If you're looking for a mom and pop pizza shop, Casa L'Italien is the best in Boca. The pizza is just how I like it with a very thin crunchy/chewy crust. The best part about the crust is that it is never greasy or soggy! "Casa" as my family likes to call it, has delicious entrees too. I especially love the mediterranean salad and the grilled chicken Parmesan, which isn't on the menu, but they are always happy to accommodate. My husband loves the calzone which seems so big, it could feed a basketball team! Casa is a great family restaurant too. Kids eat for $.99 on Thursday's. As one yelper said it, this is the "Cheers" of the pizza world and it's true. You walk in the door and are greeted by name with a big welcoming smile! Don't miss out on the most delicious pizza in Boca!

The quality of food is always up to par. My favorite is the white pizza and the wings are some of the best I've had. I've also had the calzone and stromboli. Both were delicious and full of cheese. I highly recommend this place for a slice of classic NY pizza or something more adventurous!

Due to the glowing reviews of this place I thought I would give them a try considering I 'm also a transplanted northerner. I ordered the chicken parm sub and unfortunately it left a lot to be desired. I would have been willing to give them another shot if the service wasn't so bad. The lady that took my order wasn't very friendly to say the least. I understand that ppl have bad days but she was just way too abrasive for me to be interested in this place again. Turning lemons into lemonade, I did find an amazing chinese food place that's located right next door.

Been coming here for 3+ years. The service and food are always great. The people inside are always friendly and quick serve you. The pizza has a New York feel an is the best I have had since moving from New York. Would recommend to anyone in the boca area. They have daily specials as well.

You can't go wrong with the early bird special. This is kind of a hole in the wall Italian restaurant I'd expect to see in an urban city, not in Boca Raton. The atmosphere here is pretty bad. Drop tile ceilings are a bit gross, the seating was uncomfortable, no booths, and it's quite drab with lots of greyscale colors and noting to make the place standout. Half of the dining is down an ugly hallway right next to the bathrooms and the emergency exit. So basically what I am saying is that if you are looking for something to look at, this probably is not the place. Having said that they do offer a good early bird special I can't knock. So for the $9.99 early bird special I got garlic rolls, a side salad, chicken parmesan, and pasta. The garlic rolls were really just rolls with some garlic on top, but not really drenched in them to add flavor. Once we ate the garlic off of them, they were just dried out rolls. They came out with the side salad, which was a nice size salad and pretty good, but it was standard, nothing special. Chicken Parmesan was actually quite good; nice portion size, crunchy breading, and good cheese ratio. My angel hair pasta was a tad bit overcooked, but not really that important. Considering anywhere else in Boca you're going to be paying at least $20 a person for dinner, price wise this place was decent. The service here was fine, our waitress was nice. I can't speak for anything other than the early bird special, but I'll say that if I had to pay more than $9.99, I'd probably be disappointed. The chicken parmesan was actually pretty good, the other food was okay. And the atmosphere here is a complete disaster. If you're looking for a budget option for dinner, Casa L'Italien is probably a pretty good option for the early bird. If you can't make that time, I'd recommend heading somewhere else, at least for dine in. That's really the only reason this place stays afloat in my rating book, is the early bird. Without it their is surly no reason to return. Food (B-), Early Bird Pricing (B-), Atmosphere (D), Service (B)

Eleven months ago I reviewed this pizza place. At that time I rated them with three stars. Unfortunately today I am lowering their rating to one star. I don't like doing this but the service we experienced was atrocious. My friend and I walked in on a Saturday afternoon. It was early and they were pretty empty. Maybe two other people sitting at the counter if that. The girl who was handling the counter was also answering the phone doing take out orders. We were sitting patiently waiting for her to take our drink order. I understand she was young but that didn't make it right to curse up a storm because she was having a rough day. The tantrum she threw made us very uncomfortable. We asked her two times to please get our drinks. After sitting awkwardly for a solid fifteen minutes the pizza guy felt bad for us. He took our order for a few slices. Within minutes we had two slices of hot pizza in front of us. Still no drinks. The girl was still loudly bitching and complaining to another worker about her rough day. For the third time we asked for our sodas. We had pizza in front of us and we were hungry. Upon requesting our drinks she snapped. In the most juvenile display of immaturity she points her finger at me and says she will be with us in a minute. We just tell her we want two sodas. Not really a big deal. She storm's over to the soda fountain and to our surprise she takes the ice scooper and literally starts banging the ice. So now we are watching her curse up a storm, bitch to her coworker and make a loud ruckus with the ice scooper. Thankfully my friend had the common sense to walk out. We didn't touch the pizza or have our beverage. We sat there like idiot's thinking this girl would change into a normal person. Never happened. Truly the worst service we have ever received. We understand the frustrations of working in the restaurant industry. We both did it for many years when we were younger. For the first time ever we walked out of a restaurant. But when Jennifer went into an entire dialog about 15 minutes being an acceptable wait time for two sodas my friend suggested that we leave. There is just no reason to stay and be verbally abused by a crazy waitress. The one star rating is strictly based on the lack of service we received from Jennifer. We didn't even taste the pizza. Things happen for a reason. Within fifteen minutes we were seated at Stellas around the corner. Definitely my favorite pizza in Florida. We were able to enjoy delicious pizza and have excellent service. And our server at Stellas had quite a few tables and she was busy with takeout order's too. My friend and I had a great lunch because of the super service we always get at Stellas.

This is by far my favorite pizza joint in South Florida. I have never had anything bad here. The NY Stromboli is TO DIE FOR! The pies are huge with a perfect crust, great amount of cheese, and the most delicious sauce. Top it off with the AWESOME staff, especially the guy Craig behind the counter, and every experience that I've had there has been terrific. We like it so much, we have held our fantasy football draft there for the last three years! They are super accomodating and are the nicest people ever. If you have the opportunity, make it a point to stop in at this little gem.

Just ordered a large pepperoni pizza and an order of their Banzini bread. Delivery was quick, prices are good, and the food was pretty damn good. My wife and I moved to Boca from Long Island. Needless to say as New Yorkers we are spoiled when it comes to food. Especially Pizza. We tried a bunch of Pizza places before we tried Casa L'Italien. Aside from the enormous slices (who doesn't love that?) the pizza tastes pretty darn close to real New York Pizza. While it's not part of my ahem...diet I like to sneak in from time to time for a slice or two. We've gotten a bunch of our neighbors to switch over too. If you want real New York pizza in Florida it's NOT going to happen but this place is pretty darn close!

Great local place for pizza. They have a lot of competition with all the wood fire pizza places in the area that have amazing pizza but they are close to my house and do have a classic slice of NYC style pizza.

This place has by far the best Pizza in the area, and possibly in Boca. While I have not tried Pizza everywhere in Boca, it would be difficult to top them. The crust is crispy, the sauce is flavorful, and the amount of cheese is just right. They serve slices all day long, which is always a plus in my book, and their slices are the size of a small individual pizza at t a lot of restaurants. I have a confession to make. After years of making fun of my brother and father for liking anchovies on their pizza, I have become an anchovy-a-holic. I order anchovies on my pizza just about everywhere I go. I have seen places put small specks of anchovy on pizzas and I have seen places put strips of anchovy on pizza that look like pieces of plastic. Casa L'Italien does neither. They use nice pieces of good, flavorful anchovies. On my last slice I had, I counted 8 slices of anchovy, more than enough to get flavor in every bite. I have seen the meat lovers slice, and I am still trying to figure out how they make money on it. I know pizza is cheap, but there is literally a half pound of various meaty pizza toppings on each slice. I have yet to see a whole meat lovers pizza, but I have to assume that it is similarly covered with artery clogging meats. The rest of the menu is your typical Italian fare, but they do have some unique offerings. They have something called bonzi bread which is basically garlic bread with a ton of cheese over the top. Any of their sandwiches can be made on bonzi bread, and if you have a letter from your cardiologist (j/k), I would definitely recommend it. The calzones come in two sizes, huge and ginormous, but they list them as small and large. The small is definitely suitable for 2 people to share, and the large is just ridiculous. The baked ziti is very good, and the chicken parmigiana is too. One of the ways to make sure you sell good Italian food is to insure that you start with a good sauce. At Casa l'Italien, they do!

Seth S.
Casa L'Italien aims to please. It is the pizza version of "Cheers" where they not only know the names of their regulars but their meals of choice as well. I love that they are always experimenting with new menu items or pizza toppings. The pizza at Casa is some of the most consistent in Boca Raton. You can never go wrong with a meal here. I'm a big fan of the Penne ala Vodka.

Pizza is just okay. We were visiting in town and took advantage of the 2 large pizzas for $20 special. **Note: This is only for cheese pizza...toppings are an additional fee** They forgot to include sauce with our garlic knots and the side of pepperoni we requested. Pizza was not delivered hot. The other reviews seem way overly high to me...although one did say hi liked the meals there, so perhaps you'd be safer ordering a meal.

Their pizza is the best! Always consistent with an excellent thin crust & perfect amount of toppings. Wings are great too. We've ordered subs and think they are just ok, although the chicken banzini sub is fantastic! Haven't tried other things on the menu because the things we regularly order are just so good! Staff is very friendly. We've tried all the local pizza places in West Boca & this one is the best!

What can I say... Casa L'Italien is my favorite pizza in Boca Raton Florida. If you like ultra thin New York City style pizza this is the place. It's often my default pizza to get for pick up when I have that craving. The slices are thin, like I said, and there's always service with a smile. The slices are so thin you wont feel guilty eating 4 slices, yes 4 slices. I just took 10 kids and 3 adults there the other day as part of my sons 12 year old birthday. The management was great. The kids went wild and everyone just loved it. Not only is the pizza aces for Florida, the onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and french fries are awesome. All the kids said I didn't even know about this place before I took them. Thats easy to understand, being Casa L'Italien is tucked away in a sleepy shopping center off of western Yamato Road. Casa L'Italien guys if you are listening, a little advertising would be a great idea!!! I'm not looking to spoil the place, just make sure you keep this little gem of a place and its delicious pizza around through the rough economy. All-in-all great pizza, good appetizers, nice salad. Go to Casa L'Italien and mangia!!! On a scale of 1 to 8 slices, in Florida where 5 is Good and 6 is Really Good, I give Casa L'Italien a 7. If you are comparing to great New York pizza on a scale of 1 to 8 slices, it's still great at a 5

All the best places in Florida seem to be in little strip malls and this is no exception! Friendly service and amazing food are the standard at this little slice of New York in Boca. I spent a little time speaking with the guy making pizza (who turns out to be the owner!) and found out that he learned from some of the best pie makers in NYC before bringing that taste down to Florida. Probably the best slice of Pizza I've ever had in the sunshine state! The place has good selections of beer and wine and is super kid-friendly. Also - if you're really hungry try the Steak Bomb - it won't disappoint!

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
