The beer is great and the barmaid too ;) The food is coming. And the food is average. Leave Falafel for lebanese or isreali cuisine guys ;) Anyway, if you're visting the area one day, this pub is surely a good address for a night out.

Went in for dinner on a Sunday, waited 2 hours to get food after ordering. The waiter forgot to order an entree. Food came out in Togo boxes even though we didn't order them Togo. 3 other tables came in after we sat down, all got their food before we did and paid and left before our Togo boxes came out. Terrible experience. Don't recommend this place.

We walked in at 8:30pm to find an after dinner drink- we picked the wrong place. Upon entering, my husband was groped by a drunk couple dancing in the middle of the room. We hurriedly found a back table, but were unable to see the beer list from our table. A bartender- a man in basketball shorts and a Columbia shirt, who I wouldn't have known was a bartender if he hadn't approached my table- asked me what I wanted. When I asked him what they had on tap, he sighed like I was a bother and then finally conceded that I couldn't see the beer list from where I was and began to recite it for me. I stopped him when I heard they had a chocolate porter and asked him if he recommended it and if I'd like it- he said "I don't know, I don't know you", but then offered to bring me a sample. Despite his rudeness, the beer was great and I ordered one ($5). The live music was good but so loud we had to shout to speak to each other. I asked for the bill and we paid with a twenty. The Colombia shorts guy came back with three fives and five ones- he had given us our whole twenty back in change. I am honest to a fault, so I walked to the bar and gave him $6 and told him he didn't charge us. He rolled his eyes, turned his back on me, and put the money in the till. No thank you, no acknowledgement. We hurriedly left and plan never to return. Two stars, only because the beer was good.

I arrived after riding my motorcycle for over 8 hours! needles to say that the beer was heaven on earth! the bar lady Britney.. was a sweetheart and gorgeous too! later on that evening i had dinner that Daniel ( the chef and owner) cooked to perfection! the fish was to die for and the atmosphere was very pleasant .. two guys going a kayak trip from ( a very far away land) decided to the on the stage and play so really funny tunes! overall , I highly recommend this please if you are in town..

It was a treat to see another eatery pop up in Apalach, but I think Tamara's Tapas Bar still needs a bit of work. We stopped in on a Friday evening while we were up in the area for vacation. The place was pretty empty, but it wasn't much past 7 PM yet, but there was a great female musician on the little stage. We were promptly seated and had our order taken. We got a couple teas and the cheese board. Well, we ordered the cheese board. The server apparently didn't hear us or forgot to put it in. When we ordered some other tapas and had them come out without the cheese board, we discovered that it never was put in. Anyhow, we had the wonton shrimp, which were yummy. My husband got the prosciutto wrapped asparagus, which was also good but could've used a little more prosciutto. The cheese board finally arrived, but it didn't have all the cheeses listed on the menu. They also put a ridiculous amount of bleu cheese on it, which definitely isn't a cheese that I like eating large slabs of. A little bleu goes a long way. It came with some mass produced crackers (meh), as well as a few slices of strawberries and tangerines. The quality of the cheese was pretty good, but I missed the Gruyere that was advertised. This menu item really needs some work. We are spoiled by the excellent cheese boards served at Ceviche here in Tampa, so we hold the bar pretty high. We also ordered a couple tacos. My husband had the Cuban pork, and I had the soft shell crab. Both had great flavor, but the Cuban ones were a bit unwieldy because of the absurd amount of sauce on them. The tortillas were just soaked. The soft shell crab, though, was something I would order again in a heartbeat. The cabbage on them added a nice contrast in texture to the crab, and the wasabi aioli was a lovely complement. On the night we visited, there was a good size group of young women, but they had brought a small pack of children with them. That wouldn't have been an issue had the kids not proceeded to run up and down the length of the place hard enough to make the floor bounce. Annoying! Not a real fan of small children in bars, especially when they are let loose to disturb other patrons.

We went on a Saturday night that wasn't very busy. I had the fried oysters and they were soggy and not very good at all. My husband had the paella which was fantastic though.

The service was really overwhelmed because the place was full. But it wasn't busy enough to justify how inattentive the service was. We ordered tapas and then tacos, and only got the tacos. And they were cold. Kids all over the place which is weird for a bar--shouldn't they be in the sister restaurant next door? Bars are for adults.

Stopped in and ordered takeout because we were late arriving in town and road weary. Servers were prompt and courteous but running around frantically. I would rate this little place higher but they need leadership and training. The menu is nice, not cluttered and has some variety. Just remember that it's a bar with food so don't expect fine dining. We do like the place, it just needs a work flow and procedures adjustment to take it to a higher level.
