Couldn't stay away for too long, we came back for dinner , we had the beef Burgundy and talapia with rice and salad. The beef Burgundy was tender but very under seasoned, the potatoes were hard to eat because they were so dry and plain. The talapia was alright and the rice was under seasoned, the salad had some kind of foul dressing that made it inedible. In the end the dessert we had which was a lemon custard kind of mini cake was very nice, like my previous reviews this place is a must for desserts but do not eat dinner here, no wonder it was empty on a Saturday night! The waiter was hilarious and very caring for us if it wasn't for him and the desserts i would give this one star, i could have cooked the food better myself.

Maybe their croissants are good and I will try this places again to give them a shot. But we went for breakfast this morning and were disappointed. We ordered the eggs Benedict trio and it was nothing to write home about. We were told that it would be served on a brioche, but when the dish arrived it seemed like normal wheat bread to me! Anyway, I didn't get any kick out of it. I ordered an iced coffee and that was lame too. There was hardly any ice and the coffee did not have any flavor. My husband got a regular hot coffee and that was quite flavorless too! I also ordered a seafood crepe and that was okay. The service was okay. We asked for coffee and were forgotten about. Maybe their baguettes and things are nice, so I will try that out. But I will definitely not spend money on breakfast here!

The pastries were great and service was super friendly. We gobbled down an apple turnover and almond croissant. Fresh orange juice made on the spot was delicious and enjoyed my coffee as well. The veggie omelet we had was nothing special and I'm not sure I would order it again, but I'll certainly come back for my bakery needs!

A good French bread is like a work of art. Bread can be boring filler most of the time, but when you get people who really know how to make French bread, and serve it warm with some real butter, and strawberry jam, it's enough to make you weep. Rendez-vous bakery does it 100% right. And they give it to you as a starter! If I lived closer I'd just order cortaditos and keep the bread and butter coming all day. And maybe a chocolate croissant if I'm feeling frisky. But I'm selling the food short. Their breakfast is excellent. The eggs benedict were superb and my husband had a ham and cheese omelet that was excellent. Love the little roasted potatoes that come with it. Excellent spot for breakfast. Service was slow but the people that work there are super nice. Plus, it gave me more time to eat all the bread.

What a surprise! This place is delicious. We went for breakfast and each had a different plate one better than the next. The eggs Benedict were fantastic as was the French toast. The coffee was delicious and the pain au chocolate (baked fresh) were out of this world. The food was so good we bought baguettes (also baked fresh) to take home. Will absolutely be back.

Good breakfast spot for groups. I came here with friends to celebrate and also because we were really hungry. Pretty much all of us ordered breakfast omelettes with the exception of some who ordered eggs Benedict. Everything looked delicious and from my own personal omelette experience, I was pleased. I believe anywhere that offers dishes with hollandaise sauce is worth checking out, because it can improve breakfast food dramatically. Our dishes came with French baguettes which were great to share as a group. They also have champagne and freshly pressed juices. Perfect for mimosas. They have several tables outside that are easy to combine, and more seating indoors, but the restaurant is best for groups of 4-6 people.

The trio Benedict is a must have. After reading reviews and seeing the pictures, I just had to order it. Only bad part was waiting about 20min for a glass of water. The server brought the food out and I didn't see them again for 30min.

A great family owned restaurant bakery. I came to Florida from a snowy NY so I very much appreciated the outdoor seating. I read about the eggs Benedict prior to ordering so I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. And I wasn't! Only thing for my preference it was a bit "wetter" than most eggs Benedict I had but nonetheless the hollandaise sauce was on point. We also ordered some coffee (when I say we I mean my dad and I) and he also had pancakes with the fresh fruit. They were delicious! I personally think the dish was a bit small (2 pancakes). And we can't forget those roasted potatoes that came with my eggs Benedict. OMG! Reminded me of my grandmas fried potatoes (if you ain't russian then you ain't getting this reference). Now we also ordered an almond chocolate croissant. This was one of the highlights because of the quality of chocolate used, the freshness, and the balance of the "flaky" croissant with the rest of the ingredients. Coffee was also delicious and went perfect with the meal. The price is reasonable so no complaints there. Family owned and operated (father and son) and they are very friendly with customers and know the regulars. Personal service can go a long way and when you have great food being served along with it, you're sitting on a golden ticket!

This bakery is so cute. I imagine it's like sitting at a little cafe in France. We sat outside on a beautiful day. My boyfriend had an iced coffee that was made fresh but wasn't cooled down enough so the ice melted and watered down the coffee. My boyfriend got the Eggs Benedict and I got a croissant breakfast sandwich. Both items were delicious. The croissant was flaky and buttery as it should be, the eggs tasted fresh and the potatoes were great! After breakfast we came in the store and got some desserts. We got like a little caramel dessert and a chocolate croissant. It tasted very authentic, fresh and the chocolate was the good kind. The service was friendly and fairly quick.

Their croissants are AMAZING! And the manager(?) gave me a macaron on the house that was to die for! Their coffee is superb. They have many gourmet desserts. Consistently good food.

Would never go to that place again! After eating chicken spinach florentine at that establishment, I had massive diarrhea attack with liquid stool 4 hours later. I had vomited twice with spinach coming out from my nose and blocking drain in my vanity. What a horrible experience!!! Apparently either canned spinach they use went bad, or some other ingredients were out of commission. Chicken itself was rubberish and tasteless. If you enjoying throwing up after your meal and occupying bathroom for few hours strait, then this place is for your culinary adventure. I called them later on same evening to share my experience, and all they could tell me is that owners is not there.

The service was friendly for the most part, but unfortunately inattentive. The staff only attended to us when they took our order and again when we were completely done with our food; disappointingly never once in between which I would have appreciated. We never even got our check brought to our table. After waiting ten minutes after they picked up our plates, we had to go to the counter to ask for our check & to pay our bill. The fresh squeezed orange juice was great along with my husbands' iced latte. The complimentary french bread they brought to our table was delightfully good. The ham and cheese crepe was enjoyable. The croissant was fine. The eggs Benedict was okay.

Service is a nightmare, unfortunately this was my first and last time! Ordered a quiche Lorraine, turkey Panini with a couple of chocolate croissants for take out and waited 40 mins. There were a maximum of two other tables which already received their meals and I was the only person waiting for take out, there's no reason it should have taken so long. The cashier also forgot my chocolate croissants and took another 5-10 minutes trying to figure out if I was charged, which I was by the way. The turkey Panini was pretty good and the quiche Lorraine was decent but honestly I don't think it's worth the frustration, staff needs to be more efficient.

Ok, Aventura diner was closed permanently. Came here instead. Looked promising, but unfortunately it was horrible. Server did not speak English or French, not even restaurant English or French. Order was wrong, like things were forgotten completely. Pancakes were burnt and pricey at almost 10 bucks for 2. Eggs Benedict was meager, the hollandaise sauce was good, bit the serving of potato was super skimpy. Never a refill on my coffee, or an offer for water. I would more than likely go for the hearty looking 6.99 2 egg breakfast. The sad thing here is that I know they know better. It has the feel that there is a fair bit of passion for there food. They just missed the boat this time. This visit gets 2 stars.

I went back on Monday (Fridays as well) for allyoucaneat mussels and they were pleantiful and good; I could taste the ocean but not any wine. The wait here is long I must say and the waitress didn't understand that I wanted seconds or misheard me or something, but we had a really long wait. The mussels are quite small and there is not enough broth, but for $16.00 it's ok. I took a bag of croissants home and they were right up there on my top 10 list. I think I'll come for breakfast the menu looks delightfully decadant.

This was my first time here and definitely not my last time. Wasn't in the mood for anything too heavy so I ordered Le Rendezvous sandwich that has fresh mozzarella, basil and delicious prosciutto. Not salty at all and very creamy. The baguette was freshly baked to perfection. Had the right amount of crunch without the jaw breaking feeling. Washed it all down with an Orangina. The ambience is really nice and actually reminded me a bit of Paris with the bistro and the cigarette smoke lol. Though a lot less smoke. Has both outdoor and indoor seating. Also has a bakery inside with other authentic French products but if the weather is right, sit outside. Rain or shine, outside is always nice. You're covered in case of rain. Overall, this place was great. Menu is simple but delicious. For the type of bistro like place, it gets high praise from me. Highly recommend and the staff is friendly and attentive. I'll come back for the mussels next time. C'est si bon!

Yummy breakfast but their macarons are not fresh, they tasted as though they were boxed and left open in a meat freezer!!

We love coming here for breakfast. My daughter and I love their eggs Benedict. The employees are very pleasant and laid back, common for french restaurants; which is something I really appreciate. We have eaten the all-you-can-eat mussels which they have Monday nights; for the price it's a great value, we ordered 2 servings each, on the particular Monday night only one server was waiting on all the tables and it was getting pretty full due to their all-you-can-eat special. Since this was our first time having dinner there we don't know if this is the norm.

We came to Rendez-Vous for a quick bite before we headed to the beach. Our original plan was to grab something to go, but after looking at the Breakfast menu we decided to dine in (on Sundays they serve breakfast until late). We ordered coffee, the Eggs Benedict, and the Sweet Crepe with Nutella(we're mildly addicted). Everything was delicious. Our favorite was the Benedict, the eggs were cooked perfectly, the English muffin was soft, and it was just perfect. The Crepe was simple but good. We added the homemade jelly (highly recommend doing this, just because the jelly is amazing!) Last but not least the service; everyone was very nice and our waiter, Jimmy was great! He is so sweet and attentive. I plan to go back and try the French Toast.

Horrible, awful!!!!!!!!!!!! Everything about my experience at this cafe was horrible. First, there was a fly in the showing case which was full of "fresh" croissants and deserts. I then proceeded to order 2 cups of coffee, one just black and the other an espresso drink, both drinks were not fresh, coffee was old and the codadito was disgusting, I then ordered a croissant, which the waiter told me was fresh and made daily. When the croissant arrived it was stale and crunchy and even included a hair. I returned it and was never given an apology by the poor food quality. My boyfriend order the French onion soup, which they had ran out of, so he switched to the ham and cheese crepe, which was god awful. A giant portion of melted cheese is what the entree should have been called. Gross, never returning, this place is one of the worst establishments I have ever been too.

My absolute favorite place to go for breakfast! Their croissants and freshly squeezed orange juice are a wonderful start to any day for me! I have been here for both breakfast and lunch and have loved it every time! I'm quite picky when it comes to the quality of food, but have never had any complaints here. Everything has always been fresh and has always put a smile on my face! I introduced my colleagues to their food and now get calls regularly to pick up breakfast for the entire office!

Amazing croissants and baguettes!! Homemade strawberry jam to go with. Delish!! And let's not forget the eggs Benedict. So good! Best breakfast in Aventura for sure. Simple, homemade. Yum.

Horrible service from the jump! We were standing in line waiting for a table and in come 3 lady's from their car walk in and take the table we were waiting for. When I spoke to the waiter he argued with me saying the the lady was sitting there for 20mins. I replied with if she was waiting for 20 minutes why did the bus boy just clean the table? He had nothing else to say! Needless to say we never got a table and left. Why eat somewhere were the staff will argue with you! We will definitely not be going back to this place!!

The food was okay but the service was slow. We came on a Saturday for brunch and it was pretty crowded but after taking our order no one came back to offer us a refill on water or coffee. We had to flag down a waiter to get the check. The French bread and jam that they give you before the meal is incredible. It was the best French bread I've ever had. If you don't want to eat here just stop by to pick some bread up. It was the best part of the meal. The eggs Benedict were good but by the time they were brought to our table they were cold. The scrambled eggs were also cold. The potatoes were very good but the serving size was really small. I would consider coming back for lunch or dinner and giving this place another shot when they are not so crowded but I wouldn't go back for breakfast. The best parts of the meal were the bread and the fresh squeezed orange juice.

This place is a little hole in the wall restaurant that has a lot to offer. The owner is super nice and the servers are very friendly. The server speaks English, Spanish, and French. I think she might speak another language. However, I don't exactly remember. I think this is cool because you can relate to a lot more people. Food brings all sorts of people together and it's nice that she can communicate with so many of them. They are very accessible and quite welcoming. Highlights of this restaurant are: chocolate trilogy desert and the carrot soup. Until I tried it here, I did not like carrot soup.

Just moved from California to NMB , and been craving for a true breakfast place. Been to a lot of places and often get greasy food. Saw the news a couple of weeks ago that a restaurant got robbed near where I live and instantly I wanted to go the next day and support them. Well, Im here and Rendevouz is awesome!. Super friendly, cozy seating, and great american euro food. ,

Small breakfast place. Everything we ordered were delicious. The eggs benedict are to die for, that hollandaise sauce was amazing. The cappuccino were also amazing, I had two cups. And the bread were also delicious with their home made jelly. I would definitely come back if I have a chance. It's a place to check out.

Amazing croissants...probably the best I've had in the states. Tilapia is outstanding and fresh strawberry jelly is so good. Pastries look great. The service was impeccable!! I've passed this place for years and never thought much of stopping in and now I can't imagine not having a bite here. This has to be one of the best places to eat in Aventura.

This place is right around the corner from where we live, so we decided to skip out on the NY-type deli/diners (Mo's and Bagel Cove) and check this place out instead. My boyfriend and I both ordered the custom omelette ($8.50 for 3 ingredients) which includes a croissant or french baguette. I opted for the croissant and it was heavenly. Flaky, sweet and perfect. What we figured would be a short stay, turned into a wait of over 30 minutes. Our waitress eventually came over to tell us that they completely forgot our order and that is was on its way, but that we could have a dessert on the house. Thankfully the food was good, and so was the dessert. Our waitress included not one free dessert but three! I could tell she was genuinely sorry for the mishap and we still ended up giving a decent tip. We really wanted to like this place, so even though the service could've been better, we'll probably come back to try one of their sandwiches.

Yep! And they have awesome breakfast! Mushiboo had a croissant with bacon and eggs. They used Swiss cheese and it actually tasted really great! Tell them to get 36 of their best pastries boxed and ready in 5 minutes. Done! Thank you Rendez-Bous Bakery!
The food is good, better than average. The pastries are great, especially the croissants. They also have one of the best brownies around. The service is pretty poor and cost them 2 stars. The servers just seem flustered and not very happy to be there. Overall, I want to like this place more... But they need to step it up.

Really glad we came across this place. Good quality food at good prices. I had a grilled chicken sandwich, served with brie on a bagguette. Came with cole slaw, which was all very tastey. Overall, nice vibe and good food at good prices. I will return at some point.
Love this place! Great tasting coffee and delicious croissant breakfasts! Servers seem a bit frazzled and maybe straining to smile while speaking English but hey, "A" for effort. What they dont deliver in authentic smiles the do deliver in authentically good food. IMO much better than Paul. Kinda tight inside and the outdoor seating gets a little warm in the summer time, but overall a great place to eat.

This is a place that I enjoy early on the weekends. It is snug back in the corner of a strip mall; next to a Brazilian clothing store, and I think a light bulb store. They make a wonderful latte and that is just the start of it. I usually stop by once a month, and make sure to have either the French Toast, or at least a chocolate croissant. They are also wonderful to their deserts. I have a couple of times bought a few cakes for events at home. I also find myself leaving with a baguette to bread for a late night snack. I would really recommend this restaurant for a breakfast that is fair on price and tastes great.

I used to go here all the time before the place was sold. Now it is new owners they raised the prices, and changed the menu. It used to be quite a hang out back in the day. Everyone would bring their dogs, sit outside grab a coffee and brunch or a light salad. Now it is just not the same.

My wife and I started out breakfast with a latte and orange juice. The coffee was delicious and the foam on the drink pretty thick. The orange juice was fresh and pulpy. I ordered the omelete and my wife the three eggs Benedict with spinach, ham, and salmon on one of each of the three. Apparently, the omellette came with a French baguette which was hot and phenomenal. Came with butter and strawberry jam. It was the best bread I have had in Florida. The spinach eggs Benedict and salmon version were delicious. The ham was a bit thick cut, so that version of the eggs Benedict was not as good (i generally do not like ham anyway). The omellete was large, tasty, and not greasy at all. Overall, if the coffee drinks were bigger and cheaper, I would be here multiple times a week. As is, once a week. The signage of the restaurant is a bit run down, but.don't let that fool you, these French restauranteurs know how to run a great place that is clean, tasty, and affordable. Best breakfast I have had in Miami area. good, not great, outdoor seating, as well as indoor.

I was truly surprised by this lovely spot. And amazed that I had never heard of it before.... hidden in an old strip mall, the food and service were really good. French baguette and croissants that were divine! A woderful breakfast option in Aventura.

I truly love this place. Where do I begin? The Mussels, the fries, the baguette, the croissants, the deserts, even their burgers are delicious and now they have added gelatto; just great. My favorite meal is the Veal Blanquette which comes with salad, scented rice or potatoes "au gratin" which are amazing but you can pretty much ask for any side they have. I love the elegant yet relaxed atmosphere in the place. Everything is possible, they really do try to please. The breakfast is also great, we usually share an omlette since they make them so large. The only drawback is that they do a Sunday Brunch and close early (around 4pm I think) on those days. I recommend this place for a first date or a casual 2nd date; it's just that cute. Consider going Monday nights for all-you-can-eat Mussels with fries; delicious and worth it.

One of the best places to have breakfast in Aventura. The chocolate croissants are amazing as well as the desserts. The service has improved with the new owners and the menu has a good selection to choose from. Everything they have at the bakery is always fresh.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE on Biscayne Blvd! I found this place on Yelp, quaint and cute, was looking forward to a delicious breakfast. After asking the owner how the seating worked (wanted to sit outside) and was directed by her to sit wherever I'd like and they'd be right out to help me... I sat for 15 min before being acknowledged. When the server finally came, no apologies, asked me what I'd like to drink, I ordered water and she gave me the menu, I perused the menu and made my selection in 2 mins, my water took another 5 to get to me, I took up my bag, removed the napkin from my lap and drove away to experience a delicious meal with GREAT service. I'd NEVER recommend this place, or at least eat before you go, because you may just have an incredibly long wait.

Propably the only place in Miami where you can have couscous (the moroccan dish, not the cereal..). The tilapia is excellent, mussels also. Breakfast always good. I only wish they would renew their menu once in a while

My husband, toddler and I had breakfast this morning at Rendez-Vous. 5 stars all the way. I had the Rendez-Vous breakfast, which was a delicious egg sandwich served in a croissant. It was piled high with eggs, cheese, tomatoes and bacon. Granted, I used up my calorie allotment for the day before 9:00 am, but it was well worth it. The service was fantastic. We were checked on often. When we asked for a cup of water for our little one, it was served to him in a sippy cup. That's mighty nice and thoughtful of the owner. I have only been there for breakfast, but I really want to check them out for lunch and dinner.

This french bakery is excellent for breakfast. The fresh baguettes and croissants are delicious. The service is not attentive, exactly as in France, but to eat the delicious croque monsieur you don't need to be spoiled by the waiter. I give it 5 stars, but not to convince you to go there, since it is a very small place and if you go, I can have to wait to get a table...

Their croissant is delicious! The food, not so much. I'd go back for baked goods, but would not give their food another try. Tried three dishes and the french onion soup, none were good.

Love coming to this small french place for breakfast. Eggs Benedict are so delicious here. I like their pastries too. A great overall experience.

(3)Mike M.
(4)Samual D.
The food is always very good. It is difficult to order something you won't enjoy. The service is often relaxed, so don't be in a hurry.

The breakfast was delicious. The eggs benedict trio was a great choice. The food is fresh and well seasoned.

(1)Melissa N.
Super delish baguettes! Nice French environment and good service. Coffee was nice, had the omelette but was expecting for more from a French place.
(3)Zuzel T.
Felt like I was in France, the food is very tasty, basically I wanted French food and I got it, thanks very much
(5)Amanda S.
(5)Shareen B.
Amazing croissants and baguettes!! Homemade strawberry jam to go with. Delish!! And let's not forget the eggs Benedict. So good! Best breakfast in Aventura for sure. Simple, homemade. Yum.
(4)Lissette R.
(1)Tee D.
Sometimes the food here is amazing, sometimes its just ok. They definately have a consistance issue.
(3)Gianna K.
(3)Martin M.

Super friendly, cozy seating, and great american euro food. ,
(5)Jinxy H.
If you are in a rush, this is NOT the place for you. It is very popular, everything is homemade and its French, so European style service. Delicious eggs Benedict, crepes, bread, pastries. Yummy
(5)Dennis M.
Breakfast is really good, but service is inattentive. Be prepared to constantly look for your waiter and ask for things. Have been twice, and regular service seems to be the norm.
(3)Aziz A.
I had breakfast ( Omlite) and it was very good. I really recommend this place to have your breakfast.
(5)David W.
Slooooow service.30 minutes for a simple salad and a sandwich. Both orders came wrong. 2 times wrong. No apologizes from the french arrogant owner. Poor waitress...she died of shame
(1)Maureen F.
The service is horrible! Came on a Sunday late morning. It wasn't overly crowded. Our children hates the food. The French toast was soggy. I enjoyed the Benedict Trio was very good. I would not come back based on my poor experience.
(1)joe b.
Excellent! Small, unassuming, everything is fresh! Excellent crepes, eggs Benedict, slightly garlicky potatoes. Baguette fresh out of the oven! Nom nom nom
(5)Julie V.
(5)Facundo B.
A Little French place in the heart of Aventura. Food taste like real food!!!! Excellent place for a good brunch. French baguette fresh and crunchy!!!!
(5)Talisha M.
(5)Vanessa P.
(3)Myra C.
The eggs Benedict trio is Delish!
(4)Rich B.
Yep! And they have awesome breakfast! Mushiboo had a croissant with bacon and eggs. They used Swiss cheese and it actually tasted really great! Tell them to get 36 of their best pastries boxed and ready in 5 minutes. Done! Thank you Rendez-Bous Bakery!
(4)Saul V.
simple great! Amazing bakery and french desserts! I love it. I hope they move to a bigger and more beautiful place, they deserve it! Eugenia Méndez
(5)David C.
The food is good, better than average. The pastries are great, especially the croissants. They also have one of the best brownies around. The service is pretty poor and cost them 2 stars. The servers just seem flustered and not very happy to be there. Overall, I want to like this place more... But they need to step it up.
(2)Carlos P.
Really glad we came across this place. Good quality food at good prices. I had a grilled chicken sandwich, served with brie on a bagguette. Came with cole slaw, which was all very tastey. Overall, nice vibe and good food at good prices. I will return at some point.
(4)Tony R.
Very good food at reasonable prices. Tucked in a corner of a non-descript shopping center, this place is worth a shot...and then some. We went for dinner, sat outside and started with an excellent pâté with greens, tomatoes. Plenty for two. We had the lamb shank with couscous and vegetables and the rib eye steak for entrees. Both perfectly prepared with generous portions. Glasses of Bordeaux also fairly priced. No room for desert....this time. We will be back. Recommended.
(4)D S.
(5)Kevin Z.
(3)Alissa W.
I used to go here all the time before the place was sold. Now it is new owners they raised the prices, and changed the menu. It used to be quite a hang out back in the day. Everyone would bring their dogs, sit outside grab a coffee and brunch or a light salad. Now it is just not the same.
(3)Carlos L.
Great food, service excellent. Owner there making sure staff is on top of things. I love supporting businesses that care. See you soon. Try eggs benedict!!!!!!!
(5)Donna M.
Delicious breakfast. Eggs benedict was great, pancakes light, breakfast sandwich big and tasty. Great service. Will def be back!
(5)Mercie C.
Tasty, tasty, tasty!! Omelette's were enjoyed by all, eggs Benedict so good, croissant breakfast sandwich was huge and so very yummy!!!
(5)Lauryn G.
My favorite is the tomato basil soup with the caesar salad! I have it every time I go and I've ordered it for parties and was a big hit!
(5)Andy D.
(5)Kat A.
I was truly surprised by this lovely spot. And amazed that I had never heard of it before.... hidden in an old strip mall, the food and service were really good. French baguette and croissants that were divine! A woderful breakfast option in Aventura.
(5)Gissell S.
(5)Joha I.
One of the best places to have breakfast in Aventura. The chocolate croissants are amazing as well as the desserts. The service has improved with the new owners and the menu has a good selection to choose from. Everything they have at the bakery is always fresh.
(4)Denique B.
(1)michelle B.
Amazing pastries! Try the chocolate and coffee thingie or the triple chocolate thingie. Who cares what its called its fricken incredible!
(5)Jayel D.
Propably the only place in Miami where you can have couscous (the moroccan dish, not the cereal..). The tilapia is excellent, mussels also. Breakfast always good. I only wish they would renew their menu once in a while
(4)Elana M.
(5)Fabio L.
(5)Chiyon Y.
Their croissant is delicious! The food, not so much. I'd go back for baked goods, but would not give their food another try. Tried three dishes and the french onion soup, none were good.
