Food is actually quite yummy but the ambiance is gross. Sign in the bathroom reads not to throw toilet paper in the toilet! Bathroom is disgusting with old crusty soap and no paper towels. On the plus side I really enjoyed the food but won't go back because I can only imagine the kitchen condition if everything else is so run down. Not up to Boca standards.

Food is okay but management has exhibited too many incidents of not giving a "hoot" for customers. There is a nasty older waitress who continually neglects, then insults her customers when pressed for service. If you are a masochist, this is your Paradise!

I used to be a big fan of China House, it was located very close to my house and was exactly how I pictured my delivery Chinese food to look and taste even with some nicer dishes that are found far and few between in south Florida. I called for an order tonight and found out that they have moved and are now offering a more "upscale" style of Chinese food. Placed an order of the same items my family always gets. They were right, the food was completely different....in a bad way. Very disappointed. What I can say positive is that the hot mustard is no longer watery and flavorless, it was actually substantial and spicy but the rest of the food was disappointing. The wonton soup and egg drop/wonton mixed soup was not eaten (2 spoonfuls each), the spring rolls had more oil than vegetables, the egg foo young was extremely flavorless, and the sauce for the steamed dumplings (which is normally as brown as soy sauce) was almost clear. I guess I need to look for a new delivery Chinese place to satisfy my craving a for classic delivery Chinese....unless I want to eat only mustard.

Fast, friendly service and very good food for the price. I had the walnut shrimp as my main dish. If you have not tried it, they do it very well here and I recommend it if you enjoy sweet foods. The sauce was not too mayo-y and the walnuts were perfectly candied. I also strongly recommend the wonton soup. It was delicious, my favorite part of the meal! Would definitely eat here again.

Good Chinese food here. There is nothing amazingly special about China House, other than it is solid a Chinese restaurant, and you get exactly what you'd expect from it. Service here is quick. They have never gotten an order wrong. I've only actually been inside of here once, and the place was actually decently crowded. China House always has coupons too, so make sure you check out the different free things you can get (they are located on their takeout menu). You can easily feed a whole family for dinner for around $30, making it good for your wallet too. If you are looking for Chinese for take-out, China House is a safe bet. Food (B), Pricing (B+), Atmosphere (C), Service (B+)

Thank goodness they are closing their doors!!! Used to love the food but despise going there due to dirty old nasty atmosphere... And if you can believe it has actually gotten worse in the past three years... We completely stopped going there even for take out about a year and a half ago and now they are shutting their doors! If they were not so mean and inhospitable to all guests it would be sad but they deserve what they got!!

Sadly, this place is closed. After coming here for nice quiet New York style Chinese food dinners, we will miss them!

Dining in here 2 weeks ago was a disaster, from the poor service of an unfriendly, rushing-us-along waitress, to the way-too-weird similarity of two completely different dishes, to the loud communal dining of all the employees in the dining area, to the sloppy packing up of our leftovers. I won't go back, and I won't get their takeout any longer.

I had take out from this place a few weeks ago and it was good. I ordered the honey garlic chicken combination and it turned out great. Good soup and egg roll as well

The worst service ever. We watched another couple that while they were ordering in mid sentence the waitress bolted from the table to grab her tip off another table. We were ignored while people seated after us had already gotten their soup. We were trying to flag down our waitress and she finally came over and said, "You need me, no, okay I'll be back" and off she went before we could even utter that yes indeed we needed her hence the reason we were waving out hands. UNBELIEVABLE! I was told I could only order off of the special menu which included soup and ice cream but when I explained that I didn't eat soup or ice cream she said, "Don't eat it but you'll still pay the same price." We finally got up and left and will never step foot in this place again.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
