Had their fiesta wrap for lunch, and it was pretty great. Except their homemade chips were kind of stale. Been there for drinks at night and it has a great vibe. One of my fav places in btown ever since I moved here.

Everything we had was delicious. Started with two dirty martinis and the banana pepper appetizer. Martinis were strong and peppers were generous, hot and slightly spicy. Shared the bowl of gazpacho and small strawberry salad along with a glass of half priced sauv blanc. Would order all of it again. We had two great servers, can't remember their names due to the martinis and wine, but both were great. Highly recommend.

Had a great dinner here last night: crab cakes for me and wahoo for husband. Today, I returned for solo lunch. Ordered the lobster BLT which is described as chunks of lobster, applewood bacon, you get the drift. The sammie was imitation crab. I asked the waitress about it. She said lobster and to her credit she went to kitchen and asked. She returned telling me it was crab and lobster mixed together. Without asking she removed it from bill. Great waitress. Crappy sandwich. As for the owner of O'Bricks- update that sandwich menu. To me, false advertising .

Great food, even better staff! Still the best place in downtown Bradenton to get some grub! If you go make sure you sit with Emma at the bar, she's amazing!

Excellent, and courteous staff. Great draft selection, tasty martinis, and the food was perfect! Not a single complaint about this place, will make it a point to go again before going back home to Arizona. Wife had the Fish and Chips, and I had the Lobster BLT, we split the mussel appetizer. All the food was cooked perfectly, and has awesome flavor!

Excellent cuisine. Knowledgeable, friendly wait-staff. Good drinks, great wine and did I mention the excellent cuisine? Terrific spot for lunch or dinner, whether you want to dine inside or opt for outdoor seating in the heart of downtown Bradenton.

This is a great place to take a date or have a date night out. It's a little bit on the pricey side but not too bad all of the food is amazing. Be wary this place gets severely packed on Friday and Saturday nights because it is that good!

Great bar. The bar is back shadowed by a brick wall giving it that old school feel. Atmosphere is good and staff is on top of things with friendly service and good management. The food is good, not great...more of a drinking establishment and probably the best on the downtown strip. Stick with the appetizers (stuffed peppers). No smoking in the bar so you will stay so fresh and so clean clean!

We loved coming back to this bar over and over again. The service is so friendly and the drinks and food really great for being a pub. Check out the happy hour venues; so worth it!
(5)
Mike M.
One of the few bars on this strip which doesn't allow smoking inside (suppose that is because it doubles as a restaurant), which was a plus. Came here twice while staying in the area for a few days. Both times I had a good experience, Captain Morgan happy hour which starts at 2 p.m. is pretty great when you are on vacation, and the bar tender was very friendly and had a heavy hand on the Tito's vodka (no complaints). Food was above average, the chicken wing appetizer was excellent and the portion would be plenty for a full meal. Group also got a grouper sandwich (tasty) and the stuffed peppers (tasted better than they looked). If I were back in town, would definitely pop back in...

You don't have to be Irish to love this pub. Excellent service and food at reasonable price. We were in a rush last night and staff was very accommodating from beginning to finish. Oh, I have the misfortune to be gluten intolerant and they not only have a gluten-free menu but also make adjustments for me.

Excellent service, outstanding food, great venue, and reasonable prices. What else are you looking for? I came with a group of 9, and the staff took care of us like a party of 2! Our waiter was knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. The stuffed banana pepper app and the mussels were simply delicious. Several of us had steaks; all were cooked exactly as ordered. Everyone in our party of 9 was not just happy, but extremely happy, with the quality of the food and the service! I really just can't say enough positive things about this place!

I checked out 3 bars on the Main st and this bar had the freshest air in my opinion (least smokey). Bartender was a doll.

This place is always good! Their lobster mac and cheese is to die for. We go here often for lunch and dinner. Staff is always there when you need and the food is always consistent. I give them 4 stars because they really need new stools and chairs at the bar area. They're so uncomfortable that I usually have to stand.

Outstanding meal tonight, my sea bass was cooked to perfection and Ricks crab cakes and oysters were awesome.

O'Bricks is my favorite restaurant and bar in Bradenton! There food is amazing! I've tried everything from their appetizers, sandwiches, and dinner entrees and have yet to find something I didn't like. It's also great for nightlife with the bar ( that's also serves food until a certain hour) right next door to the restaurant. They have great prices on drinks during happy hour and their bar is smoke free all hours of the day. You can choose from quitter indoor seating, outdoor seating, or pub style at the bar.

Stumbled on this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by what was offered. The expectation was Bar food but It was much more than that. Real napkins on the table and a full wine list with great offerings. The menu was varied and offered a great selection. I ordered the house salad and the Blackened grouper. The presentation was excellent with a tropical flower on the plate and the meal was superb . My wife had a blackened to sandwich that she was very pleased with. The dessert was a home cooked large chocolate chip cookie with a pile of great vanilla ice cream and chocolate sprinkles and whipped cream. Servie was good and the atmosphere was just a little loud because of the large crowd already there!

A very solid Place to eat and enjoy a nice relaxing atmosphere inside or outside in downtown Bradenton. The food is very good, along with quality service. We've enjoyed their ceased salad, Margherita FlatBread, Seafood Chimichanga, among others. They serve fresh Dinner Rolls with Olive oil/pesto dipping sauce. Excellent Martini's. Lastly, their Peanut Butter Pie is amazing for dessert, along with a nice espresso with a lemon peel. I highly recommend if you are in downtown Bradenton.

Didn't eat, just drank here the martinis are good and the bartenders are super nice, cute atmosphere!

My husband and I had an evening free in bradenton, and found this restaurant on yelp. We were very impressed with the ambiance, food, and service. We started out with the mushroom risotto, which was excellent. It was my husbands favorite part of dinner!! There was definitely none left at the end of the meal. My husband ordered the Pork Porter House Marsala. It was a huge portion and cooked to perfection. I ordered the buffalo blue salad with chicken. It was excellent! Next time I would order some sort of seafood to add to my salad instead of chicken, but I forgot I was so close to the ocean and good, fresh seafood! Oops. ;-) Definitely worth checking out!!

Food was good, but nothing exceptional. The servers were great, very friendly and attentive. I had the crab artichoke dip, which was pretty good, a tiny bit spicy which was a great touch. The grilled portobello sandwich was lackluster. Overall difficult to eat because of the construction of the sandwich, very little flavor. Asparagus was perfectly cooked and seasoned.

When my friend suggested that we go to dinner at O'bricks, I pictured a typical Irish Pub. As I am a fan of beer and pub food, I readily agreed. O'bricks is a lot more than a typical Irish Pub. The atmosphere is really nice and cozy. It is a smaller place, but the service was not lacking. We ordered Martinis as that is O'bricks' specialty and none of us were disappointed. As for appetizers: We got firecracker shrimp and stuffed banana peppers. Both were excellent - especially the peppers! So different, yet so flavorful. I ordered the salmon with maple glaze for my meal and it was really good. The price didn't break the bank and the server was very attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend O'bricks to anyone looking for a nicer affordable restaurant in downtown Bradenton.

Great place in Bradenton's downtown area. Not really an Irish Pub, which was good to me, as I think Irish food is not all that good. Had a wonderful $6.00 martini, so be sure to come on Martini Monday! and the Shrimp Eldorada Pasta was out of this world great! I will be back for sure.

What a little gem of a restaurant right in the heart of downtown Bradenton! O'Bricks is nestled amongst various other bars, cafes and shops right on 12th St. It's divided into two areas, the pub & martini bar on one side, and the other side is the more formal dining area known as "the grill." I have eaten/had drinks on both sides and had great experiences both times. On my first visit, my friends and I ate at a high top next to the bar and had a great meal. I enjoyed multiple lemon drop martinis (made perfectly, and they are strong!) and I had the grilled chicken chevre for my meal. The chicken was cooked perfectly and topped with chevre cheese, basil and a sundried tomato lemon butter sauce. My sister ordered one of the flatbreads, and that was excellent too. On my past visit, I went with a couple girlfriends to celebrate my birthday. We started off with martinis (obvs) and a couple appetizers - the firecracker shrimp and the stuffed hot banana peppers. I really liked the shrimp, and the stuffed banana peppers were very rich but oh so good. For my meal, I had the shrimp eldorada pasta which was REALLY good. I love that O'Bricks offers a petit size option for most of their entrees, it was the perfect size for me. I look forward to returning here. It's also open for lunch which is convenient for those working downtown. I imagine this place is very popular for happy hour, as the bar area does become crowded! Definitely recommend O'Bricks for a great martini and great food to go along with it.

Was in Bradenton and asked 2 different people for a recommendation. Both said O'Bricks so we tried it. Boy were we pleasantly surprised. By the name, we were expecting a bar with burgers etc. But It was so much more than that. The menu was varied and everything was amazing from the appetizers to the entrees. Sorry had no room for desert. The wine list was extensive with some great selections and if you go on a Wednesday, ALL the bottles of wines are half off.

Great food and reasonable prices! We are already planning to go back since the menu had a few things we wanted to try.

Stayed nearby at the Hampton Inn for a seminar and had this place recommended. For a lone traveler eating at the bar was a pleasure. Service very personal and attentive and while the food was good, the value based on price was exceptional. Definitely would recommend for business clientele.

Great food as far as entrees go, but not many choices for apps unless you're a big fan of seafood.

Great place . The white bean chicken chili soup is amazing . Burgers are fresh ! Not frozen . Friendly staff good atmosphere and in walking distance from the courtyard Marriott if your just in the area visiting like I am . My only complaint would be they play the smooth jazz station , maybe some Irish music would be better since its supposed to be an Irish pub or even classic rock I think should be better

Convenient location, downtown Bradenton on Main St. The food is good and there's a good wine list. You can sit outdoors weather permitting. The bar area is cozy with exposed bricks. Nice diningroom too. They make a great hummus plate!

The food was good but over priced for the quality. Definitely not authentic Irish food. The service was mediocre. Once the server finally came to our table it went well but that took at least 5-7 minutes while the rest of the staff just chatted near us not even thinking to take our drink order at least while we waited. I would not really recommend this. The photo I posted of the shepherds pie looked awesome but really it was just good. The quantity made the $10 worth it.

My mom took me her for dinner during my recent visit. We sat outside and received wonderful service throughout our meal. The happy prices were incredible (seriously, $3.00 for a Dogfish Head 60 Minute!) and their beverage options were solid. We started our meal with the Fried Green Tomatoes, which were wonderfully light and crisp. For our entrees, I got the mussels and enjoyed every bite of them. (The garlic bread that came with them was tasty, but I would have loved a nice hunk of plain, crusty bread to dip in the broth even more.) My mom got the lobster mac and cheese, which was rich and flavorful without being too heavy. For dessert, we shared their wonderfully tart key lime pie. This was definitely one of the best meals I've had in Bradenton!

One can never go wrong at O'Brick's. Today's White Bean Chicken Chili soup was beyond reproach. Paired with the lone merlot on the wine list it made for an enjoyable lunch. And as usual the service was exemplary.

I suggest the sea bass when they have it, wings are awesome (not traditional they are grilled) drinks are great and the flatbreads rock!

I strongly suggest trying the eggplant appetizer. It was awesome!!! Back here once again and will probably order the eggplant appetizer once again.

Came here for lunch and it was just ok. The atmosphere is very inviting, somewhat cozy and rustic. The service was fine, no complaints but nothing that stood out. All the lunches were reasonably priced, $8-9. I had the 1/2 of chicken salad sandwich and small salad combo. The dressing on the salad was delicious-creamy garlic. The chicken salad was nothing special. No flavors stood out. I thought portions were on the smaller side. It was just an average experience and I would not come here again with the other options on Main Street.

I love this quaint restaurant in downtown Bradenton! I like to frequent it for lunch and the waitstaff is always attentive and friendly. And the chicken wings are the best ever!

We were staying at a local hotel, checked out Yelp for a nearby restaurant and O'Bricks looked interesting - we are so glad we did! It was so good we came back three times and were not disappointed. I had crabcakes that we not full of filler - in fact I doubt they use any filler - and were well worth ordering. The bar has an extensive beer list and in itself is quite inviting. It's really not an Irish Pub - the menu is "upscale pub" - good salmon, burgers, shrimp dishes, pork, chicken - and incredibly reasonable, with regular and "petit" portions, which I think is great as it allows you to try a starter without getting bloated with a huge main dish. The bathrooms are clean - always a plus. I gave it five stars, considering the quality of the food and price-point. It's not a white tablecloth restaurant by any means but the service is prompt and friendly, the food very good and considering what's around it (bars), O'Bricks is a bright spot - I highly recommend giving it a try!

This place looked better than what the food delivered. I think that if you wanted to go to a bar where they have better food choices than an average bar, this would be a great place, but I expected more as a restaurant. We started with the stuffed banana peppers and they were probably the best dish of the night. My wife got the Seafood Chimichanga, but it wasn't fried, so that means it's not really a chimichanga. Rather it's an average seafood burrito that's missing beans. I got the Lobster Mac-n-Cheese. I am fairly confident the made some Kraft Mac-n-cheese from the box, threw in some lobster chunks and toasted some breadcrumbs on top. The "cheese" was watery and the pasta was poorly cooked. It was not good. I would only go back to have a drink at the bar.

Very nice place. Not pretentious, but nice. I like the bar area a lot; it was very classy but comfortable. The same can be said of the dining, but we elected to eat outside at the tables along the front of the building. I was very impressed with the menu and the service was fantastic. Can't ask for much more than that.

Service is consistently poor to horrific. Everything from sitting 15 minutes before your drink order is taken, to absolutely no service once you have placed your order. Under no circumstances should you expect a drink refill or someone to check that your food came out correctly. Also, they nickel and dime you for every little thing in a way I have never seen. The food is decent which is the only reason I have been convinced to return, but in general this is a poorly run establishment. There are far better places to spend your hard earned money. If you have no problem with epically terrible service and paying extra for trivial things like wanting (limp, lifeless) lettuce on your sandwich, then try your meat blackened. The blackening seasoning they use is good.

We had a great experience at O'Bricks last Saturday for lunch. We started with the 'build your own' Bloody Mary's. That was fun and the drinks were only 4.00/person. I think that's pretty good for a 12 ounce glass. From there we ordered our lunch in stages -- Fried Green Tomatoes as a starter - probably the best I've eaten around here. Horseradish sauce was really good. DEFINITELY will order again... maybe just for myself. My husband then tried the Black Bean Chili. Slightly spicy, very flavorable. Would order again (or may re-create at home). My husband had the fish tacos - fish was tempura. He loved them and he's a bit picky about his fish tacos. Now he had a couple of Bloody Mary's by this point...but I still trust his judgement :) I had a chicken sandwich with apple slaw that was big and fresh and very filling. Next time I want to try the chicken wings. Sat outside watching people peruse the Farmers Market. Took up a table for a couple of hours but compensated the server well for the lack of turn-over! Can't wait to go back.

O'Bricks is not an Irish pub. It's a really good restaurant that happens to be in/attached to a bar. 6 of us had dinner in the bar Saturday night. The food was delicious. Mussels in white wine, stuffed peppers, raw oysters, firecracker(not spicy...but good)shrimp My grouper entree was perfection. Martini menu is very interesting. The Poire was excellent. If you want to dine in the restaurant, make a reservation on the weekends. 2 hour wait at 7:00 on Saturday. So, we just went into the bar and waited for a table to open. Great vibe, lots of energy....so happy to have this in downtown Bradenton. We will be back.

The food was fair at best and nothing was included with lobster Mac and cheese that I ordered...it wasn't hot and the lobster chunks were few and far between.

The absolute best food in Bradenton by far. The menu is a mix of all the best things, pizza, seafood and delicious appetizers!

We give O'Bricks 10 thumbs up! There were five of us and we all really enjoyed our meals. Definitely not your average pub food. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip. It was very tasty. I had the pork loin which wouldn't be a typical choice for me. It was very tender and the flavour was unique and wonderful. My husband had the seafood quesadilla which he enjoyed. It was a very large portion. My parents chose the filet and the crab cake. Both were excellent choices. The filet was tender and the crab cake full of lump crab meat, not breaded. The sides were perfect and I had a starter salad that had strawberries and nuts that was a nice addition to my meal. One thing to note is that each of the dinners comes in the regular portion or a petite portion. This is really great for those of us with smaller appetites. My parents topped of their meal with espresso and were very impressed with the quality. The ambiance: They have the traditional pub room or outside seating for a more casual experience, or the fine dining room if you want something a little more formal. There is free parking in a parking garage in the evenings just behind the building. All and all - a great experience. Thank you O'Bricks we will be back.

Located in the downtown district of Bradenton, FL O'Bricks is a great place to kickback any day of the week! Great location, sports friendly but not too "sportsy", catch some great English Premier League games, enjoy a cold draft or ask Jen to make you one of her special mixes! Food is just a phone call away and there's lots of seating in a smoke-free environ! Show-up with your kids 'cause you have no one to watch them or they're all at O'Bricks - great curb seating & virgin drinks! It's O'Bricks for me!

Friendly and attentive staff, good food, good selection of adult beverages, sports on TVs in the bar, cozy and comfortable atmosphere. No smoking was a big plus for us. Will definitely come back when in the Bradenton area.

I came here for happy hour and so I'm only reviewing that and the drinks. Happy Hour: The prices are a little steep for the area but the drinks are much tastier. The service is quick and polite. No one at the bar (service wise) makes you feel like you need to leave as soon as your drink is finished. The waitress didn't seem to mind that we didn't order any food (which is a plus) and she was helpful in telling us what was in the drinks. Drinks: I had a saketini and it was yum. That is all. Being from Boston (where they aren't allowed to have happy hour), the price was good and the drink was decently strong. I was satisfied. Ambiance: There wasn't any other people at the bar but I guess we had arrived at 5pm on a Tuesday (which isn't quite the day to go out). The tables were clean and the decoration was simple. The waitress was polite and made the experience pleasant.

The addition of the "Grill" has turned this cool, little watering hole into a place you can frequent. The menu is excellent and far above 'grill' type food. Entry's are more on par with a nice restaurant and our meals have always been delicious. The original brick interiors give this a comfortable, old world charm that makes you want to stay. For such a hip place, the wine list is oddly more Friday's than Fleming's.

Let me start by saying how much I wish we had a place like this in Miami! Some friends and I came up to Bradenton for the weekend and our first stop was O'Bricks. Everything about this place is inviting, from the ambiance and decor to its knowledgeable friendly staff! They had great drink specials and extremely reasonable prices even when it wasn't happy hour! It's a great place to kick back and have a couple of drinks with friends or engage in lively discussions with local regulars! The crowd was great, not pretentious, no one putting on heirs. I loved it! This will definitely be a regular stop for me when in Bradenton! Oh...and when you go, be sure to ask for a "Black Castle"! Trust me...you won't be disappointed!

My wife and I went there Saturday 4/20 around 4:30. There were only two tables occupied, but it took us over 5 minutes to get a waitress. While the food and the eventual service were fine, the two tables that were occupied were EXTREMELY loud. When I asked the manager-on-duty to ask them to be a little quieter, he refused. When I said that this would be our first and last visit, he said he was sorry to hear that, and walked away. A good meal completely spoiled by poor customer service on management's part.

I've really tried to give this place a chance because it is the only non-smoking bar on Old Main. If you really enjoy snobbish bartenders in a snobbish crowd that really enjoy paying FAR too much for their drinks O'Bricks is your place. So, it's a snobbish, overpriced, unfriendly place that doesn't welcome pets, unlike the rest of the places on old main.. so just walk past, and if you even think it might be a place you would like, do yourself a favor and just make the drive to Sarasota.

In town for a few days, stumbled upon this joint in Yelp and glad I did. The food was great and the happy hour prices made it even better. I plan to stop by again before I leave town...well worth the effort to check out.

Excellent food with excellent service. You cant go wrong here. My fiancé and I just arrived from a long flight and decided to try O'Bricks from the yelp app. Our order was taken immediately from the bar and the bartender was fantastic. The food arrived within a short period and was phenomenal. We'll be back for more.
(5)Sam W.
We got the shrimp app., which was ok and the fried green tomatoes which were the best part of the meal. For our entrée we both had the crab cakes and they not good at all. I have never had crab cakes like this before. The only way I can describe it was like pancake batter with small bits of crab in it which was partially cooked on both sides. The inside was mushy and the crab ( what little there was) was very strong (and not in a good way). The service and martini were great which brought this to a 3 star review. Maybe the other entrees are good, but please pass on the crab cakes.

This place is always good! Their lobster mac and cheese is to die for. We go here often for lunch and dinner. Staff is always there when you need and the food is always consistent. I give them 4 stars because they really need new stools and chairs at the bar area. They're so uncomfortable that I usually have to stand.

We eat here often. I have never had a meal I didn't enjoy. The service is excellent as well. Highly recommend!

(5)Laura T.
Great food and reasonable prices! We are already planning to go back since the menu had a few things we wanted to try.
(4)Jeff P.
Stayed nearby at the Hampton Inn for a seminar and had this place recommended. For a lone traveler eating at the bar was a pleasure. Service very personal and attentive and while the food was good, the value based on price was exceptional. Definitely would recommend for business clientele.
(4)Jim M.
Great food as far as entrees go, but not many choices for apps unless you're a big fan of seafood.
(3)Mike Z.
(4)Steven S.
This place is terrific Good food good and friendly people too Great bar outside tables drink specials food specials All and all great place to go
(4)R B.
Convenient location, downtown Bradenton on Main St. The food is good and there's a good wine list. You can sit outdoors weather permitting. The bar area is cozy with exposed bricks. Nice diningroom too. They make a great hummus plate!
(4)Rachel D.

(5)Barry G.
I suggest the sea bass when they have it, wings are awesome (not traditional they are grilled) drinks are great and the flatbreads rock!
(5)Wayne F.
I strongly suggest trying the eggplant appetizer. It was awesome!!! Back here once again and will probably order the eggplant appetizer once again.
(4)Danielle D.

Had a fantastic dinner last night at O'Bricks. Loved the outdoor seating. Service was great and the food was fabulous. Prices are unbelievably reasonable. Absolutely loved the blackened pork loin. We'll definitely be back!

(5)George B.
The food was fair at best and nothing was included with lobster Mac and cheese that I ordered...it wasn't hot and the lobster chunks were few and far between.
(3)Carlie A.
The absolute best food in Bradenton by far. The menu is a mix of all the best things, pizza, seafood and delicious appetizers!
(5)Celeste L.

Had dinner there last night. The shrimp tempura was outstanding. Other's had fish and chips, flounder, and shrimp with pasta. All enjoyed their meals - no room left for dessert.
(5)Heather B.
I love ordering the lobster blt!

(5)Michiko W.

(4)Teresa E.

(2)William D.
(1)Lou M.
In town for a few days, stumbled upon this joint in Yelp and glad I did. The food was great and the happy hour prices made it even better. I plan to stop by again before I leave town...well worth the effort to check out.
