Great sandwitches. My wife and I always get the surfers. The Anna's sauce is excellent. I would recommend to anyone craving a great deli sandwich.

Not your average deli! Very unique, fresh and not overly complex which is a great thing!

So disappointing! Tried their "signature sandwich" and it tastes like nothing but mayonaise. Bland lunch meats, i could definitely get something better from a Publix. Awful.

Great roast beef with Swiss on wheat with Anna's sauce, horseradish, tomatoes, light lettuce, onions, and cucumbers....just awesome...the meat here is the best!

This is their newest location, but We've been coming to Anna's for many many years now, and they've been around forever, it really is a childhood place. They have a few locations, but only in Sarasota. A great sandwich shop. Love their pumpernickel bread which goes with every sandwich in my opinion, and of course Anna's signature sauce for the sandwiches. And those creations are just so good, simple but so tasty. My personal favorite is bologna on pumpernickel (personal preference, but marble and wheat are great too) with Anna's sauce, cucumber and Swiss. Just yumm! Not too much to it, BUT I LOVE IT!! Huge portions!!! A lot of times my husband and I will just split a full one and it's plenty! Love the salads: chicken, egg, potato, all just very good, but my favorite is potato. Staff is very good too, friendly and helpful. I believe it's a must while in Sarasota! You can read other reviews and make opinion based on that, or just go try it for yourself and then maybe write your own

Good local place. Friendly faces and good traditional sandwiches. Bread is fresh and the pickles are delicious. My only complaint is the 1000island dressing on the Reuben. They use too much and it's too sweet. Get it on the side. I will be back.

The Surfer sandwich on pumpernickel with extra sauce: Best. Sandwich. EVER! I absolutely have to get one each time I'm back in SRQ. Freaking wonderful!

Was in the mood for a sandwich. Anna's Deli hit the spot. Was hoping for a little more fat on the pastrami and a thicker cut. Who has pumpernickle bread these days. GREAT homemade potato salad.

I used to go to Annas downtown Sarasota and they were the BEST. I have I just picked up a sandwich from the one on UP and well, it was just not good. The break was on the hard side, or stale. I experienced this from the SK location as well, The turkey slimy and overall just not a nasty sandwich. But on the person taking my order was super nice and friendly and the staff making the sandwich had gloves, unlike Jimmy Johns on UP. I think I'll just have to make time to go to Publix and get fresh cut "cold cuts". This wasn't worth the $5.

I was expecting more since they offered a lot to choose from. I had the pastrami on pumpernickel bread. It was very greasy but the bread was good. I did not like the way they cut the sandwich in quarters because some of breads broke apart. The sides I thought were expensive. Not a repeat for us since Jersey Mike's is much better.
