Ok quick review on this one since I have been here lot. Cleanliness- F. Staff - D hit or miss with them. Food C the food is pretty ok, kinda greasy with an after taste. Atmosphere - B selection -B good selection of foods, even for lunch. Price per quantity and quality -D. Overall this place is an ok place, why so much of a cost? Plus they don't really practice proper holding techniques when it comes to food. You can get a large meal but really isn't worth the price, and 1/4 I go there someone always gets sick....

Remember the christmas movie where all the kid wants is a BB-gun. In the madcap ending, the neighbors' dogs wind up eating the family's Christmas dinner and they're forced to go to a chinese restaurant. That's what kept re-playing in my mind as i wondered how the hell we ended up eating here on Xmas day. the stars must've been out of alignment or some phase of the moon made my grandmother (the matriarch of our festivities) go off her rocker and take the fam here. she came out a champion in the sheer amount of rounds that she returned for another plate. seriously, she is a pro. this is one of those chinese buffets that have it all: mongolian BBQ, sushi, the ever-popular crab legs, scoop-it-yourself ice cream, and the all the expected basics - soups, noodles, rice, egg rolls. they have alot, yet they dont do anything especially well - and this is coming from a fam that has hit many a buffet. i had the mongolian bbq, veggie choice was awesome but the noodles and sauce made it fall a little flat. don't bother with the sushi, but i will commend them for having several veggie rolls. the egg towers were a favorite of my aunt and my grandma hit up the high dollar items aka crab/shrimp without a complaint. and for being a chinese place i gotta say their fried plantains were dang good. Might be a good place if you're in the mood to stuff yourself silly with mediocre grub. at least no one had to clean up after christmas dinner :)

I have been here several times when visiting my mom, seems to be progressively going downhill even though it is quite busy. They do have decent ribs. Probably our last time though. At last visit a few weeks ago, as I was putting clams on my plate, I noted an unusual one and pulled it out onto the counter - I asked the elderly gentleman next to me to confirm what I was seeing. An open cooked clam with a roach (obviously cooked too) occupying the open shell half. Grossed out, I quietly hurried to the front desk and without apologizing the lady (assume the owner) came there, ignored me, and called out to the kitchen - someone trotted out and removed the whole tray, and she said sorry. As we had desert (I figured ice cream should be ok), a waitress stoipped by and said my meal was free (she obviously didn't mean free of insects). As we went up to pay, I waited to see if the owner would even just apologize. After signing the credit card receipt, I said you know that was pretty disgusting with the clams. Without apology, she said I gave you a free meal (should have comped the two of us). I'm sorry now I didn't take a picture or make a loud comment so more people could have seen it and be warned. Good thing we don't see behind the kitchen doors. Who knows what else isn't seen in the mixed dishes.

The service here was excellent. Our water glasses were filled as needed and our dirty plates cleared promptly. The food for me was hit or miss. The Shrimp with Lobster Sauce, Cocunut Shrimp, and Beef Spareribs were excellent, while the General Tso's, Boneless Spareribs, Sushi, and Shao Mai, were fair. Overall, a decent experience and I would go again, but I'm in no rush to do so.

For the price it was great, good variety of food, not a lot of dessert but had ice cream. All the chicken really does tasted the same but the spare ribs were good and the fried dumplings and egg rolls weren't bad. Very appropriate for price.

Once in a while, I go to this restaurant despite knowing better. It was good years ago but that's all over. Last visit was during lunch on a weekday. Despite a good number of diners, they were low on almost everything and almost nothing was being replenished. Worst of all, the one guy working the sushi area conveniently disappeared between noon and 12:30pm leaving nothing decent to eat. I felt ripped off by the whole experience. The bathrooms are never clean and there was a fly buzzing around me as I ate. Add to that, way too much salt being used in their food, in my opinion. I felt like I was trying for a day to flush all that salt out of my system. IMHO, the only reason this place remains busy is because it appeals to older people with diminished taste perception who find anything warm and colorful to be appealing. I would give this "restaurant" zero stars, if possible. I feel sorry for the busy tall, thin and pretty waitress in her black "ninja pajamas" outfit for having to work there. She should be someplace much nicer, unless she is stuck there because she is family. I hope I remember never to return. BTW, it seems that MANY reviews of this place have disappeared! I never saw that happen on Yelp before.

Really nice clean buffet. They are always busy so don't even bother with a website. Prices are modest and you get high quality food. Clean place. I have eaten here twice while visiting Delray. They make grilled chicken skewers that are better than what I see on other buffets. Very wide range of food with something to keep everyone happy. Good turnover of food. Mostly older people here eating some good Chinese food. PLUS+ the salmon is not overcooked. I ate lots of that last time. Good shrimp on buffet too. I have only been to lunch

I have been to this restaurant many times before, but this most recent trip on Father's Day was absolutely abysmal. The first problem was when we walked in, it was very noticeable that there was no air conditioning on, making the dining experience hard to tolerate. We were wiping our brows constantly and noticed that other diners were doing the same. We had asked the staff repeatedly if they could put the air conditioning lower, but we got dumb founded looks from them, mainly because they pretended not to understand English. The overall decor and dining experience of the restaurant reminded us of one of those pass through restaurants on the interstate that is poorly maintained and not given much thought about. The restaurant was filthy, the tables were not clean, the cushioning in the booths was all ripped, not just normal wear and tear. Furthermore, the swarm of flies that my family and I had to swarm off was highly unappetizing. Even though the food was delicious as always (which is why this review is given 2 stars), the overall experience dining at Kingdom Buffet was a real shame. I do hope that the restaurant will try to improve upon it's very obvious flaws.

If you prefer quality to quantity then Kingdom Buffet II is not for you. If you aren't picky then I recommend it. This restaurant has an incredible selection of hot food, better than nearly every buffet I've ever been to before. There's a great selection of seafood, meats and vegetables. If I had to live on their black pepper beef and shrimp in lobster sauce for the rest of my life I'd be a happy man. I'd probably only live another few years but man alive they'd be fantastic ones! They have a small area for sushi but it's really token stuff; nothing of fantastic quality. If you're craving sushi this might not be the place for you. It's rare they run out of food and it's not refilled within a reasonable amount of time. Though I once did see an old woman standing by the buffet waiting for a pan to be replenished and she wasn't shy about it. I found that odd. The price is $11 or $12 I think which is reasonable, in my opinion, for the quality you receive. Again, it's not top of the line quality here but you're also not paying a great deal for it. I'm not a fan of the servers using pitchers for sodas. I understand why they do it but sometimes the soda is flat when they give it to you because it's been sitting in the pitcher for quite a while. But again, for the amount you're paying you can't expect the greatest quality. The man who greets and seats people seems quite disorganized and likes to exaggerate the amount of time you'll wait for a table if the place is full. It's a very large restaurant which is great because it means less waiting time since there are so many tables and booths. Unfortunately the man has more than once quoted me a wait time of two minutes and I end up waiting about eight. I really don't mind waiting, nor do I care how long it's going to be as I'm patient - but don't quote me far less than it's going to be just so I don't leave and take my business elsewhere. I'd prefer the truth. So whatever time he tells you, add on several minutes to it if the restaurant is full. Given the price, selection, quality of food and size of the restaurant I give this place four stars though I understand if picky people rate it three or less. Like I said, if quality is all you care about you'll want to take a pass on this place. If you're interested in not spending too much and receiving a vast selection, this place is fantastic. I love Chinese food but I couldn't eat at this place every day, nor even every week. Once a month would be great. If you'd like to take me there once a month I'd be more than happy to let you. Cheers.

This place is disgusting so don't waste your gas on the commute. In case you do, expect flies flying around your food and face, expect dirty plates (plural because it's not uncommon EVERY TIME you grab one), dirty utensils and cups. I imagine the only reason this place still has business is because it is very cheap, otherwise, spend your money elsewhere.

I had the luncheon buffet 3 out of 5 days in the area. Absolutely best bang for the buck on the planet! The better educated diner you are the more you will enjoy it. Watch was is being being added fresh to the buffet line , that's what you get on that pass. You enjoy that then watch what comes out next. The sushi us constantly being made so look for what platter is still fully intact you know it was just made. The mongolian station prepares what you picked. If it's not great you didn't pick a good combination. They have all the peel and eat shrimp you can eat no limit!

This is a Chinese buffet near my grandparents' house. We had dinner here during a recent visit. It's a Chinese buffet. I have an unusual fondness for Chinese buffets. The egg drop soup was appropriately yellow. They had a variety of tasty fried things along with those particular seafood options you know and love at these establishments. One part of the buffet had some acceptable sushi rolls. They have a Mongolian grill area. You know what to expect. If you're in the mood for that buffet Chinese, you'll do just fine here.

I don't post on yelp unless things were very great, or very horrible. This unfortunately is very horrible. I should have realized it wouldn't be good from the sewage smell in front of the building. The ambience: Lots of noisy folk talking on their smartphones. That was actually a nice distraction over the screaming babies. The food: Cold and tasteless.

Lukewarm, overcooked, and mostly tasteless. Hardly recognizable Chinese food. Frozen Chinese dinners from your local supermarket are more satisfying. I won't be back anytime soon.

I don't know enough buffets to compare them, but a knowledgeable friend took me here, and I think this one must be above average. They have some special things like crayfish, custard pastries (Bishop's Hats?), excellent soups, and a very wide choice of tasty foods. I have a hard time believing some of the negative reviews. If you feel offended or want to be funny, you can claim anything, but if some of these were true, the authorities would have stepped in long ago.

Very bad. Ribs & fried shrimp are ok. I thought everything can taste like chicken but their chicken doesn't even taste like chicken. I couldn't eat it. Beef was not edible. Too hard. The pickled ginger was bad. The soy sauce is chemically tasting. The hot tea is terrible and Burned. Your feet will stick to the Bathroom floors.

This is a restaurant of many mysteries. What sub grade of beef they use that is that tough without enough Tenderizer hidden and the many sauces? How they can constitute the filthy stir fry and horrid looking produce in the cold table and the stir fry grill and the vent hood replete with vintage grease stains as a "Mongolian BBQ?" The biggest mystery though? Why self preservation didn't kick in and have me turn and walk out rather than dine with the seniors and lobotomy victims who apparently have given up caring about what food tastes like, or maybe the tough chewing is a good way to break in new dentures. Stale almond cookies? (shudder). Add this trough to my thankfully short list of regretful meals.

I went here the other day with my sister to have dinner. It is located near a seasonal Halloween shop, so it was convenient for another rainy Florida day. We walked through the doors, and the staff took us to our seats immediately. Before we sat down, the server came up to take our drink orders. So far, the customer service of this restaurant was going well. My sister and I headed over to the food. This location has many vegetarian options. However, some of the items are hard to tell if it was vegetarian. I asked the server about a few selections if they contained meat. There was a little language barrier here, so I ended up skipping those items all together. Regardless, there was a decent amount of food to choose. The overall quality of the food was so/so. The customer service here was great. The food quality was okay. I have mixed feelings if I will come back to this location again.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
