I am writing this review after I just left the Lucky Frog. The previous reviews were really good. But no one mentioned that this place is very very pricey for what it is. For a small breakfast sandwich and some fresh fruit I paid $10. That isn't even including my drink. The bread that my sandwich was on was so dry. The waitress told me (the best she could, I don't think she really knows what I was saying to her) that it was supposed to be toasted. It really was just a dry roll. She took my roll back with my swiss cheese melted on it. Said they'd would toast it. I told her "don't worry about it. I don't care for for it. " She didn't understand me. Then I hear my plate go in the microwave and they nuke it to warm it up. Then she brings it back out to me with a couple pats of butter. The picture looks good but it's very deceiving. I paid more for this meal than I do at my favorite breakfast cafe named after a wildflower in clearwater. They tried hard but I think maybe too hard. Some of the fruit on my plate wasn't even ripe. My cantaloupe had no flavor. I think they should really take a look at their prices. $10 for a breakfast sandwich you can get down the road for much less is ridiculous. I wouldn't have mind paying that if this breakfast knocked my socks off but it totally missed the mark.

Eat here!! The food is awesome and the staff is lovely and authentically German. This place is relatively new and is only open for breakfast and lunch but the food is awesome. They have also, a few takes outside. Charming place. Each table has fresh herbs that they use in the cooking. I had cheese spatezel with a lovely green salad with red and yellow bell peppers and this amazing dressing. I also ordered a side of or Vienna style (pork) schnitzel which was juicy and delicious. Hubby reports the sauerbraten was delicious. For dessert we had fluffy pancakes from Austria with pumpkin spice ice cream on top surrounded by different fruits. Good stuff!! This place is defiantly Good Eats!!

The food is so fresh and delicious. It is plated beautifully. The outdoor seating was so lovely today! It was breezy and just a wonderful meal and setting. I forgot I was in a shopping center.

We came for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the spaetzle and schnitzel. The cream sauce was well seasoned and delicious with the schnitzel. The waitress/owner has a heavy accent and got one of the orders totally wrong. We didn't mention it since the meal was still good. It does try to be upscale. The lunch prices were between $10 - 20 for the entree. We did receive the breakfast menu and I did feel the prices were high for the amount of food.

Ausgezeichnet!!! :-) Absolutely excellent German cuisine. Loved the Schnitzel and Gulasch. Kaiserschmarrn is a must have :-) If you like German food you will love this place :-)

Get the daily specials. This was my first time here and it was delicious. The owner cooks everything himself, so if it is busy, expect a wait. I got the German sausage in curry ketchup. It came with greens and multigrain bread for $4.95. My friend got the Goulash (beef) soup special in a bread bowl. It was yummy and came with a free refill. Next time I'm getting the soup and sandwich. They serve the soup in mason jars.

The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. Though they have a semi-limited menu, the food always comes out hot and exactly as ordered. I do not drink coffee so they made me a hot chocolate even though it wasn't on the menu. They also opened 20 minutes early for my friend and me on Sunday. You just can't find that sort of service anymore. Though their prices for a la carte items may seem expensive, they are quite bountiful. I have had many of there lunch items and have not been disappointed by anything! Go now if you get the chance and you won't be disappointed!

Did not disappoint! Very good and filling. I will definitely come back. I had the special: German sausage, sauerkraut, and potato salad. Cleaned my plate. There is no kids menu. Plenty of sides though.

Based on my two experiences at the Lucky Frog, I give them a well deserved five star rating for outstanding German cuisine.

Even the pickiest eater will be happy here. The food experience came unexpected in a small place like this, hidden in a strip mall. My tastbuds were tickled. Oh my....I ordered the fluffy pancakes, they came with fresh fruit and ice cream...yummm. I went back 2 days later, just couldn't get the menue out of my mind. I tried a quiche and changed my side to potatoe salad. A mind blowing experience, Took an extra order home, just in case I might be losing my mind again. They prepare caramel latte, capucchino....well any fancy coffee there is. But the pleasant staff needs to be addrested. The waiters always laugh and smile and the 2 chefs come out, and make sure everything is to your satisfaction . I go there once, twice a week now. Sometimes just to have someone give me a good laugh, Simone is hilarious! , but most importantly to eat fresh, good and healthy food. 5 stars!

Had the lucky princess, lucky pond and lucky frog (me and my wife) fresh and healthy but a bit pricey ($30) lunch...
