Aw come on! I really want to like this place :-/ Food was good today. But service could have been better - They were out of iced tea and took their own sweet time with getting refills. Also no lemon slices available and tables were dirty..I think this chipotle is a victim of its success - too many people and maybe not staffed enough?

And they are back to forgetting to thaw their frozen corn or salsa or cheese or something before serving it. It's mind boggling. This is the only Chipotle in the world that can't figure out that a burrito shouldn't leave your fingers feeling cold and wet when you eat it. I'm not exaggerating.

Who tries to take food from a baby? Chipotle apparently. We have a four year-old who is allergic to dairy. We love the concept and food. But this time was strange. We ordered our usual single taco for our son. All on the side we ask: Carnitas, rice, beans and... mild salsa!? How could we? Well, since he cannot have cheese, we give him a side of tomatoes, which he may eat one or two bits. This Chipotle wanted to charge us for the salsa. First time we have ever felt like we have did something wrong. By the way none of the sides were placed on the side, my husband gave up trying to get this order right. We hope this is isolated because Apopka is limited with food options. Typically, they over spice their meat making your mouth unbearably hot. This time it seemed they had left the seasoning off all together.

Seriously the worst customer service!! There's a whole line nearly out the door and half the staff is standing around doing nothing while the other half is working on massive called in orders. Waited for over 30 mins. Not even an apology from the staff.

I love the brand of chipotle first off! Most of the time they are perfect but this location for the second time has given me sub par product. This past time my burrito tore and they double wrapped it? Which wouldn't matter if it was because there was too much food in it but it wasn't. Which brings u to my other problem... In even or consistent amounts of ingredients...I got more beans than rice and then a lot of tomatoes that made it soggy! I just hope their staff ups their game

Yes, we are back again today. It's less busy. And always, nice! Music a little loud today, but I think we are too close to the speakers! Chicken bowl, tortilla on the side and sweet tea!

Looks like everyone is in agreement, 3 stars for this new Chipotle in Apopka. It is smaller than most I have been in, and the decor seems even more rustic than other locations I frequent, but it is nice to have one somewhat close to home. I have been twice now, and I'm not sure who seasons the meat, but both trips the steak and chicken were unusually spicy, although not a big complaint for me, as I like spicy food. In the trips I have made here, the potion size seems to have improved a bit from where other reviewers have mentioned in the earlier days right after grand opening. I completely agree with others as well, with the seating arrangement being a bit cramped, so we sat outside on both of our trips. I truly hope this means that they might consider opening a store down further into the heart of Apopka, but for now, it's nice to have one on the outskirts.

I was excited to try the new Chipotle in Apopka. We had an early dinner one night and were less than impressed. I'm adding a star for the wonderful business model Chipotle has- humane treatment of animals, most of then hormone/antibiotic free with a nice dose of local/organic veggies. You can eat here and still feel good about yourself. As for this specific location... The girl assembling our order was forgetful- she kept asking things we'd already told her. She was slow and her assembly skills sucked. I could have done a better job! My burrito was HUGE, however, about the size of a small football. It was enough for two meals. We got a side of somewhat stale chips that were prebagged and not warm or fresh at all. I thought overall my burrito was kind of bland- I'm not into spicy food but it just seemed to lack flavor. I think that Qdoba has better flavored food than Chipotle. I agree with others that the inside looks unfinished. I know that's the look they are going for but it's a little lazy. When one wall is just plain plywood, well, it leaves something to be desired. They were also playing this obnoxiously LOUD music in various languages. We dined in but I couldn't wait to get out of there!

I go to this location at least 4 times a week and get good service and great food. The dining area is clean, everything in the drink area is stocked and they make the tea right, which is a big deal to me. Highly recommended.

Love this location. They are prompt and give generous portions. Always smiling! Wish the dining area was larger-- but that has nothing to do with the food/staff! So happy you opened in Apopka!

The food is always good, which I would give 5 stars. This location though the service here and friendliness I have experience better, staff seem preoccupied with other things. Such as a while back when I notified the counter there was no running water in the restroom, they just looked at me lifeless and said nothing. Kind of serious for a restaurant! But this last visit I asked for the "Veggie taco". Then I was asked what type of meat on it. Told him it was vegetarian so there is no meat on it. They were out of several things like mild an medium salsa too, think they could step it up.

I definitely agree with Daniel M, this location has improved significantly since it first opened. I've probably eaten here about 50 times and only once have I ever had an employee that was rude and impatient with me. I spoke with the manager Amanda about the situation and she assured me that he wouldn't be around much longer. She was also nice enough to offer me a free meal with chips and a drink even though I told her that it wasn't necessary, she insisted that the next time I come in my meal would be comped. I really appreciate how professionally she handled the situation and because of that, I will certainly be coming back.

A Chipotle has graced us here in Apopka and it's sour-cream-smack-dab-in-the-middle (or really to the side) of my favorite plaza, the Riverwalk. (Although sadly, there is no river. But there is a Marshall's and my favorite sushi place.) The location was previously a Blockbuster if I remember correctly. It is a little smaller than most Chipotle locations because I guess they thought it would have medium-ish traffic since it's at the edge of little Apopka. I haven't been there during the day yet, but going there just an hour before closing showed that people came through the door every five minutes. Go on Chipotle, with your bad selves. But I hope you find more places for tables in there. You can tell that many of the staff members have not actually enjoyed the blessings of Chipotle before. The portions given were so tiny and we had to ask for more. I'd like to see a crazed Chipotle fan set up all new Chipotles and make sure things are going right. Another example: with my husband's burrito bowl, they used the inside of the bowl to scrape the guac off the spoon instead of shaking it off. Sure that's no big deal, but haven't experienced that at Chipotle before. It looked kind of crazy with the green goodness smeared everywhere. (What if you want to hold your burrito bowl close to your heart? You would stain your shirt.) And my steak, while fresh off the grill, was way too raw. I ended up eating everything in my bowl except for the meat. I love Chipotle for their steak, but only when it's a little pink. What I'm saying is: It's Chipotle so it's always awesome. But for this location, give them a few more weeks before you visit.

I was overly excited when I saw this Chipotle was opened in Apopka (we're desperate to have something new in this town). I visited right when they opened up. The chicken was under spiced. When the gentleman asked me if everything was ok I told him about the bird with "zero kick". At that point he suggested I tried the steak. I corrected myself and said I'm comparing your food to the other stores.. it doesn't taste as good. He admitted at that point that he hadn't visited the other locations. Really??? So we waited.. maybe about another month. We visited over the weekend and I had a vegetarian burrito bowl. I thought they couldn't POSSIBLY mess that up. The vegetables in my portion were stone cold and tasted "off". My stomach has been paying for it since Sunday night. I have contact corporate regarding this issue. Until they get their act together I suggest you keep on driving to the Altamonte or Winter Garden location.

Well, nothing has changed since my last review of this place. Dined there yesterday about 4:00pm 5 diners in the place, yet I waited almost 5 mins for my order to be taken. 6 people behind the counter but only 1 to take orders (I guess). They must have had a hell of a lunch rush because the place was really dirty. Even the a lot of the tables had not been cleaned. SMDH

The staff was very friendly. I've never been to one before and my husband took me there for dinner. I was so confused! The staff there took their time to explain everything to me. They made recommendations and let me taste food before I ordered it. Awesome place!

This location is overly small and also arranged horribly. The spacing of the tables and chairs provides ample room between them, but also not much seating. The arrangement of the seating is very odd compared to any of the other Chipotles I've been to here in town. I reckon things won't change here for a while, being that they just opened and won't remodel anytime soon, but it is not as aesthetically pleasing as other Chipotles. Having toned-down environs due to mundane metal and wood is easy enough to deal with as it is at least serviceable. Arranging this type of setup as they have, makes it discomforting. Unlike the other review, I found portions on-par with other Chipotles. Also, it seems they have a much larger and nicer kitchen here compared to the one in Altamonte. I liked the fact that I could see them hand-cutting over 20 avocados on a prep-table in the back. At least that means they make it fresh and it isn't out of some package.
