Excellent food and great prices! Went to the location in Coral Springs and going back to the Boca location today. Will keep you posted. Love their chicken soup. Was very tasty. My daughter had the shrimp Alfredo also very good.

Oh no!! What happened to Carraba's? This was one of my favorite Italian restaurants until my last two visits. The service was poor due the fact I had to ask twice to have my drink refilled and the food took over 30 minutes to reach our table. We were told twice "Your food will be right up." only to wait an additional 10 to 15 minutes. My chicken Bryan, which I always order, was covered in pepper and the portions have become much smaller. I even asked if this was the larger portion which I paid a few dollars more for. Disappointing experience all around for what use to be one of my favorites.

My expectations were quite low based on the reviews and Carrabas failed to deliver even on that. The experience could not have been worse from the time we arrived. I should note that I didn't choose this restaurant and it was Mother's Day so there was a bit of a crowd. To begin we made reservations for 9 yet when we arrived they sat us at a table for 6. We were seated outdoors but because of the heat asked that the screens be raised to let some breeze in. The Manger arrived and told us she didn't have time to keep raising and lowering the shades based on the whims of the customer. I'm not shitting you! This was the manager! The paragon of customer service! Nevertheless she asked someone to raise the shades (and it immediately cooled off to the point of being bearable). We waited an hour for our drinks to arrive. The food arrived an hour after that. The server seemed confused at times. My $15 entree salad was worthy of Denny's. If you're interested in an Alice in Wonderland experience with average at best cuisine do yourself a favor and dine here. On the other hand if you have an ounce of self respect and prefer to dine somewhere where they actually care about the diner, don't.

We come here often for date nights and with our children. Food is delicious, and drinks are good. I would recommend coming on off times when it isn't busy. Since this is in central Boca you DO get an older crowd, which seems to hold the servers up because they ask 100000 questions, and meal times tend to run longer overall. We like to come During happy hour and sit at the bar on date nights for half price apps.

Half price appetizers at their bar till 7 pm. They have a huge selection too! We had the caprese salad, risotto balls, and the shrimp. All were under $6 I believe. The shrimp were plentiful, I swear there was like 15 of them, very good. Totally going back for Happy Hour!

Food was good. Service was good but the place was not busy at all. Lots of empty tables. VERY small portions since last time we were there and much HIGHER prices. This used to be a great restaurant with enough food to be able to take some home. Minuscule portions. Paid an extra $2.00 for 2 very tiny lumps of gorgonzola. Can't believe they had the nerve to charge for that little tidbit. It was insulting. One glass of wine and one entree which included a side salad. $31.00. Too pricey for a very small meal and one glass of wine. Oh well, time to find a new place.

Ugh I don't understand the appeal in the slightest. Who ever waits 45 mins to- hr for the pleasure to pay for below mediocre food is beyond me.A gift card brought us here and we were able to snag 2 seats at the bar. They offer wine by the glass, bottle, or in little carafes called quartinos. The quartino is about 9 Oz (aka a glass and a half). We got one to split and the Carnevale pizza. The pizza has sausage and pepperoni on it. It was unimpressive and i would have considered almost asking if it was a tiny tombstone pizza if I didn't want any repercussions on additional food or drink i ordered. We got a second quartino and the small calamari app. The calamari has to be one of the worst I've had. The actually pieces of calamari were too small. They had the rings and the tentacles, the tentacle pieces just tasted like balls of batter. I felt bad to my body had eaten those calories. The service at the bar was spot on. The place was busy and the girls were doing a great job keeping tabs on everything. She did ring in the wrong wine (the bill had a wine for 6 bucks more than what I ordered) but once I brought it to her attention she easily corrected it with no problem.

This is my first time at this Carrabba's. Great location on 18th and powerline. Monday nights the have the amor night, which is a 3 course meal for $15.99. Great deal. My wife and I both ordered off of this menu. Apps like the calamari and the mozzarella sticks had too much breading. Entree came out and not bad, but the service made up for it. Our server Nester was great!

Yelp peeps, this is no 4 or 5 star, I gotta tell you, unless you think Olive Garden is worth 2 or 3. The wait was silly for skimpy mediocre salads, very small pasta portions and little that tasted wither authentic or good; even the bread was weak. definitely stay away from the baked ravioli- they burned the heck out of it, and even the unburned parts were dry and tasteless. The deserts were fairly delicious, though, which kept the entirety from total disaster. Probably first and last try.

Today I went there with a friend of mine. First of all I think they have to buy new A/C unit or maybe just change the floor. the floor smells pretty bad. Thats what you notice right away. Food was good. We ordered clams, good enough. Chicken Marsala was good too. This place just needs to spent some money to get it back in shape

My wife and I both used to work for the Carrabba's/Outback chain. My how these chains have gone downhill over the past few years. Service and food times are ridiculous. To cut costs, these companies have dramatically cut staff, no buss boys, and the servers are running 5-6 table stations instead of 2-3 like they did for the last 10 years. The servers don't have the ability to give the amount of attention required to each customer like they should. They are constantly in the weeds.

Service was great, dinner and appetizers were good as well but dessert was really bad! Came here with a friend for a quick bite to eat. We got here for happy hour and ordered a few drinks and the stuffed mushrooms. The bread also came out and both were delicious! We decided to try a few specials on the menu that aren't usually there. I had the cedar planked salmon with asparagus (very good but the asparagus was a bit dry and over cooked), and my friend had the Rigatoni Al Forno (pasta with sausage, fennel, ricotta and mozzarella cheese ) it was good. I also had the lentil soup and it was really delicious. For dessert I saw they had Crème Brule on the menu and I had to try it, my friend ordered 2 cannoli's to go. I absolutely LOVE Crème Brule and I really had my hopes up high for this since I rarely order dessert. It was such a let down. The traditional crunchy sugar topping was soft and so was the crème custard below. It was actually runny. The flavor was ok but it was not prepared properly. Later when we tried the cannoli's they were just bad all around. The shell was flavorless and mushy and the filling looked like a 3 year old made it and it tasted that way as well. It was a BIG LET DOWN!! Neither of us had been to Carrabba's in a long time and we definitely enjoyed our meal but dessert was really bad and we will probaly skip it next time.

I have gone to this location for 10 years and over the past 2 , it has slipped big time small portions poorly cooked food and the staff which was always good is now fair at best. Dog friendly patio was nice overlooking the lake. Unfortunately, the patio faces northwest and you get a lot of sun in the eyes in the afternoon. The food at Carrabas seems to be going downhill at most locations. Only mediocre.

Have visited this location many times in the past and it just seems to have went down hill. Ordered the grilled salmon, the first plate came out and the bottom side of the salmon was half covered with skin. The waitress was very polite and took it right back for me and after a reasonable amount of time they brought me a new piece. This piece was much better however sell had small pieces of skin on it. At this point I was over it, unless a fish is served "skin on" this shouldn't be an issue. I'll stick with Duffy's up the road which serves a decent salmon at the same price point.

Went last night with my husband and cousin. It was okay. Not great, not bad, just okay. The service was pretty good. The food was good, but the size of the servings seemed much smaller then the last time we were there. All if our entrees were cold when they arrived at our table. We sent them back to be heated. I asked for more bread, which was not ready until after we finished our meals. The manager packed some up for us to take home. Maria, the manager, went out of her way to make sure we were okay. She even gave me a coupon for a free appetizer on our next visit. With so many good Italian restaurants in this area Carrabba's needs to do better.

There is a lot to like about this place. The menu is varied and there's a nice ambience. There is the problem of incredibly long waits, why anyone would wait an hour for pasta is beyond me though. The problems however are tied to the waitstaff. Some of them are running around for sure but some of them are just lackadaisically meandering around. When you're sitting at an open kitchen restaurant we know how long the food is sitting before a server delivers it! It's not a magic one way window. We notice when salads sit there for 10 minutes or when steaming bowls of pasta end up being delivered less than steaming. There's too much joking around in my opinion. It's a business and needs a bit more business sense and not so much what are you doing after service sense.. The food quality is good but the prices match that as well.

Carrabba's in Boca at SW18th and Powerline is the best Carrabba's in my area. I have been going for about 8 years now. 2 owners over that time as far as I know. Disappointed maybe once or twice out of a few dozen visits. Every dog has it's day. Highly recommended.

Went with my parents last night for the first time in a long while. Despite it being our go to place over years, we didn't care for it last few times and have stayed away for 2 years or so now. Happy to say that's changed and it's back to what we remember: realllllllly good. Food was great. Big portions. Excellent service. They don't rush you. It was my parents 50th anniversary (we all actually had forgotten!). We mentioned at end of meal and they comped us the most delicious dessert. We didn't mention it, looking for something....they just said it's on us, and they don't see a lot of 50th's. Was so very nice!

My family and I got together for my grandpas funeral, and we decided none of us wanted to cook. We called Carrabbas and asked if they could do any carry out orders for a large group, Christian (manager?) didn't hesitate to help us with what we wanted. They had the food ready for us within an hour. Wonderful!!!

The theme of this place is SLOW... and the food will always be mediocre My girlfriend and I went here on a Friday night for what we thought was going to be a quick dinner. We have been to the Carrabba's on University Dr. in Coral Springs, and never had a problem. Carrabba's is notorious, however, for having a long wait. To ensure prompt seating, I called ahead and put my name down for 7:30. We weren't seated until five minutes until 8 o'clock--the 25 minute wait every other customer was advised of. The hostess sat the two of us down at an 8 person table (I later learned they were short staffed and couldn't handle more tables). We knew what we wanted already, so in an effort to get out of there early, we placed our food orders when our waitress came to take our drink orders. Our soup and salad came within 15 minutes (with which I was presented a filthy spoon), but we didn't receive our main course until 9:05, more than an hour after we ordered. My girlfriends seafood dish smelled fishy and unappetizing, and my chicken was cold. I thought an hour was plenty of time to heat up a piece of chicken, but I guess not. The chicken, or perhaps another component of the dish, hand an unexplainable sour and soapy aftertaste. By the time we paid and walked out the door, it was almost 10 o'clock. I spent 2 and a half hours here more than I ever should have. My 1 star is for the kind waitress. The food, atmosphere, promptness of service, and cleanliness certainly don't deserve any stars. If you ask me, Carrabba's is still an OK restaurant to dine at, as long as you are prepared to have corporate chain Italian food. Just be sure to avoid this specific location--I recommend the one in Coral Springs.

I will never go back to this place. I had made a reservation and I showed up, the hostess ignored me for a about 5 minutes. I told her I had a reservation for 9 and she said it would take 30 minutes to get a table. Reservations don't guarantee anything. She said it's just a call ahead, but they never explained it on the phone when I called. The girl was very rude and didn't even try to accommodate my table. Very unhappy!

Solid food. Similar service. Can u do much better? Absolutely. The place prides itself on preparation and freshness; however, it's really not that much better than Olive Garden. Worse still is that the value proposition absolutely tilts toward OG and not Carrabba's. Just saying...

I've been here many times and have always had a good experience. The Spidino de mar is my favorite dish along with the Marsala steak. Also, when receiving the warm, crusty bread before the meal, always ask for a side of Marsala with mushrooms. It's awesome. Staff has been great too. Avoid the rush hours when it is crazy busy and the experience should be good.

Used Curbside Pickup and on the real, the food was FIRE. It was so good. Fire= no pun intended, means really good. Chicken Bryan was DELICIOUS. The mushroom gravy is delicious. The Filet was also AMAZING. We split both. I wouldnt even ruin it with A1, that's how good. Bread-amazing with the spices and the food was packed nicely and stayed hot. Kids pasta and meatballs seemed good too because the kid ate it. Very good and enjoyable.

probably our last time. I called ahead to ask if there was a wait list and Jacob said "I don"t know, things are always changing". We were seated right away and ordered a drink which took 15-20 minutes to arrive. The mussels were as small as raisins, and our entrees arrived over an hour after we ordered. No ice in our waters and the glasses were never refilled. The manager promised a dessert after we expressed our dissatisfaction, but that never came either. It is a shame that the execution is so poor because the food is generally good. At east we didn't have to wait an hour after being told the wait was only 30 minutes like the last time. I'm pretty sure this is our last time!

Full disclosure: My last name ends in a vowel and I usually dont go to Italian chain restaurants. That being said, my mother in law graciously invited to take us to Carrabba's for dinner. Not a great start. Although we had dinner reservations for 6 15 we were not seated until 6 40. The place was mobbed on a Sunday night. The noise level was fine for a family outing but certainly not a date night place. I like the concept of having grilled items at an Italian restaurant. My Italian grandfather was the master of grilling steaks, Italian sausage and chops over a hard wood fire. .Unfortunately after I placed my order for grilled porkchops the waiter returned a few minutes later and advised they were all out. Default to veal Marsala which was terrific. Very tender veal in a nice mushroom Marsala sauce. Like the idea that they used the same sauce for my side of pasta. They did not have crumbled Gorganzola cheese for my salad so I settled for blue. Salad was fresh and just fine. Had a glass of an Argentinian Syrah for $8.50 and it was delicious. Other diners had no complaints and also enjoyed their dinners. Would I return? With a group yes, with just my wife no.

Nice view outdoors and friendly waiter but the food was terrible. Had scollops that were over cooked , when the plate came, it did not have a professional appearance, the vegetables looked as if they had fallen on the floor, scooped up and put back on the plate. It was all over priced. No Thanks, never again!

I ate here a couple of times when in the area visiting family. The food is good to better than average / fairly predictable Italian fare. I've had the spicy pasta with sea food and it was good, as well as a snapper special that was tasty. There's a nice outdoor seating area over the water where you can have a drink if there's a wait for a table (and on a Saturday night there most definitely is). The highlight here is the service. Both times we've had stellar service--super friendly folks who seem genuinely interested in making sure you have a good dining experience.

Ok food. Great scenery outside by a lake; it is infested with smokers. How do all those old birds even live that long while smoking? Anyway; our waiter was Jeff and he was super cool. Some of the hostesses seemed persnickety. Great drink specials.

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Great restaurant but way too hot. Thermostat must have been broken or poorly set. Staff said there was nothing they could do. Carrabba's management should revisit this issue.
