Then they waited patiently for us to sing happy birthday and I had the impression they were actually enjoying the celebration. Thank you ladies for making my girl's sweet 16 such a special memory. Thanks to you and in appreciation for your amazing attention, I will make sure my family and I visit your restaurant more often.

I'm not usually a fan of chains but LongHorn knocked it out of the park the other day. We had friends visiting that were craving steak so my husband suggested LongHorn Steakhouse. Everyone got steak except me. I got the grilled lobster chops. I'm sometimes wary of a steakhouse cooking seafood, but I shouldn't have been. The scallops were cooked PERFECTLY (which is a hard thing to do) and the lobster tails were delicious. There was silence at our table for about ten minutes while everyone was eating their dinner. Although it's a chain it's one of those places that feels high end and has the great food to back it up. We'll be back.

We find it that this place has better quality of Beef, amongst other better things then your typical chain steakhouses. The service has always been pretty solid and right on, I can't remember when our waiter/waitress was bad. There is one Bartender that is pretty good at his job, Tall fella looks like he is from Norway, I must say he made our Valentine's Day get even Better than it already was.

Sunday night of a holiday weekend was pretty busy. Only had about a 20 minute wait time though. Eating at the bar has no wait time usually and you can order off the regular menu. Service is excellent and food was delicious. My husband got the appetizer sampler as he never leaves room for dessert and really wanted it this trip. I had a cup of the shrimp and lobster chowder or how those of us from New England say " Chowda" which was delicious. Lots of shrimp but couldn't find lobster pieces but did have a nice lobster flavor. My meal was the cheese and bacon stuffed filet which you could cut with a fork, a very dull fork since it was so tender. I ordered it medium rare but the waitress suggested medium to make sure the stuffing melted which I went with her recommendation. The steak actually came out medium rare and the stuffing oozed out. They have a 6 or 8 oz versions and the 6 oz was plenty. You get one side and a salad which is a lot of food. They let you substitute as well so for like a dollar I passed on the salad as they substituted the Chowda! My husband had to have his dessert sampler which had some decadent chocolate layered cake, cheesecake, and an apple pie crisp. They serve dessert with cold forks which makes dessert even better. I had a bite of each dessert and my husband could not finish it. At least he got his sweets for the night and probably needs insulin after all that sugar. Great meal, great service and had a gift card to boot so always better on some one else's nickel. Have eaten at Longhorns many times and will be back time and time again.

The bone in ribeye seemed thin and cheap. It seems like the quality has decreased significantly. The appetizers were good. Strawberry pecan salad was excellent. The sirloin steak was better than the ribeye. Also The pasta was good.

It was good as usual. The service was pretty slow though. We had to wait awhile to get our drinks and wait for our check, both of which are my pet peeves. Of course, I'll be back. I'm sure it was just our waiter.

Ok, so a $4 newspaper coupon and a Gift Card from my daughter made this decision real easy. As I said in my original review, Longhorn is probably the most predictable chain out there. This is not a slight. Good is predictable too. Last night wife had her predictable rib-eye, awesome as usual and it was cooked perfectly. I wish I could do that at home. This time I got a dish called Lobster Chops, 3 small lobster half tails grilled with a scallop in the middle of the tail. Served with a seasoned rice and an ear of their cowboy corn grilled. The seafood was awesome, the rice was good but pungent and highly seasoned. The corn was forgetable. For desert we had this apple pie thing topped with vanilla ice cream and bourbon and raspberry sauce. It was big and decadent. Our waiter, Ricky, who was fabulous, asked how it was. To me it tasted like Christmas. I've never described a food like that before but when I tasted it I intsantly went to Christmas. Weird. I think it was all those holiday spices or maybe I'm just getting in the season a bit early. Another good dinner, thank you my daughter for a great meal.

This restaurant is a favorite of my husbands so we do come here often! I'm more of the ethnic-fare diner, while hubby likes a good steak - which we definitely get when we come here. Food: I love how you are able to get honey wheat bread and butter - you can even ask for cinnamon and sugar in the butter if you're feeling froggy! I order the Renagade sirloin, 8 oz, and it's always been what we order - medium well. I ordered the steak salad once and the steak on there was not the same, more chewie. their house salad is pretty delicious also. Service: the servers we get are always very friendly and polite. Particularly in the bar area, they always check on us and make sure they are available if we need them Atmosphere: It's cute, quaint, and country!

I have always been a huge fan of LongHorn. They have delicious food at an affordable price. I had to stop myself from eating the whole loaf for bread. I mean seriously. They tease you with that wonderful loaf. And it when it's gone they bring you more! I tried a seasonal menu item. it was a sirloin topped with spicy jalapeno and cheese combo. it was so good! I love spicy and this was fabulous. I veered away from the usual baked potato. Trying to make healthier choices! I got the asparagus. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I also had a house margarita. I love their margaritas. Refreshing and mixed just right. LognHorn is one of my favorites!

I've been to other Longhorns and this one was by far the best. The food was absolutely perfect tonight. I actually finished everything on my plate and I usually take half my meal home when I go out to eat. My husband and I did the two for 29.99 deal and shared entrees. So glad we came here.

The waitors were not paying attention whatsoever, the waitor said he would bring things like bread and ketchup several times and completely forgot. Then we get our food and all three of the people who ordered meat, had near to raw meat when they asked more medium well. And one was a child so there should have been no pink at all. Then they take the food back and threw the same old stakes in the microwave. And its still red and tough. When the waitor comes back he interrupts us to go serve someone else. The service was horrid a long with the food. Never coming back and i would advise others to do the same.

Our waiter was really flaky! I asked for no dressing on my salad like I always do. He brought it out with the dressing on it and extra on the side. My husband ordered a steak and I ordered grilled shrimp. We asked for the steak medium well= some pink. The streak was bloody and instead of the waiter taking it back he said "that's how I like it". We decided to eat my shrimp and take the steak home and cook it how we like it. We went to another location in Tampa that we loved about a month ago. I definitely wouldn't recommend this location even though it's close to our place. The perfect margarita was great but too bad our food made it out before our cocktail. Maybe Thursday night's are just not the night to dine there.

I LOVE steak!!! Always had luck at Longhorn. Not the best steak I've ever eaten, but consistently good. Tonight's ribeye was cooked perfectly. Sweet potato sweetened with a bit of brown sugar and plenty of butter. Salad was fresh and yummy. Bread hot, flavorful and hard to resist. Hubby had the lobstah chops which were small lobstah tails with a large scallop on them and a side of seasoned rice. He loved it. For dessert, Hubby ordered a large apple crusty pie type thing with vanilla ice cream, slathered in raspberry & caramel sauce. Too many notes, not for me!! But he said it tasted Christmasy and he ate the whole thing!!! Our server, Ricky, was awesome and made this visit even better than previous ones. Realized dining out on a Wednesday night was quicker than our typical Friday and a $4 coupon and a gift card made this visit much more affordable. And Wednesday is when our housekeeper comes and I hate to get the kitchen dirty that day!! This place is not cheap, even with the discounts, we still had to pay another $35 with tip! But when I'm feeling steaky again, we'll be back!

I have been coming to this restaurant for over four years. Awhile back we actually stopped coming because the service was horrible. Tonight a young waitress (Amanda) made all of that go away. As a matter of fact her service was so good I can't remember receiving better service at a mid-level restaurant in years. Without being abnoxiously present she was very attentive to my wife and I. Tea glass filled before it was empty, she even ask if I needed more condiments for my bake potato seeing that I had eaten most of what I had. Both my wife and I were very impressed. I'll be attempting to sit in her section the next time we eat here.

Not bad at all. Had a Darden gift card and decided to pop in for lunch...couldn't tell you the last time I went to a LongHorn. Decided on a chicken avocado flatbread (not even steak) and was pleasantly surprised. Good taste, fell apart but that's ok. Fries were nicely peppered but I added even more. Sticking with three because, like many chains, you leave feeling uninspired. I'm in no hurry to come back.

Had a $25 gift card and went for lunch with my wife. First you get fresh baked bread and butter. Always a good beginning if you start hungry. Started with the fried green tomatoes app. The app was served over lettuce. The tomatoes were fried with a nice batter and had a great sauce and goat cheese. Very flavorful and recommended. I had a bacon cheeseburger with fries. Cooked just right, full of flavor, juicy and hot. Very good burger. The fries were average. My wife had a sweet potato and broccoli. Both were cooked just right. The broccoli had lemon juice, garlic and butter and was tender and tasty. It was a very satisfying meal and we left feeling full and happy. Total check under $28. We will be back.

Restaurant was freezing, but after three attempts to either move (we were told it wouldn't matter) the manager finally stopped by and said he had raised the temp a couple of degrees. Food. One good (black and bleu burger), but remainder not so good. Salad that had clearly sat around for a few hours prior to arriving in front of me. Their new mushroom truffle soup tries far too hard - truffle flavor grossly overdone to the point where mushrooms are lost. Overall - we won't be back.

I've been to this establishment a couple of times for quick work lunches. I do like the convenience of the location to where I work and they are always mindful of time constraints you may have if you let your waiter know. Our waiter was very attentive on my most recent visit and made sure we had what we needed to enjoy our meal. My staple is the Sierra Chicken as I am not a big steak person. It was very well prepared and so were the appetizers we had consisting of the spinach and artichoke dip and the onion peels. I would definitely recommend this place for a quick bite when you are on the go.

My husband and I decided to go to longhorn tonight because its been a while since we ate there. I always think its weird that we have to wait five minutes for a bar booth that's already been cleaned off. Oh well- no big deal. The atmosphere is great, warm and welcoming but a little dark. The drinks are good-- draft beer was on special and I ordered a strawberry mixed drink that was really delicious if you like sweet drinks. I had the Parmesan crusted chicken-- it is to die for. I wish I could eat it every night. My husband had shrimp and steak and he said the shrimp was so good. It came with two full skewers (almost 8 shrimp) and an decent size steak for only 16.99! Being in the bar we had two bartenders waiting on us so service was great. It's a bit more pricey than outback but its worth going back to!!

So disappointed, it took an hour to get the food and then it was cold. Black and Blue Burger was very bland, I think they forgot the pepper for it, and totally inedible due to being cold. I upgraded the fries to the garlic, cold and chewy, how do you make potatoes chewy? At least the unsweetened tea was cold, the one and only thing they got right.

Ended up here due to a work lunch and was presently surprised. Our waiter was extremely friend and prompt and I can really appreciate when a server asks if you are on a lunch break to make sure to get you in and out in under an hour. One thing that really surprised me was the 500 calorie section on the lunch menu. It included the same items on the menu but I'm guessing without all the butter. I had the 500 Napa grilled chicken, it was perfectly cooked, super tender and didn't leave me feeling like I was stuffed to the max. The chicken was topped with artichokes, portabella mushrooms and sun dried tomatoes and served with green beans or mixed veggies. I would definitely go back for the 500 calorie lunch!

We randomly decided Friday night that we would stop here for dinner. Although I do not eat red meat I know that my Bill likes the food here so I compromised. When we first got in they told us it would be a 45 minute wait so we decided to do our waiting in addition to a little drinking at the bar area. I ordered a hard strawberry lemonade and Bill got a vodka/orange juice which neither had any alcohol at all. I was willing to look past this because we were having a good time just hanging out, watching ESPN, and enjoying eachother's company. In 45 minutes our table was ready, and we got seated literally two steps away from where we were sitting in the bar. Not that this was a huge problem but our purpose for NOT eating at the bar and waiting was so that we could sit in a nice, comfortable booth table....which did not happen. Then, the worst occur. Once seated in took 20 minutes for our server to come take our drink order. He apologized and we could tell it was very busy and understaffed so we gave him a break - at first. Because it took us so long already - we he came for our drink order we ordered our dinner also which was the two meal deal with dessert for $29.99 Bill had the bacon wrapped filet and I had the portabello mushroom chicken. The ONLY reason this restaurant got two stars is because the food was actually very, very good. However - we did not recieve our food for another 40 minutes afterwards. During the whole time - our server did not check on us once. Actually, I never even seen him out on the floor! We were so aggravated that we did not even take our dessert which came with our meal home with us for fear that we would have to wait another 30 minutes! I do not think that we will be back here for a long time....and if so, we probably will just do take out in the future because the food was very good but the dining experience is something I never want to experience again.

A little dissatisfied with my steak today :( My husbands came out perfect however mine was cold and about ten min later the server came by and I informed her of my cold steak and side. She returned the steak to the kitchen to put back on the grill... And as you would guess my same steak was then hot, overcooked and dry :( I was not a happy camper because everything else was up to par prior to that. The manager did stop by and offer to cook me another however at that point I was over it. I was also kinda disappointed that there was no discount or comp or anything other than a sorry. The worst part is that I will not be back. I will go purchase my steak and cook it myself to ensure it comes out right and if not I can remind myself why I do not work at a steak house.

I've been in steakhouses from the NYC legends, to other in Kansas City, and Ft. Worth. Those are luxury steak joints and quite different from LongHorn, which is good quality and gets the job done. While it's not a luxury joint, here is what it is: What I would consider the best "chain steakhouse" out there. I've never had a bad meal in any one. The beef is consistently good, as well as the baked potatoes, and other vegetables. And I never have an issue with the portion size, especially their spicy shimp appetizer. Service...the same way, gets the job done with no complaints. So for the niche that LongHorn is in, I think it does the best job. The setting here is also good, no loud country music, no waitresses line dancing in the aisles, just very laid back and easy to relax during a good meal.

When my company sent me to Tampa for training, I made sure I put their meal expense money to good use. I remember it being a bit pricey, but again, it wasn't my money. It's the same as Boulder Creek, just different name. I liked it.

If the price was less expensive I would give more stars. The service was great, the sides were tasty, but the steak was a little dry and overdone. I complained about the steak and they got me a new one, but they did not let the steaks rest enough before they asked us to cut into them, so they got dry. Definitely not worth the price of an entree, but would return for a light meal or lunch.

I don't know why the other reviewers are complaining this place is pricey. My husband and I typically can walk out of here having had steaks and drinks for about $40. Usually we spend at least $50 at the only other steakhouse we frequent (Outback). They have an e-club you can join to get coupons. They unfortunately do not send them as frequently as they used to; but they have also added a lot of meals for $11.99 or less or something like that. The steaks have always been good. Nice little salad included at no charge. Of course your standard two sides out of 5-7 choices. My husband loves the sourdough bread they give you before your dinner. Our servers have always been very attentive and they make a habit of asking you to cut into your steak to check for the desired doneness when they first bring it to you, which is nice.

Here eating lunch with my manager and peers. It's very busy right now and they are short staffed. :-( hopefully the lunch comes out quick.

Been to several different locations. Tonight was worst service we've had at Longhorn. Management is clueless at this location.

The service here is great. Waiters and waitresses are friendly. My friend and I always go here when we are in the area. The steaks are great and the sides are always delicious. With the exception of one time, most of my experience here were phenomenal.

Had the steakhouse burger and ceaser salad. Burger was small for $8.00 but tasty.wife had the baked potato and cheese soup and loved it. Service was superb and we had a very pleasant lunch. Will be back!

Lunch hotspot. It's super quick, super good, and super inexpensive. Did the combo lunch special for 8 bucks. Burger and a salad. They even have coupons out. We liked our server Steven.

My favorite place to get steak! I've never had a bad one and they always cook it perfectly. I've always had good service there too.

Great Salmon but that's about it. Wish they were more consistent because it really is hit or miss. Could be great one day and horrible the next.

My place to go when I'm craving a steak. Always get the renegade sirloin with the Mac and cheese (if you've never tried it, you need to ) service is always well paced without being rushed.

Good steaks but a little overpriced. More expensive than Outback.
