Service was very good. Christina B was our main waitress. she had new drinks out before we even finished the ones we had. A+..Food was great too.. My steak wasn't cooked correctly though. I ordered it well done since it typically has a little pink in it when cooked at a restaurant. Which means its perfect. But in this case the ends of my steak actually had a little blood ooze out. Wasnt worth saying anything because its fine for my taste. but had it been someone who really wanted well done it would of been under cooked.. For some reason we were given $15 off our bill and a "sorry for your inconvenience". We weren't sure what the inconvenience was. 2 people in our party wondered why we werent being seated when 2 tables were empty for a while. 1 suggested maybe they were reserved. Another insisted that wasnt the case. so they asked the waitress. Answer: "we try not to sit people till servers are caught up, this way service doesnt suffer". Honestly we were told a 30min wait. and I'm pretty sure we didnt even wait that long. so there was no inconvenience. But the point is. This place clearly wants to make their customers happy. And any place that cares about their customers will always be on the top of my list. Ordered the flat iron steak. But i was so hungry half of it was already gone before I remembered to take a photo. So its a little late for that. No one wants to see the photo of what it looks like now. so I only managed to get a photo of the app. we ordered. Btw the flat iron has some awesome seasoning on it.

I don't normally go to LongHorn Steakhouse. The last time I had went, they were still really wild west themed (cowboy hats, boots and spurs, stuffed heads, etc.). Since returning, I was extremely impressed with the the restaurant theme. It was much more modern and appealing. I believe they mentioned "Ranch Style." As far as the food goes, I was extremely impressed! The ribeye I had was cooked to perfection. Juicy and tender. It was phenomenal. Also the Wild West Shrimp appetizer was great as well as the chicken tortilla soup. I will definitely be going back.

Ate here yesterday for lunch. They can't fake steak and believe me they don't. I asked for medium Renegade sirloin and I got a medium Renegade sirloin. It was very good. The side of broccoli was hot and the bread was nice and warm. I eat here at least once a month and love it. I have never had a bad experience.

I was able to use my first time visit for a free appetizer - the Wild West Shrimp was a lot bigger than I anticipated and it was pretty hot since there were jalapeño slices with juice in there. Wow. I ate half of it during lunch and the rest later in the evening. I ordered the sirloin BLT salad with a side of shrimp and lobster corn chowder. It was so yummy. I ate every single bite. The vinaigrette was tasty, the roman lettuce was crisp and there were three thick slices of tomatoes, lots of cheese and a nicely grilled sirloin steak in there. I paid just a bit over $9. My server, Julie, was very good. I will definitely be returning here for lunch.

I really want to like this Longhorn because it is a very convenient location. But, as in all things, the details kill this place. Walk it, sit at bar: no bartender. This is a peak 'happy hour/early dining', not off hours. Eventually a bartender shows up. Personality did not arrive. Drinks were poured, sat down, the end. Moving along: menu has an item called "Flo's Filet". Ordered. Arrived. Began trying to cut, slice, saw? I've eaten a lot of filets in my life. This was NOT a filet. I know: I didn't go to Shula's or Christners Del Frisco but REALLY. A piece of chuck roast would have been better. If you can't serve a piece of real filet of beef, then please take it off the menu. (Outback somehow does it for the same $$). I will go back, and I hope I remember NOT to order steak. The salads are good, sides are good, etc. I would rather the price go up and the beef be 'real' than pay less and get 'uneatable'.

This place is one of the better chains. However, the prices for the food portions can't be beat. The fried asparagus were pretty good, but there were no healthy appetizer options, and that is annoying (they probably would not be very popular). The meat I had was just ok (sirloin 6 oz). However, the parmesan chicken was super juicy and topped with lots of cheese. Consisting of two large breasts, it was a super deal for the price and the flavor was really good. The mashed potatoes were also well prepared and spiced, and creamy, but since I like to eat healthy, I like to stick with the healthier menu options. This gets a solid 3 - it's a place to stop in when you want something predictable, but like any chain, don't expect anything out of this world. It was crowded on a Saturday night, and I hope that was the reason the waitress forgot three times the dessert I wanted, and then gave me the wrong one anyway. I finally got the cinnamon bites to go. Though they were still warm when I ate them, they were really not worth ordering; they were tasteless and chewy without any flavor at all. It's difficult to imagine messing up cinnamon bites, but apparently it is possible. Avoid this dessert unless you want to be disappointed.

I'll make this short. It's a nice place, clean and service is good. But the food is meh. The best part of the meal was the caesar salad. Crunchy, fresh. My french onion soup was a bowl full of goopy bread and cheese. There was hardly any soup in it. The soup that I did find underneath the goop was so clogged with bread and starchy. I like french onion soup that is a dark broth full of onions. So that was disappointing. (Plus they put a few packs of Zesta crackers on the side. Ugh.) I also got the fiesta chicken wraps appetizer as my entree. Those were straight from the freezer to the microwave. :( Should have known. And my hubby's steak wasn't that great. Won't be returning... Outback is better. Maybe I sound snootyfoodie about all of this but that is not my intention.
I love steak and Longhorn's is a stable and comfortable place to go with the family. They have month to month specials and you can usually get a filling lunch or dinner for ten bucks. The service has always been solid and quality with a smile. The streak is always cooked to order with the veggies lightly steamed. Other than the steak the chicken had been hit or miss. Sometimes it is a little dry but I think like fish chicken is difficult to get perfect. Salads and other items on the menu are pretty standard and I tend to stay away from them as I want to keep an empty stomach for a big steak

While I waited twenty minutes to get a seat on a Saturday Night, I was filled with anticipation of a great dinner. I was sorely mistaken. The server was quick and friendly to greet our table however, after that, we sat there for one hour and twenty minutes before we received our food. Nobody came by to give us any updates or explain what might be going on. The staff were visibly rushed but our food wasn't. When we finally did receive our food, my steak (NY Strip 14oz) was actually cold to the touch, not warm, not cool but actually cold! I decided to eat it as I was afraid of another hour and twenty minute wait for a new one, I will say, that even cold the steak tasted great.. The people were friendly, but based on this experience alone, I would not go back on a weekend. Maybe sometime during the week when they have less visitors and are able to handle the business.

Stopped in at near closing for a late dinner last night ... Omar thought we'd get what he likes to call "end of the night food" .... Well he was wrong. Everything was cooked perfectly to order and absolutely delicious. Our server was super sweet. Great experience!!! Two thumbs up!

What a pleasant surprise for a moderate priced menu, YAY! Great menu special...loved the Steakhouse Dinner for Two $29.99 AND they don't discriminate. The Wild West Shrimp appetizer was delicious and I upgraded to the Blue Ridge Salad, YUM! The weather is finally nice enough to sit outside and even though they were pretty busy inside, our sever Timothy A. found time to take very good care of us. I will definitely be going back soon!

good food bad service. asked 3 times for silverware. waited 15 minutes till we finally asked manager. he had an attitude w us that we didn't need silverware immediately or w our bread. did he expect us to use our fingers for the butter?? he was not very nice. waitress threw straws at us on the table and never said a word to us. worse service. wait time was hour and 20 minutes. plenty of tables but they wouldn't sit everyone. this is the second time for bad service. food is great! needs a new manager and servers.

We had dinner at Longhorn. The ads on TV make the food look so appetizing but what we got was less than mediocre. the bread basket was chintzy and smushed. The Caesar salad had too many cheese shavings and they were too big and unappealing to look at. The salad it self had little taste. The filet with cheese and bacon had a sliver of bacon and cheese that looked like rubber. The steak was stringy and tough. The only redemption for the meal was the brown sugar cinnamon sweet potato. We had dessert at home, why try another menu item when we were already unhappy with the food. The price was too high for the quality we got. Longhorn went downhill some years back when they took tried and true items off the menu and started changing up everything on a seasonal or periodic basis. I asked about a sweet potato bite on the menu and the waitress told me no one liked them so they were coming off the menu. The best thing Longhorn every offered was a salad with fried chicken and wonderful buttertossed croutons of cornbread. Once I knew that was gone from their menu, I have never cared for this place and will not try it again. It is off the list of places to eat when in my home base.

Slow service on a Thursday night. Kitchen was even slower. Seated without a menu or silverware. Dirty table next to me when I came in and was still dirty when I left 45 minutes later. Another table left nearby about half way through my meal and was not cleaned by the time I left. Trash on the floor near the front door. Waited for the check. Manager walked by dirty tables several times but didn't appear concerned. When I spoke to him about my experience he was indifferent.

I had pretty much the same experience here during my one visit as I had during multiple visits to the location in Lake Mary. My family and I ate here only once, and I think it was in either 2009 or 2010. Maybe they have been here other times without me, but I went with them only once. We used to go to the one in Lake Mary a lot, though. This location is pretty convenient - it's just seconds away from where I-4 and S.R. 436 intersect and also is close to the Altamonte Mall. I can't remember what I ordered here, since my visit was so long ago. I definitely would come back if invited, though. LongHorn has been a family favorite for a while. It just is that, in recent years, we've been going in a different direction when it comes to family dinners. Most of the time, we try new area restaurants or order from our favorite small businesses (i.e. Luna's in Longwood). See my review of the store in Lake Mary for further details.

My friends and I eat at this Longhorn location at least once a month and the service is usually good as is the food. This last visit was exceptionally good because of the service of our wait staff. We had never met Angela but, we will always ask for her when we go, she was very helpful, genuinely friendly and attentive. The food is always good and we are all fans of the salads. We opted for the chocolate cake dessert as part of the 2 for $29 special and that cake/ice cream plate was generous and delicious. The firecracker appetizer was very good, too. I just received another Longhorn gift card this week for my birthday and will be headed over there this coming week.

This five star rating is for the food . I had an early dinner and sat at the bar. Attractive female bar tender was very nice but kept disappearing . She gave much more effort taking to her co workings than taking care of customers . I think her name could be Siera ? Sirlon steak was excellent . Sides perfect . A few years back I ate here very regularly . There was a bar tender that was bald , maybe in his early 30s, he was the best !

I've been to this location a few times--never had a problem, but I went here today on a rainy Saturday and was so disappointed in the service that I can safely say that I won't ever be back to this location. It was packed when I went in and it was a 30 minute wait. After being seated, our waitress came, and we ordered. I ordered a large salad with no chicken, and when it was brought out, I was served the small, appetizer portion. I said to the waitress "This isn't what I ordered?" and she tried telling me that she had put it in for the large salad and it was the kitchens fault. I was starving and didn't feel like waiting for them to remake it, so I just dealt with it...I was finished in less than 5 minutes. I was going to order maybe something else, but I NEVER saw the waitress again. She never came back over to our table once, not to check on us, not to refill our drinks, nothing. By the end of the meal, my stomach was growling and my mouth was dry; I was angry and just told the waitress to give me the check and I paid and was gone. I was so hungry after that lunch that I actually went and stopped at Chipotle on the ride home. Never coming to this restaurant again and I'm definitely contacting the manager to complain about the poor service.

I don't want to write a review focused on food--but rather, the experience. Picture me...Friday date night with the wife. Picture Hostess...30 minute wait at least. Picture me...it's raining and I don't want to get back in the car I'll wait. So there's a gang of us cramped, hanging out and hoping our pager will be the next to go off. I notice a gentleman approach the hostess stand, he came not from the gallery waiting to be seated but from the dining area. Manager shows up and I hear him mention how terrific his service was that night. He may be a little drunk, but that should matter not as I believe if the service was crap he woulda had the stones to up and tell the manager that too. Manger is very appreciative of the feed back and the happy customer wanders back to his table. So that's nice. I figure maybe this place will be more than worth the wait (this was our first visit). Eventually we are seated in a gal named Mercedes' section. I think the complimentary gent from before must have also been in her section too cuz the entire meal was a treat. First off, the food was great--and I'm sure you can scroll through and find lots of reviews talking about the meat and potatoes of it all (pun fully intended) but the service...on a night where the place was slammed...was second to none. A terrific server was handling a busy section, noticeably putting in QT with every table while managing to be on top of any curve ball requests that were thrown her way. The service industry is brutal, and a heavy night can mean lousy help. Not the case that night. I could go on and on about everything she (as well as the rest of the LH employees we encountered) did right, but let's just say they were 100% from start to finish. I look forward to going back and (hopefully) receiving the same level of service, as the food was delicious and the price points were quite remarkable for the amount of quality grub yer getting.

This location was right next to my hotel and a few other hotels so it was a breeze to get to. When I got there it was a little late so I got all the attention I needed from the server. I had ordered the NY strip (14oz) and it was cooked to the way I liked it. I had ordered some steamed broccoli and the potato on the side (it was okay...), I did enjoy their string beans though! Overall, it was a decent experience and I'd go again to check out the other items on the menu.

What's there not to like about Longhorn?? They have amazing steaks, appetizers, drinks and to top it all off great service! I came here for a late lunch and chose to try one of their lunch combos. First let me say that our server was awesome. She got our drink orders really fast and told us about the new items on the menu and suggested that we try the Wild west shrimp. It was really good but my only criticism was that ranch was way too salty for my taste. For my entree I picked the 1/3 steakhouse burger and it was very filling and tasty. I also had a side salad with my burger. I had a gift certificate that I had gotten from one of the Yelp events I attended, it was past the validity date but the manager was gracious enough to let me use it. This Longhorn location is by far my favorite in the Orlando area. Thanks for making my dining experience always AWESOME and for having AMAZING servers who are patient, friendly and always helpful. I will definitely be coming back.

Hands down Longhorns is one of my favourite places to eat! I went for lunch with a friend. I am so thrilled they have a lunch menu at very reasonable prices. On the lunch menu are three lunch combos. I chose the combo for $8. I had the option of which salad or soup I wanted and a choice of three sandwiches. I chose the steakhouse burger and tortilla soup. OMG! The tortilla soup was DELICIOUS! Nice and savoury and spicy! I loved it! The steakhouse burger was delicious as well. My friend and I shared an appetizer of the Wild West shrimp which was a bit on the salty side. Our server was definitely on point. Thanks Kara, you were fabulous! She made sure all of our needs were taken care of. I look forward to returning. Thanks for a great experience Longhorns!

The steak was cooked at the perfect temperature, the Wild West shrimp as an app was so good and great portion to share with friends & we had josh "JOSH" was our server he was simply the best, great customer service... And he was very attentive to our needs. I enjoyed my visit to this longhorn & we did the dinner for two for $29.99 / $45.75 total that's great !!!!

Typical of Longhorn's the beef is thin and has a weird texture. Almost like it's been treated! The broccoli is under cooked all the time. The bread is not a nice quality bread. It's fast food but not a fast food place.

Had a gift card to use so we chose to try out LongHorn again since I remembered it fondly years ago. I loved their steaks and craved one of their chicken salads that I would often order. I also remember the comfort I felt when putting a piece of buttered bread in my mouth. LongHorn what happened to you? I know you are an older chain but have you given up trying to impress your customers? We walk in to a fairly busy LongHorn that is flooded with church goers who seem to love it there. So we have to wait a bit, no biggie. First thing I notice is a musty smell by the bar. I try to ignore it because I do have a sensitive nose and I don't wish to sour the dining experience so early. While still waiting for a table I decide to visit the bathroom that while appearing clean, smells like a pet store. Perhaps the use of a different brand of cleaning products is in order. Finally we are seated and our non-enthusiastic waitress takes our order. The bread comes out and does not give me that memorable feeling in my mouth as I eat it. They must have changed the recipe down the road. And they have taken my favorite salad off the menu. You have three salad choices now and none of them are appealing to me. I decide on the "lighter" Balsamic-Raspberry Seared Chicken. The chicken was the only saving grace of my dining experience. It was juicy and flavorful. The green beans on the side were pathetic. They were a weird consistency and flavored with some odd bourbon or maple flavored sauce. I would have preferred them to be steamed with a little butter and salt. Maybe they should make that an option. The maple flavor was very unpleasant to me. Kind of sad when one of the restaurants that you thought you could always visit and get a consistent experience changes. I probably won't be back but hopefully LongHorn makes some improvements before their church going crowd learns they can get a better experience elsewhere.

My experiences here have always been good. The service is friendly and the food is definitely yummy. In comparison to other "fried onion" appetizers from other restaurants, LongHorn definitely has them beat with their Texas Tonion. I think it's because it's not as greasy as the others, making it not as filling (at least for me, anyway). I usually come here for dinner, but today it was all about lunch. It was nice coming at an earlier time and not having to wait. Like most restaurants (especially steakhouses), the wait can be pretty long. And unfortunately, at this location, their parking lot is pretty small. It's not fun when you have to try to find parking near the hotel right next to it. My food of choice is normally the Flo's Filet, with their amazing mashed potatoes and a side salad. Today I decided to go differently, which, sad to say, I was a bit disappointed that I did. I ordered the Bacon & Cheddar Burger and honestly, I was not impressed and definitely won't be ordering that again. But it was the first time I tried their french fries, which were pretty tasty, so at least that was good. I think I'll just stick to my original, mouth-watering steak dinner from now on, though. Oh, and their Ultimate Brownie Sundae? Simply AMAZING! Don't worry if someone asks if they can take a bite from it. It's definitely big enough to share with 2 people!

They lost me at period blood. I used to go to this place three or four times a week in late 2010. Pretty much from August all the way through till November, my brother and I lived here. Circumstances changed and I didn't come as often, but still came here at least enough to be considered a regular. But since then, this place has totally gone downhill. My wife and I went in for a date night last night, and as soon as we walked in we began noticing things. I threw a cup into the trash behind the hostess stand, and a bug came crawling out and up the wall. I don't want to say something that isn't true, so I won't 100% identify the bug, but it appeared to be a roach. We got seated to a table in the back corner of a very dirty section. There was only two other couples in the section, yet every table was dirty. In fact, the entire restaurant was dead, and yet the entire restaurant was pretty dirty. When I used to come here, this place was booming. Every table was filled. It was also spotless. So if they could keep it clean while slammed, they should be able to keep it clean while slow. The menu has gone downhill. Their sides used to be better, as well as just the selection of entrées. There's really not very many choices, and everything is ridiculously overpriced. A cheeseburger is $10.70. If this place was still the booming hotspot that it used to be, I could understand them trying to get away with that, but as it is, that's just crazy. While I ordered the drinks, my wife went to the bathroom. When she came back, she said that one stall had toilet paper all over the seat, one stall had poop stains in the bowl, and another stall had period blood on the seat. Right about then, our babysitter texted asking us a question, so we took that as an opportunity to bail. We called the babysitter from the car, and ended up going to TGI Fridays. Definitely worth the switch. Overall, this place was just a disaster. But, I would like to mention that our waiter was very nice.

Great ribs. Asparagus appetizer is awesome. Skip the horseradish mashed potatoes. Got a free sundae for my son's birthday. Nice! Steaks always good and cooked right. Fresh cold salad
