Loads of ice cream- check the door for the flavor of the month. Super cheesy atmosphere but good ice cream. Over all good ice cream and neat surface.

dude grabs sugar cone with his bare hands then grabs napkin to wrap cone. DISGUSTING!! Ice cream has freezer burn icicles around inside containers. In other words, there's not enough turnover. Walked out. Gross. Dead plaza too.

I've never actually been to the store, but I've had 3 flavors of the ice cream and met the owner. WOW! The ice cream is phenomenal! It's smooth and creamy, the ingredients are evenly mixed throughout, and I love the Indian flavors like Falooda Kulfi (rosewater, basil seeds, tiny semolina pastas) and Pistachio. The owner is a really nice man who clearly takes a lot of pride in his craft. Can't wait to visit this place and try more flavors! You can find this ice cream at various Indian cultural events in the Tampa Bay area.

All hail small business and the American Dream!!! I discovered this place when we visited Florida and I did a Yelp search for ice cream places. This place only had 2 reviews (1 from 2010, and 1 from 2013), and not even a single picture! Even though the Yelp site's info said they were closed (I think it was a Monday), I called anyway. They were open. I went by to sample the quality before bringing my entire family back. The texture, creaminess, and flavor were pretty good. This place blew Coldstone out of the water. There was much variety. The business owner explained to me how he made the ice cream right there in the shop. He was really friendly. He told me that he'd been there since around 1997. After hearing that, I was stunned that there was so little Yelp involvement. :-/ He said that he didn't have a website. I told him about Yelp Elite events, and he seemed interested. For being around so long, and not having a website, word of mouth must be highly effective. The only flavor I didn't enjoy was Bubble Gum. Usually one of my favorites, this particular mixture was a little chalky and grainy. Aside from that, everything else was quite tasty.

Homemade ice cream with very good service. There is a large selection of unique flavors. Ice cream is very smooth, very creamy & over all delicious. Some of the fruit flavors my kids tried were rather bland compared to other more main stream ice cream places, but they never complained. They ate every last bite. Big Cow Creamery is locally owned, and we experienced very good service from (who I assume was) the owner. Bottom line - this probably won't be the absolute best ice cream you've ever tasted. However, it is still very good and is locally owned with very good service. It's worth a try if you're in the area.

When we were at India Fest in Gainesville last weekend, we were lucky enough to sample some kulfi flavors from Ketan, the owner of Big Cow Creamery. He makes all of this ice creams from scratch, and we are so gracious to have him located in Bradenton, FL. Regular American style ice cream is usually pumped with air to make it fluffy, resulting in more air than ice cream. Kulfi on the other hand, is dense, and takes longer to melt than most frozen desserts. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ku… Big Cow has many different unique flavors like: kesar (saffron) pistachio, mango, rose, lychee, chikoo fruit, falooda kulfi, and malai kulfi. The unique flavors are normally not on display and you will need to ask for them, they are always in stock. Katan also makes the classic flavors that everyone loves and what most of Bradenton expects: chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, rocky road, bubble gum, cookie dough, etc. Even some that are sugar free. But, I come here for the exotic tastes of saffron and cardamom.

Good stuff!! I had the turtle cashew and loved it. I plan to go back and try some of the more exotic flavors. You can tell it's truly homemade with quality ingredients. The shopping center it's in is kind of dead but this place is worth a stop.
