Hurricane Grill & Wings Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Most likely the worst service I have ever experienced in a restaurant. The restaurant was approximately half full and the staff was running chaotic. We received only one of the two appetizers we ordered, not plates, no silverware. When we did eventually received four plates we were two silverware settings short! We requested two additional settings and the hostess stated, "I heard you I'm going to get it!" I approached the manager and discussed the incomplete and poor service he reacted by confronting the staff rather than fix the problem. We will never recommend, suggest, or refer this establishment to anyone. Shame on you.

At first this place had a rocky start but the quality of the food and the customer service and even prices has improved. Great place for the fam or to have a drink after work.

Service was GREAT! Food was AWESOME! My friends and I had a tough time trying to figure out where to go for dinner, glad we picked Hurricanes! Had the parmesan fries and the sweet potaties fries for starters, best appetizers ever! Wings are the best in Boynton, recommend you mix and match sauces!

Hurricanes is my go-to when I want that greasy plate of wings! I love having thirty plus choices of sauces- you can even mix them. The drinks are OK and prices reasonable.

Here is an important tip for this place Sit Outside! Great service, good drinks & food outside only. Made the mistake of bringing family who wanted a/c (not Floridians) and so much went wrong I don't even want to discuss. Who happens by the table but my usual server from outside, he got the manager (lets not get into whether he should have this title) once the manager was informed we were regulars his tune changed. So I have returned to Hurricanes to sit outside - everything was right in my world. Please sit outside. It may be why they have such mixed reviews. Oh and try the Fish & Chips

I will not eat at this restaurant again. I will give them credit for their sauces tasting really good; however, that is it. I've tried this restaurant about four times and each time the food has been flavorless. I have to put sauce on the food (food that doesn't come with sauce) in order to give it some taste. The last meal really did it when I wanted a simple chicken sandwich, and I kid you not, Wendy's is SO much better. Never again.

The bartender overcharged my card. Called to tell the manager, who was very unapologetic, said he would refund the money & has yet to do so (2 weeks later) I'm not chasing someone around for $5. They obviously need it more than I do considering they were empty on a Saturday afternoon. Didn't eat anything so my review is strictly based on poor management and careless staff.

First of all, I might leave a better review if me or my coworkers didn't work in the same plaza as this establishment. There are many of us and we order from here frequently because it's convenient. The food isn't terrible but it's not great either, overpriced for the quality and EVERY SINGLE TIME we make a group order, AT LEAST one person's order is deeply incorrect. I've had to call the manager on duty on several occasions. I feel like because we order so often, it should be less likely that we receive incorrect orders but that's never the case. Disappointed that THIS thoughtless chain moved into the empty space it now occupies.

Went to Hurricane Bar & Grill tonight for the first time. The decor inside is really well done. The kind of place you want to sit at tall tables, drink and chat with friends while watching your favorite team. However, I was with my 90 year old grandmother and my cousin. It was a bit loud for our tastes. The food was ok. I had the pulled pork quesadillas. They were good but nothing I would crave. The service was very friendly which made the experience more pleasant. I would return, but probably for drinks and appetizers with friends.,

This place got off to a rough start with me, but I waited to post a review. I ordered boneless wings from them, and they were crazy good wings. I usually don't like boneless, but they run a 75c boneless Thursday promo that is really great. Their boneless wings are real wing meat, and tossed.in their sauces. Very good stuff. I was seriously impressed. I only got take out, but the service was very good, and my food was waiting for me at the specified time. I really enjoyed the food, and I'll be a regular for 75c Wing Mon and 75c Boneless Wing Thurs.

My girlfriend and I were pleasantly surprised with the quality here. Boynton lacks good sports bar options - as a result Bru's Room is packed to the gills. Naw dog. We stopped in for the NFC Divisional Game and sat outside with a nice view of the TV's. Our server, Matt, was genuinely friendly, something noticeably missing from the vast majority of people in South Florida. Our food was highly edible, as we gobbled it up. The price is also right, Bob. We will be bok

We have been a few times now. The wings are great & the beer is always cold. The service is alittle hit and miss tho. We have had great servers there and bad ones. We went there on national wing day. We sat at the patio, had no server for 20 mins. The bartender was to busy taking to freinds to worry the tables. I finely went inside to the the hostess desk & asked if they are gona have a server on the patio? She did get us one after that. He had just walked in the door to start his shift. He did a realy great job. But on a big day like that the manager shouldve had the place fully staffed. They realy dropped the ball there. With that being said we still go back cause the wings are very good

The atmosphere here is great. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Nice island theme going on makes you feel like you're in the Keys. The onion rings are actually really good and the Firecracker Sauce is excellent if you like spicy wings. The wings aren't "Jumbo" though. They're actually small in size and a bit dry so I recommend getting a sauce rather than a dry rub put on them. They had a $5 double Smirnoff special so I ordered that but ended up getting over charged however they did adjust the price when I brought it to their attention. They have a really good selection of bottled and draft beers including locally brewed beer. Service is NOT good. Took a while before the server came to take our order who accidentally knocked my iPhone out of my hand onto the concrete floor (my otter box saved the day) and we were scolded for sitting down at a dirty table by the busser. The pork sliders are good pork was tender and the sauce made then savory. Not really going to persuade or dissuade anyone from going here. I think they have plenty of room for improvement but right now they're just ok.

This location is pretty big and is a cookie cutter to others. I ordered wings and their signature fries. Compared to the Wellington location, the wings in Boynton were small and over cooked. The fries lacked flavor and were greasy from the drizzle they put on top. I was surprised because I've never been disappointed with the chain's good. I'll try it one more time...maybe I went on a bad day.

  • Rachel M.

Came by with my colleagues for lunch and we were not pleased. Service is okay, although not busy, the server was not as attentive as I would expect. The wings--while seemingly creative with the sauce options were not impressive. The parmesan garlic fries were really good. $2.98 for a fountain drink is excessive. It just is for a product that costs the restaurant very little. For 5 wings, regular side fries and a fountain drink, my purchase came to $12. I highly recommend trying out other wing specialty restaurants in the area for more creative options and better tasting food.

The wife and I tried this place today. Would have to say the other bad reviews almost threw me off. Our experience was great had the ribs and wings both were awesome. Good atmosphere nice people not too expensive. Definitely would recommend thumbs up!

  • Kirsten H.

Stick with the chicken wings and get carry out. I was not impressed with the rest of the menu. The ribs lacked that meaty pork flavor and was over cooked. The fish taco was over breaded. The wait staff was so so. They could work on be a little hungry to serve and be friendly.

This place sucked. I came here on a Saturday evening with my sister. On the menu, they had a few veggie-friendly options like their veggie burger. However, my one-star review is not about the food, it's about the service. We arrived to the restaurant somewhere around 6-7 p.m. We sat at the tables near the bar because there was no wait. Our waiter came up and greeted us and took our drink orders. At this point, everything was fine. We ordered the kettle chips appetizer. When he brought it out, he brought us french fries. Okay, maybe it was a harmless mistake. For my dinner, I had the veggie burger. It was a large burger with plenty of flavor. It does fall apart some, so I suggest cutting it up before diving in. Now, we are just about done with our meal. We decide to go all out and order dessert. We got the salted caramel crunch cake. It was good. At this point, I was a little annoyed because most of my time there was without a drink. I finished my water, and it took almost an entire meal to get a refill. When I got my food, I requested pickles and the seasoning rub on the side. I didn't get pickles or the rub. I asked the waiter for water, pickles and the rub. I eventually got it. Here is the worst part though. My sister and I finished our food. We sat there for about 20-minutes waiting for the waiter to come back. We were looking around and he was just gone. The hostess went to get the waiter, and he was in the kitchen area apparently. He tells us the hostess got him and said your table was waiting for you. He was like what table? He went on to say that he forgot that he had a table. He just kept going on about how he forgot about us and it was funny. It wasn't funny. There was no reason that having a simple meal needed to take an hour and a half when I had zero wait time. Food was okay. Service SUCKS.

I really WANT to like this place! I've been back around 5 times and finally gave up on it. The dining room is very cold and empty with cafeteria type lighting. The food sounds good on the menu, but it's always bland and seems very rushed. Even their wings are mostly chewy and lackluster. We went on a Tuesday night because Bar Louie next door was packed. We were one of maybe three tables in the restaurant and somehow they forgot about us. After we ate, we sat there for at least 30 minutes while other servers passed by. We heard laughing and yelling from the kitchen. Finally, we just got up and went to the hostess to pay for our food.

Horrendous experience. Just got home and disappointed. We paid money to suffer. For starters there was no AC. The server didn't acknowledge nor did a manager come to apologize. We sat with sweat rolling down our backs as other guests fanned themselves with menus. When food arrived half of my food was missing and our drinks were empty. None of this was addressed until our server came back to check on us. When inquiring about the AC and letting our server how warm and uncomfortable it was her reply was "if you think your hot look at the poor hostess"!? What? We are paying to be there the hostess is being paid to be there. We needed to get out of there as we were dying of heat. I ran to the restroom. There was no TP to be found in the unkept quarters. A total sour experience. We won't be back. No apology or discount on food for no AC. Poor professionalism on the managers tonight. That should have been addressed to each and every guest. Food was average. Service not great. Restroom needed attention. No AC? No apology ? Won't be back

Great place. Not a "touristy" place at all. I felt like I was at the beach. Cheap beer prices for great craft beer. Very friendly wait staff. Food is very good value. I've been to just about every restaurant in Boynton and this is my #1 for now.

The music selection went from Disturbed to Limp Biscuit to Nickleback. It did not get better from there. I would not suggest this restaurant to anyone. The food was fine, but not worth it.

A much better experience at this location than Pines one. I had mako sliders and was surprised when fish came out deep fried. Service was about average and so was the food. Next time I may try their wings

This was my first time at Hurricane Wings. We came here on a Wednesday not knowing that Wednesday was all you can eat wings. Not only was it extremely BUSY, but fun, our table had the most wonderful server, Gary, who was super attentive, super fun, and very very funny. Our drinks became stronger through the night and we had a wonderful time! Highly recommend this place. With as busy as they were, with 3 adults and 2 children, they still kept up with the high end customer service. The wings were delicious, not to mention the garlic parmesan cheese fries. We had the fire and ice flavor and maple pepper wings. Very yummy. Not to mention the desert... the sea salt carmel cheese cake!!! Thank you Thank you Thank you! A+ Hurricane Wings of Boynton Beach...A+. We will be back!

We had been to the Lake Worth location before and our experience there was very mediocre and when we saw that this Boynton location was opening up, we were kind of leery on trying HG&W again. Tonight, on a Saturday evening after 7pm, we decided to give them a second chance seeing as how they're at a different location and yes, granted, they're still new. We came in around 7pm and were told that it'd be a 25-30 minute wait which was fine as it was a very nice breezy evening to wait on a bench outside. The greeters are very nice ladies and one guided us to our table. The interiors are very spacious, much more spacious than the Lake Worth location. It was almost as if you could fit in some more extra tables in there, but it was actually nice not feeling crammed and placed so close to another party's table. Our server was a nice and prompt gentleman who had our orders correct and on time. My husband had their Applewood Smoked Bacon & Cheese burger and it was perfectly cooked well-done as many places can't get it right on the first attempt without charring it! He said he would order this again. I had one of the Fiesta flavors: the Shrimp BLT Quesadilla with their Dynamite Sauce (my request). It was surprisingly delicious. However, now that I am home, my stomach has begun to rumble. I think it may have been the somewhat excessive breading on the shrimp or the peppered mayo. But I think I will be alright. It won't stop me from trying HG&W again for something else. I am just glad that East Boynton Beach finally has another awesome restaurant to choose from and it is almost a great substitution for Buffalo Wild Wings... only that they have a very excessive list of wing sauces to try! lol

First time here. The waitress sat us down at 6:45 and when we asked about drink specials she told us they ended at 7:00, at that time it was 7:00. Additionally we requested a side order of sweet potato fries and received maybe 10 fries, looked like a kids side - paid $2.99 extra for side. The wings were not even that great, rather go to Duffys down the street. Needs better service

A cool nichey restaurant. This place is all about the wings and beer -- but offer so much more. Plenty of seating (indoor and outdoor) and cool decour. This is your typical chain restaurant serving up wings. Pricing and quality of food is exactly what you'd expect.

  • Anthony V.

Had a late lunch here today and they had $2 domestic beers on tap for happy hour. The wing sauce selection is large but the best is Hot Parmesan Garlic! Jumbo wings aren't jumbo though, just regular old wings.

I do not know how I did not learn my lesson with this place. About a week and a half ago I came here on a lunch break with a co-worker. It was kind of busy so we asked the server if the food would get to us on time. We were in uniforms and mentioned this is a lunch break. She told us it would be fine. Time went by and the food never came. We saw a guy who we think was a manager or some kind of supervisor. We told him what was going on. He told us not to worry and that the food would be packed to go and taken off the bill because of the inconvenience. More time went by. We now had under 10 minutes to get back to work. We ended up putting money on the table for the drinks and leaving. We had no lunch that day. I am really not a fan of this place as the service has never been stellar and that one day really took the cake.

I was jumping for joy when I heard a Hurricane Wings opened in Boynton. When I lived in Plantation I went to the HW there almost once a week until it sadly closed. I always went with a huge group and everyone I brought there loved it. I even ordered their huge TO GO 100 piece wings multiple times to bring to BBQ's and party's and there was never a wing left. Sadly this location did not measure up. I begged my husband and a friend to try it the other night and I was so embarrassed for making the recommendation later. Pros: Huge location so there is plenty of seating and no wait. They carry locally brewed beer. Service was fast Restaurant was clean Besides those 4 pros I will not be going back to Hurricane Wings in Boynton. 3 of us started with 2 appetizers. The fried pickles which were tasty and the parmesan fries. The fries were ok but the size was tiny tiny for $6.00 I think we each had 6 fries. For that price they should be served in a bucket/ basket. They pretty much fit in a tiny cone. For dinner we ordered the 20 piece wings so we could try 4 flavors. In my opinion what stands them apart form other wing places is the fact that they offer so many great flavors. We chose the Raspberry Ice, Hot Hurricane Sauce, Fire and Ice and the Gold Rush. I have pretty much tried all the flavors including the #5 so nothing should have been a surprise to me. Meh...... They all seem to have the same spices. Nothing stood out and they should have been marked what flavor they were. When we asked our server why they were not marked he said they do not do that there. Then I asked him to tell us what the 4 were and he could not make out the difference or knew what they were. Neither could we as they all tasted the same. My husband order the chicken tender dinner with 2 sides. As he tried the first one he secretly grabbed a napkin and spit it out. Then he said it was the worst chicken nugget he ever had. We sent it back and he went with the Gold Rush 10 piece wing order instead. When his came out it looked nothing like the other order. You can see from the pictures. He tried it and it was ok just nothing like ours. So inconsistent. The restaurant was pretty empty and a manager never came over to check on us or apologize for any of our issues. Our server told us he tried one of the chicken nuggets in the back and had to split his out as well it was "That Bad" I'm giving 2 stars and not 1 only because they young guy waiting on us was funny and very apologetic for the mess. The guys were still hungry since most of the meal was either bad/wrong or tiny so we got a piece of the caramel pie. I'm not sure of the name. It was ok for your typical frozen delivery dessert. After leaving we all agreed it was bad food and we would not return. At over $75.00 for 1 star food save your money or go somewhere else.

This is a wing place, right? Wing sauce was good however wings were soggy and kind of slimy, I asked them to cook them well done.....they did.....however they came back exactly the same, soggy and not cooked well in the middle. At least the manager came to talk to me and didn't charge me for the 5 jumbo wings I ordered. Ranch and blue cheese dressings tasted from a jar, yuck

What a disgusting excuse for a wing place. I decided to try it with my fiancé about a month ago ordering the wing sampler platter . After getting it and bringing it home we realized they had the sauces completely wrong and everything was cold. So we called and complained And the manager on staff that night said he would give us 50% off our next order and he took our phone number. So we decided once again to give hurricane another chance tonight. We called in to place our order , we told the girl on the phone we had a 50% credit on our account. She put us on hold for 20 minutes and a manager finally came on the phone. After explaining to her our previous situation, she chuckled and said "well what do you want me to do" we hung up and ordered from bar Louie. We will never go back to hurricane, terrible food and even worse staff.

Came here with my mother while she was on vacation. The hotel she stayed in was right across the street, the only time the location of this place would be convenient. Moving right along to the food - what they put in the boxes was decent...what we ordered was not necessarily the same as what they put in those boxes. Once again right along to perhaps my most important point - service and accuracy. On our first visit, small stuff like no ketchup, napkins, or utensils were in the bag. Maybe that one was my fault for not asking, I'll let that one go. My mother said the burger was flavorless - my wings were standard. Second "benefit of the doubt" visit, the food was pretty good...but I ordered a sandwich, and requested French fries on the side, and no tomato on the sandwich. I was given what I assume to be the insides of a sandwich, had they actually given me some bread. My mother said the fish was good, but they forgot the Cole slaw. I must admit that in the haste of leaving promptly to eat, we did not check the food until back across the street at the hotel. Regardless, not pleased. To comment briefly on the atmosphere of the place - looks and feels to me like McDonalds changed their menu, upped prices, and attempted to have a nicer environment.

Okay, at best. Wings are dipped in coating... not a big fan. Prices okay, but does have outdoor seating which is good for doggies. We eat here because of location but nothing to write home about. Best item? Broccoli with garlic... Michael and I could eat a table full of just that. Other than that? Typical bar food.

I was so in the mood for some good wings ..however I was a little disappointed with these wings ...to much fried coating ...the menu has a lot to chose from so maybe I chose the wrong thing,..the service was great and my Cosmo was excellent .. we will give it another try later ...

Came here with my boyfriend because it's next to our house and we wanted to give it a try. We sat outside because the weather was nice and we could watch the game. We ordered an appetizer of 5 boneless wings, yet we got bone-in wings instead. We had waited for them so long that we ate them anyways. As soon as we finished our first wing, our food came out. Timing was such an issue. We proceeded to finish our meals and waited, waited, waited for our waitress to come back for around 15 mins. We eventually had to get up and ask another waitress to find her and we saw that she had been sitting at the bar! The wings were good but the service is atrocious.

This is one of the best restaurants in Boynton which is more a statement about Boynton restaurants (which are generally awful) but still. Even outside of boynton, this is good for barfood And if you were expecting Morton's, you are in the wrong place. I had the fish tacos and nachos and was very happy. Could've done without the sticky floor, But I realize it's a bar and it's Boynton Beach.

I love this place. I just moved to the SoFlo area and this is by far my favorite place to eat and drink. The drinks are really cheap. The food is decently priced and tastes amazing! I would recommend the firecracker shrimp tacos or the shrimp quesadilla. The staff is super friendly (especially shauna (?) and Jessica), they took the time to talk to me and get to know me. It was such a great experience my first time that I came again the next evening.

Oh my- avoid this place! I rarely give only one star, but this was dreadful! I went there on a date. I asked for three different drinks on the drink menu- the bartender said she was out of something and unable to make each one of them. My date asked for a beer- well her fridge was broken so that was also not an option. So I just ordered a simple lemonade. It turns out to be sour mix from bar with soda water- it was really horrible. My date even tried it and thought it was disgusting. Service was very slow even though there was only one other person at the bar. One of the biggest turnoffs was that the bartender was pretty insistent that she remembered us from last week- well it was my first time there... so got to have an awkward situation with my date who was saying he had never been there before... Was she insisting he took someone else there? Awkward...lol I would say the food was below average - across the street is chilis which is better and similar enough

Worst meal we have had in a very long time!!! Service was horrible. Food was gross. Do not go here. If you work hard for your money don't waste a dime on this meal. Management watches tv and does not do anything! Server was pointless. Worst restaurant ever!

Worst service ever- and we haven't been there in months bc of the service. Tonight it was just by default bc of the fight everywhere else was at capacity so we gave it another shot. NOPE- nope we will never come back. Server was disgustingly absent minded and a manager never even came by the table. Ever- we never even saw her. The only reason I know she was there was bc we called in advance to see if the dinning room as open and she answered the phone. My husband and I both worked here at one point but there was no direction and the reputation for service and food quality is so bad people have stopped coming in because of it, so we couldn't make money and left. At one point a manager refused to go to my tables bc so many tables were upset she said it was my responsibility to make them happy. 45 minutes on an appetizer and a manager wont go to the table? We work across the street and none of our co workers will come even despite drink prices and in the biz because of rude and absent staff. Jessica is the only bartender we have ever had a positive experience with, but I wouldn't even know if she still works there. Someone really needs to do something. We had two small children that were hungry and we had just got off from work and our server brought adult glasses for a 3 and 8 year old without asking. Left to get silverware and stopped to talk to off the clock co workers just sitting around, and we had to go to the front door to get our check. All we ordered was 20 wings as an appetizer but we were there for over an hour listening to a guy in the kitchen yell for runners that we never got to order anything else bc of how long it took, and the kids were well well past bedtime. I had told here in the beginning we were only there for a quick bite. She looked right at us when we sat down and still took another 10 minutes to greet us, and 10 more for drinks. I mean there was only one other table inside. Granted she was going outside, but where was the manager? If she was in the weeds or food needed to get out of the window? Oh- and the server told us you never battered your wings- seems odd for a wing place- but never the less I am only writing this after several failed outings because this business is going to fail without an intervention. I mean it is embarrassing. And the money we spent was a complete waste. I honestly feel taken advantage of because we were very unhappy but no one there would have known bc no one there bothered to check. PS maybe dish isn't a good option in FL bc the TV's were all down due to rain.

I generally give a restaurant at least 6 months to get themselves together, but we decided to give this place a shot. We were pleasantly surprised with the outcome. We sat at the outside bar. Our bartender Lindsay was spot on! She was so informative about everything going on there! She definitely knew her stuff. We were only going for a few drinks but ended up there for quite some time. The happy hour is killer! We weren't even going to eat but she talked us into trying a few things. Her recommendations were the garlic parmesan fries & the shrimp quesadilla. WOW!! Our visit was finally coming to an end & decided to get more food to go. Wondering about their TONS of sauces she let us sample some to get an idea. So cool. We ended up with the firecracker shrimp & Wings. Again...AWESOME! Needless to say, we will DEFINITELY be back! We found our new spot & our new bartender! Job well done Lindsay. You have new regulars!
