Corner Bakery Cafe Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Pretty sure this place has the best mac & cheese around. Their handpies are so cute and delicious. Every server has been very polite and the manager personally came by, was very friendly. Every time I have been here, the place is always very clean and tidy. I love it!

Love the bacon, egg and cheese on Croissant....especially when they cook the bacon crispy.

The family and I came here for lunch. Had to wait a little bit to be seated because they said everyone was going home. The food was decent. Our server were very sweet and on top of her game. The manager on the other hand needs to take customer service lesson from the server. Sad to say but I even told the Seaver that they need to switch place. Overall experience .... Good.

Went with my Aunt and Great Uncle after a hard day at the funeral home across the street. Quick service and good food. The free cookie was top notch! The only complaint I have is that they give you a number and let you sit down while waiting for your food. Then the servers are just walking around the whole place trying to find you and your number....a little odd if the place was packed. Not like a normal sit down restaurant where your waiter/waitress knows right where you are.

I gave it four stars because I was surprised, the place it was clean and well set up but I was expecting it to be just average or below but to my surprise people were very friendly and the food that we ordered was very good. We went there to have breakfast but it was really lunchtime, I ordered pancakes and I will say they are the best pancakes I have had in a very very long time, my wife had a omelette that although wasn't quite warm enough for her it was very very good. The latte and coffee we ordered was very good , they have a wide variety of items that look very good but I cannot comment on them. If in the area we will definitely go back again.

The first time I went to a Corner Bakery Cafe was a few years ago in the Chicago area. I really liked it and was excited when they opened up in Brandon early 2014. Unfortunately, it has never lived up to the first time I went and seems to be getting slightly worse each time I go. I've tried their sandwiches, breakfast items (such as pancakes and French toast) and pasta. Everything is just average to me (although I did like my sandwich I got but don't remember the name). I like their menu more than Panera, especially being able to order breakfast all day (ask to see the breakfast menu if not on the board). I also like their drink selection, which includes hibiscus lemonade. There is a longer wait for some items. It's a place where you order, they give you a number and you put the number on the table and they'll bring you the food when ready. I'm sure I'll go back just not too often. They also send you deals by email when you sign up. They sent me an offer to get a free flatbread sandwich the other day but I forgot to go (new product they wanted to test). Sending me offers for free food is always a good way to get me to return.

This place reminds me a lot like Panera-- you order up front and they'll bring up your food. They have a selection of pastries, sandwiches, salads, and soups like Panera, but they have more variety and healthier options. I ordered the trio with quinoa salad, tuna salad, and tomato soup. It was pretty good but the quinoa salad needed a little more flavor. Also, the bread that came with the meal was super salty. As for a study place, don't come here during lunch hours because it gets pretty busy and noisy but towards the middle of the afternoon, it gets quieter. You can find a few outlets, but at my particular table, the outlet was completely blocked by the metal part of the table-- poor planning.

Didn't love it. Service to place was order was really slow. Cashier would fiddle around in the sweets case between every customer so it took forever to place an order. I ordered 1/2 & 1/2. Ham sandwich on pretzel roll with chicken noodle soup. Ham was incredibly salty and soup was just ok. I also had a mini cupcake that was ok, it only cost 1.29 so I thought that was a deal. I think Panera is a better option.

And here we go again...another Panera, Crispers type place. When we first decided to go here, we thought it was going to be more a bakery type place for a late breakfast. When we got there, the menu seemed more geared toward lunch, so an early lunch it was. As at Panera and Crispers, you order at the counter, got a number to place on your table and they brought the food to you. I ordered the combo lunch, half a tuna sandwich and a small bowl of baked potato soup. The plate arrived and there was a pickle slice and a bag of chips with it. My sandwich was great, not overwhelmed by mayo on a multigrain bread with lettuce, tomato and cucumber. The soup was rich and creamy with plenty of potato, bacon bits and fresh green onion....and HOT!!! I was very happy with how everything tasted. This is a new place so the decor is very nice and comfortable. Not much contact with staff so really no comment on that. When we checked into Yelp a coupon came up for a free cookie!! Woot woot!! I really liked Corner Bakery Cafe and will definitely return.

Over all food was good! It's like Panera Bread, but not much of sweets display when we went there!

I was first introduced to their food when I lived in California and it was love at first bite! I've always been a fan of the chicken pomodori and pesto cavatapi! You can never go wrong with those dishes.

Delise! Love this bakery. Wished they had more south locations. I used to go here all the time back at home (Chicago). They offer great lunch choices: sandwiches, paninis, flatbreads, pasta, bakery items, etc. Breakfast is very limited though. Best to come for lunch.

I knew I'd be going through Brandon for lunch so I checked with Yelp friends Nick S. and Alejandra A. for a recommendation ahead of time. Their recommendations didn't pan out but lucky for me I noticed Corner Bakery Café before getting on the highway. What a treasure!!!! It's always an odd feeling when you step in an establishment for the first time and you don't know where to order, what to do, what they have, etc. Not to fear because rock star employee Amber put me right at ease familiarizing me with everything!! I ordered up the Anaheim Scrambler w/substitution of chix apple sausage. This delight should be renamed the Traveler's Scramble because it was light yet filling enough for someone who is traveling on the road ;-) It couldn't of been more perfect unless of course they hadn't run out of potatoes and oatmeal...but it happens. At $7.50 the price point was spot on! The pastries and breads are scratch made daily and you can even take some home with you which is easy peasy compared to picking up a loaf of bread at the grocer. I recommend the Harvest bread. So yummy. This store is large with a lot of room to spread out and have some extra joe while surfing the web with their free Wi Fi. It's really nice to chill on their extra large patio when the weather is nice. Current health inspection: 0-high priority, 1-intermediate, 4-basic violations

I would love to up this rating to 4 stars but alas, I think not. Wife and I finally made it for breakfast, in fact we just made it as we were eating the menu changed out of breakfast. Wife and I both ordered the Farmers Scramble. Scrambled eggs, green onion, red pepper, mushrooms all mixed together. I personally love this kind of dish and I make things like this for myself. I wanted some meat in it though. The girl at the counter was awesome. When I asked for the chicken sausage she told me it was $2.50 extra, so was the bacon. Ham came in at $2.00 so I went with it. She apologized for the upcharges and seemed genuinely embarrassed by them. It was greatly appreciated. I personally think the charges exorbitant, a lot of money for a little bit. Adding the ham brought my bfast alone to $9.00. I added a small coffee. With the scramble you get potatoes and toast. - the scramble was very good, fair amount of goodies and was hot and tasty. - the potatoes were barely warm and looked like they had been sitting around for a while which they probably were because bfast was almost over. No excuse, I still paid early bfast bucks. - the toast wasn't. It was wheat bread, very good wheat bread, but barely toasted and cold, not buttered. Not good. - the coffee was good and hot. Nice selection too. The free cookie is good but I'm not going there just for that. I really wish our meals were better. I want to like this place more but the food just doesn't warrant more than 3 stars.

I tried the new Southwest Chicken Grilled Flat tonight and it was awful. Maybe I can update this one day to a more positive review. This is the 2nd time now that I've had to look for something else to eat because what I paid for was not what I got. These came with an abundance of green onions I didn't ask for. They don't even come in them by default. :/

Last time I will be going here, always takes forever to get someone to help me at the counter ( today the guy looked me right in the eye and never said anything to me and just stood behind the counter) I ended up just walking out as I came in to get something before work and can't just stand there forever. The past 2 times I came in the order was wrong but they did fix it quickly. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is the food is good and fresh but the services needs work.

LOVE the coroner bakery!!! This IMO is a better version of panera. Their food is a bit more innovative and a step up. I've had several of their sanwiches. Their beef and goat cheese sandwich is on point. Also I've had most of their salads and really enjoyed them. Also their hibiscus lemonade is soooo good! It is a bit more expensive than most quick casuals but IMO it's worth it. It can be a little inconsistent at times which is why j took a star.

Always love a good sandwich. I was not disappointed as I got the chicken pesto sandwich and it was good. The veggies were fresh and so was the bread. Will have to go back and try something sweet.

Located in the Brandon shopping center across from the mall, this little gem is nestled to the right side of the the complex, separate from most of the stores. There is parking directly in fro t of the stores This place is great for fresh and fast dining selections. Every I have sampled here has been great. I like their combo meals and their portions are just right and the menu is ever evolving. Most recently they have added Mac and cheese to the menu and my friend who I was dining with on my last visit said it was the real deal, not processed looking or artificial. I like that you order at the counter, take your order number, sit down at a table and display your number and your food is brought to you. Drinks are self serve. I wish there were more Corner Cafes in the Tampa Bay Area and I hope they will expand. My personal favorite sweet treat from here is the oatmeal date cookie, excellent! Insider tip: if you check in with Yelp you can receive a free cookie!

I have been here twice so far, and I plan to return again in the future. The first time I got the Chicken Pesto sandwich - it tasted very good and was made with fresh ingredients - and most recently I tried the Applewood Smoked Bacon Power Flat. The bacon was nice and crispy just the way I like it, and the scrambled eggs were perfect. You stand in line and wait your turn to place your order. You are given a card with a number to hang up and they have runners that deliver your food. You are responsible for getting your own drinks and condiments off to the side. I have yet to try any of the baked goods items, but they look delicious as well. The only thing I am not sure about is whether it is customary to leave a tip for the runners. Some people left a dollar or two on the table while others did not.

Corner Bakery Café is a counter service franchise business. I have never heard of this franchise before, so at first, I thought it was local because of the fresh food items on the menu. The space is ideal for meetings or a coffeehouse style working environment. The seating is very clean and divided into some booth seating to have meetings with friends or casual business meetings. Overall, I really liked the atmosphere. To be honest, I quickly ran in to grab a quick breakfast before meeting a friend next door. However, being used to other cafes of this style, I was totally blown away by Corner Bakery's huge breakfast menu. Everything looked delicious because they use non-processed ingredients like; fresh spinach, avocado, and goat cheese on breakfast items. Where else does that? The breakfast is about $1-2 more than you would pay for a drive-thru experience, but the quality of food is much better. The lunch menu was not as impressive. Since this is a chain, it would be hard for them to customize their menu to local clientele or add daily specials that are more unique. I had the Spinach and Avocado Power Panini. It was small, but did the job. If I ever need to meet up with friends or co-workers in the Brandon area during breakfast time, I will definitely be meeting up with them here.

Small portions on their sandwiches is the only complaint I have from my first visit. The food is okay for a cafe. Employees deliver the order to your table. Smoothies are tasty although they aren't made of real fruit. Good for breakfast and definitely worth checking out for a quick bite.

If you have been to a Corner Bakery in the Northeast, where those restaurants are run like well-oiled machines, this location will be a major disappointment. First this location is not all that clean. Second the baked goods case is always 3/4 empty. In the other Corner Bakery locations I have been to, the baked goods were always fresh and piled high. Here it's like they don't really even want to sell any baked goods. I walk in there and I am dying to pay 5 bucks for a brownie. But the bakery case is so sad and empty that it gives me the creeps. So I don't buy anything. Lost opportunity. Third the food here is not always hot or fresh. If you order hot food, it may be lukewarm. If you get a sandwich, the bread may be wrinkled up and stale. However, I have had good luck with the salads here. I recommend the chopped. This Corner Bakery is a damn shame, b/c I truly do believe that Corner Bakery, IF RUN WELL, beats Panera any day of the week. The problem with this location is that it is very badly managed.

This is the first of 14 planned locations in the Tampa Bay area. They have about 150 locations in the US. Location is on the north side of Highway 60 across from the entrance to the Brandon mall and adjacent to Starbucks. Think of it as a variation of Panera Bread. You place your order at the counter, take a number and then your entire order is delivered to your table. Ample seating indoors and out. The breakfast menu includes scramblers and Panini sandwiches. The chicken apple sausage Panini was very tasty along with a cup of café con Leche. The lunch menu includes Panini's, pastas, salads and sandwiches.

Ugh! Expected a lot more from this place. I ordered the Anaheim and my wife ordered the American. Place was not busy maybe three other customers. Both meals came out cold my wife's bacon was undercooked and she wouldn't eat it both meals were full of salt. I ate mine but I was hungry. We've been here for lunch and it was ok but the menu is limited for all meals. I think the limited menu is part of their business plan so can't really fault them for that. I restrict carbs so it was a challenge for me. We won't be back for breakfast, might come back for lunch. Might.....

I hate rating this place so low, I really do. I first discovered the Corner Bakery location in Manhattan Beach, CA and it's amazing! Love everything about it there. However, I went to this Brandon, FL location when it first opened and it was a good experience. But I went back a couple weeks ago (just now getting around to writing a review) and here's what I experienced: 1) I wanted the Philly cheese steak but they couldn't make it without mushrooms because it's already mixed in with the peppers/onions. Fine, I order the chicken pesto sandwich, which ended up tasting like the saltiest sandwich I have ever had. Disgusting. 2) The cashier forgot our cookie and asked if I wanted an iced brownie after I had just ordered an iced fudge brownie. Not sure where her mind was, but clearly she wasn't paying attention. Not a big deal. 3) This place was DEAD on a Saturday during lunch hours. I think people are starting to realize that this place will cost you more than competition, and for what? Salt, that's what. 4) The side/ledge of the booth was caked in dust. I even took a picture and will post it here for proof once I find it. 5) Overall, this place is NOT up to the standards of the Manhattan Beach location. It's to the point where I would not go again unless things turned around quickly.

Went here today with my husband. Wanted to give it a try as we had breakfast taken to work one day. My husband and I had the pancakes with eggs and bacon, it was great. Couldn't ask for a better breakfast to start the day. No complaints.

Please don't invite me back any more to try your new food items.we waited 35 minutes for our food order and it was less than desirable. You have some serious issues going on at this site here in Brandon and if you don't fix them, your not going to make it.

I took my parents and my brother to eat some sandwiches here. We ordered three Cuban sandwiches and a steak sandwich. All three Cubans were dry and lacked flavor. The steak sandwich was dry also and the cheese was like rubber. Never again....

A nice competitor for Panera. CBC is a chain, but I honestly didn't realize it before the Brandon location was built. Checked it out anyway and was happy I did. My salad and sandwich were good, though I don't remember exactly what I had. I was struck by the freshness though. I'd return.

Clean, well layed out, nicely decorated restaurant. Nice covered patio with lots of out door seating. We enjoyed a quick breakfast of Bacon Cheddar and Egg Paninis- sourdough bread was perfectly toasted and buttery, bacon was plentiful and high quality, cheese was sharp and melty and pulled the whole sandwich together. The kid had pancakes- he said thay they were okay and the syrup was delicious. All-in-all we left full and ready for the rest of our day.

My fiancé and I had come to try this out about a week ago and it wasn't open yet, well they were having their trial run so we finally got to try it today! We also were given a free coffee so that was a added bonus. The decor inside is very fresh and welcoming. The staff were welcoming and polite. There wasn't a line when we came but there was one after we ordered and sat down. Menu wise it is similar to that of Panera with the panini's, salads, sandwiches and dinner items. I order the Chicken Apple Sausage Panini and a coffee. When walking to the Coffee area there were employees gathered in front of the coffee and I attempted to excuse myself and no one moved (thus the 3 stars). So after I politely moved my way into the coffee i decided on the Cafe Euorpa which was pretty decent. My sandwich however was amazing! The panini was pressed to perfection! The amount of sausage and egg was more than enough. So much so that I could only eat half of it and gave the other half to my fiancé. I will defiantly come back to try some new things in the future!

I used to travel to the DC area for work and was always excited to get some eats at Corner Bakery Cafe! So glad they opened up in Brandon since they have something for everyone on their huge menu. My favorites at Corner Bakery in no particular order: 1) steel cut oatmeal 2) chicken salad sandwich 3) roast beef and goat cheese sandwich I haven't tried their baked goods yet, so looks like I will be back. :)

We went back at the invite of the manager and this time we tried lunch... I must say that everything we tried was very good, we had the meatball sub and the steak sandwich, the wife also had the roast beast and goat cheese, every sandwich was quite tasty. Cush was the name of the gentleman who took our order at the register he was very pleasant and helpful, he is an asset to the store. will come back again.

Just ate here for the second time ever today, and yet again, it was fabulous! Amber took care of my order--she is friendly, happy, timely, very knowledgeable, and I could tell she excelled at and cared about her job. As a person who also works in the service industry, I can safely say, she's awesome! The food was delicious, and prepared more quickly than most places. The atmosphere was cozy, I would definitely recommend! Bring a light jacket, or just order the coffee!

Good quality food and reasonable prices. 4 stars because the breakfast was better than other bakery/cafes Went this morning for breakfast because we had a free coffee coupon. Service was reasonably quick, prices were very fair, and the decor was very nice. I ordered the smoked bacon and cheddar panini with a side of potatoes. WARNING! watch how they ring you up. On the menu if you order a sandwich it says you can get potatoes for 1.00$. NOT THE CASE, she rang me up for a regular side of potatoes 1.69$. The bacon sandwich was good, but the Chicken apple sausage panini was WAY BETTER!!! Had more meat, was more filling and the flavor was decadent. I love how the bread is toasted, make the sandwich very crispy but a little greasy. The potatoes were warm, not hot. They had a good amount of onions in them. Maybe could use a little more crispy potatoes would make this spot on. You'll definitely have to season them up, a little salt would be perfect. THE COFFEE, not a fan. I had the house blend and it didn't meet expectations. The description and what I had was two different things. Very bitter, even with a good amount of sugar. The flavor was not pleasing. I will try the other coffees, maybe, but won't be my first try. The hibiscus lemonade was TO DIE FOR! I also had a free coupon for a cookie so I ordered a snicker doodle. MUST SIGN UP ON LINE WITH THE EMAIL SERVICE AND THEY EMAIL YOU RIGHT AWAY THE COUPON. The cookies was soft, and looked amazing. The flavor was lacking the cinnamon flavor a snicker doodle must have to be called a snicker doodle. All in all it was a really good sugar cookie lol. One thing I did not find out was if there is free wifi. If there is I will be back to sit and study and munch on some good food.

It's a nice little restaurant with the similar feel of a Panera bread, however slightly more expensive. I've eaten a few of their salads and they are delicious, fresh, and have large portions. I've also had one of their bacon Panini's which was good as well-a little greasy but not bad. I do like that you take a number to your seat after ordering and they bring your food to you. Takes the stress and traffic jam away from the counter. It did take a bit to get our food once ordering both times I've been.

When I first went to Corner Bakery, I'll admit I was prejudice and thought it was going to be a knock off Panera... I was so wrong! Panera needs to take some lessons from this place! The atmosphere and serving style is very similar to Crispers (you order the food/drink at the counter, they give you a number, you pick your table and they bring your items out to you). The menu is much like Panera and Crispers as well, serving an array of soups, sandwiches, salads, combos, but what really sets this restaurant apart from the rest is the flavor! The food tastes so fresh. Every item I've tried tastes like it was "home made" and not pre packaged. The Panini's are always cooked to perfection, the salads have just the right amount of fruit, dressing, croutons, and meat, and the soups are hearty. You will want to lick your bowl clean people!

Writing this while still sitting at this location. When we walked in it reminded me of Panera Bread. Same decor, signage etc. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches, the Anaheim Scrambler and the Chicken Apple sausage panini, both with a side of breakfast potatoes. First the good: my sausage sandwich was good; hot, flavorful, all around a tasty sandwich. Now the bad: everything else. My potatoes were stone cold. When I asked the server to bring me some hot ones she was very annoyed with me. Slammed them down without a word. She shouldn't have bothered. Cold, hot, both were terrible. They tasted liked microwaved frozen potatoes. My friend's Anaheim Scrambler could not be helped even with the addition of ketchup, mustard, mayo. Nothing helped and she ended up leaving most of it on her plate. All in all, stick to Panera or even Bob Evans which is right down the street. Bad food and poor service are a deadly combination.

Glad to see a new food shop open in this plaza. Frist impression a mix of Macaronni Grill and Crispers. I decided to try one of the pastas, maybe because I was starving and assumed this would be a good portion. They offer a café or entrée size I decided for entrée and was disappointed to see only 2 meatballs in my pasta, so if you are like me and want more meat than pasta I would suggest to just stay with the café size. The pasta was very good, flavorful and was a quick to go service. They offer soups, salads, sandwiches and best of all breakfast. Which is what I'm planning to get next time I'm in the area.

  • David P.

The good: Portions are huge, and there's really little sense to offer a cafe salad that's half as big as the entree salad, and the entree salad only costs $1 more. The salad was fresh, and flavorful. I had a chop salad, and my wife went for the chicken Caesar. Both were perfect, and the sample of oatmeal may get us back for breakfast The bad: Salads are a little pricey at $8-9 with not much in the way of proteins. There were no menus at the door, and the menu board is huge with lots of offerings, so we had to hang out to the side to figure out what to order (no biggie). Although there are lot's of salads and "healthy choices" there are little options in getting a BIG salad with low calories due to the loads of dressing put on the salads. It would be nice to have some yogurt based dressings that are tasty and low calorie. Overall, great first experience. We'll be back!!!

I still enjoy the food but the change where I don't get stamps for buying a cafe con leche (more expensive than a cup of coffee) on the stamp card anymore is disappointing. I guess I'll go back to Starbucks for my coffee where I always get credit for my purchases.

I came here with my mom for lunch after it was recommended by my sister. It wasn't awful, but I personally prefer Panera. The food was all very salty but still lacked in flavor. I found the quality of food to be much better at Panera but the prices here were higher. Not impressed.

This place was slammed, but I didn't really thing much of that. Every new restaurant that opens near a mall is busy when it first opens. The place just seemed like a Panera clone when I walked in, but Panera can't touch the quality and taste of this place! Wow. I had the chicken pomodori on sourdough panini. It was excellent. Comes with a bag of chips. Staff was on top of things. Will definitely be back once things calm down a little.

Excellent customer service and friendly staff. The food was excellent and delicious as well. At first glance, you would think that you're walking into an upscale Panera...but it's definitely no Panera, which is not a bad thing. Would definitely recommend giving this place a try!

  • Tara L.

As many of the reviews state, this cafe is just like Panera. That being said, it is more expensive and I my opinion not really worth the price difference. The "pick two" I had cost me $10 and that came with a pickle and a bag of chips. I had a water with my meal or I am sure it would have been closer to $13. Overall I would say that it is a nice place and the food was pretty good, but I have no plan to return.

Very disappointed. Took forever to get 2 sandwiches and no one was in the place. Food was not hot. Then decided to order coffee and took 20 minutes to get it and then tasted like it had been sitting. We saw staff standing around and not paying attention to customers. We had to wipe off a table to even have a clean one. Would not recommend going.

Reminds me of Panera with a less than impressive selection of baked goods. Their mac and cheese with bacon sets them apart from Panera though!

Noticed this place a few weeks ago and just assumed it was a bakery because of the sign on the side of the building that faces highway 60. However I decided to try it this morning on my way to Starbucks. I walked in and was pleasantly surprised I loved the setup and ambiance. I grabbed a menu at the door before entering the line (didn't want to hold anyone up). I was very happy to see the apple wood bacon panini. I ordered just that and it was delicious and fresh. I immediately thought of Panera it's very similiar. I will be returning!! :) I saw multiple business meetings taking place and felt inspired :) seems great for that type of meeting. Not to mention the cashier was very friendly.

I have eaten here several times in the past couple of months and overall have been very pleased. The chicken pomodori panini is one of my favorites. I also really enjoy the trio salad combo. The service is generally quick and friendly. A great spot for a weekday lunch.

Finally! Corner Bakery is expanding across the state. They have great food and pretty reasonable prices (you can get a meal for two for under $20). Since it just opened, everything here is new - there were also plenty of staff on hand to clear tables and keep the place looking spotless. The food also came out quick and tasted great! Now let's see if they can keep it up past the first week...

First time visitor, order the trio, half of the container was empty, and I got it to go the girl hand it to me sideways so the dressing got wasted all inside the bag, I was very disappointed of the customer service....would give it a second try maybe was just a bad day ..

A new favorite spot! This is my second time here so i felt it was time to write a review. The Paninis are fresh and full of flavor, especially the California Grill. Better than Panera in my opinion. Pastries here pair really well with their coffee. I had the Hazelnut Creme coffee with a Creme Cheese Brownie. Wow! A must try! So rich and smooth. The staff here is very friendly and walk around to make sure the place is clean and everyone is happy.

Enjoyed a late breakfast with my husband that will last the entire day! The Anaheim Scrambler was made to order and delivered hot. Large portions that we will split next time! He ordered the French toast and it was like bread pudding....excellent!

Bad experience but will give them another try. Waited 30 min for food, it showed up cold and missing items. Manager refunded our meal and apologized.

Farmers scramble is great. Being Irish I do like my spuds, you will not be disappointed. Daughter gives it a thumbs up.

Had breakfast there for the first time. We had two of the breakfast sandwiches and both were very good. One ham, egg,Swiss, and one back, eggs, cheese. We both had decaf coffee and that was the only thing we did not enjoy as it was a little bitter. Would like to see a milder blend. Don't know if it is the coffee or how it is made. Nice place, great service. Would like to try more of the items on the menu.

Like Panera with less bread choices. The bakery name really threw me off. I went in wanting to grab a small French loaf to go with dinner at home. Only 4 bread choices available when I went in tonight. Ordered the cinnamon coffee cake thing. Mine was very dry and made me think it was stale. Won't bother coming back. Oh well.

I used to eat Swiss Oatmeal for breakfast before heading to work in Chicago. Hoping that one day they will open one store in Florida! Finally! They opened one in Brandon Panera Bread is good. But this place is even better and inexpensive.

Just met there with a few friends, one of whom had their catering and raved. I love the decor with photos of the local area and it definitely did remind me of a Panera. Prices weren't too crazy $7-$9 for a sandwich, chips, and pickle. On a budget I went with the tomato mozzarella sandwich and at the recommendation of my cashier got it on pretzel bread instead of the ciabatta. It arrived and looked lovely, however I've had better. The pretzel bread had way too much salt on it (yes I should have expected this with pretzel bread but it was just overkill) and I wasn't a fan of the balsamic. Big hearty chunks of mozzarella, tomato slices could've been bigger, and more basil would've been great. They also have their own house brand of chips which are also coated in salt and I needed to wash the sodium madness off with some water. One of the other girls wasn't impressed with her lunch or the fun sounding hibiscus lemonade. I would like to return to try something else, the one who insisted we go got the chicken pomodori and loved it so maybe that's next on the list. I do love the atmosphere and something different than the usual cafe/bakery chain and hometown feel. Desserts didn't look super impressive but I bet are tasty. Also we didn't see trash cans so just figured we leave our dishes at the table so sorry to staff if we were wrong!

This place is similar to Panera without as many options. I got the chicken pesto half sandwich with a side of bacon macaroni and cheese. Overall both were pretty good and I'll probably go back again.

This place was not very busy for dinner. The food was OK but nothing to brag about. The desserts looked wonderful but didn't have any. We had the lemon chicken orzo soup which was pretty good n slightly creamy. The chicken carbonara had a great presentation but bland tasting. The roast beef and goat cheese on Potatoe Thyme bread was on not a lot of goat cheese. I will be back to try the breakfast menu to see if it scores higher!

ZERO complaints whatsoever with Corner Bakery Cafe! Living in Clearwater and as of writing this review this is the only sort of close Corner Bakery Cafe near me. I recently tried it for the first time and my meal was perfect. Yes, it is very similar to Panera Bread but there are a few major differences: breakfast is available all day (eggs only available scrambled), they bring the food to you, and when you're done you leave the dishes/garbage on the table and the staff cleans up. For my first and only visit so far, I got a grilled chicken and cheese sandwich was very good. Food came quickly and the olive oil but on the sandwich made it taste even better. I did not try any desserts/baked goods this time (even though all of it looked amazing), but I will definitely try at least a cookie next time because I can guarantee you I will be returning!

I was anxiously waiting for this location to open and unfortunately, my excitement has diminished. I have been to this location 3 times - breakfast, lunch and dinner. All three visits have been the same...mediocre at best. The food quality is fair, the portions are not worth what you pay and the service is the pits. There are so many great choices around the Brandon area...don't waste your time or money at this place. :-(.

Love this place! My grandfather and I go here at least once a week. Chopped salad is by far my favorite.

At first, I grimaced when I saw another bakery/coffee stop being added to the Brandon area. Especially right next door to a Starbucks. We ended up meeting a couple of friends here for breakfast and I was pleasantly surprised. The overall feel is definitely similar to Panera with a more rustic appeal and less bakery items in cases. I like the food runners to your table (via a number card) vs. standing at a counter and the beeper and the more hearty menu options. I tried the chicken apple sausage breakfast sandwich. I enjoyed it. The sandwich was prepared a little more nicely than most items I've had at competitive breakfast stops. The ingredients were better quality, actual scrambled eggs instead of an egg like circle thing! A friend ordered a full breakfast and I admit I had plate envy, but did not try anything on his plate. The coffee selection was typical- regular, decaf, strong, hazelnut. Good-nothing mind blowing. We occupied a booth for over an hour with many check ins from numerous employees to make sure we were taken care of. Good addition to the Recency side! I'd give 3.5 star if possible, but until I go again and they earn that 4th, 3 it is. :)

Check in free cookie is a plus. Food is always hot and fresh! Plus they clean up after you quickly. I really enjoyed the pomegranate signature drink station.

Great light meals that leave us feeling content but not stuffed. They are nice, attentive, and fast with service. I'd like to try out the catering.

Scrambled eggs that aren't from real eggs? You know, eggs that you crack to open and put on a grill to scramble? You're kidding, right? They looked gross, tasted gross and didn't work for me. The bacon was so-so. The toast was great - normally I don't eat bread but this was worth it. Coffee was tasty. Fresh fruit ok.People were nice, especially the woman who brings your food.
