This find had me super excited after eating lots of salads (being a veggie and GF is difficult in FL)! The cheese crust pizza was AMAZING! Not like the typical frozen/reheat you get most places. These guys know their GF and it was amazing to hear them get excited about "trying new recipes"! Their mozz sticks were fabulous and my non- GF friend was hooked. Homemade sauce was just like being in NY. Do yourself a favor and get one of their baked treats. The turtle brownie was a special late-night treat.

Secret time I've ordered from them the guys on the phone are not very pleasant. The food is average at best. Nothing really to brag about.

Family owned and operated! We were in town looking for carry out on our last night in town. The owner's father waited on us, and he was so friendly. They also have great gluten free options and yummy GF desserts. We will be back!

Will go back again and try there other dishes. Had a medium thin crust mushroom and sausage pizza and it was good!! Will be back and try other pies. It was a takeout I did for me and my wife. Wife is picky and she said it was good and where did I go to get it. It is near enough to the house that I will be back for sure.

The gluten free pizza was still excellent, but the staff was very rude. I hope to see better service next time I'm in Sarasota.

I ordered shrimp scampi with pasta. Shrimp was salty like it sat in salted water for a month. And the pasta was like eating cream of wheat. All mushy save your self a trip.....

Absolutely Amazing! The quality of the food was outstanding! I had gluten free mozzarella sticks, gluten free toasted ravioli, gluten free eggplant parmesan, and gluten free key lime pie!!!! I haven't had any of that in 5 years!!!! We are on vacation for a week and we will be going back again! I recommend this place to any person who wants amazing gluten free food. My family said the regular items were just as good!!! Can't wait to try another gluten free dish and dessert!

A pizza place in Bradenton that offers a vegan menu!! Based off location you wouldn't expect much from this place but I've been here a handful of times and the food is consistently good! Plus they have vegan cupcakes :) Definitely a great local business to support.

We had carryout from this place the other day and were pretty impressed! The reason we stopped in was because they offered a vegan menu. We ordered the Margherita pizza with the 9 grain crust and the eggplant appetizer. The sauces were very fresh tasting and nicely spiced. The pizza crust was also unusually good. The eggplant appetizer was a bit pricey, but also tasty. Overall, I liked the place a lot. I'd just like to see even healthier options and perhaps a few more vegan additions, but really that's just nitpicking. We were very pleased and will be back! P. S. I love their little signs posted around the place. I'll share a picture of one.

Grub Guru stopped in this joint last week and ordered the bruchetta- it was ok...not good. Ordered Hawaiian pizza- good...but not great. Ordered eggplant parm sandwich- bland...asked for more marinara. Chicken parm sandwich the same and vegan eggplant entree was so-so. $72 Bill...wow. Owners have been through some personal obstacles and being from the northeast, I was hoping to have some classic NY style pie and fare. They have enormous potential!

A mere shadow of what it was a year ago! Early 2014 the gluten free pizza was ambrosia. What was once a delicious crust is now a burnt chard! I am not exaggerating this place will not be around much longer after the obvious nose dive in food quality. Seriously the gluten free frozen pizza at Trader Joe's is better! The is a real review by a real person; in the news Hillary Clinton is being criticized for her email errors

My family came in for dinner because we heard the had Gluten Free Pizza, We were excited and also scared lots of places are jumping on the Gluten Free wagon and most pizza's are frozen crusts that taste like cardboard, But we were surprised to find that they had a huge selection of Gluten Free items and tasty, We had a GF pepperoni pizza & GF chicken parm with GF penne pasta. Thanks It is well worth the trip!

Ate here with my husband, brother and his wife after reading they were vegan and gluten free friendly and we were not disappointed. The crust on my gluten free pizza was thin and crispy. I got the vegan option and was very happy with it even though a section of the crust was a bit too brown. It is family owned and operated. Our waitress was also the owner and said she makes her own gluten free flour and does all the baking. They also had a gluten free, vegan lasagna and eggplant Parmesan I would love to try. Husband was happy to see a pizzaghetti on the menu which he ordered. We used to have a pizza place and he would bake a similar pizza for our family. It is pizza crust topped with spaghetti and meatballs and he loved it. Brother was very happy with his fish sandwich and sister in law ordered a delicious looking chicken barbecue pizza that she loved. Will definitely go back sometime. The place is an inauspicious looking strip center but we were pleased to have the option of eating in at some nice tables or dining outside at a couple of tables.

I have never seen so many good Gluten-Free options on a Menu!!! This restaurant is wonderful. From the service to the food, it can't be beat. As someone who has been Gluten- Free for 8 years this is the first time I have been able to walk into a shop and order GF food that taste like real Italian food. Being an Italian from NY, this is something I have greatly missed. The owner will be at the shop often, and you can't miss him. He is down-to-earth and remembers all the regulars orders as they walk in. He has a great sense of humor and makes you feel welcome. I feel that Bradenton is lucky to have such a place.

Who knew that in a small town like this you could find a restaurant with a full-on vegan Italian menu? I absolutely love the food at Vertoris. They have real delicious and savory vegan dishes here; don't expect salad as your only option if you are a vegan or vegetarian. What's even better is that their portions are HUGE and their vegan menu is decently priced/quite modest, in my opinion. I always end up taking food home when I come here, because they always give you so much for the price. I definitely recommend doing the create your own pizza, as well as my favourite appetizers: vegan garlic knots and vegan potato skins (so good!) Definitely try this place if you are a vegetarian or vegan!

Had the chicken pesto on the 9 grain and it was fantastic! This place is a sleeper and could definitely see myself becoming a regular here.

Great food but.. What business owner closes a pizza place at 9pm especially on a weekend. Doesn't make sense!

**WARNING: If you are gluten sensitive or have celiac disease, steer clear from this place as you will definitely get cross contamination! More on that below.*** My husband and I gave Vertoris two chances, and both were quite possibly the worst dining experiences we've ever had. It's a small, grimy little restaurant (think gas station bathrooms and sticky floors) with overpriced flavorless food, rude staff and excruciatingly slow service. On our first visit, their dough-based foods (pizza/garlic knots/ ravioli) were rubbery and bland and LOADED with oil, and their cupcakes were inedibly dry with a mayo-consistency frosting (we barely mustered a bite.) The horrible service pushed it over the top. I normally would never revisit a place like this, but after being diagnosed with a gluten allergy, I decided to give their large GF menu a chance. I called ahead to ask about the contamination and they acted like they didn't want to be bothered. As it turns out, all of their food is contaminated. Gluten is airborne and the GF food is prepared in the same kitchen and baked in the same ovens as the rest of their food. (Scratch-made dough and hand-tossed pizzas = lots of flying flour. The air almost feels thick with flour.) To top it off, the kitchen is open, with no wall blocking flour from flying all around diners heads. It only takes a trace amount of gluten to make an intolerant person sick for up to 5 months. I know that's not their problem, but it is if they falsely advertise a GF menu. We waited about 15 minutes before we got our drinks, and another 45 minutes for appetizers, and our waiter (presumably the owner) was as grumpy as Mr. Wilson. The food the second time around was just as bland and greasy (especially the pizza), although the GF mozz sticks were pretty good. In the end, we both left with queazy stomachs and my husband had to rush home for the bathroom, if you get my drift. I wouldn't mind the horribly long wait or the rude staff IF the food was amazing and truly gluten free. But because their food is nothing special (and sometimes downright inedible), and comes with a sure risk of contamination, it's just not worth it and we will surely never be back. With such rotten attitudes, they might want to ask themselves why exactly they have a restaurant in the first place.

My wife, daughter, and I found this awesome place through a gluten free app. After driving through a super monsoon, we finally arrived. The strip mall is not the prettiest, but that is not what is rating is about. My wife and I both are gluten intolerant and we were super excited to find this hidden gem. We ordered the potato skins with dairy free cheese, WIN! Then we both ordered 10" pies and we enjoyed them dearly (so did our daughter). The only two minor negatives were the iced tea which tasted a little to tetley and the interior of the restauarant which could use some TLC. We had some uber delicios cupcakes after our meal. We WILL be returning when we are back in town. Anybody that knows the food business (I happen to own a few) will understand the slight uptick in price for gluten and dairy free. Job well done team, may you continue your success!

Incredible food, gluten and gluten free! The gluten free options are amazing and there are so many! The staff was very well informed about cross contamination and were so helpful - AND had completely separate grills and fryers for GF food. We had the GF pizza, fries and mozzarella sticks. My daughter, diagnosed with celiac, has never even tasted a mozzarella stick (which breaks my heart) and she loved it! I was highly impressed and will go back many more times.

At first I was afraid that the quality would drop when the business was sold to its current owners. Was I wrong! Last night four of us enjoyed: pepperoni pizza, gluten-free ricotta stuffed shells, shrimp po'boy, and a chicken Parmesan sandwich. Everyone gave a big thumbs-up. Even my picky Italian husband loves this food. The salad that comes with the entrees was average, but the house dressing...amazing! The food is definitely better. Very tasty, perfectly prepared and ample portions. Five stars because of the ability to order safely-gluten free delicious Italian food, and truly yummy desserts--a ton of them gluten-free as well. A treasure!

I had heard good things about this place and wanted to find a good pizza joint closer to us than Danny's (which we LOVE). we really wanted to like it. Got it home and sadly we're not impressed. Pizza was really greasy and the crust was not as thin as we like. I realized after that they had a thin crust option, but it wasn't offered to us over the phone. I also ordered the eggplant lasagna. Ate three bites, no more. The eggplant slices were way too thick, so were undercooked. And the sauce for some reason tasted heavily of vinegar to me. I would like to give it one more try since they're close to us, so we'll see....

I'm new to a GF diet. I had their GF pizza, garlic bread, and flourless chocolate cake. Delicious! If I hadn't specifically ordered GF, I doubt I would have noticed the difference.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a gluten free and a vegan menu for this restaurant which peaked my interest. Food was good, a little pricy for basics though.

Vacationing on Anna Maria Island. I am gluten free and look for that exceptional experience of gluten free dining. Which rarely happen. Vertoris is that exceptional gluten free dining. You wont be disappointed. Huge selection.

Why is a White Mediterranean Pizza $25.50 here? $24.99 is the menu price on this, so I had to try it and see what the big deal is. That is just for a 16" as well, enough for two people. For the same amount of money you could have a nice dine-in dinner for two with tip for that much. I am totally confused why their pizzas cost $5.00 more than anywhere else for the same quality. For example- Sicilianos restaurant a block away, family owned, larger pizza that has more flavor for $14.99. It definitely does not taste like gourmet pizza, so why the gourmet prices? Interesting...

We went to Vertori's while on vacation and had a party of 12, they accommodated us right away. The restaurant itself is fairly small, but is comfortable. The food is definitely homemade and delicious!! The service was very good and the staff was friendly. Great fresh homemade desserts, The key lime pie and the cannolis were to die for! Overall this was a wonderful quaint pizzeria with limited seating and was a family-friendly place.

I came here with my husband and daughter while we were in Bradenton visiting her. It was some great pizza, I would definitely come back if I lived in the area. The inside of the restaurant is really nice, I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was really good. I got pizza, my husband got stuffed shells and he loved them. The pizza was great and lots of choices. There's also a gluten-free menu which I thought was nice (especially got a pizza place) they even had gluten-free beer (we had wine with our dinner though). The waiter was super friendly and attentive, everything I could ask for in a waiter. I would definitely recommend this place to the locals in this area, if you haven't tried it yet, go!

WOO HOO! I loved this place! They have a full Gluten Free Menu, including pizza, pasta, bread, and desserts! It's crazy! I love it! The Mozzarella sticks and the pizza are awesome! What a treat! Oh and they have gluten free beer! Finally, a place to get pizza and beer with family and friends and not get sick from gluten! Everyone I was with said the regular food was great too! It's super casual and the staff is really helpful and friendly. They will even ship their food to you if you want. We had never been there and our server brought us samples of a few different things to try.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
