This is a charming place with luxurious rooms, enormous and inviting common areas, and lots of extra touches. Someone spent a fortune remodeling this lovely old house, and all the guest rooms are beautifully appointed, each with a different theme. We were in the suite, including three rooms stretching across the second floor fronting historic Oak Street, and including a balcony. We had a large bedroom with four poster bed, a large sitting room and a huge bathroom with 2-person jacuzzi tub and separate shower. A mostly decorative imitation fireplace with the appearance of logs and flames added to the coziness of the room on a cool Florida day. We had everything we could need. I really liked the " housekeeping " area on the second floor, a large open hall with all sorts of extras like wine glasses, a full sized fridge for guest use, some utensils, washing machines and dryers, etc. For breakfast we got cards with $6.00 of credit each that were good for either Wheelers or the coffee shop directly across from the Inn. That covered omelets at Wheelers for us. We really liked innkeeper Tony, she was very hospitable and helpful, and showed us all the rooms that were not occupied the night we were there, which was most of them, because it was an off weekend in Arcadia. We would love to come back again some time.
