Just horrible. Don't let the pictures on the website or the new building fool you like they did me. The entire restaurant had a very strong bleach smell (at least it was clean). The buffett didn't have much that actually resembled chinese food. What they did have was dripping in grease. I ended up eating a plate of white rice with butter just to get full because I couldn't stomach anything else. My husband who is known for his iron stomach even felt sick after eating here. Never again.

Disgusting. I wouldn't feed this food to my 2 dogs! Over-priced, old food sitting out or probably recycled. Would not recommend to anyone.

This will be are second attempt At Asian fusion Buffet. We found a double take deal and decided to go check out this place in the beginning. The first visit did not go so well the food was very mediocre but the service was the same as it was on our second visit the waitresses are very nice. We couldn't really figure out what they were fusing other than like New York strip and french fries tossed into the buffet area so nothing was really like actually fused, there were a few dishes that were interesting but nothing was Asian fused with something other than Asian. Just a typical Asian buffet here sushi Grill and full-sized serving area and some dessert. Me and my wife both decided that the last visit we had compared to the second visit we made tonight there was a big improvement With customer service and the quality of the food. We went back three times to the buffet and every time we went back we noticed the manager was very adamant and getting on top of the Cooks and staff to make sure that everything was going out correctly. This business seems to try to attract most of their business online so they may have seen either yelp reviews or other reviews and are possibly trying to change. Overall experience wasn't too bad the second time will give it one more shot for next time!

I dined in this place during a road trip. i wasn't giving it high expectation, but it did surprise me in a good way. The place is new and roomy. They have a variety of food including Chinese, sushi, bbq, and seafood. Quality is OK. It's not a place to have a fine dinner of course, but it definitely deserves what you paid for.

Not so great....better when first opened. Has gone downhill. A few visits ago I saw bug on sushi Buffett...thought it might be one time thing...then tonight bug in salt shaker. ...uh huh can't eat here anymore...most food mediocre anyway...cold too...too bad was clean and fresh and good when it first opened.

We decided to come here instead of going to Genghis. We were happy to hear they also have crab legs when we called. All I can say is the appearance is not bad and the grilled food we got was not bad-the vegetables were fresh. But, everything else was pretty scary right down to the cold frail crab legs. Hope they step it up because it is convenient and friendly.

This is a brand new restaurant that opened about 7 months ago in part of a shopping center that sat vacant for about 4 years. I visited for dinner last Friday (2/10/12) with 4 family members. What a variety! They've got something for everybody. We found the food to be fresh and tasty. It included shrimp cocktail and raw tuna and salmon (sushi). The friendly waitstaff was proficient and promptly cleared our dirty dishes and kept our beverage glasses full. The restaurant is clean (including the spacious bathrooms). In my view the restaurant provided very good value for the money.

I go there often to grab a quick bite. Clean, good selection, responsive staff. Good place to go when you are in a hurry and don't want to do the typical fast food.

There really isn't any "Fusion" about this place. I should have known to walk away when there were only 2 other people eating here on a Sunday night at dinner time. There is no ambiance, which would be ok, but they don't maintain the restaurant. The vinyl on my booth was totally worn out. The tables are not clean, nor was the carpeting. I'm pretty sure the food was left over from lunch. The food was VERY greasy, to the point of being nasty. All of the meat was tough, and greasy as well. There are a LOT of restaurants in the Apollo Beach are. I highly suggest looking elsewhere. 16 dollars is a lot to spend on low quality food.

Food is placed haphazardly. I have food allergies so when i see a buffet that places shrimp or oysters next to a popular dish like sesame chicken, i cant eat there. I cant trust the kitchen to order a la cart either. My husband ate a number of things all of which he said were bad and then 15 minutes later threw it all up. So yeah... won't ever be back. Kinda shocked that with the amount of bad reviews they haven't improved. Theyve been closed by the health dept twice. Yikes and oy vey!

Terrible place to eat. Food not good at all. It did have lots of variety but everything I tried was subpar. Funny thing the place seems pretty new from the outside but feels run down inside.. it was clean though I'll give them that but that's the only nice thing I can say.

This place is the worst place you could go for chinese food. My wife and I are now suffering from food poisoning and the food was awful. We just found out today they were recently shut down by the health department temporarily. If you ask me i feel it should be shut down for good.

Don't let that catchy name fool you. This is a Chinese Buffet. It offers Chinese, Japanese, Korean and American cuisine. If you want to call that fusion so be it. The place is quite large with two dining areas separated by the Buffett area. There are lots of choices. You can even do the Korean BBQ thing by building your dinner in a bowl and then have it cooked. Didn't try that but here's what I did try. Hot and Sour Soup - this was just ok, nothing special Chilled Snow Crab Legs and Peel and Eat Shrimp - not expecting much here but I was pleasantly surprised how good the crab was. Very fresh and very good. The shells weren't cracked so you had to be creative getting the meat out. The shrimp weren't as good and fresh as the crab. Lo mien - this is as good a lo mien as your going to find around here, not great, not bad. Pot stickers - I absolutely love pot stickers. Stay away from these.....not good. Sweet and Sour Chicken - you make it yourself from the ingredients on the steam table, meh. Pepper Beef - one of my fav's and this wasn't bad, the beef was tender and not all gristly, lots of bell peps and onions. Broccoli Chicken - not a bad dish, lots of white meat chicken Black Pepper Beef - not quite peppery enough but not bad, a lot like the other pepper beef. Coconut Shrimp - this was more like walnut shrimp than coconut shrimp, either way, not good. There were lots of other choices, almost too many but you can sample a wide variety of dishes. I finished with ice cream that you self dip from a freezer....bonus green tea ice cream which was very good. Service was fine but like all buffets you do most of the work. The iced tea tasted like tea...a plus. Dinner buffet comes in at $13.99 plus drinks. I wouldn't come back here on my own but if the wife wants to, it's ok, I'll manage.

A friend bought me dinner here for an early birthday present. Since I requested all-you-can-eat sushi, she drove us to Asian Fusion Buffet. They had a decent selection of sushi that tasted fresh. I also liked that they had a Hibachi grill, six choices of ice cream (I mostly had coffee flavored) and a good selection of other foods. The restaurant itself was clean. One of the better Asian buffets out there.

Maybe I am spoiled by the restaurants in Tampa, but it was just a nice Chinese buffet with a VERY limited amount of "Fusion" involved. Excellent service but I would not go any higher than average for food quality.

I have only ate here once and the food was slightly above average. However we ship regularly at sweet bay (now win Dixie ) and the day after we ate there we were driving by the backside and they had a bunch of neat sitting outside on a push cart thawing I assume. Birds were all around it. Have not been back since.

I enjoy buffet restaurants and Chinese food and I had heard good things about this place. I can honestly say that I was impressed. Most buffets have a hard time keeping fresh food on the line or keeping everything up to temperature. This place has it all figured out. Everything was good, and everything was hot. The staff was friendly and attentive. Yes, it was a bit more expensive than the average buffet but it was worth it. We will be going back.

We heard this was a great buffet so my Wife and I went and tried it out. They have a very large selection of food to choose from . We went on a Tuesday evening and they were not busy. Most of the food was good but the Prime Rib was a little on the tough side. There was not much to choose from for deserts. The waiter picked up plates but was not very attentive other then that. After we left and read the flyer we picked up at the counter we saw they offer a 10% Senior discount but that was not offered to us and we would not need to show ID! LOL Over all it is not bad and we might just try it again.

Someone told me this resturant was good, so after 8 months of living in Apollo Beach I decided to try it out. Now, I know why I put off a visit here, if you like good food skip this place. I tried several items and the only positive I left with is the green beans are ok. When will someone open a decent resturant in this area? It's a shame really.

Thought it was way too pricey for the quality and selection, sad, had high hopes, go to Sakura instead!

As the rating says 3 stars + A OK restaurant. Yup, just ok. I have no idea what they mean by fusion other than it sounds good in their name. Mostly Chinese, a little sushi and a hibachi grill. The restaurant is large and clean and the choices are plentiful. Sushi tasted fresh, "Crab casserole" was fake crab (hate that stuff) but the chilled tiny crab legs were good if you want to spend all that time for tiny pieces of crab. Too many other choices to mention. It was just ok. But at $13.79 for all you can eat (extra for your drink) not a bad price. Lots of fresh fruit, ice cream, puddings and a few other desserts to finish off your meal. If we go back again, I think I will stick to the sushi, try the hibachi, and struggle with the chilled crab !

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
