Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Amazing pizzas. Even more amazing Garlic Knots! Family-friendly, too! Other 5-Star reviews got us here, and we couldn't agree more! The waitstaff was very friendly. And, we finally found a place that was delicious AND didn't cost an arm and leg. Highly recommended!

A very nice surprise in the Bradenton area. The food, service and atmosphere were all very good. A fun place to have dinner with the family and enjoy the MLB All Star game. Our server Alexa V was very nice and kept things moving. Our Greek salad and caprese salad were excellent and the large meatball pizza was very good. Thanks to all for the hospitality at Danny's. Look forward to coming back.

Excellent Pizza! It has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We sat indoors to watch the games. They have tvs everywhere so you get a good view from about any seat. They offer Pepsi products and beer. It would have been nice to have a drink menu. We sat down and my only complaint besides the drink menu was we waited and waited for a menu. Finally when I asked if we order at the counter and did we get service. We received complimentary garlic knots which was very tasteful. The marinara sauce tasted fresh and was a nice compliment to the knots. We ordered a large xtra cheese pizza, how original! When we received the pizza it was smothered and covered in cheese. Yes exactly what I ordered. Next time, well skip the extra. They seem to be generous with the toppings. It looked delicious even before eating and the taste was no let down. It was delicious. The crust was thin and crispy at the ends. The sauce was perfect and fresh. The cheese was real mozzarella or a blend with it. Almost every pizza place says New York and I believe Danny may actually be from there. I thought it was very reasonably priced.

If you were wondering what my favorite pizza place is in Bradenton, it is Danny's. Just sayin'. Danny's has their newly expanded dining area, so now there is actually seating!!! After teasing us with this dining area for more than six months, we can actually dine in and enjoy ourselves. Why are they my favorite and obviously everyone else's favorite as well? ALL of the food is good. There, I said it. Every bite of food I have ever put into my mouth from Danny's is quality grub, from the; salads, complimentary garlic knots, marinara, pasta, calzones, various specials, and of course the pizza. Omg the pizza! I could continue to rave on, but it's not the 90's.

Excellent "New York style" pizza , nothing compares to NY style pizza of course but this place was pretty damn good. The pizza crust was just the way we like it nice and crispy and well done. The pepperonis on the pizza had a slightly spicy flavoring which was delicious and the sauce on the pizza was slightly sweet. The garlic knots where perfectly baked and seasoned. When I go back to Bradenton I will make sure to return here for my pizza run.

Love this place. Food is excellent! Staff is fun and friendly. Never been disappointed at Danny's!!

Probably the best pizza in Bradenton. When we want pizza takeout it's always Danny's. We also eat in occasionally when we are in the mood for full dinners off the menu. Food is good. Portions are large and prices are reasonable. Service is always friendly. Glad they expanded the dining room. This is a popular place and they needed the space.

Food is always great. The atmosphere is superb and my family eats Danny's at least once a week. It's priced well for what you get and the staff is friendly. My only complaint is that service is a bit slow, but that's because it's so busy due to popularity so it's a small complaint in the grand scheme of things. Highly recommend!

Pizza is excellent EVERY single time, and the garlic knots are always the perfect addition.

This place has been here for a whole and what was once once a "grab a slice and go" spot has turned into a nice restaurant to go for lunch or dinner. The baked ziti is superb and serves two easily. The subs at lunch are good and the house salad dressing is worth adding to any meal.

Been here twice, pizza is just ok, I think there is much better around for WAY cheaper.

Having grown up in the heart of little Italy in upstate NY, I am always skeptical of Italian restaurants. But one Yelp reviewer convinced me with the "my mother from NY said it was the best she'd had." I loved everything about Danny's. It felt like NY to me. The service was excellent. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana, which was absolutely perfect. The cheese. Omg. The cheese was done so right. I brought home leftovers and ate it for two more lunches. Husband said his chicken parmigiana was good, Andy son loved his pizza. If you are looking for authentic Italian in a typical NY atmosphere, this is it.

Really good ny style pizza. We come here every time we come to Anna Maria for vacation and it never did disappoints. The pizza crust is always perfectly crisp. My kids have had some of the kids meals and liked them as well. Only comment I will make is that while the garlic knots are very good , they could use a bit more butter and garlic.
(5)Propman ..
Glad Danny's is just down the street from the house. Another great meat lovers pizza ..Madison our server was great as always.

On vacation on Anna Maria island and needed A pizza fix found this place on yelp and it was excellent NY pizza and it was truly NY pizza not just NY style. Staff is friendly and they have a little bar area you can have a cold draft while you are waiting for your order. Go you won't be disappointed.

Being from South Jersey it is nice to find real pizza, not from a chain. Tastes like the pizza I remember from the corner place where the owners lived upstairs and the ground floor was a pizza joint. One of my favorites.
(4)Sarah T.
This place was delicious. We came here a couple days ago on my sisters recommendation. Try the garlic knots! My fiancé and I each ordered a calzone. It was huge. We wished we had ordered one to share. My mom agreed with my sister about this place having the best pizza around. Really reasonably priced too!
(5)Rose P.
Awesome food! My husband loves the pepperoni roll and I love their chicken cacciatore. Good food, good atmosphere!

I stopped by Danny's recently while visiting my mother. I live in Manhattan, I know good NY pizza. While Danny's has the right idea with the thin crust, the dough just doesn't come close - in fact the crust is nearly inedible. I tried it again cold the next morning (I love cold pizza) and would go so far as to say it was bad. Add to the fact that a medium pie cost me $18, took 50 mins (10 mins longer than they told me) and the placed is in a cramped space for the number of patrons they pull and they get a 3/5 (really more like a 2.5/5 but ill round up). Still probably the best pizza in the area but they need to drop the $2 delivery to get rid of traffic in the store ASAP.

Mango habanero sauce is the bomb diggity!!!
(5)William S.
Just ordered a pizza for pick up. Was ready on time. First white pizza I have ever had. It was good. Friendly staff. Next time I will try one with sauce. Love the New York style pie. Even tho I grew up in Cleveland we had a few New York style pizza places back then and I still love that style. Have had pizzas from NYC to Boston to Chicago and the rest of the country Danny's is up there with some of the best.
(4)C. N.
Buy slices to go- they toss them in the oven to make them crispy. Can also dine in.
(4)Richard R.
Doesn't get any better.. From The Jersey Shore and "I know from pizza..." Danny's has the crust, the sauce & the toppings down! Generous portions and their large pizza is XX-tra large anywhere else. Great staff of all local kids and they're all quality individuals. Tastes like home is an understatement! If you miss real NY/NJ style pizza, go to Danny's! If you're from Chicago, Danny's has some REAL pizza for ya! Salute'
(5)Fred P.
what happened burnt pizza and when we said its way over cooked waitress said i cant say anything the cook will get mad at me... OK duh Why are you here? where is the owner?... My wife had a chicken parm guess what its the same crappy chicken they serve you at Burger King! It was an oval patty, cut to look like a piece of chicken which once you saw it under all the sauce was the BK special..What the hell happened This was the best in Bradenton and not its burnt and crappy frozen chicken patties! Stop regroup and eat your food!!! Don't expand and serve crap you will end up closing it down!!!!!!!
(2)Amanda J.
LOVED this place. Pizza was great and they brought us delicious garlic knots as an app on the house. My dad and I were stuffed and all for $12. Really good spot.
(5)Raymond S.
Love this place. Pizza reminds me of NYC Had it tonight with fried eggplant. Doesn't get any better. BTW. waitstaff ROCKS
(5)Cathy M.
Finally!! A New York Pizza place that actually knows what a N.Y. Pizza is suppose to be like. It''s been a good kept secret -- until now. We'll be buying all of our pizza from Danny's. So glad we went to K-Mart today and found it. Someone here said the pizza gets tough after it cools!! That's what a N.Y. pizza does!! LOVE IT!!
(5)Gary R.
Great pizza and VG service. Very well run business with attention to detail! Pricing is fair and portions are generous; my favorite spot for pizza!
(4)Damian H.
Ahh, this place is great. Just when you walk in it smells amazing, the aroma of fresh pizza in the air. I usually order a chicken calzone packed with everything I can fill it with. It's absolutely fantastic!
(5)Nicole H.
Have lived in Florida going on ten years (NY transplants) and this is our favorite pizza place so far. Was not a fan of their chicken piccata the one time I had it, but other than that we've never had a bad meal there. Love the garlic knots! Staff is friendly and professional and well groomed... especially since most of them look under 25. One things that stands out is that the place is never empty, in fact it's usually packed even mid week, which tells me it's a hit with locals. Have tried to find other pizza places closer to our house and always return to Danny's.
(4)Kristen V.
Awesome ny style pizza. Flavorful and amazing light crust. Our staple for family pizza nights.
(5)Tom S.
Danny's is a great place to eat and the service is very good as well! I am the only person I know that can beat them, but sometimes I don't want to cook!

Well, well, well. My most recent visit brought my dark side screaming to the forefront upon realizing my wife has been waiting for 2 salads for more than 30 minutes! (This was takeout, while I waited outside.) Lets just say the guy behind the counter (owner/mgr/boss/tool/whatever) and the customer (very nice gentleman) sitting next to my wife at the counter, quickly understood the situation once they saw the blackness emanating from my frontal lobes. All without but a few words uttered by the 'other' me. Within three minutes of glimpsing the dark side, salads were prepared, packaged and handed to us. Get you act together...doooood....it's just a salad! btw, I counted 7 staffers for a place of all of 700sq ft. No excuse!
(2)Jewels M.
Been here a number of times always great .... tonight not so good. Had a child with us we r concerned with at least something somewhat healthy not at this restaurant Yes I realize it's a pizza joint but no milk only soda for kids... deep fried everything so if we return it would be without kids Pizza gets tough as it cools have it by the slice in the restaurant...not great for take out
(3)Ben L.
Pizza & service was good , but not enought to be a must have. They were generous with the toppings and it tasted like a good homemade pizza. Better than the chain pizzas but I wouldn't say better than some other independant pizza diners in the area.
(3)John A.
Wow, this is the BEST pizza I've found in Bradenton or Anna Maria Island yet. Having been raised on pizza in Little Italy, this is the closest to what I fantasized about or the last 4 years here! The Supreme pizza was wonderful and nicely complimented by steamed mussels with hot tomato sauce. The garlic knots and rice balls made me feel like I was back on Bleeker street except for the Palm trees! The dining room is not large, but comfortable.
(5)Michelle M.
Finally a place I can get a slice! Yummy NY style Pizza. If you are wanting something off menu just ask Danny and he will most likely make it for you. Side of sausage in sauce is really yummy and the meatballs are very good. It is the closest to NY style as you are going to get around here.. The sauce is very good! The Greek salad is delish too and his soups are always home made. Stop by and have a slice!
(4)Jackie P.
Eaten in once and gotten togo a couple times. Service is good but food is just ok. Pepperoni rolls just ok and other pizza places have better pizza. Sandwiches are good. Not great but not bad either. Just ok
(3)Jennifer W.
We stopped in for the first time during a break of unloading our U-haul. After 8 years in Florida from Philadelphia, eureka we found great pizza. I won't admit how many times we have been back since, but it's a lot! Sherry is the server we have had the most often. By day 2 she knew our drinks and names. Everyone at Danny's has made us feel at home. Lunch specials are a bargain and some favorites of ours are the buffalo chicken pizza, the flag pizza, cheese pizza with fresh garlic, calzones, all of the grinders...get them on garlic bread, garlic knots..... Get it? This place is super casual and amazing. Portions are huge!!!

The best, homemade Italian Restaurant in the area and affordable !
(5)Alison D.
Let me first start off by saying their pizza is awesome. But the customer service when there is a problem sucks. I had ordered pasta with clam sauce (fully cleaned, no shells) and midway thru my meal got a nice piece of shell in my mouth and it cut my gum by my tooth and the roof of my mouth. The manager said that they sell it all the time and it doesn't happen. He was very rude and accusatory. Because I just happen to carry around shell pieces with me for just that kind of occasion.

Lunch special, two HUGE slices and a drink for like $8?! Yes please. Pizza here is NY style and very good. Hawaiian to the meats, from pep to cheese, and everything in-between, all their pies are top notch. Best pizza so far in Bradenton. Puts chains to shame and really shines through that they pay attention to the quality of ingredients. Staff is always super friendly and quick with a smile. Garlic knots are a delight! Great place for lunch or dinner, take out or delivery. Nice place, nice people, good food, good prices...what's not to like?
(5)Justin D.
One the best pizzeria's I have had in a long time. They have great crust on the pizza's.
(4)Ed C.
My wife and I started coming here a couple of months ago. Originally it was because we wanted something easy to get to and that had decent NY style pizza. It is and they do. The first visit we sat outside (obviously prior to the sweltering summer!) and ordered some garlic knots, a salad for my wife, and a medium pie. The cute little blond simply forgot the salad until it was almost time for the pie to come out. But, she didn't charge us for the knots or the salad. (We later found out that 4 knots come with a medium or larger pie!) We've been back five or six times since then and have had our son with us a couple of times, too. The place is pretty small - about one table for six, and five or six tables for 4 and a bar that seats six. Generally, when it is just the two of us we simply order a slice and drink. When Allen joins us we order a pie - but always the knots. Sonja LOVES them!! Other reviews have mentioned the service. OK - it isn't Bern's! But, it isn't awful, either. And the place is small - you can always grab someone to get what you need - any server will take care of you, at least that's our experience. And, they are ALWAYS friendly. I know that I'll be there soon - Sonja says she's hungry for slice!

Our new favorite pizza place in Bradenton. Delicious and reasonable. Get a 18" for two and it'll last you a week. Yummy!!!
(5)Walter W.
Tried this place last week, food was good, had the chicken parmigiana which was a nice sized portion with pasta and bread, tried a pizza as well, about as good as anything around here. Overall good food, service was friendly but slow, waitresses have too much to do when the place is busy.
(4)LA A.
Good pizza and pasta. Friendly help.
(4)Paula L.
Danny's has great pizza! The thin crust has just the right consistency and the sauce is not too sweet. I am do glad they moved into our neighborhood. My husband also likes that he can have a beer and watch a game while he is waiting for our order.
(5)Sam I.
Best NY style pizza that you can get in Bradenton. They have a seating area, but we prefer to pick up. They do have delivery.
