Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

This is our new neighborhood bar and wing joint. The wings are great so I always get them, but the other options are just as good. My only complaint is that they really should have found a larger location. It's on the small side and always crowded but at least that tells you the food is good.

Has a variety of food. Prices are moderate and comparable to other restaurants in the area. Enjoyed the pizza, sandwiches, salads and wings. Be sure to finish with the funnel fries. Location is far off the main road so you need to know where it is. Atmosphere and service are excellent. Definitely worth a try.

This is the best place in the area for pizza by far. The inside is actually pretty decent and they offer a good amount of craft and bottle beer. Their sandwiches are small, but tasted good. If there was enough meat inside, they would be top in the area for sandwiches as well.

My family has been there several times the food is always great, service couldn't be better and prices are fair. We love the daily lunch special and there's always a different homemade soup.

Just had s pizza from this place for the first and last time. The dough was like cardboard. The sauce was just ok. Total lack of cheese on the pie. Very disappointed!

So tonight was our third try here. I am thinking three strikes you're out. We went for the wings tonight and I have to say I was kinda disappointed. I ordered the garlic parm and my hubby and daughter had the mild. We asked for them to be crispy and well done. Well...unbeknownst to us, they fry their wings and THEN finish them on the grill top??!? I have never heard of this. I have worked in a few places that served wings and never heard of this and my Husband is in the food service world for over 20 years and he's never heard of this. Now I wouldn't ordinarily have a problem with finishing something in the oven or the flat top but the wings get a charring on them that changes the taste and not for the better. The wings are a nice size and they don't charge extra for all flats which is nice too...but the burnt aspect from the grill top is not appealing. Their wings do come out a little on the dry side so if you like things saucy you need to make that clear to the waitstaff or you'll pay for extra hot sauce.

Very good meal, wings cooked on an open flame are my favourite and Wolves Head certainly delivers. Highly recommend the Calypso flavour.

The place is crowded on a Friday night, which is a good sign. The wait staff is very nice despite the crowd. Waiting for the pizza! Beer is great so far, nice selection of draughts, including local brews: Big top, Darwin's, Motor Works, and Cigar City! The pizza is here and it is delicious! Well worth the wait! Not at all greasy with very thin, crisp crust! Yum! Will definitely be back with reinforcements!

I'm just not sold. Came here for lunch and had some pizza and soft pretzels. Really nothing to write home about. The pizza wasn't terrible....more like meh. I'd possibly come back for some draft beer, but that's about it.

Overall a very good experience. Everyone there was extremely friendly. I haven't seen a happier bunch like this working together and I'm not kidding. Its a small restaurant/bar with a very comfortable atmosphere. The food was great although we both ordered the same, WINGS. Let me tell you something. These wings are now in my Top 5 establishments to go to for wings. Fried then grilled! 2nd time I've had wings prepared like this and I love them! (See pic) Next time I'm going to complement my wings with pizza. They looked damn good coming out of that oven.. LoL Good overall experience. Wish it was closer to home. The restaurant's only downfall is the location. They are tucked in a corner with limited parking..

Owner previously owned ED'S tavern on Lakewood ranch main st. As like ED'S great bar/Restaurant family friendly atmosphere good beer and wine selection have yet to have a meal I didn't like, love the bar pies and wings with calipso sauce. Getting ready to expand AWESOME.

My wife and I went there to try the food when it first opened. Unfortunately when we sat down, there was no beer menu even though it is touted to be a tavern. There was an overwhelming smell of bleach. It was strong enough to make us leave immediately. Sadly, every business in that plaza seems to be lacklustre. There have been several restaurants in the same space before it. We have no interest in visiting again. First impressions are lasting ones and unfortunately it wasn't very well. Hopefully other people have had better luck.

We ordered a fried shrimp basket with fries, Chicken tender basket with fries, the black and blue chips and fried pickles. We ordered for take-out thankfully! When I picked it up the place was PACKED. A good problem to have! Seemed very family friendly as there was a 1man live band and kids were running around. We will definitely be visiting as a family and eating in the restaurant next time.

I can't say enough good things about this place! Everything I have eaten there is great, the bartenders and waitresses are the friendliest in the area and everyone makes me feel at home! Try the bar pie!!!!

Great food, lots of beer on draught..the owner is great. He and the rest of the staff are always smiling and enjoying their interaction and service with the patrons. The pizza is awesome...hands down best in the area. Stromboli is great...but honesty, I've never had a bad meal or drink here. Plenty of big flatscreens to watch the games. They have daily lunch special as well as gameday specials. I've heard it can get a bit crowded at dinner time and later. There really are a lack of restaurant/bar choices in the area, this place stands out as one of the better options and would be able to hold its own even when more options eventually find their way to NE Bradenton. BTW, to the reviewer who has never heard of frying the hot wings and finishing them on the grill...This is called "Daytona" style which was started/popularized by Hooters more than a decade or so ago. I'm originally from South Florida and most of the wing joints there either offer this option our use it as their "house" style of wings. I prefer them this way...much better taste IMHO. Great little place all around.

It's very good but not great you will not be disapointed. Service is good, food above adverge TV's cold beer. The red color walls and design of the restaurant does disservice to the quality of the establishment.

Descent parm garlic wings, but not much garlic. We had the sliced potato "chips" with blue cheese and balsamic vinegar, but TOO little of the toppings, NOT nearly enough to cover all of the "chips". I'm revising this review based on their service, NOT their food. I've only had the wings, which I rated a 3 the first time, but now I'm revising my rating based on the AWFUL service, actually NO service that we got this weekend. Because we got NO service, we left. We were going to order a pizza, but based on what I"ve read now, I'm glad that we didn't eat there, sounds like their pizza is as bad as their service, or lack thereof.

Best pizza around, and best place to watch a game. They now have $2.50 Bud Lights instead of Coors Light.
(5)Jim F.
Nice alternative, the pizza is good the garlic parm wings were good also. My only complaint is the lack of Budweiser products, I mean who doesn't have Bud light?
