Yum. Good food, quick service, reasonable prices. Better quality than most take out places. Lots of meat, fresh vegetables, and good flavor. Definitely a new regular place for me.

Make sure you check that you receive what you order here. They get into a hurry sometimes and give you the wrong flavor of food.

The food is mediocre, portions are much smaller than other Chinese restaurants and the lunch specials are about $1.50 more than other Chinese restaurants.

So I'm reviewing a Chinese Take-out place... don't judge me! This is my neighborhood chinese place and it's where i go. It looks like every other chinese take-out place with the same sun-bleached menu on the wall, and the same generic menu on the counter. So what, it's a chinese take-out place! Get over it! As long my food is fried crisp and tossed around on that greasy wok with fresh veggies... I'm in! This place does the job.

My neighborhood Chinese place. Takeout from here weekly! Good food, nice people. Mainly a takeout place. Lots of menu choices! Their shrimp dishes are excellent!

My family was craving Chinese food. So they ordered from here. I'm super picky about Chinese food so I didn't order anything of my own, I wanted to see how their orders looked and tasted first. Looked and tasted fresh. I tried the Sweet & Sour Chicken, which was hot and perfectly crispy without being greasy and the Chicken Lo Mein. The chicken actually looked like chicken. Not overly drenched in seasoning and sauces. To the comments about it being "bland" I think they must be used to Chinese food with msg and really heavy flavors. This actually tasted like lite Chinese food. I don't eat Chinese food often but I would order from here again.

If you suffer from epilepsy be careful coming in here. 6 of the fluorescent bulbs are strobing bad enough to trigger a epileptic seizure. I say they add a fog machine and some lighting and toss in some techno and break beats music and you have your first chinese theme club/restaurant. The food is better then PF changs, who needs a fancy restaurant for average Chinese food when you can get it here. I was going to rate 4 stars but I live 1.4 miles away. There's no excuse for the ribs to be cold. lo mein was hot. ribs should of at least been warm...especially since I ordered there and waited. but really its just your typical Chinese take out. pretty authentic. the cooks are all Asian the guy mopping the floor was Mexican. it doesnt get any more authentic then that :-)

It was a cold evening last night and I didn't feel very well so I thought why not order food in? I went to yelp and found Hong Kong restaurant. This restaurant is quite close to my house and I thought perfect solution! Yelp said that it delivered and so I called the phone number...a dispassionate young lady answered the phone and when I asked for delivery she said,,,nothing it was silence on the line while I heard quite a bit of chatter in the background, I said hello are you still there and after a moment she said yes you must spend $25 for us to deliver. Even though I was ordering for two people and I'm not a big eater I thought okay that's fine I'll order enough for lunch tomorrow I understand gas is expensive. I placed my order for two combo meals, a small vegetable fried rice, I tried to order sautéed green beans which was on the menu and she informed me that they did not carry those anymore. Okay so in order to reach the $25 mark I ordered some crab Rangoon who doesn't love those right? I then proceeded to give her detailed directions on how to get to my house, I am on the corner between two streets to me very simple. Well An hour went by and I heard nothing so I called back to the restaurant, the young lady tells me that the delivery person has already left and that's all she knows. I finally went to my porch and flipped the porch light on and off several times at which point the van pulled in and it was the deliveryman with my food... One hour and 20 minutes after I ordered it. Now I have to say the restaurant is less than five minutes away from my house! The delivery person then told me he needed to see my credit card, which was upstairs in my bedroom, I asked him to wait while I went to retrieve it and he said no never mind here's your food...again as I stated I didn't feel very well but the prospect of hot Chinese fooddid my spirits, that is until I opened my small vegetable fried rice and found vegetable lo mein with three pieces of broccoli and a few onion shards...no more vegetables. After making me feel like it was a huge hassle for them to deliver, which they say that they do, and I spent $30 to cooperate with their delivery standards, they brought me the wrong food...I wish I could tell you the food that they did bring me was amazing it wasn't... It was okay, it was edible, it was the last time I'll ever eat at this restaurant

Feeling lazy and ordered food today. A previous review said they don't deliver, but they do! Which is very convenient. We ordered te general tso chicken, wonton soup, bourbon chicken, and the lo mein. You get a LOT of food for the price. The food is pretty tasty but not out of this world. But like other reviews say, it's a typical Chinese take out place.

Ordered some Sunday afternoon takeout for our family (6 adults and one child). Our food was fast, hot and crispy. We all came to a consensus that this trip earned them a 4 star review. I'm not saying that this is the best Chinese I have had, but for the price, quantity, and flavor, they did a great job. The man who answered the phone was helpful and friendly. He even threw in some extra freebies. The only disappointment was the free almond cookies. Could have done without them.

Bland tasteless food. I order Mongolian beef and I could barely find any meat. Never again.

For the local area this take-out is slight above average. Tasty, well-priced and large portions.

The best spot in Altamonte. Good food, low prices and decent portions. Only downfall is they don't deliver. I've been coming here for about 3 yrs now. My fav is the chicken wings with shrimp fried rice.

Absolutely average Chinese take out. I am still hunting for a Chinese take out place that may (gasp!) actually make some food fresh. I swear all of these places must shop at the same place because all the food tastes the same. You either get a square frozen krab rangoon or a triangle shape (New Hong Kong has the triangle variety). The food, although woked or fried fresh, is still not made fresh. Even the pictures of the food on the wall area the same. The menus are the same!! And this place was dirty, just like most. I'd love to find a place to stand out against the rest. I'd be willing to pay more for quality Chinese take out. Does it exist?!?

The food here is very bland with no seasoning. I can cook shrimp fried rice better than what they attempted. Save your money!

Good Chinese take out. I've tried Sesame Chicken, Shrimp Lo Mein , Pepper Steak.... Is all good. Love the wonton soup.

Good quick easy tasty. Similar to just about every other walk-in, take-out Chinese food place you've ever seen. There is some seating inside, but its purpose is to be a take-out place. Tonight my husband and I got the egg-drop soup, pork fried rice, Kung Pao chicken and chicken with mixed vegetables. The soup was really the standout thick and tasty. The rest of it was well and good, but the soup was what really hit the spot for both of us tonight. We will definitely be back here for more.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
