Lovely host/ owners make you feel welcome; no snooty French here. Delicious unctuous sauces- hang on to your hot out of the oven baguette to sop up every last drop. We missed the early bird but it was a real bargain for price fixe. Saw lots of happy drunk people leaving with bottles of wine they purchased at the wine tasting hosted by the restaurant- the wine tasting finished at 8pm and they didn't leave until after 9:45pm- the restaurant stops serving at 9. We had the prix fixe- DH had the veal worth the $3 up charge. I wanted to drink the beef stew sauce and controlled myself and didn't ask for a soup spoon to slurp it up. Save room for the chocolate mousse or warm dark chocolate cake thingy I scarfed for dessert: craveable.

really, really good...and a lot more people in here at lunch time then I expected. They have at least 10 lunch specials priced below $10. They typically come with a small garden salad, but you can upgrade it to their French Onion Soup for $2. The soup is divine. You can also order anything from their dinner menu at lunch time. They have a bunch of dinner specials before 6:30 if you happen to be an earlie birdie.

Again we had a wonderful dinner at Chez Marie's. The cash $20 special is well worth it I'm going to include lots of pictures to show you how delicious the food is. The crème brûlée is always excellent, the chicken was deliciously, and the pasts was excellent!!! Best of all were the profiterole's! Not to mention the old standby French onion soup.

Wonderful evening celebrating my Morher's birthday. The food, music and service were all superb, and at a reasonable price. Start with the fromage, enough for 3 or 4. Merci Marie, grazie Franco.

Came here for Thanksgiving and it was wonderful. Came back with my friend for dinner two days later and the experience was terrific. Had the onion soup, duck and chocolate fondant. All were excellent. Marie is delightful and accommodating. Lovely ambiance and decor. If you want a change to something they are very helpful. Worth the trip!

The good is tasty but the value is low. For $14 for lunch I got 5 bites of duck and a half cup of potatos au gratin. The ambiance is nice but I was looking for something near work to grab for lunch and run back to the office. This is not that kind of location. It might be better for dinner and a nice date night

You will probably be greeted by Madame Marie herself. We went for Sunday brunch and it wasn't busy so Marie waited on us herself. To say it is authentic French Bistro fare is not only cliché, it is an understatement! The onion soup was so outstanding that even the bread in the soup was remarkable. I had people picking out the bread from my soup to eat it. Had the Quiche of the day which was spinach, mushroom, CRANBERRIES and got cheese. Flaky, tasty crust and wonderful combination of flavors. Everyone of my guests were exuberant about how wonderful their meal was. Kids got sweet crepes and didn't finish so I had some of theirs. Not missing that next time. Perfect. Just a great atmosphere and not as expensive as typical French restaurants. This could have been pulled right out of Paris! Don't miss this restaurant!

Had a great delicious lunch today at this wonderful little gem of a restaurant. Will return soon to have dinner.

I am not an expert on French food, and don't have it often, but I will say that the Coq au Vin might have been in the top 5 of anything I have eaten, ever. Just fantastic. I had the charcuterie for an appetizer, and that was ok. Some things tasty, some meats seemed dry/tough. Pate seemed too "firm" if that makes sense. They charge like 15 or 20 bucks to uncork your own bottle, that seems excessive. I know they make most of their money on alcohol in restaurants, but still I find that high. I tasted some of the dessert my wife had, and it was delicious. Everybody was happy with their choices. Very nice place. Service was acceptable, she was a little new so not an expert, but pleasant and reasonably competent. A downside, they have "live" music, which is basically a guy playing a keyboard, singing with some canned music in the background. Awful does not BEGIN to describe this. It would be ok in an airport bar, but NOT in a French restaurant. He was singing Sinatra, for God's sake. And it was too loud. Some nice background CD's would be far better. Torture. I would go back in a heartbeat (but sit further away from the singer)

Enjoyed a new French Food experience in South Florida. The staff and Marie were extremely welcoming they gave us great advice on the menu including wines. Definitely recommend, thanks for the great experience.

I am very baffled by the positive reviews for this restaurant. We decided to try it based on those reviews and the new ownership. To begin with, the bread arrived warm on the outside, but frozen in the middle. We both ordered the duck and could not slice the meat off the bone. It was "hard as a rock" and when we finally cut into it, it was undercooked and bloody. One of the owners, I believe, agreed, apologized and offered to redo or make us something else. We opted for the steak frites which was OK, but nothing special; mediocre at best. Dessert, the apple tart was the best part of the meal. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

I rarely write reviews but I want CM's to thrive so I'm going out of my way to praise this wonderful restaurant. I've lived in France twice and this restaurant is the real deal. (In a Boca strip mall of all places! Mon Dieu!) I first stumbled across CM's shortly after they took over the property. First visit was with my wife and son and everything - and I mean everything - was fantastic. The hostesses were attentive and knew everything about their menu and preparations. I had the duck and was floored as it was one of the best I've had (and I'm a bit of a snob about duck). My wife and son were both thrilled as well. He had the escargot and loved them - wouldn't share. Second visit was last night with my parents. Family-samples of their appetizers were reluctantly shared and they loved their scallops. Son's filet was perfect. Wife inhaled the sweet potato soup it was so good. I had the Terrine de Campagne and Shepard's Pie. The wine pairings were spot-on. Everything is from scratch, perfect portions, piping hot and oh so tasty. As I sat there for dinner I pledged to visit at least monthly for lunch and as often as possible for dinner. That shouldn't be a hard New Year's resolution to keep.

I spotted this restaurant and saw their brunch menu. Good authentic French food is very hard to find in Florida and if it is good it is very expensive and stuffy. I came up to see my Father-In-law and had to stop by for brunch. I don't eat meat or chicken so French is hard for me. The menu was so full of wonderful choices Marie had to come back twice. I could not chose between the wonderful quiches or the crepe and my husband and I both ended up with crepes. I have not had a light fluffy crepe that good since the Magic Pan closed in Philadelphia. He had the ham and cheese and I broke down and had the seafood. They were awesome and they came with salad and fruit. Everything is made to order and it shows. The new owners Marie and Stephane are really genuine and welcoming. They also have a fantastic early bird menu with a price fix at $21.00 for a three course meal with lots of choices. Their regular menu looks good too. I cannot wait to go back for brunch again and try something else and save room for desert. We ate outside but the white leather indoor decor is warm and welcoming. Yes, it was worth the 30 mile drive!

I had the chicken salad. Very tasty. The dessert crêpe with chocolate sauce was very good.

I often read reviews for the entertainment value as restaurants can't be as good or as bad as they are frequently purported to be. We dined at chez Marie on a Friday night when they were as busy as they could be. There was no sensation at any time that they were overmatched. Two couples had two apps, mushroom soup and escargot. The mushroom soup was puréed, very flavorful, and excellent. The escargot was reported to be outstanding. Two diners had mussels, one duck l'orange and beef Bourgignoun. All entrees arrived precisely on time and all were very well prepared. A 2012 Chablis from a small but very solid wine list was enjoyed by all. We are New Englanders enjoying a winter respite, but hard to imagine a town anywhere that would not be well served having a Chez Marie available to them.

My date and I visited Chez Marie for the first time January 4 and took advantage of their terrific early bird menu. You get a 3 course dinner for $21.90, or $19.95 cash. The first course is soup or salad (onion soup is not extra), a choice of 4 entrees, and dessert. My date had the soup of the day - creamed asparagus and raved about it. I had the onion soup and it was superb. We both ordered salmon for our entree and it was as good a fish entree as I have ever had. Served in a creamy mushroom sauce and wild rice. For dessert we both had profiteroles - ice cream, fudge, and pastry puff. With 2 glasses of somewhat pricey house wine ($9 - but a generous glass and excellent),tax and a generous tip our meal came to $70. An incredible bargain for wonderful food. The service could not be better. Warning: The Yelp map shows this restaurant to be next to TooJays. It is not. It is in the northwest corner of the shopping center next to Publix
