Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

We were some of he 1st customers of the day. Food was reheated from last night... (more then evident) ... All crusted over. Straight up asked the guy making our burrito bowl....he smirked & embarrassingly admitted that the food was reheated and mixed with some fresh from this morning. The chicken was cooked but was less than Luke warm. Manager was very nice and refunded our entire check (including drinks) but we will not be back to this location.

This was one of the first places I came to when I moved to the Brandon area. I had never been to a chipotle before (sad because I lived in Denver) but I really don't eat "fast food" much. Because I lived in a hotel, this was a great healthy choice and I was hooked! I pretty much stuck with the veggie bowls and the sofritas, but everything was spiced to perfection and the ingredients were obviously high quality and fresh. The reason I give three stars instead of five is because this location is crazy packed.... Like line out the door packed. The staff seemed to be properly trained for the volume which was good, especially since they are a fairly new location. Also, they didn't sell beer like they advertised upon the store opening which was a bit misleading (although that might have changed now). All in all, definitely a great choice for fast casual dining for everyone of all dietary needs. Will definitely be back, just maybe not Saturday again.

I just experienced the worst meal I've ever had at a Chipotle restaurant. The service was typical of a lunchtime rush. I wasn't disappointed by the customer service other than being required to wait a few minutes extra to receive chicken for my salad. We took our meals to-go. Upon opening my chicken salad - my usual - I discovered the chicken to be nothing but chucks of disgusting, fatty filled tendons and not the tasty white meat I have previously enjoyed at other locations. If this is the quality that this location puts out, I will certainly take my business elsewhere. I couldn't even stomach half of my salad due to the inedible quality of the meat in my salad. This is not the product that I have grown to love from Chipotle over the years. I'm severely disappointed and will not return to this location.

Grossed out! I was enjoying my bowl when I looked down and saw a hair. It was not mine as I have blonde straight hair and this was brown/red and curly. I don't recommend this place! GROSS!!!

I don't get it. I'd much rather a Tropichop bowl from Pollo Tropical. It tastes like Moe's. Bland. Service was good. Went for lunch during the week. I requested the rice without cilantro, pulled pork, black beans, mild salsa, sour cream and cheese. The salsa had a little kick (and cilantro), but nothing that stood out. The beans and pulled pork were flavorless as well. The chips were good, I think that they have lime juice on them. Probably won't be back...

I just moved here from DC and people would wait in a long that went all the way to the front door. I was happy to see their was a chipotle close by. This had to be my worst experience ever. There were only a few people in line and it took forever. They had only one guy serving, while another guy was cleaning, and the girl at the register left after each customer so u had to wait until she cam back. It was the smallest salad I ever gotten from chipolte, The guy barely put any salad in my bowl and the chicken was mostly dark meat with alot of fat. Onions and peppers were very soggy and looked like they been sitting there all day. My stomach did not feel good after eating this crap but I was hungry at the time. I am going to have to take a break from chipotle after this bad experience and try a different location in the future.

The chicken here is terrible. They don't cut off the fat and every other bite is squishy, fatty meat! Gross!!

Better than your normal fast food. My hubby and I stopped here for lunch. We shared a Chicken Bowl w/extra meat. It was good, apparently the chicken is the least spiciest meat but it still had a kick. This was plenty for us to share and was about $12 bucks with a drink. We wouldn't make it a point to go back but if we happen to go we would be fine with that.

Chipotle is one of my favorites and I'm so glad they've opened a restaurant in a convenient location for people that don't want to fight mall traffic to go to the one in the food court. I went there last night for dinner and still love their food. The guacamole is fresh and their jasmine rice gives a little something extra to the burrito. As a Moe's fan I'm torn between which quick place to go and they both have their pros and cons. However, I am happy to have Chipotle as an option now and will definitely be back. The space is new as it only opened March 30th, and is clean with plenty of seating options.

One of the best chipotle locations around. Service is fast, staff is very friendly and the quality of food is consistent with other locations around tampa. No complaints from me.

Chipolte is a fairly quick and easy spot to grab a casual meal. I met up with my mom here on a whim because we were both in the area around dinnertime. It took about 10 minutes to get through the line, but that seems below the average wait time for other Chipoltes around Tampa. It was my mom's first time there so she just copied my order - a barbacoa bowl with white rice and black beans. I get the green mild salsa and corn, with shredded cheese and light lettuce. Her toppings varied slightly. We also got a bag of chips to scoop the bowl mixture up with - my preference over tacos or burritos. The chips are so crunchy and delicious here, must be made in house. So the amount of food piled higher than the bowl. Made it messy to mix up, but it was enough to save some as a snack for later. And it all tasted very fresh. The only complaint I have is that some of the tables, especially the ones outside, were dirty. I'll still happily stop by here again, though.

I love chipotle. The guacamole is the best I've ever had! I get the salad bowl with brown rice, black beans, fajita veggies, corn salsa, sour cream and guacamole. It is delicious, this location outside the mall gets crazy busy. But they offer online ordering which makes it great if your in a rush!

So-so speed of service today, though the first employee started off my order with a friendly smile and fast service...downhill from there. I thought I had kept a close eye on my two bowls as they were assembled. They were almost identical (carnitas, brown rice, black beans, mild salsa, corn salsa, sour cream, quac, cheese) except for one that had added onions/peppers. I watched as they were passed down the line, but must have lost sight for a second as they got close to the register. I should of had a clue when the register person tried to give me just one bowl...shame on me for not double checking. Got home, sure enough mine with the onions/peppers was fine, the other (apparently someone elses order), missing quac, and had medium salsa. Yikes! My wife ready to kill me for getting hot salsa and no quac. Could not even eat half of it because it was just too spicy for her. Thanks a lot Chipolte!

Newer to the Brandon area. This Chipotle is always my "go-to" when I'm wanting a quick meal. I've become "a regular" and continue to go back to this location due to the friendly staff, wonderful management, consistency, and quality of food. Occasionally catch a long line, but worth the wait for the pleasant interaction.

Ordered our family dinner and found a piece of chewed chewing gum at the bottom of the cardboard plate. Asked to see the manager and she said "sorry, would you like another plate?" Didn't feel like she understood how disgusting it was for the customer. Hope she passed the info on to her superiors and the rest of the staff.

I when to the mall around 10 ish the food court wasn't open quite yet.. So I ask the chipotle server what time would you be serving. They told me 10:45 ok that give me time to walk around the mall. I came back on time ready to order my food. They told me to wait 15 more minutes at this point all the food was ready to serve and go. I can see everything is all set the employees there just standing there doing nothing. Not happy how they hold the situation. I would recommend to just drive out the of mall to the location in front. Much nicer service.

Awful. No sense of urgency whatsoever, half the staff was on break during a lunch rush, leaving one girl on the prep line and cooking. Lots of transient type people walking in and getting water from staff. Chips had a very strong vinegar taste and overall food had an odd taste (I had a burrito bowl with barbacoa).

My boyfriend and I had a bad experience last weekend with a to go and corporate sent us a voucher for two full meals asking us to try the location again. Worst experience I've ever had at chipotle and so disappointing. We had to wait 10 minutes for steak because the girl didn't cook the steak when asked and then it took so long to get them that the burritos were cold. Stale chips and very few of the tables wiped. Maybe they do better when they aren't busy but I'm not coming back to see. Doubtful that my boyfriend will want to take me to Chipotle at all since both experiences have been awful.
