Took the family here last night on a whim. Haven't had hibachi in awhile and I am glad we went. The food here is always great. We started off with the steamed dumplings and chicken wings. Both were outstanding but the wings were top notch. So crispy and not greasy at all. Of course we all did the hibachi steak which was cooked perfect just how we like it medium.

I have been here a bunch of times. This review is based on the take out I got last week. I got 2 large miso soups seaweed salad and a seared tuna salad with ginger dressing. The miso soup was ok. Usually the flavor is a little stronger. I ordered before they actually opened, maybe that had something to do with it. The seaweed salad was very good. The tuna had a slightly fishy smell to it but it tasted fine and the ginger dressing was good. The price is a little high for what you get when it comes to take out, but more worth it when you get the hibachi experience. Which is why I gave it 3 stars, I consider that average based on the quality and taste of the food compared to the price. Everything was ready and waiting for us when we arrived. The bags were packed up nicely with the cutlery and chopsticks inside. The cashier was friendly, and the restaurant was clean. I would recommend dining in rather than getting takeout.

We get sushi and hibachi from this location at least a couple times a month. The sushi is the best in the boynton area, always very fresh and large portions. The hibachi is really good if you get it when you're there but we've found that it's not the same when you get it to go. Maybe it's from sitting, I don't know. I won't take off a star for it though because it's still some of the best in the area. The wait staff is super attentive and I've never had to ask for a refill. As soon as my drink gets near the bottom, they are there with a new drink. Overall I give this place 5 stars. I've never had anything but a top notch experience, and I've never been served anything I didn't like!

Went one time for a special occasion like my anniversary. It's just like Benihana or any other good hibachi place and the taste is just how it should be. I remember being a little disappointed in the rice - maybe they upcharged for fried rice or didn't have it, but this place is definitely one of the better ones in the area to go to.

This is definitely the best location. They season the food really well and we really enjoy it especially the last time we were there. If my next experience is as good as my last I might even gives first five star review. The chef was very friendly and did a great job seasoning everything.

I went there a few times, it's nothing great you are greeted upon entrance and asked if you want Hibachi or Sushi. The cook comes to the table and does some tricks with the utensils blah blah blah. The food is very salty I believe it's because of the amount of soy sauce they put in the rice. But it's ok. I was really pissed that they charged me and extra $2.50 per person for just having fried rice. Those menu prices you see aren't truthful. So for my wife and I, we had to pay and extra $5 on top of our bill plus tip. (What bullshit)!. Each. Table sits 10 people, so imagine if everyone wants fried rice?... that's $25 extra they make on the same freaking bowl of rice. Also, if your table is unfortunate enough to have all the seats filled, you may need to stop and get a big Mac afterwards. This is because they have one serving of everything and it's split with everyone at the table. The less people at your table the more food you get. The staff is pretty ok, they fill your glasses quite regularly. The miso soup to me taste like when I have to gargle salt water. Idk that might be just me. Their salads provide no source of vitamins, it's all white lettuce covered in their dressing. Whatever brand of lettuce they are using its the most cheapest shit ever. Bottom line; it's an ok place to go.... once every two months. What they make I can make at home for half the cost and feed my entire family. Fried rice, mixed vegetables and steak or shrimp? C'mon.. lol Its very expensive for what it is. And hope that you don't end up sitting at a full table.

This place isn't good !! The sushi rolls are tiny and sashimi isn't tasty or fresh . The hibachi is greasy and no flavor. The Chinese guy is rude. Place is below average . And why are the sushi cups for take out so tiny ??? Man this place is stingy . Sawa is much better . Too bad sawa closes on Mondays .

We came for a birthday dinner for my son. The menu is deep and varied, and even includes some nice hibachi fish and even ostrich! On that score we tried the O, as we'd had some at Disney's African-themed restaurant that was out of this world. This ostrich was not as fresh and a cheaper cut. It's a nice low cholesterol red meat otherwise. Keeping better stock would be worth the price. It was prepared as well as tough meat can be prepared, but if it was the first time I'd tried it, I would think that all of the meat must be that tough and never repeat the experience (it isn't.) That cost it a star. The rest was really top flight stuff. The hibachi chef was fun, and the rest of the food was fresh and beautifully prepared.

What a great experience. I had never had hibachi before. I'm an extremely picky eater but I'm trying to broaden my horizons. My boyfriend and I went with his cousin and girlfriend who were regulars. We got our Miso Soup and salad with ginger dressing first. The Miso soup was delicious. I didn't think I would like the ginger dressing but surprisingly I did. Then....the show began. The chef came over and asked everyone if they had been there before. If you want a better show, tell them you're a first timer. He definitely messed with me more because I said I had never done hibachi before. He was hilarious, which I wasn't really expecting. It was a little unfortunate that the other people at the table with us were Debbie Downers who couldn't even crack a smile. Why go to hibachi if you don't enjoy it?? Anyway, The fried rice was better than any fried rice I've had before. The chicken and what they call the "yummy" sauce was absolute heaven. The service was excellent. As soon as any of our glasses were half full, someone was there right away to refill them. I don't think I've ever experienced that at a restaurant before. I think this place might turn me into a hibachi junkie.

Meh is the word that comes to mind after struggling through a meal at this mediocre "Japanese" restaurant. I put Japanese in quotes because the entire experience felt like a mockery of Japanese food and culture. After being barked at by a gruff Chinese man at the entrance (HIBACHI or NO HIBACHI????) we were told to go to TABLE 32 (non Hibachi). Perhaps it was the time of day but the restaurant was packed with families with squirming kids who almost landed on my mom's lap if they weren't glued to their iPhones. It was super noisy in there- and part of the din was coming from the "show" of Hibachi land behind us with a totally unnecessary clanging of knives by the "chefs" - obviously done for effect. Our waitress, like the dressing on the lame "salad" (iceberg alone does not make a salad, people) was overly sweet to the point where I wanted to brush my teeth every time she stopped by the table. It felt forced and fake, not sincere. The rest of the meal was truly forgettable- spring rolls with pork that looked worse than any cheap carry out in Harlem, bland miso soup that tasted like it came from miso powder, not paste, green tea that was probably picked in 1986 and entrees that had absolutely nothing special written all over them. We had Hibachi lobster, shrimp tempura and teriyaki salmon. The lobster itself was just ok and it came with mushy vegetables and a "shrimp appetizer" which was literally 2 pieces of grilled shrimp with no special seasoning or presentation as it was served on the same plate as the lobster. The salmon was completely bland except for the so obvious food service grade "teriyaki sauce" which most likely was made in a factory in Toledo and drizzled over the top of a relatively thin and small piece of previously frozen uber pink salmon. Add sugar (HFCS?) and soy sauce and cornstarch and mix. Borderline Yuk! It's hard to ruin tempura but this place found a way to drive the car in the direction of a car crash by serving it after the other 2 meals had been sent out and accompanying with yet another uninspired dipping sauce. It invoked images of a Food Service delivery truck pulling up to the back door of the restaurant and delivering this sauce by the gallon. Edible but meh. Speaking of sauces, we had to practically beg for silverware (spoons) to use with the sauces. I could hear the gruff owners voice in my head saying - "DONT GIVE OUT SILVERWARE - it costs 3 cents to wash!" We left feeling ripped off by the relatively high prices for bad diner quality food served in a schoolhouse cafeteria setting. It feels like the kind of place you might go for a workmates' birthday party. Get drunk and watch the hibachi "show" at your table. If you eat out once a year, you probably wouldn't notice the food service sauces, frozen seafood and watered down soups and tea. You might be dazzled enough by the show to think you're actually in a Japanese restaurant. We weren't.

I always have a good time when I go to Saitos. The food is decent ( a little overly salted for me though) and reasonably priced. Staff is fairly friendly and it is clean. I dont do hibachi much, but I have been here a few times; however, I've never been super impressed overall.

I've been to this location several times and it's always good. It's clean, the have very fresh sushi but on this night we were here for the Japanese steakhouse experience. Our party of four was seated promptly and drinks were back at the table in a couple of minutes. The food was delicious. Steak, shrimp, chicken from the grill were right on point. The tempura shrimp appetizer is five stars...soooo good. the miso soup was hot and flavorful. The weak link is the salad but I guess I didn't come here for salad. Our hibachi chef was uninspiring. The typical spatula twisting, onion volcano, egg twirling show. He seemed to be going through the motions and what really makes this experience is when you have someone who can entertain you as well. (like G Unit at Kimura before his departure). That guy could do standup! We had fun, left full...I'll be back.

Well I have to say the food is excellent. They prepare the food unfortunately way to fast. The typically hibachi show was horrible lasted less then 60 sec. Hell this is the only thing my kids like at these type of places. Over all food was GREAT! Only reason for 4 stars is the lack of entertainment that we were looking for.

These Benihana knockoffs are a dime a dozen and while some of them can pull it off, this was not one that could. Bland and greasy.

Decided to stop in for a Friday night dinner. Wanted to keep it somewhat quiet and intimate so we skipped the hibachi side of the dinner (I must note that they looked like they were having a great time). I started off with an appetizer and went with the chicken wings. Definitely should have gone much more adventurous... The wings were okay... My soup of choice was miso: who doesn't love scallions and tofu?! My dinner choice was the Chicken Stir Fry as I wanted an entree with lots of veggies. My dinner date had the Shrimp Teriyaki. I loved the Shrimp Teriyaki a lot more than the stir fry but was not at all disappointed. Place was busy but not overcrowded on a Friday night which made for an enjoyable experience!

Hands down my go to sushi place. The price is reasonable and the staff is super friendly. They always take care of you and make sure your dining experience is wonderful.

This place has decent food although the hibachi presentation is uninspired and not a whole lot of fun.

I love the fact that its in walking distance. Everything is tasty. The service is quick and cannot be beat for Hibachi. Its the same but, different. Any fan of Japanese Steakhouse's knows. I like the fact they offer .. Alternatives to the boring Steak, Shrimp and Lobster options.

Saito's is a great Japanese restaurant. Their Sushi is outstanding! (Try the Saito Roll) The restaurant is always clean. They offer habachi, and regular table dining. Take out service is available for pick up and is fast. The Habachi show is good, not great, but the food is fantastic. Saturdays and Fridays are real busy. If you want a habachi table, make a reservation. Note: they open a 4:30 PM. 5 stars!

This place and its food are good, but probably overpriced, so my family goes here on a special occasion. The hibachi gimmick is always fun, and the chefs are always very entertaining.

There are a few different Saito's sprinkled around PBC, and one of the great things is that they are very consistent! My girlfriend always requests to come here for sushi, because she says it tastes so fresh, and I love their udon stir-fried with steak. I have done the hibachi/teppanyaki thing there, but it's only alright. If that is why you are coming to this restaurant, be prepared for a wait on friday or saturday!

My son requested sushi for his birthday lunch. Not being all that experienced with sushi I asked friends for recommendations and decided on Saito. We were not disappointed! We received a warm welcome and polite, attentive service throughout the meal. My son ordered calamari tempura as an appetizer and it was perfect. The oil they fried the calamari in must have been pristine, because the tempura was crispy yet melted in our mouths. We shared Rainbow rolls and the Deluxe JB roll. Both were excellent! My son brought home half his roll, and we hadn't been home an hour before we were both hovering around the take-out box and splitting up the leftovers. Thanks Saito for a great birthday lunch, we will be back!

I love this restaurant and actually drive out of the way to go. The sushi and Hibachi are both really good. Too early though, and there are a lot of families and kids so I would agree that it is a little crowded and loud. Later is less busy and more enjoyable.

Taste like every other hibachi joint. They don't do too many tricks. Just the volcano and the huge fire at the beginning. Everything is cooked with butter and soy sauce. The scallops were delicious. The white dipping sauce was good.

I've only ever come for the Habachi! It's my favorite. They also offer sushi as well. The food is outstanding, the shows are good. I've been a dozen time, so I've had all the chefs and seen all their shows. It's always a good time though =) Check it out! They are great here!

Ordered sushi for takeout on a recent visit to Lake Worth. We ordered 8 different rolls and they were all great! I hope people keep going to the restaurant so it will still be there for our trip next year and we can try the hibachi. Restaurant was clean and everyone was very friendly.

Solid, strong performer. I/We have tried most things on the menu (30+ visits) and have been happy with it all. Some things are better than others, but even the lesser things are still good. Excellent service - there when you need them and not there when you don't. Just the way I like restaurant service.

A gem of a local restaurant. I go hear regularly for the hibachi dining experience. It is not only entertaining and a nice place to go, but they are also really good at preparing the food. Besides the fact that I have been back to this location over 20 times, there dis not really more I can say to enforce this restaurant. The only problem is their management of the table reservations. Just because you have a reservation does not mean you will sit anywhere close to that time.

After living in Boynton and passing by this place a billion times over the course of three years, I showed up for some hibachi cooking. A girlfriend and I waited for about 15 minutes since they like to fill up their tables with customers before starting the grill. It must be a rule that the whole grill has to be used instead of half of it. Either way, we were stuffed with chicken, steak, and fried rice. It was good. Plus, we got a soup and salad before that. The price is reasonable and the staff is consistent with keeping the area clean. It is better than the Wellington one, which is dirty. I prefer Sawa if I had a choice between the two.

We had 7 o'clock reservations and weren't seated until 7:30, it was very cold. The waitress was extremely nice and felt bad about the wait and the cold so she brought us two complimentary teas. The soup was served cold. Up charge of $2.25 if you want fried rice. Minimal show from the chef which is the reason we usually go to hibachi. The food was alright but nothing outstanding (shrimp was definitely the best).

Went early for dinner - went with the hibachi had a great experience with my lady. Service was spot on and the chef killed it. Will be going back real soon. Check it out

Have been here many times overt the years and have had nothing but great experiences. Love the new decor and again had great service except the last two visits. My wife and I always order filet and shrimp and my son sushi and fried rice, The last time we were here they took to the entire tables order some people order sirloin others ordered the filet the chef mixed all the steak together and dished it out mixed didn't care who ordered the filet or the sirloin we all got the mix! Tonight we returned because the Manager said he would take care of us because of the previous incident so we ordered as usual filet and shrimp! Luckily the entire ordered filet so there was no issue this time with the steak however my son always has an order of sushi and a side of fried rice well he didn't get his fried rice and we got no attention from the manager regarding the first issue and no attention to the fact they screwed up the order again! We used to love this place but think we will not be back

Went for dinner. We sat at the Hibachi table. Really I don't know what to say,, ok it is what it is. After 10 years of living here I guess I should just give into the fact that south Florida where I live is a food Cultural dead zone! I mean come on people are we all tanning our taste buds all day long? Does melanoma kill taste buds too? Well back to tonight's experience. Premade salad in a plastic bowl, white Tasteless Lettuce in the Middle, water on the bottom, And generic ginger salad dressing on top. Miso Soup powdered warm in a plastic bowl. I had the Spicy tuna app with Kimchi sauce on a bed of cucumbers, not bad, not great. Moved on to Teriyaki combo, it was grilled chicken grilled steak and grilled lobster. The chicken and stake was cooked ok but then they just dipped it in some Teriyaki sauce with no cook on it and the lobster was way overcooked and hiding in a bed of shoots and I think Cabbage, without any Teriyaki. My wife and son had teriyaki steak from the hibachi and said it was okay. Also ordered California rolls and they were okay. To sum it up I was very disappointed in my poorly cooked meal and my wife and son said there's was okay. The hibachi chef show was same old same old eggroll on spatula onion volcano on the grill Slap tap with this spatula, no shrimp in hat no shrimp and pocket I definitely don't think it was worth the money.

This place is one of the best when it comes to Sushi. The service is top notch just like their food. I've been coming here for a couple of years and have never had a bad meal or bad service. You won't be disappointed with this location. Nothing but good food, great atmosphere and pleasant service.
