I have been a fan of Chilis for years back when I lived in NH. Consistent food, consistent service. never a complaint. I don't know if it's just this particular Chilis or the ones down here in Florida in general but my last 3 experienced have not been good. Mediocre service at best. They do seem apologetic about it but the same slow, forgetful service on 3 different visits? The "cookie cutter" food is actually one of the things I like about going to chain restaurants. They may not be anything special or different but you always know what to expect. Not at this particular Chilis I'm afraid. Over salted/over cooked food seems to be the norm here I'm afraid. I'm really not sure if I will be back to Chilis as long as I live down here. 3 strikes ya know?

My wife and I decided to eat at Chilli's. We have dinner before and no complains. BUT tonight's was different. The food came out of the kitchen really really slow. My wife had to ask for sour cream and some other items. They need to get some kitchen staff.

Sadly, our trip to Chili's today was less than wonderful. When we arrived we were told that there would be a long wait as the restaurant was short on wait staff. We waited about 25 minutes for a table, which was not too bad. The table behind ours had a loose bench which rocked every time the folks sitting in it moved. Fortunately they weren't seated until we were about 1/2 finished our meal. The ceiling vent began dripping water at about the same time the other party behind us was seated. My youngest son ended up moving to the other side of the table because of the dripping water. Food was mediocre at best. Our server was extremely nice and efficient at refilling drinks and replenishing our chips/salsa. The receipt didn't print at the table top pay station as it was out of paper, I think. We had to wait for the server to bring the receipt to us. The staff did an excellent job at bringing out the molten lava cake and singing the birthday song for my son. Other than the birthday singing and our very nice server, it felt like one long meal that wasn't worth what we paid for it. All we wanted to do was eat the cake and get out of there. Not the best way to end a birthday lunch! Fix the seat. Fix the vent. Put paper in the table top pay station. Hire more servers. Please!!

I will never go to Chili's again. My daughter took me to lunch and the hostess seated us in the bar area, surrounded by millions of TVs, next to booths were two couples were having very loud conversations about subjects I did not care to hear. What's the big deal you say? I am 80 years old, have grey hair and wrinkles. Who did she think I was? Mother Theresa? I did not want to upset my daughter and ask for another seat. The meal was so-so mainly because we could not have conversation. At the end on my way to the restroom, I found a section of the restaurant were it was quiet. Why didn't the hostess have the common sense to seat us there? I was not impressed and my ears are still ringing. Never again.

The food was horrible. It took a lot of time for us to get our food. We ordered Guacamole burger. It was not as described in menu. They did not make it right too much oil and butter and missing roasted red bell peppers and jalapeños. French fries had bitter taste.

Good food, good service. Had the chicken and fish tacos. Liked the chicken, wouldn't order the fish again. The bar seats are first come first serve.

I went to this Chilis after my body building competition with a group of 8 and Shawn was our server. We only lasted a total of 5 minutes at this restaurant because of how rude this server was. I made a joke about how the chips were cold from the app chips and salsa. He told me the chip warmer was shut off. My friend who was with me also works at chilis and she told me the machine is never off. I then joked around with Shawn how he lied to me and he became super defensive and said " I don't care that she works at chilis, the machine is off" He was seriously so rude and we ended up leaving because of how bad the service was. The manager came over and just apologized and didn't really do anything. I love the Chilis chain and will be returning to a different one. If you want mediocre and rude service go to the one at congress and ask for Shawn!

Very disappointing experience. Ordered online which was easy. Arrived at the time they said and waited for 15 minutes to receive food that was ice cold. The pickup counter was taking phone orders which caused the online orders to wait. Not an efficient system and will make me think twice before I go there again.

This was the first time at this chilis since we just moved to Boynton. We walked into the restaurant and were told 15 minutes. All around I noticed empty tables with tons of people waiting inside and outside. Whoever is managing this store needs to learn a thing or two about how to run a restaurant. After a 45 minute wait with 2 small children we finally got a call our table was ready. The entire restaurant at this point had almost all dirty empty tables and the hostess brought us back to a section that someone else had just sat another party. At that point we saw a clean empty booth but we're told that it was for a larger party. Clearly an entire restaurant with half empty tables should be able to accommodate our small party of 2 adults and 2 children. Worst experience EVER, will never go back... Wouldn't have eaten here if the meal was free...

I've been going to this Chili's for the past 15 years. Everything is changed. And not for the better. It is not the same Chili's at all. It is cold, bright, and has no ambience. I walked in and I walked right back out. It's seems like one step up from McDonald's.

Ate here on Saturday night and am still vomiting today on Monday. I ordered steak fajitas which I should not have eaten, it looked like dog food! Thanks a lot for the food poisoning chilis! Never going back

Love this Chili's! I'm on their email list, so we go here every so often when we have a coupon. They usually have good pours on their margaritas and the staff is usually pretty attentive and friendly. Note that this is a very busy Chili's and if you go during prime time, you will probably have to wait a bit. Also, there seems to always be a ton of kids at this Chili's so be prepared for a loud environment.

They where pretty slow in the kitchen but the service was good and the waiter was nice. My food was ok nice and hot how it suppose to be it wasn't as amazing taste wise but it was still good I did enjoy my margarita it was delicious

Took forever and a day to get our food. Service was extremely slow. Food is typical chilis....decently average. Do they seriously need to charge $.99 for the games at the table? Dessert was great... Chocolate molten lava cake. Highly recommend. Would be 3 stars except for the poor service.

I have been to this restaurant several times since I've moved to the area and each time is as great as the last. The new menu is awesome and service is always great. Definitely recommend to someone looking for good food and an equally good time.

Ohhhh Chili's. Let's face it, we all end up there every once in a while when we are hungry and just want a cheap meal. I have been to this location a handful of times and after our last visit my hubs and I vowed to never return. Well, he is on a quest to try every single type of pretzel bun out there so last night he dragged me there with my feet making skid marks. I'm glad he did because it was by far our best visit there. Wait was extremely long (20) minutes or more when there were a total of 11 tables available. I counted on the way to the bathroom...... I could see the servers were running around frantic trying to get to all their tables. At this point I asked if we could go across the street but NO, he spotted a pretzel bun sandwich being delivered and made a sweet deal with me that I could watch The Real House Wives of Miami in the bedroom, before bed, if I stayed.... Score! Once we got a table our server came over immediately. She was very friendly and we never had to look for her once during our meal. Food was good. One thing about Chili's is that the food is always consistent. You may get bad service but the quality is always the same at each location. They do the have best happy hour around. 2 Sam Adams Octoberfest beers for $4.50. Not bad at all! I did not try the much anticipated Pretzel Bun but what I can say about it was that they do not sell it with burgers because the shape is long more of a baguette but he wanted a burger and they did their best to make it work. He LOVED it and that's all that matters, right? After last nights visit I will be more open to Chili's and if all else fails at least the beer is cheap.

I used to like this Chili's, and I've been coming to this location for years, but man has this place gone downhill. The food was next to terrible, and we had two different waiters, one of which refused to say a single word to us. The atmosphere was still the same ol' Chili's casual ambiance, which to me is one of the only positives of the whole experience. Clearly management or somebody doesn't care anymore. This is the only One Star review I've written.

I dont visit chilis often; however, After seeing the commercial for the new chicken sandwich special... I had to go try it! We started with The endless chips and salsa--- they were good! Chips were nice and thin. I ordered the trio fajitas... The tortillas were hard, so that was a bummer. I ended up putting the fajita toppings onto the chips and eating it that way. I ordered it with the rice and beans... But I could've done without it. Overall it was an okay meal. My boyfriend ordered the sandwich. It was a pretzel bun with pesto mayo, cheese, chicken breast, bacon, avocado, and tomato. It was actually very good!!! I mean... How could it not be good with all of that stuff on it LOL! Service was good. Attentive and quick. We did not have dessert or drinks... So I can't really comment on that. Overall, it was a good dinner... But I am not sure how quickly I will return.

Horrible customer service! I USED to enjoy coming to Chili's. However, my last visit was horrible. Initial seating and greeting service was ok, but then when I received my food, I was not checked on the ENTIRE time I was there and had to flag down people to ask for the extra things I needed..(which no one saw me until I was half way done with my plate.) I placed a drink order twice on the table kiosk and no one brought it, so I had to flag someone down for that too, both times. When I was leaving my "review" of the night on the table kiosk (it asks after you pay) , the server must have seen me doing this, came up to the table and restarted the machine without even saying a word. I waited for it to reboot and attempted to continue writing it but of course what I already wrote was deleted. I proceeded to write another review of the service, which again was a failure because then the printer so called ran out of paper. I gave up at that point and then came to Yelp to write my review. I will not be returning to this Chili's anymore as I was so disgusted by the lack of customer service.

I stopped visiting Chilis because I kept having bad experiences and there are so many better choices. But I figured I try it out again on a weekday night. Same lousy service and what I'll never understand is why there is always a line of people outside and in the lobby waiting to be seated, and there are empty tables everywhere. Seat the customers! Do they not have enough staff to prepare tables for the next customer? Maybe that explains why you wait and wait for drinks and food. I'm sure not everyone see or feels the way I do, but Chilis is not for me.

I love going to chili's for dinner. I love the deal they have going on now for appetizer and 2 meals for $20. this is awesome!!! Chili's has really great burgers and i love their corn on the cob. Its buttered to perfection and always tastes amazing. They have a great strawberry lemonade which i order all the time, i just cant get enough of it. the staff is always friendly and very accomodating!

This Chili's location has the worst customer service. There were probably 20 people waiting to be seated but the hostess was too busy texting to realize that there were empty tables everywhere. We were told the wait was 25-35 mins, yet the people who came in right after us (same number of people in the party) were told it was a 10 min wait at the longest. Moved up to 4 stars only for good pricing... great promos... and drink specials... The food is typically good but not great! Although I've been to Chili's especially this location many times, my bf and I came here for a quick dinner before a movie last night. They have a great 2 for $20 offer which lets a party of 2 share an appetizer and get 2 full entrees at the special price... options are from a pre-selected list. We also had a coupon for a free app. or dessert which our server said we could use! Yay Heather! Anywho, we finally decided on the nachos that came in the 2 for $20 deal and chose boneless buffalo wings as our freebie app! My sweetheart had the honey chipotle chicken strips with fries and coleslaw... delicious... a bit tangy but delicious... I had the 1/2 rack of original ribs with fries... About 20 mins later, our food came out... my ribs were warm but leaning towards cool... didn't send them back though... (I know, I know... ) . Overall, satisfied... will I return, yes. Will I recommend, yes.

Yes. Another chili's review. After having chili's the night before we were visiting family in Boynton and decided to have lunch here. This time I didn't let myself order the usual classic nachos. I decided to get the Triple Dipper. I picked my three favorites. 1. Boneless Buffalo Wings 2. Southwestern Eggrolls 3. Hot Spinach & Artichoke Dip. Delicious!! However, my sister chose the same thing except she got Wings Over Buffalo instead of the boneless buffalo wings and while she was eating them she started to notice that they were very red in the inside and uncooked. Something didn't seem right so we told our waiter and sure enough they were not fully cooked. The manager came over to apologized and stated that we would not be charged for the meal. We didn't make a big deal about. We all still enjoyed our lunch and were pleased that they acknowledged their mistake. Service was good and I will definitely be returning.

went here the other day. the food and service was not bad and our waiter was ok. he could of been a little more attentive but wasnt bad. the only thing was he did not check my i.d. like it says to do on my card which as most people know from my previous reviews is a pet peeve of mine. would of given 4 stars if he would of checked my i.d.

Chilis is pretty good for happy hour and the food is consistent, but dont try to get them to honor thier own email coupon!! Ridiculous, my sis and I had dinner and then ordered another dinner for 2 to go and they refused to honor the free appetizer they knew about since we sat down!! They said we didnt order correctly?!
(3)
Michael M.
Chili's is Chili's no matter where you go. They've perfected the consistency that a good chain restaurant needs to be successful. Boynton doesn't have quite the night life of some larger towns so you can actually eat here at night without being drowned out by the bar.
(4)
Lauren M.
Yep, it's your standard Chili's. I love their fajitas and that's what keeps me coming back, but I did once have a pretty bad birthday experience here. (Yes, I once celebrated a birthday at Chili's. Don't ask. I don't think it was my choice).

I'm pretty much a regular here. I love this place because of the margaritas and the egg rolls. My friends and I go here 3 or 4 times a month. The staff is always great and the food is usually good. We've had a few instances where the food took a little while. Always a good time =)

The service was awesome, and the drinks were delicious. Food was good, but we've had better at Chili's.

went here the other day. the food and service was not bad and our waiter was ok. he could of been a little more attentive but wasnt bad. the only thing was he did not check my i.d. like it says to do on my card which as most people know from my previous reviews is a pet peeve of mine. would of given 4 stars if he would of checked my i.d.

Chili's is Chili's no matter where you go. They've perfected the consistency that a good chain restaurant needs to be successful. Boynton doesn't have quite the night life of some larger towns so you can actually eat here at night without being drowned out by the bar.
