Came here on a recent Saturday night; we waited a little while for a table in their sizable bar area and grabbed a beer, which makes any wait much more bearable. You can order your drafts from a big tv-like screen. They also have tons of bottles/cans. I wanted to go with something semi-local so I first ordered a Fly Fox Phoenix draft (ehhh) and later had a 21st amendment Fireside Chat, which was excellent and wintery. Two of my friends also ordered the Dogfish Head 120-minute IPA, which is apparently not available all too often and also apparently gets you pretty drunk. The point is that they have a great selection, so yay. On to the food. So I've had a lot of truffle fry orders in which the truffle oil flavor was subtle. Not at Two Stones. These fries pack a seriously amazing flavorful punch, and the generous sprinkling of parmesan really helps enhance the flavor. Seriously like the best French fries you could possibly imagine. The sauce is good, too, but you don't need it. I had other food here, too, which was great but less memorable. The blackened chicken mac and cheese had a really unique and creamy flavor. I also had a fish taco, but I shouldn't really comment on it as I had it the next day. It was fine and I'm sure it was better fresh. I really don't understand the 'overpriced' comments. Maybe it's just because I live in DC, which is a whole city of overpriced everything, but I thought everything was priced super reasonably. The service was really great as well. Our server was friendly and had no problem separating our checks, and even told us how easy it was to do so. In short, I would love to come back here, and I would get like six orders of the truffle fries.

Great service, first of all. Genuine and efficient. The pub nachos were good, fortunately we got the happy hour pricing bc it was small for 8.00 (reg price as I recall). My burger was great, cooked correctly and everything was HOT. The guacamole tasted very strongly of lime, which made me think it was a wee bit past it's time. Still good, overall and I would go again.

Not a bad place, as long as you don't sit behind the tap "boxes". Went in after a long day and took up a spot at the bar "behind" one of the boxes that contain the taps. I had to damn near set myself on fire to get noticed. Regulars at the bar were taken care of quickly, yet I sat, with a menu *in hand* and damn near had to smack a bartender with it to get her attention. I could almost understand it if the place was wall-to-wall people...but, alas, it wasn't. Dunno if this is the norm with places on the east coast, but I know this isn't something I run into on the west coast.

My boyfriend and I stopped at this place before heading to Longwood Gardens for Nightscape. The only thing we didn't like was that we don't live close enough!! I would be a regular here if it wasn't so far. Perfect spot to grab a few local, craft beers and some intriguing food. As sushi lovers we had to try the chorizo "sushi" roll and it was so worth it especially with the BBQ soy sauce and wasabi avocado spread - HEAVEN. We also had the insane stacked nachos paired perfectly with the habanero pineapple rum. Will definitely have to go back to Longwood just to go to this place! We've been recommending it to everyone who is going out to see Nightscape.

I really like this place. They redid the menu and the have some nice new selections. If you are into middle eastern food, try the lamb meatballs. Nice little plate with many tasty little garnishes and pita points- tzatziki, tomato coulis, cucumber and feta with a spray of arugala. The crab dip comes with pretzels and nacho chips for dipping. The dip is very rich and very crabby. We ended up dipping our fries in it - yum. This looked like a small portion but could easily feed three as an app. We also split the fish and chips. Great fish, good fries, but the cole slaw was sleepy. I would go for all of these things again and try out other things on this menu. The beer choices change frequently so don't get too stuck on a favorite. Service was good but our server was a "soft-talker".

Amazeballs. I had a great app, a great entree and two delicious draft beers. We call that the headline. Now, here's the rest of the story. While there was a brief wait for a table, there were a couple of spots open at the bar for me to enjoy a Dogfish Head draft and wait. Halfway through the beer, my table opened up and I paid that tab and moved over. A great waiter was not disappointed that he'd missed out on this first beer, but I assured him that a second one would be ordered soon. But in the meanwhile, I ordered the "Hot & Spicy fries" to start. A good portion with some pepper jack cheese, some chopped green onions and a good amount of sriracha on top of crispy fries was tasty. And a half portion is definitely enough for two as a starter. For main, while the specials tempted me (BBQ pulled pork with mac & cheese? Braised short ribs?), I decided on the jägerschnitzel. A very large portion of pork in a crispy batter was excellent. In fact, too much shnitzel that I left a big piece of it behind, which made me sad. Very tasty, really yummy. The side of blaukraut (German Red Cabbage) was nice and tart. The spätzle was also quite good. But it was the shnitzel that really killed it here. Delish! A very filling meal with good service in a nice pub-style restaurant that had free wifi? Awesome. And a big thank you to the Wilmington Yelp community, without whom I would not have found this gem.

If this place was in the city it would be run by hipsters . Pretty decent draft list and great specials on food and snacks had my first beer mosa here and was impressed though I wish it wasn't 10.00. Service is hit or miss, though the last few times we've sat at the bar. Go for Hh -

Don't do it! You'll end up regretting it. Big time! They serve mediocre food at gourmet prices. The wine list sucks. The drinks are served as a cup full of ice with a shot of alcohol for $10. What a ripoff. The staff gets the prize. They are the rudest people on the face of the planet. Never Again!

I'd actually rate this a 3.5 stars if I could. Our one and only experience so far was better than average but not stellar. The menu offered a good selection of traditional and atypical pub fare. We ordered two burgers, each cooked to different temperatures, but when they came out, they looked the same. Still, the burgers were really tasty and good-sized. The brioche bun was a nice touch. We each upgraded to two different types of fries (sweet potato & truffle), but neither were really worth it. They had a good selection of spirits in addition to beer, but whoever was behind the bar wasn't a very good mixologist. Very attentive and pleasant server. I'm willing to go back for a second try as in general there aren't very many good local joints around our area.

Good selection of beer. They had a strange selection of food but it appears they tweaked the menu and it is slightly better. Had a pretty good Italian panini last time I visited. Bartender was friendly and quick. I wasn't crazy about this place the first time I visited but I seem to warming up to it. May rate it better on a third visit.

This is one of my favorite spots in the area! The buffalo wings, burgers and fries are great and the staff is always right on time to refill my drink. My only gripe with this place was the glass ketchup bottles, but once my waiter taught me the butter knife trick, I had no more problems. Very cool place with cool staff, good food and continuous drinks!

For the price, the food is hit or miss. If the prices were a bit less, I'd give it 4 stars, but I docked one for price.

How have I missed this place for so.long? Making up for it now, though. Great, unusually good selection of craft beers. Gastro pub foods that's freshly made and quite delicious. Try the cheese plate! It's a little hard to find, but well-worth the look. Don't let the outside fool you (nor the "unnamed" pizza place next door keep you away).

I go here all the time. They have such a great selection of beers on tap. Also make sure to try the buffalo wings.

On Sunday night (04/27), my boyfriend and I went here with my sister and her husband before catching our train back to Hoboken. We've been here a few times in the past since it opened, and I have to say, I'm never disappointed. This time around, I decided to order the pan-fried jumbo-lump crab cakes, and for an appetizer, we chose the braided pretzels with the queso blanco and beer mustard sauces. Here's where I have to detract a star--our server, Tara, was very sweet and friendly, but she forgot to place the appetizer order. By the time she realized her error, our meals were almost ready and we didn't have a whole lot of time left, so we asked her to leave it off our tab (which she did). She seemed genuinely apologetic, so we let it pass. My crab cakes came with old-bay seasoned steak fries (HUGE, but delicious). The dill sauce had bits of pickle in it and was a good choice for the crab meat, which was cooked well. My sister ordered the shrimp and grits, and I sampled some...I definitely need to order this the next time I come here. Shrimp and cheddar cheese make an excellent combination. My boyfriend ordered the brisket, which was unbelievably tender and drizzled with a savory honey barbecue sauce. My brother-in-law got the foie gras burger (done medium-rare). I assume he liked it, since he cleaned his plate. For dessert, we split two slices of cake among the four of us: the limoncello cake and S'mores cheesecake. Two slices of heaven, as far as I'm concerned, although I think the limoncello cake edged out the cheesecake slightly in flavor. The limoncello cake reminded me of a lemon coconut Junior TastyKake: moist, sweet with a hint of tartness, but not heavy. The S'mores cheesecake...well, it was cheesecake with chocolate and caramel sauce drizzled on the top along with marshmallows and crumbled bits of graham crackers. What more could you possibly want? I'm looking forward to my next visit. I hope they don't forget the pretzels though.

This restaurant I have different opinions on. Their brunch I do enjoy. Every time we have gone here it has been delicious. Hubby loves their French toast and I usually get the omelette special they are having. Dinner was good. Hubby enjoyed the different choices of beers they have. I thought their mixed drinks were a little pricey. I had their Bloody Mary and it was around $8-9. If I would of had two I would have spent close to $20 already for dinner. Lunch is okay but to me it cost to much considering they don't offer a lot of options for lunch. The items they offer are almost the same at any other restaurant for a lower price. It seems they do have specials for lunch thru the week but not weekends. Hubby had a Reuben sandwich with fries and a beer. I had the chicken salad sandwich with pasta salad (pasta salad tasted weird) and a White Russian and we shared a bowl of soup cost $45 without tip. One item I would love to try is their nachos I hear they are so good and you do get a lot but I just can't bring myself to pay $15 for an order of nachos. I wish they would offer half an order. I love that this restaurant post theirs specials on their website everyday and some with photos. I definitely recommend this restaurant for brunch and dinner if you don't mind spending a more for dinner.

Must try brunch. Get there at 10:00 as it gets busy after 11ish. Brunch on 10/12/14 - Had the best chicken and waffles to date there for brunch. Was so rich and filling that I ate 1/3 for brunch and took leftovers home for afternoon snack later that day and lunch on Monday. Waffles are deep fried (I believe) and tasty. The chicken is large nuggets of seasoned breading deep fried just right. The country gravy is not your average country gravy - it is thick and spicy and the portion is just enough to give you a taste with each and every bite. Just a damn good meal. Had dinner there on 10/1514 - Husband got the portabello stuffed with crab and artichoke risotto with sautéed spinach. Creamy and rich, full of flavor. I got the pork cheek carnitas - tasted slow cooked and was so tender and soft. Dirty rice was full of flavor and just solid good tasty food. This place and it's chef are not afraid of spices and flavor. A nice change for the Delaware restaurant scene!

Early start of the st. Patrick's day weekend with a delicious pint of delicious beverage. I think that the beverage should be accompany by amazing meal and a sexy accomplice such as the girlfriend which took off for the early start. Our bartender today was Carmen who was so cool and entertaining. She was on top of things and entertaining the patrons. Food was delicious staff stopped by to say hello and ask how thing were. Thumbs up .

If it were just for the taste of the food, I would rate 2 Stones 4-Stars. However, value is also a consideration in choosing a restaurant, especially if you are a family of 6 like us. I am not sure if the kids meal prices at Two Stones are meant as a deterrent to families patronizing the restaurant, but if that is the case, they are doing exceedingly well. The kids meals are priced at $7.00. Keep in mind that this is for chicken tenders, mac n cheese...your standard kid fare. I could tolerate that, but I was shocked when I received my bill and saw that all 4 of my kids under the age of 10 were charged $2.95 for their drinks in addition to the $7 for their kids meals. We will not be returning unless it is just my husband and myself, which happens like twice a year.

I am someone who has paid high amounts of money for a pour of rare beer. I have never been gouged as much as two stones gouged me for BCBS. $16 for an 8 oz pour is not just expensive it is absurd and is insulting to their customers.

This is my favorite bar in Delaware! Great beer selection, and fun menu. The TBA burger is always unique and delicious. Taco Tuesdays always have a creative twist to them. I loved The Lord of the Rings and Star Wars tacos. There is one in Newark and Wilmington and I think they are both great. Highly recommended!

Stopped in solo on my way back home from a quick trip to DC. Very easy to locate just off Naaman's Road, tucked inside a small shopping center. Quickly greeted and seated in the bar area (not seat yourself as you see in many other bar-side seating areas). This was Tuesday around 6:45pm and the place was not even half full and remained fairly quiet during my hour there. The bar was mostly occupied, but only seats a dozen or so. Excellent tap list, on paper and well displayed on those digital chalkboards that are becoming popular. Well rounded offerings with smaller pour (9oz.) to allow you to sample 2 or 3 and not break the bank. The two beers I enjoyed were very fresh and served in decent glassware. Tuesday night is an appetizer and entree for $22, so I opted for the braided pretzels w/ cheese dip and a honey mustard. Warm and delicious. Two nice sized pretzels and plenty for 3-4 people. Opted for the crab cake, which was enormous and loaded with crab meat. Potatoes a bit heavy on the mayo, but cooked perfectly and complemented with bacon bits. Green beans for the green, with a bit too much butter, but also prepared just right. As I was eating, I perused their craft beer bottle list and I could not stop shaking my head at some of the prices they were asking for bottles. I am not sure if their grand scheme is to not sell bottles, but as a knowledgeable craft beer knurd, the pricing is so far off and I would NEVER buy a bottle and ANY of the prices they were displaying. Uinta Big beers at $35 to $38! I can buy them in any store for under $15. Locals like Yard's Chocolate Love Stout.....$26, where I just bought it for $8. Victory's Oak Aged Barleywine, less than a half hour from the place....$40! Again, you can grab nearby for under $15. Listen, I am all about accepting mark-up in a craft beer bar for buying something special while out, but this is just flat out price gouging and I cannot stand it. ***REVISION -- bottle prices are way lower and more reasonable -- not taking any credit here, but huge drop in prices....maybe b/c they have not sold any of them? For whatever reason, prices are solid and I would have bought one if I was not alone*** I am still giving this place 4 stars b/c their food was excellent, staff friendly, clean, comfortable and a kick ass draft list, but you are not going to sell your bottles at these prices. If they do, shame on the customer for not knowing any better.

Usually one of my favorite places to eat, I was extremely disappointed with our last visit. After having a lengthy discussion with our waitress about their gluten-free options and having her bring me the gluten-free menu. I ordered two pulled pork tacos off of said gluten-free menu. I ate an entire taco before I realized they were served on flour tortillas. I called the waitress over, asked "are these flour tortillas?", she panicked, I told her I wasn't allergic and that I had given up wheat for lent. She was visibly relieved and offered me a corn tortilla. I declined but felt that there should have been some degree of comp.

Let me start by saying that this is the 2nd time for us, I was hoping to be wrong about my first impression. A couple thoughts: !. Beer is awesome! 2. Decor is awesome! 3. Food menu is good. 4. Servers appear to be the walking dead. They diminish the value of the experience. I have never seen anything like this. They don't smile, offer suggestions, ask questions or appear to care at all. Example: we asked a question about a beer and the server said "don't know". That was his final answer! (We chose to ask the bartender since our server didn't give a damn) Bartender was great! This is a craft beer bar, right? Like the other craft beer bars we frequent around the country? Tonights server shook her head when we asked a question. Implied NOPE but didn't have the energy to say so. She pressured us into choosing between 2 hot sauces so that she did not have to carry two bottles? What? She also charged us twice for 2 tiny sides of bbq sauce for one burger. We are totallly disappointed to have such a great place nearby, but with lackluster service staff it feels like we are bothering them. What to do?? Please consider hiring servers who like people and beer and food. You have created the almost perfect place in N Wilmington...TY!

My husband and I ate here last night! We wanted to try somewhere new and Two Stones had been recommended by our brother in law. The place itself is cozy and we were offered a booth or a table in the bar area. We selected the cozy booth, but later learned of the great specials available to us if we had picked the bar area. Next time! We started with the guacamole, which although it said: "Made to order," was already on its way to gray-ish. That didn't stop us from eating it, however. For dinner, I had the veggie burger and my husband had the pork tacos, which looked awesome. I ate a few of my sweet potato fries, which were perfect. We each had a drink (beer for husband, prosecco for me) and the bill was 40 bucks. Not bad at all! Would definitely go back.

Stopped in 2SP on Saturday 10/12/13 for lunch. This was my third visit here and the first for my two guests. All three of us had a wonderful meal. The portion sizes were very large, the food was well seasoned and creative, and the beer list is first rate. Our server, Jaime, did an excellent job in explaining the menu items and the specialty beers. She is an asset to 2SP. I highly recommend Two Stone Pub in North Wilmington. It is a gem.

I must have been here 50 times or more. This place has the finest selection of craft beers you can find without going to Philly. Plus, the servers here really know their product and will readily and helpfully assist you with making the best beer choices based on your preferences, and will bring you several samples if you want to try before choosing. There's some creative menu pairing going on here so specials are always fun to try although not for the diet crowd. My all-time favorite menu item though is the bourbon bread pudding. It's to die for.

Went to Two stones Pub yesterday for Happy hour with my team and I had a pretty good time. This place has a large selection of beer on draft and on bottle. i was a little disappointed with the service as i expect the waitress to be able to advise you when you do not know which type of beer to choose (given the large selection, i really like to just tell the waitress what type of beer i like and get a suggestion). The waitress just told me to look at the menu, which was not really helpful so i just picked the first beer in there. We ordered some wings and nachos and all in all it was not bad. I will try two stones again but for now, not my best pub experience.

Great beer selection....got the hot & spicy fries and the 2SP stacked nachos. Spicy fries were okay, if u like soggy (i don't). Nachos were topped with pulled pork, not a fan of sweet pulled pork flavored nachos. Reasonable prices for the portions.

I came here at my sister's recommendation for a first date. I was impressed with the beer selection and the beer menu presentation, but since I'm a wheat beer gal, they only had one for me to select from. They will give you a sample sip of a beer so you don't have to commit to ordering a full glass. The staff; the hostess and our server; were very nice; very personable. They had sold out of the duck special of the day; so we went with a second choice order. I had the Porkchop with sweet potato bacon hash and asparagus, he had the chicken mac & cheese. We didn't order an appetizer; as the burger plates that passed us by were HUGE; but we were very surprised at the small portion size when our entree arrived. Both were delicious; really fantastic; but very very small, especially when taking the price into consideration. We had to order an appetizer after our entree as we were still hungry; so we split the nachos with pulled pork; and that chased away the rumbles in our tummy. I felt the dishes creative and delicious, but the price is rather high for what you get. I couldn't see making this a regular stop. I think I'd really award 3.5 stars, but I'll err on the side of optimism.

If great craft beers and fantastic food are you thing, this place is for you. I was only at the Newark location once and it was great, I was hoping the menu would be the same at the Naamans location, at least as far as the burgers go, the selection at the Newark location was better. Try the Soft Pretzels, they are the best appetizer they have. One thing that I just can't get past is the beer screen, even at 65 inches, it is hard to read. There is just something about a beer snob bar with a chalkboard, it just adds something to it. It feels out of place to be looking at a TV with the beer list on it. Everything else there is great but hopefully they expand the menu and add more burgers and maybe add a real beer board for those of us that like it old school.

  • Chris K.

I'm stunned by any review which is less than stellar. First, the food is fantastic. Second, the service is excellent. Third, this is for beer geeks so don't expect the typical and since they have hard to find beers they need to charge a bit more. Go for happy hour. The interior is a great atmosphere with industrial but warm look. I've been several times and its the best new place in the area by a long shot (sorry Ulysses, you're still good).

Loved the number of beers and the variety of offerings. It would be helpful if there was a 'beer steward' behind the bar offering suggestions or pairings. I thought the food was overpriced. Pork soft tacos were amazing, but it would have been nice to pair with rice or beans for a full meal.

New local pub in N. Wilmington, at least that is what we hoped for. While the food is good, creative and entertaining, the beer is way, way, over priced. I love craft and micro beers, but I want a pint, not 12oz or less, and I don't want to spend $10+ for that pint. Is it too much to ask to price 10 of the 32 drafts in the competive $3.50-5.00 range??? Really, this place has high rent and I sure they are trying to be financially successful, but once the new place charm wears off they are going to need locals stopping in for a beer after work, or after the gym, and right now it's worth driving the extra 5 miles to Duffers, Famous Jacks, Max's, or across the street at Harrys. I hope they come to their senses as it is very convenient.

Not a beer drinker but i read reviews on the food so wanted to try it out. The inside is OK, kinda small, kinda dark. The menu is very broad and a good selection for pub food. I got the chicken mac n cheese, it was good. The wings were also good. The service was slow unfortunately and the food is NOT cheap. I MAY come here again for the food, but not likely.

I just want to say I had a great lunch and time here today! Not what I was expecting from a strip mall pub. They lady and I had just bought a new car....and after all the ridiculous stuff that you have to go through to buy a car...I needed a drink! I'm not a huge Yelp guy or supporter, but this place deserves a mention. The snacks we had were terrific! We had fish tacos and pulled pork tacos. I already want to drive back down for other things. I mean they were really that good. I play poker at Delaware Park and will be stopping by on my way down. Being in the restaurant/bar biz for so many years I must say that the staff here was outstanding. I was so impressed with Maddy and K. They know about every menu item, beer, and spirit. I would steal Maddy away to my places in a heartbeat! Maddy can you say Philly? I would give 5 solid stars except.....it's a tad pricey. No problem because the food was superior, but I couldn't afford to come as often as I'd like. a little break on the menu might be in order, The other thing is my personal problem with "craft beer" places. I appreciate supporting local crafters....but sometimes you just want a frosty cold beer. If it takes longer to describe the beer than it does to pour it, then we've jumped the shark. Get some standards in there. If you're in the area, look this place up. You be pleased you did.

We were there on a Friday night to have a casual dinner. The way the restaurant has it's tables at this location, the booths are in line w/ the front door. So , when the door opens the cold air comes rushing in &a you get a major breeze on your necks. The chicken livers were very good but when u have hamburgers for $14 and u charge a $1 extra for a slice of onion, something is not right. It left us w/ a bad taste in our mouths.

I went here for dinner last night with my girlfriend and her parents. This was one of the coldest nights in the past 15 years, but someone must have forgotten to tell the owners of this place. We walked in the front door and there were 2, what appeared to be bed sheets, hanging in the entrance. After parting this curtain, we were greeted by the hostess who was wearing a coat, hat, gloves, and scarf! We were seated at our table and it was freezing in there. It took 10 minutes for anyone to come to our table to greet us. One we ordered drinks that was another 10 minutes. We waited for our burgers for another 10. Please keep in mind the place was half empty. Once the burgers arrived, they were very tasty. The sweet potato fries had a very good taste as well. I have to say I was very disappointed by our visit here, as I have heard good things. With all the other similar places around, it will be hard to justify returning. If you head there anytime this winter, just dress warm!

Love this place, and the one in Newark. Great food, great beer. Love the specials. Amazing brunch. If you follow them on Facebook they post pictures of the lunch and dinner specials, which I always want immediately. The only problem I have is the prices. For two people and 2 beers it could upwards of $50 or $60 depending on the beer. I've seen $14 pints, nothing below $5 after happy hour. To compare, the bar down the street had La Fin du Monde for $7 vs $9.50 at Two Stones. Again, everything I've had has been great, but can't come here to drink for a whole night, too expensive. Would love to come more!

Large beer selection, but waaaay overpriced for the brews. And very heavy on the Belgians. Needs more variety despite the high number of beers. Overpriced is the theme. I ordered a beer and two club sodas. $5.90 for the 2 club sodas and $8.50 for the 12 oz beer. Wait...they charged me for the clubs and it was more than a dollar?!?! Get some class. Grilled Chicken salad...$15. Burger start at $10. Don't get me wrong...the food is pretty good. But c'mon...this is sensationalized pub grub. 5 of us. Food came out at different times by 5 different servers. My burger sat for about 5 minutes before I could get someone to bring ketchup and mustard. The smoked pork tacos were the hit. Excellent. Would recommend. And reasonably priced. Waited 45 minutes to sit. Amazing how crowds flock to average places. I like the idea of the place, but I just couldn't justify going back at those prices.

I have had better times . Spent 35 bucks on food and drink and left feeling like I was not treated like a customer by the bartendress . Food great . Good beer . Bad bar girl . I will think again about where I spend my money . I will look elsewhere .

Pleasant atmosphere, great truffle-oil fries... but my blackened chicken mac & cheese was lacking. First, the chicken wasn't blackened at all. It seemed like they roasted a chicken with a little salt and pepper, sliced the breast with skin and all, and mixed it in with the mac. Second, the chicken had such a thick layer of fat under the skin that it tasted more like a squishy duck breast (I love duck but the texture of this chicken was just weird). I'm not sure if they changed the recipe from what was listed on the menu or if it was just a mistake, but I wouldn't order that dish again. Everyone else at my table really enjoyed their meals, and the beer was great!

Probably my favorite casual bar/restaurant in Wilmington. Great food, great beer selection, friendly and helpful staff. Specials are always unique and you can tell the food is fresh and the chefs really care about what they're doing. There are some expensive entrees but most stuff is pretty affordable.

My boyfriend and I went in on Halloween night to try someplace new. I'm always looking for non-franchise-y places to dine in our area. We loved it! The beer selection is full of great options. He had the southern tier warlock and loooooved it. It was recommended my the bartender. I had the corn and crab chowder and we both devoured that. My boyfriend had the BBQ brisket dish that he inhaled. I also had the chopped blt salad that was fresh and a good sized portion. We went back today to grab some lunch and had another great experience. The waitresses and bartenders are nice. The atmosphere is laid back and makes you feel like you're hanging out somewhere in the city instead of in the middle of the 'burbs! We'll be back S2P!!

The crab and corn chowder was a meal in itself. Many different beers to try. Southern Tier Creme Brulee Imperial Stout was a fantastic dessert beer.

Finally got to try it here a few Saturdays ago - came back Sunday for brunch and last night for dinner and drinks. If you've been here already, then you know they are the top of the heap in the craft beer scene. And, yes, it can be pricey if you make it that way - still plenty of awesome, local brews that don't break the bank. Just have to be smart about what you order (they do provide a drink menu with plenty of info about the beers including price). I think the food is what really surprised me and what has kept me coming back. You walk into a pretty industrial looking place in a strip mall - I didn't expect much past wings and potato skins. What I got was food that was more creative and all-around better than any upscale, fine-dining spot around here. Oysters on the half shell with apple-champagne mignonette, seared sushi-grade tuna with toasted orzo and wasabi-soy vinaigrette, beer braised shortrib with truffled brussel sprouts and mashed root vegetables. All amazing. Brunch (my favorite meal) was even better. The place is a lot brighter during the day with the curtains pulled open. I got their breakfast burger (over easy egg, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella and sweet pea pesto), my wife got an omelette with pears, arugula and bucheron (we were unfamiliar - bartender explained that it's a goat cheese). Best brunch we've had in years. And if you can't handle a beer at 10 in the morning (I can, wife can't), the bartender was making some very cool Bloodys. One had a sriracha and wasabi bloody mix with a ginger vodka that they infuse in house; another was made with another vodka infused with fresh veggies. Only other thing to talk about is the service...so far, we've sat at the bar twice (once just grabbing a drink) and we've sat at a table twice. No complaints at all. Staff is extremely knowledgeable about the food and beer. Everyone was attentive without being in our faces constantly. This is a place that has a great shot at becoming my favorite place around.

Amazing beer selection and creative menu. Bbq pork is good. But...yikes! Prices are so high. $9 for a 9 ounce beer? I love great beer...but these prices are crazy. I've been twice because of great beer selection, both times nacho platter served cold. Food service lacking.

I'm a beer snob, I'll admit this upfront. My favorite beers are Duvel from Belgium & Erdinger from Germany. I don't really get this whole "craft beer" thing, but it's in abundance at Two Stones. Beers with peach flavors, ect. VERY EXPENSIVE! And the food was, Meh! The layout of the place is a bit awkward and it is REALLY NOISY! Won't go back.

We wanted to like this bar given the location and beer selection but everyone was disappointed with the service, prices, and overall quality of the food. The beer bar gastropub trend has finally hit the suburbs but unfortunately Two Stones is trying to charge city prices for beer and very mediocre food. I suppose the owners don't understand that city prices are justified by higher overhead costs but the restaurant was packed so maybe I'm out of touch. The service was terrible from start to finish. The host staff and servers are clearly overwhelmed and the kitchen sent out cold food that arrived at separate times. The server tacked on a 20% gratuitity on our party of seven which was appalling to everyone at the table. We don't believe the staff deserved a 20% tip especially considering how overpriced the food and beer are to start with. The food was very mediocre with the highlights being the wings and $14 burger. $14 for a good not great burger!!! Did I mention that this place is overpriced for Delaware? The pork tacos and nachos were absolutely terrible. This place should stick to wings and burgers because the attempts at Mexican were bad. The tortillas, guac, and salsa were clearly not handmade. I hate to slam small businesses but this place deserves a scathing review. I love the gastropub trend but the lazy owners didn't attempt to adjust prices from whatever city bar they stole the beer list from. I literally drink cheaper beers in DC, NYC, and Philly. If you feel like paying New York City prices for good beer and mediocre food, Two Stones is the place to go!

Really impressed. Had been talking about checking it out for a while, and so I took my wife and her sister for their birthday dinner last night. Great beer options, friendly and helpful bartenders, very accurate on the wait time for a table on a Saturday night. Awesome food - the appetizers were delicious, both the mussels and the guacamole. My steak could not have been prepared better. One of the best I have had anywhere. Didnt get to try dessert but I will def check it out next time. Really a great meal.

Since I had been to the Newark location several times for awesome tacos and craft beer, me and my boyfriend were very excited that a second Two Stones was opening up less than a mile from my house and we even showed up on the opening day. Both locations have great food (In Wilmington I have had the lovely carrot-ginger soup, crabcake sandwich and other assorted appetizers and sandwiches). This place isn't puts thought and effort into their food (which is more than most places in Delaware can say) and I do not mind paying $10 or $15+ dollars for a delicious sandwich or entree. However, the problem I have especially with this location is the cost of the beer. I am a craft beer drinker who understands that you must pay a premium price for good brews, but me and my boyfriend recently paid $18 + tip for two Evolution Rise Up Stouts (that was borderline flat with no head). I know Evolution is not a huge brewery but they are located only one state away in Maryland so I don't know how Two Stones can charge $9 for one beer, especially since I have had Rise Up and several other bars in Wilmington for at least $3 less per pour. For some context, I also recently paid only $8 for an Tripel Karmeliat on draft in Philadelphia. For an imported Belgian beer on draft in a big city to be cheaper than an American Stout from Maryland at a bar in Delaware is a little confusing to me. Also, this location has given me the wrong beer twice now (the first time was on opening day which I can understand). The second time I ordered a Victory Altbier, and I received a very hoppy, straw colored beer. I am not an expert on beer by any means, but I know most Altbiers are a traditional German style that usually come in a dark amber color and are not notably hoppy, and I even looked up a description of this beer that said it should be "almost brown in color" so this is more than slightly annoying that servers are not aware of the beer they are serving. Anyway, this will probably not stop me from coming here every once in a while, for the food at least. Overall you get really creative, yummy bar food with a cool atmosphere and (generally) decent service. I just wish 2SP would be a little more competitive with beer prices and perhaps train their servers to be more beer-centric and knowledgable.

Two Stones stepped up to the plate(so to speak). Stigz's comment prompted me to update. I've notice where they have started a 3 dollar PA craft brew selection along with better beer specials and longer Happy Hour (3-6). Might I suggest 3-7 for us 9-5ers? I haven't had a chance to get back, but I follow their facebook page and the food continues to look amazing. Just really glad they offer more selection for those of us who like good beer, but aren't into the full craft experience. While it may not affect the tables, I think it makes the bar area more of a meeting place where you are more inclined to hang around longer and order food, verses grabbing a quick one and heading somewhere else to eat.

Great Beer selection and really good food. Love the dirty Kettle chips, hog wings, buffalo wings and nachos that are only $5 during happy hour. I've been a big fan of the Newark location for the past year and couldn't wait until they opened one right down the road from me. With that being said unfortunately I find myself still traveling to the Newark location for stuff like the large selection of Pumpkin beers, the upcoming dark beer night (black Friday), Dueling Dogs, Taco Tuesdays and beer dinners. Also bummed that the $5 appetizers during happy hour although a great value are only available in the bar area now.

The best selection of craft beer in Delaware. Nuff said.

Great beer selection....got the hot & spicy fries and the 2SP stacked nachos. Spicy fries were okay, if u like soggy (i don't). Nachos were topped with pulled pork, not a fan of sweet pulled pork flavored nachos. Reasonable prices for the portions.

Thumbs up .

You just can't get any better. Amazing food, knowledgeable staff (for beer especially), and a fantastic beer menu. Good for families, couples, the boys, or a quick bite to eat solo watching the game. Fantastic place.

Tried this place twice now. Good beer selection. Food is ok. Maybe on the better side for bar options and eating. Atmosphere is decent for a strip mall. Seems pretty clean and the staff is friendly.

Probably my favorite casual bar/restaurant in Wilmington. Great food, great beer selection, friendly and helpful staff. Specials are always unique and you can tell the food is fresh and the chefs really care about what they're doing. There are some expensive entrees but most stuff is pretty affordable.

Great beer selection....got the hot & spicy fries and the 2SP stacked nachos. Spicy fries were okay, if u like soggy (i don't). Nachos were topped with pulled pork, not a fan of sweet pulled pork flavored nachos. Reasonable prices for the portions.
