We went to the little French restaurant last night with my meet up group for french speakers. It under new ownership and will be named Chez Colette. Colette was there last night and it was a wonderful dinner for all of us. We had about 20 in our group. I had the scallops and my husband had the beef bourg. Very tasty on both our meals. We split the onion soup, could have been a little hotter but with a large group such as ours I understand how that can sometimes be a challenge. My husband and I also split the crime brûlée for dessert and it was to die for! Colette also brought us some delicious mini quiche as an amuse bouche! The chef sent out to everyone in the group a sparkling moscato at the very beginning of the evening. It was all very lovely as we all babbled along in French and English. I think everyone enjoyed their evening. Will head back soon.

Last time I ate here was a year ago, so maybe things have improved....hopefully. We had a horrible experience. First and foremost, there was a giant cockroach crawling around and in our booth and the booth next to ours. We told our waitress, and she seemed annoyed we had a problem with giant bugs in the dining room. She took her shoe off and killed it with it. Classy, considering entrees are $20-$40. No one ever apologized about that. The food was also awful. I got pork tenderloin with a Dijon cream sauce. It was so rich (like I put a stick of butter in the sauce) and definitely not Dijon, tasted more like frenchs yellow. Pork was also seriously overcooked. Vegetables that came with it were also swimming in a cup of oil. Very disappointing meal.

I love French food. I could live on wine and cheese. So i've been trying to find a wonderful French restaurant for years. This place doesn't totally hit the mark but doesn't completely miss it either. The food was definitely much too heavy to be traditional French. In France, the portions are small and very, very light pretty much everywhere. Here, all the food was extremely heavy and Americanized (i.e. super sized). They're not Cheesecake Factory portions but when looking for an authentic restaurant, I'm personally looking for a place that serves small enough portions to be able to eat an appetizer, dinner, and dessert and still not feel totally full or like my arteries are clotting. Don't get me wrong, the food was delicious. And in their defense i had the rack of lamb which is naturally fattier. My husband had the filet mignon. Both were smothered in sauces, which again, were good but too much. Aside from that, the restaurant is very small and quaint, packed in just like in France. I didn't really appreciate the night's entertainment i must admit. It was an older gentleman playing music that was in no way French. He was good, but it was much too loud and completely out of place. For being a French place, they only had a few wine options, all of which were house wines. No wine list at all. Not good... The staff was very friendly but service was a bit slow, which was probably the only authentic French aspect to this place. I think i'd return here eventually but i'd want to check out some other places first for comparison. I'm hoping that someone somewhere in Tampa Bay knows what real French cuisine is like.

This small bistro is a hidden gem. Chef Christian does a tremendous job putting out daily specials or if you are in the mood have the crepes they are always "just right".

Great service, good quality, would have liked a larger portion maybe 2 crepes instead of just one. I generally eat small portions at lunch, but the lunch entrees should be a little larger. Lost 1 star because of portion size only. really nice and helpful waiter will happily share his opinion with you to help in your choice. Small Dining room so I would call ahead.

Great. I had the pizza. It was crunchy and flavourful. This was a year or so ago. My parents went last weekend and said the lamb wasn't so great this time. Perhaps it was a bad day? I plan on going back anyway.

i've lived within walking distance to Le Bouchon for 13 years and just recently decided to give it a go....we were not disappointed!! They were not very busy, but service was great (with french waitress I might add) and maybe the best house merlot i've ever had. The Brie appetizer was delightful, the main courses were great, and the desert....whoa! I had the steak and though cooked to perfection, I likely wouldn't order again, but hey, why am I ordering steak in a french place. My wife had a shrimp and scallop combo that was fantastic--scallops cooked just right. We enjoyed the whole affair and even with several wines, an appetizer and deserts, it was very affordable.....heck I'm going back just to enjoy the wine....

We just went last week to Le Bouchon while on vacation. Went there a couple of years ago and it was so good. This time we had a scallop dish which was out of this world. Our waiter Edward was so helpful and friendly. We had a dessert of creme brulee which was just so so. But we will go back again if vacationing in the area. highly recommend!

Now called LePetite Bistro- They have 11 tables, and had 1 waiter on a Friday night. Our appi and salad came out in good time. They only serve wine. I wanted a beer. We waited 35 min for our main course. The food quality was good, but came out COLD. My wife was told her veal was served with mashed pot and it came out with rice. The waiter made excuses and then brought out a small dish of cold mashed pot for her. Skip this place.

Nice place, rather small but the food is very good (albeit pricey) and we will return.

I've never had a bad meal here, and one of the few restaurants where I usually get one of the specials. The creme brûlée is the real deal and without a doubt the best around.

I enjoy this small restaurant. It has a nice little bar if you just want to stop in for a drink or eat there if all tables are booked. Staff very pleasant. Chef will even come out and chat occasionally. I ate there last week and had an early dinner alone which is unusual. I usually like to join friends, but I felt welcomed and comfortable there. Service was great. The owner was friendly and made sure I had a drink immediately. I had the seafood crepes and salad and it was good. Thankfully they no longer have the musician in house. I go there a number of times throughout the year.

Service was average, and the adult beverage selection was rough (at best). Be advised that the owner and chef Daniel are not interested in any feedback that you may have regarding your meal. I think it's the notorious French attitude that they purvey. There are a lot better places nearby that are a much better value.
