Just waited two hours for food to be told it was dropped. So now I'm sitting here with no dinner. So I can't write a review based on food because I never received it. I understand things happen. The delivery guy was very sorry. But after waiting two hours for delivery to be told food was dropped on my stairwell really pisses me off.

Overall, not bad for the price. It's very cheap. Crab rangoon, pork lomein, and an egg roll only put me out 12 bucks. The guy who took my order was great. He spoke clear English, so that made the ordering process easy. He was also very efficient. He read my order and my address back to me, and got it right the first time. He even went the extra mile to get specific instructions for once the driver was in my neighborhood. Delivery was super fast, too. My favorite Chinese restaurant takes an hour or more to get to my house (and no, it isn't far away). Golden Star II had my dinner to me in about 30 minutes. The lomein was decent. It had good flavor and plenty of pork. I couldn't stop eating it and ended up feeling sick to my stomach. MSG maybe? I don't normally gorge myself to the point of belly ache. I tasted the egg roll and tossed it. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good either. Same for the crab rangoon. Nothing special. I will just stick to what I like. I don't mind the higher prices and slow delivery from my go-to Chinese restaurant. But if you want some decent lomein for really cheap and fast, Golden Star II might be your best bet.

Well I always go to house of pang because I've been down in south Florida for about five years now and it's the best Chinese I've ever had in my life. House of pang was closed for the Fourth of July so I went on yelp to try and find a place with good reviews and found this place. Big mistake... I got the general Tso's chicken with fried rice... It was really cheap but it wasn't good at all. The chicken tasted funny and it was very small pieces of chicken with a weird soggy batter. The rice was gooey and it was more like yellow Mexican rice. Even the sauce they used tasted weird. The reason I rated it two stars is because the egg roll was good and the woman behind the counter was very nice. From now on, if house of pang is EVER closed I just won't get Chinese food. Don't waste your time or money with this place or any others... House of pang is a hidden gem.

We were craving Chinese so we stopped here on the way home. The girls behind the counter were very friendly, prices are reasonable and the food came out super fast.

This place has amazing food, what's with the couple bad reviews? It makes no sense. I love them and have tried every place in the area. THESE people are the BEST and they speak English when they answer the phone :)

This place is the best take out/delivery Chinese in the area. The food is not greasy and the veggies are never over-cooked. My husband and I are veg and they are incredibly accommodating: they will alter their dishes to make them vegan (no chicken broth, no egg, swap tofu instead of meat). They are super friendly and always remember us. They even threw in 2 spring rolls for free with our last order to show their customer appreciation. I am so grateful to have a yummy, veg-friendly place that delivers for when I am too tired to cook :)

Because I love Asian food more than any other type of cuisine on the planet, and because I'm always on the lookout for Chinese that is comparable to what I used to eat in NY, I am always open to trying new Chinese places. Golden Star is mainly a takeout place. There are a couple of tables but I rarely see anyone actually sitting down and eating a meal there. Service is efficient and very friendly. As for the food, here's my take on what I've tried - keeping in mind that what I've ordered, for the most part, is Americanized Chinese fare. Won ton soup - chockfull of plump wontons, nicely seasoned broth, a little skimpy on the roast pork. Boneless ribs (char siu) - very nice portion for the price, slightly sticky sweet sauce that goes nicely with the pork, more lean meat than fatty pieces, perhaps the ratio is a bit off at times. Egg roll - standard, somewhat greasy, mostly shredded cabbage. I never order this, it is usually included as part of a combo platter. Sesame chicken - yummy, crispy, juicy and saucy. Some of the best around, and a huge portion, served with bright green crisp steamed broccoli, which serves as the perfect sauce mops in this dish, if you will. Chinese eggplant with garlic sauce - tasty, with a sweet sauce, but very, very oily. If you order this, ask them to use less oil when they cook it. Ditto for the broccoli with garlic sauce. Shrimp with lobster sauce - yummy, thick and somewhat salty sauce full of tender, bursty shrimps and pieces of egg. Steamed dumplings - the skins are very thick and doughy, the pork and chive filling is a bit bland, but it's enlivened by the accompanying soy-sherry dipping sauce. Pork fried rice - some of the best around - full of veggies, bean sprouts and chunks of roast pork. Vegetable chow mei fun - the noodles are dry without much flavor. Skip it. Chicken with broccoli - a large portion of tender chicken served in a tasty brown sauce with carrots and broccoli. Buddha's delight - a medley of fresh veggies and large chunks of steamed tofu served in a light white sauce. Very good as a lighter option. B.B.Q. ribs - quite juicy and tasty although some of the ribs have barely any meat on them. Chicken on sticks - slightly dry teriyaki flavored chicken pieces on a skewer. They are not good the next day, as they dry out even more once stored in the fridge, but the seasoning is tasty when eaten immediately. They are very accomodating here and will steam any dish and serve the sauce on the side if you request it. They are closed on Sundays, much to my dismay.

This place is pretty good, the food was very tasty. We ordered pretty late and were surprised how fast our food was ready. The vegetable fried rice was delicious and the vegetables were nice and crispy. Our service was good, clean place and good Chinese for Boynton Beach.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
