All the magic of South Beach conveniently located in W Boca. I have mixed feelings about the food. The first time my son and I enjoyed. 2nd order with the whole family was not a success. We had the beef with mushrooms and pea pods which was pretty good. The General Tso was tasty as well. The soup was hot and flavorful. The noodles were fresh and crispy. While the food was not great the 2nd time around we will give another chance.

My family and I love this place! Delicious food, great service! The fried rice is so flavorful and full of all the yummy stuff, not just plain old rice! And the boneless spare ribs are to die for! Everything we've tried there is excellent!

The food was mediocre. We ordered three dishes with chicken, beef and shrimp. All three dishes were over loaded with vegetables and very little meat. We had to ask ourselves, "Where's the beef?". For the price, the portions were on the small side and the vegetables over powered the shrimp, chicken and beef. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant for the price, portions and ratio of vegetables to meat.

3.75 I've never been the the Woo's in east Boca because frankly I heard Gary is a real dick. The place looks creepy from the outside too. Plus the prices are high and I heard from several people the service sometimes blows, and not in a good way. And WTF is up with this pudgy Woody Allen looking mofo calling himself Gary Woo anyways? That's some blasphemous sh*t right there. I haven't been duped into thinking somebody was Asian like that since I found out the Wu-Tang Clan was full of brothas from Staten Island. The take-out joint in West Boca is pretty good though. Service is usually on-point with a smile. Prices are higher than your average neighborhood Chinese restaurant but I think the food justifies it. General Tso is my fav and the egg rolls are money.

The best dish ever, General Tso chicken extra spicy (no ginger). I get it once a week and i ALWAYS love it. BEST price for BEST quality lunch.

Wow-wee Woo...the food here is really good. Picked up a take-out dinner of Won Ton soup, General Tso's chicken, an egg roll and an appetizer of fried pork dumplings The generously-sized offerings were full of rich, savory flavor and may be the best Chinese food I've ever tasted. I don't say that lightly. The take-out menu here is extensive and I was really able to appreciate the exceptional quality and preparation of the food. The order was hot and ready for pick-up precisely as promised. You'll definitely spend an extra buck or two per entree over some of the other Chinese restaurants around...but you'll find the food here to be especially Woo-nderful and worth it. I'll be returning real soon.

If a place can't even get chicken & broccoli or fried rice right, then you know something is wrong.

As a New Yorker who loves his Chinese food, I ended up here on. Tuesday evening in July with my father for dinner. The original Gary Woo is closed on Tuesdays, and I was pleasantly surprised to see Linda and Bill, two of the best servers from Gary Woo working here. I was instantly greeted by name, a true sign of personalized service. It appears these detail-oriented, accomodating professionals are now the new owners of Gary Woo Express. The place is small, mainly takeout/delivery. But we dined in, and Bill and Linda nicely set up our table and served up some of the best Chinese food outside of NY. The classic spare ribs, wonton soup, and egg rolls were our starters. All very good. Chef specialty triple seafood with black bean sauce is a delicious must. As is the chicken egg foo young. I look forward to returning many times in the future for lunch and dinner to sample the vast menu. Prices are reasonable. Slightly more than your typical takeout joint, but you pay for what you get. Here, you're guaranteed a high-quality meal with superb service. Highly recommended!

Great food and very accommodating. I got the boat for 3 for a party and they were able to personalize it to be exactly what i wanted. It was for a party. Sad to say there were only 2 pieces left over for me for today. Everything was fresh and delicious. There was a nice variety of sushi and rolls. They delivered exactly when i asked them to. The tray was beautiful - all i had to do was put it on the table.

In spite of of the many whiners here, Garry Munoz make some very good condition. Not all are wonderful, and are as described below, but things like their shrimp balls, and certain of their specialties are perfectly prepared. Their prices are excessive, but in the vast wasteland of Chinese restaurants which are few and far between in this part of Boca Raton, they have a relatively captive audience. They offer some interesting specials, but their sushi is very very run-of-the-mill. I tend overall to like the restaurant over on jog Road near Atlantic a bit better, but the shrimp balls and their child fundamentals are hard-to-find and well-made enough that it's worth going back here for them once in a while.

Closest thing to good "Chinese" in Boca. Love this place, call ahead and bam the food is ready.

Way over priced for the portion price. Will never go back again. The combinations come with barely any food. All rice.

You're not gonna get amazing quality take out but definitely worth the buck and they give a lot of food

Whoever rates this place more then 1 star does not know food let alone Asian food! It's simply terrible! Worst is paying so much for bad food. Will never return to woo express nor for that matter their main restaurant!

Now my top choice in South Florida. Soup very good and far better than the standard salty yellow stuff you see in most places. Fried rice the best I have had in many years. Great eggroll as well. I will be sampling many other items. They also sell Japanese food so I will want to try some of those dishes. Really an excellent place and a standout form the run of the mill places.

Nothing special, this is quite simply basic take out.

Best Chinese food in Boca. Dispite the name Gary Woo is no longer involved and that is good. Over the top ribs and pork fried rice. More expensive that your average place but well worth it.

Wish there was a 3.5... but the average seems spot on. The service here, first of all, was super friendly and accommodating, which is not always the case. The food was fine, better than many local Chinese American fare, though I really hated the spring rolls... of course, taste is hard to agree upon for Chinese, though. The sweet&sour shrimp was less bready than many places make it, which is a plus for such an unhealthy treat. Bit of a haul north for us (we are so spoiled!) so we won't make many runs, but nice to know it's there.

Living in West Boca for 15 years we tried Gary Woos about a year ago we were about to just give up on good Chinese as I had tried many local places. The people here are so friendly either in person or calling in an order. We have tried many different dishes and are always happy with the quality and quantity. When we chose to have delivery they are super quick and the drivers are very nice.

I love this place. I get a sushi roll from here at least once a week and the people who work there are so friendly. Never had the Chinese food only the crunch roll, but it is amazing and such a treat. It's way cheaper than most other sushi places. Every time I call they have all my previous orders saved and when I go in they remember me and always give me a very warm welcome. 5 stars from me!!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
