Nice and quaint little restaurant tucked away in a plaza next to Publix. I went on a Sunday evening, and the place was pretty empty except for one other table. The mulberry pizza was quite good. The chicken cacciatore was ok, but I would have preferred the pasta to be a touch less cooked (I'm a huge fan of wonderfully chewy al dente noodles but these were a little done). The staff was quite friendly and patient as I tried to decide between the types of pizza. I might go back to try some of their other pizza combinations that sounded good and perhaps some dessert.

Consistently amazing. Chicken parm is outstanding. Pizza is phenomenal. Really impressed with the consistency of excellence.

Came in here the other day to try out a slice of cheese pie. The place was pretty empty and for slices there is only cheese or pepperoni. It's $3 for a slice which is a bit pricey for a plain slice. I thought it was very flavorless and bland and the guy at the counter was pretty boring as well. I would not come back.

Food was amazing. Had the brushetta to start....yummy. Tasted fresh and served fast...so thankful because I was starving. Had a delicious pie as well....great atmosphere...,felt like I was back in Italy. So glad they opened here!! Can't wait to go back for some gelato next time.

Pizza by the slice was really good. But the paninis were not great and pretty expensive. Chicken wasn't too flavorful, bread wasn't too fresh.

I had lunch today at PieZano's. Off the bat, I was not impressed with their customer service. Right after sitting down, I overheard the server tell another customer ordering that she could only get a slice of cheese if she wanted it by the slice, otherwise she would have to order a personal pizza. I didn't understand why they couldn't throw toppings on the cheese & heat it up, but that was for her to deal with, so I searched on for what to order. The prices were high for Italian, but maybe not for Boca. I ordered a Stromboli and it smelled amazing, but tasted ok, nothing special. The sauce by itself tasted kind of bland. I asked the server for a box & an extra side of sauce to go. He said he would wrap it up for me while I washed my hands in the restroom. I just opened it to eat my leftovers & his idea of "wrapping it up" was putting the Stromboli half on a paper plate & stuffing that into a paper bag, messily closed with no sauce; very disappointing. I expected at the least a Styrofoam box (but usually Italian places give those paper aluminum boxes) so this was the icing on the cake of a generally disappointing experience. It seems they don't really care about making the customer happy and with so many Italian places out there, they really should. I will not eat here ever again.

Stopped in per the recommendation of a colleague and decided to try out their lunch special: a slice of gourmet pizza, a slice of cheese pizza and a fountain beverage for $6. The price in unbeatable. Took the pizza to go and it was okay. I thought perhaps if it were fresher and hot out of the oven it would taste better. Service is really exceptional, quick and courteous! Love the decor inside.

Had a large pizza and a paper thin pizza from Piezano's today. So much of the pizza here in boca is similar and they have one of the best. Cheese was great. Crust and sauce had great flavor. Tasty pepperoni. The Greek salad had salty feta cheese and good tomatoes olives and cucumbers. Beware, the "paper thin pizza" is just a tortilla... Not a real crust. My three year old liked it but I was hoping for something more.

Just ordered online via grubhub and they totally screwed the order up. I paid $47 including tip for some penne pasta with vodka sauce and chicken, a philly SUB which I got on a panini and a slice of cheesecake which I paid $6.00 for and did not receive. Not impressed. The food tastes ok, nothing special. This was my first and last time ordering from this place.

A few weeks ago I stopped in PieZano's because I was craving chicken parm sub for lunch. The place was empty inside, which does cause a bit of concern, but the service and food assured me that it's just that people aren't giving this place a chance. Italian isn't the ideal lunch food, though I do find myself going to Marios on weekly basis. The name might discourage some, maybe its too cutesy for its own good. I didn't see a lunch menu or anything that resembled lunch prices so my sandwich ran me about $10. Sometimes cravings come with a price. The decor inside is cool, typical for a place of its kind but charming. I did notice some Adam Sandler pictures on the wall, so I wonder if his allegiance to Pasqualles is gone. Maybe the man just loves pizza. The fish tanks inside the place threw me off because you really only find those in Asian restaurants, but ok, this owner is clearly open minded. He is also very friendly and service goes along way. Now I haven't had their pizza so I can't call it but their pizza options look really enticing. The chicken parm was really good. Perfectly breaded and fried. It could have used a little more sauce, which I asked for, but the food, presentation and service that day was an A+.

We ordered Piezano on Friday night for delivery and could not have been happier. Got the cheese pizza which was really good. Also the garlic knots are yummy and bite sized. The delivery guy was very courteous as was the gentleman who took the order on the phone. Will definitely order again!

I require a Friday pizza lunch place for my weekly indulgence. It has to be decent, in Boca, and quick. After Annie's changed hands at FAU, the quality declined, so I bailed. Enter: Piezanos. PROS: -They make a decent slice of regular cheese and Sicilian. -They make a stellar white pizza. -The staff I've dealt with is quite friendly. The owner seems rather energetic, but he is very polite. -The prices are pretty good, and the portions are awesome. -Parking is easy. -The restaurant looks clean, and the restroom is kept. -One time they gave me a slice that they thought was too well done. They just gave me a free slice for first slice being too brown. A nice gesture. CONS: -They claim its brick oven pizza, but it looks like a regular pizza oven covered with a brick facia. No matter. I prefer regular pizza anyways. -The wait staff is a tad slow, but has improved during a recent visit. This is my current pizza place in Boca. I hope it stays open, because good pizza in Boca is hard to find.

Came here on a whim craving Italian. Saturday night, walked in and grabbed a seat no problem. We ordered a lasagna dinner and a chicken parmesan dinner. They each came with a salad, nothing special and fairly small. It also came with bread, it was fresh, but cold. It would have been a lot better if it was toasted. The lasagna portion was huge, and the layered noodles were nice and thick. Good amount of meat and cheese, however it was nothing extraordinary because it was all cooked with an unseasoned red sauce. The chicken parmesan was decent sized and just ok. It came on top of a very small portion of linguini. This place can satisfy our italian craving without breaking the bank, but it's really just an average place. I'd come back here to give their pizza and garlic knots a shot. A lot of people seemed to be ordering those.

Was reading through reviews and came across PieZano's. I have been t o this place on 3 seperate occasions. *I need to say I was initially thrilled because I live just the other side of the bridge and a good local Italian place would be very convenient. Aside from the lack of patrons on all visits, (Jason G.) the person that wrote the 4 star review had a very different experience than me and my friends. The 1st visit was shortly after they opened. We were with another couple. We told each other .. they're new - probaly need to work out kinks. 2nd visit 6 months later ...I expected they would have been in the groove by then. Wrong! even worse. Though only 3 tables had customers. The wait staff disappeared for long periods and when they were present, they gave the impression they didn't want to be there. The Food? - less than good. - better than poor. We told ourselves, not going back. But about 5 months ago, I was in a hurry and decided to order a large pie to go. Just a simple cheese pie. As I said, I live just the other side of the bridge - 3 minute drive. Got home and dug right in. Never seen this before. The cheese litterally fell off the pie. The sauce was so watery the cheese had nothing to anchor to. After writing my review, I read the other reviews. I am surprised that most of the others had similar things to say, but were more generous with their stars.

I've never been so disappointed in a restaurant! Ordered sweet tea, what I got looked and tasted like flat Coke, waitress said it came from a fountain. We ordered a small cheese pizza, a small vegetable pizza and chicken vasuvio. The cheese pizza was under cooked, had very little sauce and cheese and harly any flavor....how can you mess that up? The veggie was with even less sauce and they charged a $1 each for the veggies. The chicken had no flavor either, like they warmed it in a pan of weak gravy with no seasonings! All for $54. With tip...don't waste your money!

We had carryout for dinner from here about a week ago. We ordered a margherita pizza and an entree of chicken parm for carryout. Lots of mozzarella on the thin crust pizza. The pizza was okay - would need to try another pizza to really judge as it had sat a little while when we finally ate it so it was cold. Plus will need a pizza with sauce to accurately judge. So my 4 stars is really for the chicken parm entree. Nicely cooked penne pasta, good chicken, right amount of cheese and good sauce.

The wait staff is excellent. Anthony, the owner/cook, has serious problems. Having been a regular customer several times a month, Piezanos had earned a lot of slack. I even once showed Anthony a method, which he incorporated, to make his Margharita Pizza even better. Over the past several months, several friends have sad they no longer like Piezanos. Last night, the pizza was so burnt, that I was surprised Anthony would have dared serve it - nothing but ash. He not only showed no respect for his customers having sent that thing out, he showed no respect for himself. Then, to make matters worse, when he came to the table, he yelled at us saying it was our fault for not ordering a light crust. Light? How about not incinerated? A few minutes later, he delivered a raw pizza. Done. Now I understand why everyone else we know is avoiding the place like the plague.

Went there for dinner on Monday. There was no one at the hostess station when we arrived. After a few minutes a waitress took our name, I thought this was unusual because the restaurant was half empty. We waited over 10 minutes before we asked another waitress how long it would be to be seated. She apologized and seated us. During our wait I could see the manager, who should have been manning the hostess station, running around trying to set up a table for 11. This is a job for the busboy or a waitress, not the host, who should be seating guests. Once seated a waitress came by after a few minutes and took our drink orders. 5 minutes later the drinks arrived and that was the last we saw of our waitress. After waiting another 10 minutes for the waitress to come to take our order, we were fed up by this total lack of professionalism and service, so we got up an left. As further proof of the total lack of service or attention, no one apparently noticed our departure or came after us to see why we were leaving. People go to restaurants for the food and the service, if one is lacking it does not matter how good the other half of the equation is. There is no excuse for what I experienced when a restaurant is crowded and even more so when it is half empty.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
